As she pulled out her wand, she heard Zhenya ask about the spell she was going to be practicing. "The Patronus Charm," Vashti replied with a smile. "I've been practicing for awhile, but I still haven't managed a corporeal one yet." Which was really disappointing. She wasn't sure what memory would help her produce a corporeal Patronus. She'd used quite a few of her really happy memories, and those hadn't worked. What other ones did she still have to use? It would take a bit of thinking to figure it out.

Nate was too busy watching Jez in awe to notice the dummy two feet away from him. "Oh, right!" he said, snapping back to reality. He turned on another dummy: the one Jez had blocked wasn't intelligent enough to back up a bit and simply walk around the shield charm. Nate contemplated his next move. Unpredictable, spontaneous... he riffed in his head, trying to find a new jinx, hex, or curse to use. "Diffindo!" he yelled, flicking his wand at a close and advancing dummy, which slowed rapidly and then fell to bits upon being hit by the charm. As he whirled back around, a dummy was just beginning to generate sparks on its hand. "Aguamenti!" Nate said reactively, dousing the sparks in a conceited, superior manner. Don't get cocky... he told himself, realizing that cockiness could get him killed in a real situation like this. As he backed up, he ran into Jez and jumped a few inches off of the ground. "Aagh!"

"Wow, I've heard about the Patronus Charm, but I've never tried to cast it. Well, I don't think I could do anything..." she said. Zhenya knew there were many spells that first years could never dream of casting. She looked around for something light she could practice Wingardium Leviosa. She spotted a feather, luckily and put it on the floor to practice on.

"Can you show me your Patronus?" she asked Vashti.

Mean? Jonathan smirked. He's their house elf, that's not mean compared to other pureblood aristocrats. What they sometimes do is beyond the limits of just being mean. Nobi is family well at least to Jonathan's family. He's not quite sure how did his grandfather treated the house elf before. He didn't ask much. But that was hilarious. A good laugh in fact. Kurumi may have been scared about it but really Jonathan would never do such a thing. In fact why would he ever do that in the first place anyway? That's entirely not like him.

Jonathan nodded. Yup... pretty much his whole life. "15 years of Nobi and still counting" he laughed. Nobi is really nice, Jonathan will die if he dies. He can clean the whole house without complaining. Jonathan can't even clean his bed in the morning and still complains about it. yeah, Nobi is really REALLY important.

''I know it's lovely here isn't.''He looked at Chelsea,He put his hand around her shoulder and whispered in her ear,''Your so beautiful.''

Kurumi was still on the house elf kick and didn't notice that she was still sitting on his lap. Her right arm had moved around his shoulders now for no other reason other than she needed it for balance. Falling off his lap and landing on the piano would have been embarrassing after all. The sound it would have made...Jonathan would probably turn bright red from laughter.

"15 years...wow...that's almost like me and my family's dog," she nodded. It was about 13 years now. Kurumi had been almost 2 when Hikari had been born, but that dog had been her most constant companion. A best friend that she could always come and talk to - although she didn't really expect the dog to talk back. Still, they seemed to be able to communicate without words. It was a lovely feeling.

It was NOW that she realized that she had totally invaded his personal space and her cheeks flushed instantly. "I...erm...sorry...I guess I got a bit carried away with the whole house elf talk," she said sheepishly. She should probably get off his lap now...

"Watch it!" yelled Jez, jumping too as Nate ran into her and then screamed like a girl. But she was smiling as she faced him. "First rule of a fight - watch your back. Second rule - watch your teammates. Third rule -" Jez pointed her wand over Nate's shoulder at an approaching dummy. "Protego!" The dummy was left trying to find a way around the invisible wall. Dumb dummies. Jez grinned at Nate from under her too-long fringe. "Watch your opponents." Keegan had taught her those rules, back when she was learning street fighting. In a street fight, there are no real rules. There are no fouls or replays. All that matters is how much pain you can tolerate. Winning is walking away alive. Losing ... let's just say you don't want to lose.
Jez remembered the Muggle children who used to bully her about her magic. The girls would whisper and giggle and exclude her, but she didn't mind that. The boys would corner her after their school was finished - the Blacks had private tutors - and beat her up. Keegan had fought battles against boys way older than himself to protect Jez. Jez herself had fought dirty. She was usually the person who won. Keegan always praised her when she stood up for herself.
Jez gritted her teeth. Keegan was the reason she was here. She didn't want to think about him. "Incendio!" she shouted, sending flames licking up a nearby dummy. Funny. Pain seemed to make magic work better.

He has experienced his life with Nobi for 15 years but he's not entirely sure how long the elf has breathe the air. Although he was also his father's house elf from before so that means Nobi is sooooo old, Jonathan shouldn't even be bothering summing it all up. Yes, the house elf has been in their family for a long time and hopefully, until Jonathan has his own family to raise as well. "Yeah.. Long enough" he said as he locked his hands around her waist.

Jonathan, however isn't really as interested in house elves as Kurumi. Jonathan only cares for his house elf alone. "It's okay" he smiled. "Although, I haven't seen anyone who's really fascinated about them" Kurumi was really excited talking about his house elf. No biggie though.

Kurumi smiled, although something told her that Jonathan wasn't exactly thinking about his relationship with the house elf in the same way she was, but her inklings were not something she was really thinking about right now. Nope, she was distracted by all house elf thoughts when his arms wrapped around her waist. Why were they talking about house elves right now? It wasn't exactly Valentines' Day conversation and Kurumi felt like smacking her forehead for totally ruining the mood that had been created between them.

A mood that Jonathan seemed to be rectifying himself in his body language...which triggered more blushing from the fourth year. "S-S-Sorry," she giggled. "I guess I just find that I can relate to them, it is a rumor that I am part house elf after all." Stupid Kurumi. Stop talking about house elves right now. "Erm...I mean, with all the bowing, baking, and making sure that others are happy first..." She needed someone to do something to shut her up before she kept babbling on.

No need to sorry about it, Jonathan shook his head and smiled. House elves can be fascinating creatures too. Jonathan just doesn't know a lot about them. He hasn't even talked this much about a house elf before. It was usually the same thing. Person asks if their family has one, he says yes, end of conversation. Or at least, that's how it is he remembered in the past. maybe that's why Jonathan knows not that much about Nobi. They don't talk much about the little creature. His mother, his father, their uncles. Nada. He tried asking once during a certain family reunion but his grandfather didn't go further much into it... he even changed the subject as far Jonathan had remembered.

Jonathan laughed. "i've heard of that one." someone probably slipped it out like it was a normal thing. "but i don't think you are." he poked her. There is nothing wrong with baking and most especially bowing. Bowing is in Jonathan's customs too but he doesn't bow as much though. Only when he meets their fellow Korean guests.

"Yes it is lovely here" she agreed. Chelsea smiled and blushed, when he put his arm around her it sent chills up her spine. She never felt like this before, Ryan did truly make her happy. Getting caught up in the moment she leaned in and gave him a real, passionate kiss, as she pulled away "I love you" she whispered. Wait, one second did she just say that? She was thinking it but she must have been thinking aloud again.

''I love you to.''He said giving her a kiss on her cheek.''I'm sorry but I've got to go and study.''

Kurumi blushed a bit more when Jonathan laughed about the whole house elf thing. She had taken it rather seriously and actually looked through the archives to see if she DID have any relatives that could have been house elves - however unlikely. Naturally, things had turned up negative, but at least that had given her peace of mind.

And then he was poking her, which tickled a bit considering he was poking her sides, and she let out a girlish giggle. "That tickles," she laughed as her hands and arms moved away from her side and slipped around his shoulders. Once she had composed herself a bit more, she stopped and looked into his eyes, her cheeks flushing rosy pink again and she nibbled on her bottom lip. "Um...Jonathan...than you, for today, really," she said, leaning in a bit closer. "It's been the best Valentines' Day I've ever had." True statement and no exaggeration there. She leaned in even closer, her lips just barely not touching his. "I really like you, a lot." In case that wasn't obvious already. Then, before she could say something to distract herself or start of on some awkward ramble, she closed what gap was left and kissed him softly as her delicate fingers played with his hair.

"Thats alright, I also need to catch up on a few assignments" she added. She didn't want to get behind on her studies, because of her aunt and uncle. But today had been a great day. yay he loves me she thought as she stood up picking up her bag. Wow she was such a girly girl.

''Alright bye.''He said before walking out the door.

Jonathan doesn't usually tickle people. in fact he's not the type to tickle someone but this just came out of nowhere. Although, it's not his first tickle, no, he has tickled someone in the past, so probably Kurumi was the second or was she the third to be tickled. Jonathan was more of a cheek pincher, if ever that was a correct word to describe him. Yes, he likes to pinch cheeks and maybe mess someone's hair, which he does a lot to Daichi. Poor little Slytherin, he should go give this little guy a gift.

"you are welcome" he smiled. It's his first Valentine day ever, and probably his mother is more than willing to know--- and so is his father. Surely, the two will not only want to hear stories but they will definitely want to meet her. That will be weird and awkward. Weird for most part though.

Then she got nearer, Jonathan sat still. Okay... he was surprised by that. Surprise that she suddenly went closer. "I like you too" he whispered as he brushed her hair and looked at her purple eyes. Then he kissed her back as he closed his eyes. This one is different though, it felt nicer and better.

Her eyes fluttered shut when his did and her body relaxed into the kiss. While she didn't have many to compare this one to, Kurumi knew that this was the best kiss she had ever received. There was a gentleness behind this one, a fierceness and both those combined were both beautiful and terrifying. It was, for lack of a better work, magic, the way his lips connected with her own. It was right, and somehow, among all of the dizziness and the clinging to him like a life line, something inside the young lioness changed, never to be reversed. This new feeling could be dwelled upon later, because, for now, she was content to feel his breath come and go with her own.

Her hands fell from his neck softly to her sides and slowly her eyes opened to look at him. She had no idea how long they had been like that, but did it really matter? She didn't want the moment to end...everything was...perfect.

Jonathan's heartbeat was out of rate. He wanted to laugh for no reason at all. Everything just felt something to be happy about. Let's face it, Jonathan started the year in a rather bad mood because of his blonde hair. He thought that just like last term, he was going to have a bad year as well.... He thought wrong. Right now, is probably one of the best days he had ever had experienced in his 5 years in Hogwarts.

After awhile, Jonathan opened his eyes as she also did. He smiled. A year ago he would never thought of liking Kurumi more than a little sister. He had always thought that she will be forever like that. Then when summer came probably everything change. He denied at first because he didn't want to believe that he is starting to like her.

Took him long enough to finally admit it to himself.

"I... uhmmm..." he spoke. He rambled. He doesn't know what to say, there he goes again. He should at least be able to train his mouth to speak every after they kiss. Oh Jonathan!

Kurumi nearly squeaked when he had opened his eyes as well. Well...this was awkward...they were both looking at one another while... She turned a deeper shade of pink and she was actually a little relieved when he finally pulled away and...rambled? She blinked a few times with her wide violet eyes and ended up uhm-ing the same instant he did. Now she was giggling and she ran her fingers through his hair playfully.

"Should we...um...should we start heading back to our common rooms?" She pouted slightly, but it was getting late. Still, she didn't move an inch for her current position. He was going to have to make the first move.

Kurumis is probably the only girl to ever touch his hair multiple times. Jonathan doesn't like his hair being touch even though there is nothing really wrong with touching someone's hair. So yeah, Kurumi is the only person that touches his hair without him complain at all. In fact, he's used to it that he doesn't really mind everytime she does.

He looked at his pocket watch. Yeah, it is kinda getting late. Jonathan still has to study after this. His just hoping he won't sleep early. He nodded at her suggestion. Although looking at where Kurumi is right now he can't seem to even moved an inch.

He smiled at her "I'd love to but..." he looked at her "I don't think you want me to go..." he laughed. Yeah, he's not moving when she's not.

"Is it a bad thing if I don't want you to?" Kurumi she asked with a somewhat playful frown. What? It was a legitimate concern. He could have been joking around with her again when he said it, or there could have been some sort of hidden truth behind it like...he was spending too much time with her and not his housemates or other friends. Or studying for his OWLs, but Kurumi somewhat doubted that those were the first things that popped into his mind on a daily basis.

Kurumi eyed the pocket watch in his hands that he treasured so much, an antique passed down generation to generation and finally saw what time it was. Meep. She still had prefecting things to take care of! "Well, if you insist," she laughed with a forced sigh as she slid off his lap and back onto the piano bench. Really, it was times like this she was thankful that she was small for her age. No squishing Jonathan or anyone else.

"Thank you...again...for everything." Of course, no compliment would be complete without her blushing and her hair changing just a bit towards a pink hue, so she did on both accounts.

Jonathan laughed. She could just say if she wants to stay because Jonathan can stay. More reason to stay away from homework and studying. Now, that sounds even more fun. But he's not going to tell Kurumi that. If he does, she'll definitely push him out the door in a blink of an eye. "Nope. Not at all" he said casually.

Jonathan stood up and walked with her to the door. In his hands was the box of chocolates she gave. It still has a lot, he'll be eating them day by day until he finishes it. Now, he's just hoping it'll last till the end of the term. But knowing Jonathan, a chocolate bar doesn't go further than a day or two. It must be eaten on the same day and in one seating. Yeah!

"Thank you as well" he said kissing her cheeks and waved. "see you" he winked and started walking away. It'll be a long LONG walk to the dungeons.

"I'll keep that in mind for another time then," she smiled sheepishly as they walked towards the door. It seemed to appear before them too quickly and then it was time for them to part ways for the evening. Her stomach was in small knots and butterflies were flapping their wings all over the place. How was she supposed to finish such a perfect evening?

But Jonathan did that for her when he bent down to kiss her cheeks. She took his hand for a moment, just wanting to make one more small memory in the gesture. "G-Good night," she smiled, slowly letting go of his hand and watching as he began making his way down the hallway after they exited the Room of Requirement. Hopefully he was far enough away to not hear it, but Kurumi let out a girlish squeal as she leaned against the wall holding her cheeks.

Happy Valentines' Day indeed.

"Yip." Alex smiled. "Could you slow it down a little bit i would liek to come of now." she said still with a big smile. She loved swings she just didnt know why.

"Good to hear." Alex said swinging her legs so she swung b ackand forth gently.

"Oh you can ask, just know that the answer will most likely be no."
*Putting his arms back around her Matty yawned starting to feel a little tired. Dancing like a muggle moron really seemed to take it out of him. Closing his eyes but still awake he asked.*
"What is it?"
