Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well.
Still looking a bit puzzled when entering the Great Hall, Gwendolyn rushed to her house table. Now why did Ari have to mention that to me?, she asked herself, really not managing to figure out what she ment by what she said. Was that just to make me feel awkward, or did she really not realize I was going to react in the way I did. Gah, just forget it!, the second year told herself, while coming closer to the Ravenclaw house table.
Giving a general 'Hi', Gwendolyn smirked, looking around and hoping to find a seat. Next to some normal people, prefferably, she thought, still scanning the place. Realizing that at this table were only fellow housemates, and none of them could be as annoying as the first year huffies, Gwen picked a random place and finally took a seat.
Louisa wanted to roll her eyes and shout at the boy to just RUN AWAY! Yes, they didn't finish talking but Enya was here and this was no time for talking - not when someone as angry as Enya around. But she didn't have the chance to reply to him because she was pushed away, rather too strongly to fall on the bench. Her back hit the edge of the table and she flinched.
"Enya, please.. there's n-" Her voice pleading. It wasn't until Enya's hand was raised, threateningly, that Louisa gasped. "No! Stop it!" But she didn't dare to stand back up between them. Dallin was safe but not the other one. The fourth year, logically, worked on the boy, "Dallin, please, I'm begging you to just go!" It wasn't likely that a boy would just walk away when a younger girl raises her hand to hit him..
..hit him? The Ravenclaw didn't even tolerate such a possibility. If only she knew how to cast a perfect shield like Vashti. But there was no time for wishes, she prepared herself to launch herself between the two at any second - her hands on either sides of her, her body slightly off the bench.

The calm before the storm, you could say. Hopefully the storm wouldn't actually come. As Enya threatened to slap him, Dallin watched her raise her hand out of the corner of his eye without breaking eye contact with Enya.
"How about," he started slowly, "you don't even know what's going on between me and Louisa?" There was a reason. "And that you aren't even listening to your best friend?" Okay, neither was Dallin. But that didn't really matter, did it? Because she was just telling him to leave. Nothing important.
Slowly, he reached back to rest a hand on his wand, just in case he needed it. He had no idea what Enya would do. "Now please," His voice got even lower and he glanced at Louisa for a fraction of a second before returning his gaze to Enya, "get away from me."
Why couldn't she just STAY OUT OF IT!? Enya thought widely turning to glare at her best friend for a moment before turning back. She said nothing. Yeah course she loved her best friend but there were times when she seriously got on her nerves but she felt crowded sometimes when she was with the girl. Why couldn't she just let her get over it? get rid of the steam? She seriously wasn't looking out for this guy!? the same one WHO BROKE HER HEART? Enya tightened her eyes once more in a glare but this time aimed it forward at Dallin.
Don't know what's going on between them both? "I know enough to know you should STAY AWAY FROM HER. Do you not care about how she may feel!?" She demanded pointing at Louisa herself. Not listening to her best friend? "I could say the same for you. Hasn't she asked you many of times to leave," Pause, "Like a little girl?" Okay so now she felt she was getting into the mood. Que cards at the ready.
"But of course you haven't thought about Louisa ONCE since sitting down because your just self-centered"
She saw his arm move but she was unsure what he now had his hand on, not taking a chance Enya quickly located her wand by feel and was ready if she needed to whip it out. Suppose it helped she tended to hold her wand up her sleeve so she could just slip it down ready to duel. Duel in the great hall? talk about attention seeking, not that she minded of course. Enya laughed when he instructed her to leave him alone, Yes she was going to follow his orders.
"I don't do what Louisa tells me to do half the time. What makes you think i'll do what you tell me?!" She asked giving Dallin a smile. She was enjoying this, perhaps too much but she didn't care. "How about you answer my question?" She pressed eyeing him.

The cold stinging words were shot between the two and just as the fourth year girl was staring she caught their both hands going slowly behind them and resting on their wands - sitting down and being able to stare at their hips was an advantage after all.
Quickly, and rather strongly, Louisa's both hands were extended and she slapped her friends' hands away and snatched their wands out of their pockets. "What are you two doing!?" She hissed, standing back up - jumping up, actually, and looked from Enya, on her right, up to Dallin, on her left. "Stop it right now!" Back to staring at her friend, "Enya, I told you. He just came to talk. Things have changed." Like the curse story Louisa had known few days ago, that made a huge difference. Unfortunately, the girl didn't get the chance to tell that to the fuming older gril friend. "If you two don't knock it off, I'll have to call a professor." Oooo! Look who's threatening and calling professors - the adults Louisa didn't care for.

Dallin had successfully blocked Louisa out. He had a feeling he knew what she was saying, though. Stop, leave, things of that nature. He wasn't ignoring her though. No. He stared down at Enya as she yelled into his face, keeping his face practically emotionless. But what she was accusing him of - that was horrible! He could easily ignore the little girl comment, but everything else? "I DO care about her! Why do you THINK I'm here to talk to her?! Because I want to know how she's doing!" Well, not really. His original purpose for talking to her was to cuss her out about the love potion...
Anyway.
... Suddenly, the wand that Dallin's hand had been resting on vanished... and his eyes shot to Louisa. She was holding it. And Enya's, apparently. He actually turned away from Enya, eyeing the fourth year in front of him. What, did she actually think he'd been about to use it? He was going to demand for it back... but then he realized that Enya didn't have hers, either. So she couldn't do anything. So he didn't need his.
Okay. Back to yelling at Enya.
Ahem. "I am not self-centered!" He could be cocky, yes, but self-centered? No. "Why don't you ask me about my opinion, huh? Instead of assuming that I'm a horrible person just 'cause I didn't return Louisa's feelings?"
And then she was back in his face. He shook his head ever-so-slightly. "Leave. Me. Alone." He wasn't asking nicely anymore.
Yes... if Enya backed down, Dallin would leave. Gladly. But there was no way he would give up on this before she did. And Louisa's threat about finding a professor? Dallin hardly heard it.

Again she ignored her when Louisa spoke, she wasn't part of this. This was between her and Dallin and no one else SHOULD INTERRUPT. She thought not even giving her best friend a glance. "You care about her do you?" Enya sneered not taking her eyes from him, "Tell me what did you talk about when you sat down? Your precious Ellie?" She asked. God she hated that girl. Ever since she met her a year ago.
"I don't take that as caring. You ONLY care about YOURSELF" Her voice was beginning to rise. She was mad.
Enya went for her wand, she was going over the edge, but when he hand touched the place she knew it'll be she couldn't find it. Not taking her eyes from Dallin she began to search for it with her hand but nothing. Out of the corner of her eyes she could see Louisa sitting there wands in her hand....hey wait was that her wand?"What do you think your doing!?" She demanded finally turning towards the girl. "Give me back my wand NOW!" She demanded making a snatch for it but was unable to get it.
"Why can't you just stay out it Louisa. This has nothing to do with you" Okay well it did but she couldn't think of anything else to say right now.
Okay back to hating Dallin and thinking up ways to make him pay. "To me that makes a horrible person. You didn't even talk to her about it! No all you did was think about yourself and her and leave Louisa here to pick up the piece's of her broken heart," Pause, kinda a guess and all, "And now here you are suddenly caring about her? I don't buy it! I know enough to know that YOU. SHOULD. LEAVE. LOUISA. ALONE" Glare.
Leave him alone? Ha she was going to do the opposite. Without a moments thought she turned towards the table and picked up a lemon cake before turning back to Dallin and shoving it into his face, "Don't tell me what to do" She cried throwing the rest of the cake onto the table next to Louisa.

Jez approached the Ravenclaw house table. Merlin's beard, was she hungry ... She spotted a tasty looking quiche with her name on it. Then she spotted a girl shoving a cake into a a boy's face, and her good mood crumpled. Tate's Official Peacekeepers ... She hadn't thought that role would have to be played so soon. But why would an older student pay any attention to what a lone first-year had to say, much less act accordingly?
Jez had no choice. Her conscience was adamant. She walked up to the older student and tapped her on the arm. "Uh, excuse me, but what's the problem here?" Yep, there went her courage - right out those lovely full-length windows. She really hoped Scott, Nate, Jayden or Cael would come and help her with this.

Louisa's grip on their wands as she hugged them to her chest. Nope, they were NOT getting them unless they both calmed down - well, he was calm but Enya was into one of her bad moods and that called for a wand-free zone.
The words that escaped her best friend's mouth were the most comforting and consoling words Louisa had ever heard since the Diagon Alley unfortunate meet with Dallin. Everyone went on about the rational, perfect solution for her gloomy mood and disappointment. Nobody paid attention to the revenge part in her. But now Enya was the one to see it the way Louisa wanted others to see it - whether it was the right version of the story or not.
The revenge, though, was long lost after the love potion. Louisa no longer felt the stinging in her heart or the bitterness in Dallin and Ellie's relationship. But it touched it her to no limits that Enya, of all people, was 'punishing' Dal.
....aaaaand she smashed a cake over his face. Louisa's jaw dropped open and she would've laughed had the intention of her friend was playful. "Merlin's Beard!" She mumbled to herself, taking a step back she almost bumped into something..or someone..

Scott came into the great hall as he had heard that he might be needed on Peace Patrol. Tate really was taking the mick!
He immediately found a fourth year, and determined this was the one he was looking for, he intently listened on what she had to say.
He walked towards her and quietly said "Tell that to the Headmaster" They REALLY didn't understand what was going on.
He hoped Cael and the others would arrive soon.

Quite commotions at the Ravenclaw Table with three older students are having something for adults only. Erin didn't mind them that much. She took a seat a not far away from them but not too near as well. Harsh things happened in a second. She watched the ruckus at the corner of her left eye and that girl; she thought Enya, the one she saw at the train, the mean girl at Hogwarts, shoved a cake to the guy. Mean. So mean.
Well, she's meddling too much with their issues. She's happy today and she's going to be happy even if she's alone here, overhearing conversations of adults. She looked at her meal and it made her smile. Lamb stew with wild rice. Yummy! Feels just like home with Nanny Lisa cooking.
Erin took a bite and completely ignored the three students. It's their problem anyways. She placed Heide, her doll from her hand at the table beside her goblet. She doesn't want to lose her again. She remembered, she hadn't given her thank you to Justin for finding Heide. She's definitely doing it today.

Jordan skidded up next to Nate, "Never fear, Jordan is here!" he smiled. He was still slightly peeved that he'd been roped into this. He was unconscious for all of the duel! "Whats going on here?" he asked, his eyes widening at the happenings.

"From the looks of it..." Nate said, gesturing towards the hullabaloo, "she threw a cake at him. I don't know what caused this all, I just got here, as did Scott and Jez. It's possible that she--" he gestured toward the furious girl who had thrown the cake, "--has somehow ingested a hate potion, but that's only a theory. She could also just be genuinely ticked off," he said, his true American self coming out near the end. "But the third girl has their wands, apparently," he said, having just noticed such. "Don't take your wand out, Tate frowns upon that," he added.

Yep, there went her courage - right out those lovely full-length windows. She really hoped Scott, Nate, Jayden or Cael would come and help her with this.

"Merlin's Beard!" She mumbled to herself, taking a step back she almost bumped into something..or someone..
...Louisa turned to the young girl and raised her eyebrows. "Oh. no. Please, go back kid. This isn't a game." She held out her arm to block the kid's way. It might've looked like a party or something but really...it's not.

"Don't take your wand out, Tate frowns upon that," he added.
He had nothing to say to that? Well well well this was interesting. She'd been expecting him to throw something back at her at least, something a normal person would do. But no? Well, with a smile on her face she took a step back and went to reach for another cake. This was going to be fun but before she could think of throwing it at Dallin she noticed a gathering of first year.
Oh for gods sake! Why couldn't they stay out of things!? She asked herself turning towards them, cake still raised. "Oi ever heard of privacy? GO. AWAY." She said, she was all for getting the socked in cake also but she couldn't be bothered with them right now. SHE. HATED. FIRST. YEARS. throwing a glare their way though could kill she peeked at Louisa and Dallin before feeling someone touch her arm. Looking down she noticed one of the first years had touched her. Oh not good. With her good hand she pushed the girl away saying, "Don't touch me" God couldn't they leave?
But now Louisa had to but in, well she was okay with her best friend at least but all that really came out of her friends mouth was shocked words. Well Well Well she'd shocked her best friend once more. Good, Enya knew this was going to get fun.
More kids walked in and Louisa's eyes widened as they all greeted each other and one of them actually mentioned the headmaster? O__o Seriously?
With a scoff the girl talked, "Umm.. excuse me but are you seriously going to escort me to the headmaster?" She grinned at the boy who suggested it. What was he? Eleven? Twelve years old? She could tell that from his high voice.
Stepping to stand next to Enya, she addressed her, "Enya, stop it. They're kids." No need to hex or throw food at them, that'll be totally savage - a few stern looks might do it.
Turning back to Dal, Louisa smiled apologetically at him and waved her own wand, "Scourgify." Then handed him his wand but kept Enya's wand with her. Facing her girl friend again Louisa said in a stern tone, "Enya, I think you should apologize to him--" Louisa inclined her head at Dal, "--you misunderstood him. Please let's just get out of here and talk about it, can we?" She shot a look at the bunch of kids surrounding them.

"No, no, no, nononononono. You seem to have misunderstood what my good friend Scott meant when he was referring to Headmaster Tate. We're not going to escort you anywhere, unless you so wish; what he meant by that was that Tate personally appointed us to be his peacekeepers," Nate explained, speaking rather fast.

Typical. Scott was treated like he didn't have a place in this world, like they were his superiors, or his masters.
Unsurprising really, although at Hogwarts they seemed to be a bit nicer.
Oooh. He expected a pun of some sort, or sarcasm.
But this girl was in Ravenclaw and sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. He thought about this for a while.
Instead he only got an arrogant comment, to which he rolled his eyes at. "No I won't escort you to him, but I'm sure he'll be more than happy to give you a detention, dependent on what you choose to do with us" Ehh, was that the best he could come up with? "Tate especially told us" he gestured to the first years around him "To stop any fights around the school"

And with that he awaited her response.
After finishing his own piece, and upon hearing Scott finish his, Nate stepped up next to him, with a victorious-sounding "Hmph!" and looked up at the girl, smiling, with a look of 'well, that's that!' written across his face.

Ooooh. Louisa smiled, halfheartedly, at the boy who answered. Were they a pack of werewolves? Because that was what it looked like to her - they're so close that one completes the other's sentence. It was touching, really. And if Louisa was nice enough, she would've patted them on the head. Alas, she didn't want any kids to remind her of Danny - her brother.
"Oh. Okay. Well, then..um...good for you." What was a girl supposed to say when she meets a peacemaker? Louisa never read about those cases in her piles of books at home.

She averted her gaze to the boy who looked...smug. She laughed, humorlessly. "You're really sweet, you know that?" Sarcasm dripping from her words. No offense.
...detention? Do to them? Louisa's anger was starting to show on her face. "I'm really sorry to disappoint you, kiddo, but I wasn't fighting." Shooting a stern look at him, "Now, please, we need some privacy around here." Or her brand new puking pastilles would be used finally.

Jordan stood by with the Ravenclaws, resisting the temptation to gloat at the older students. Especially because they were shooting nasty looks at them all, his hair darkened almost dangerously. He just looked on smugly, though he was secretly hoping for an excuse to join in with this food fight.

"Ok, we know you weren't fighting. It was obviously them," he said, gesturing at the other two, "You'll have to excuse Scott. He's a bit eager to fulfill his new role, and he's throwing out accusations. So, if you could cut down on the stern looks a little, and possibly refrain from using those?" he said, noticing her hand twitch towards her pocket, where the corner of a shaky-looking box poked out, and on which Nate was sure he saw the word 'Puke'.

Jez's face flushed. Trying to do some good around here, and this is what you get?! She glanced nervously to the girl's pocket, where a bulge betrayed the whereabouts of a box-shaped object. Jez didn't like the look of that thing at all, but she stood her ground. "We're only trying to stop any arguments that might harm other people. We don't want to get you into trouble, but ..." She let her words trail off meaningfully.

Jez glanced around and saw that Gryffindor first-year who'd been in the courtyard. Wasn't his hair darker than before? Hmm ... She gave him a warning look, telling him not to get involved, and certainly not to spur on a food fight. She knew what Gryffindors were like.

"Yes," Jez agreed, thankful she had her friends to back her up. "What Nate said." Although the cute comment was a bit unnecessary, if you asked her. Being called cute was no laughing matter - she was called it at least five times a day at home.
Dallin almost had the urge to laugh. This wasn't funny, though. This was serious. Some girl was yelling at him. It was no laughing matter. He rubbed at his eyes, clearing the pie from them. As he did, he heard a small voice.
...Soon, a lot of small voices had come. Dallin rubbed frantically at his face, and just as soon as the pie had got there it was gone. Louisa had cleaned it. He looked gratefully at her as she gave him his wand; good. He trusted her enough to not hex Enya into next week, like he wanted to. He put his wand back in his pocket just to further show that he wasn't going to use it... and then it was time to deal with the situation again.
He turned to the mob of little kids - was it just him, or were first years getting smaller? - and actually glared. Usually he wouldn't be so rude to kids but... this wasn't a good time to butt in. "We weren't fighting. We were discussing something, and I'd appreciate it if you would all go away." He didn't want to yell at Enya and talk about Louisa with a herd of first years around him.
With that said, he turned back to the girl in front of him. "And you - a pie? Really? That's how you solve things?" Ahem. "And for your information, I did talk to her about it. I did, and she got mad and emotional, and she stopped talking to me about it. I tried, okay? And when I couldn't do anything I gave up. If that makes me a bad person, oh. Well."

"No can do," answered Jez for her group of first-years, crossing her arms. "We're on Tate's orders." Well, not specifically for these guys, but fight breakouts in general. "We have to stop fights before someone gets hurt. Sorry," she added, not sincerely.
OOC: Sorry, but its kind of a punishment/assignment thing given by Tate. Call it an official peacekeeping obligation
Louisa grunted and threw her arms in the air - a frustration gesture. Then, she dug her hand through the cake Enya had just smacked Dal's face with and shoved a big chunk into her mouth... and some of her face, "Jish ish a cake!" She said, her mouth full, "Nobody'sh gonna hursh!" Did that sound weird to everyone?
The girl swallowed it quickly and didn't care to wipe off her face. "We're not fighting and I'm saying this for the last time. We were discussing something. And it was private until you, gang, showed up." She pointed at her mouth, "Breaking news kids, Cakes are eaten even in Hogwarts. Nobody. Will. Be. Hurt."
...why kids were so stubborn these days? She could've sworn that back when she was an icky wittle kid, she was cute sweet lil pie - no matter what Mrs. Brown had to say about this.

"Discussing... with a cake?" Nate asked with a falsely inquisitive tone.
