Wow. WOW. Ravenclaw? For some odd reason, Rory was a bit surprised by the sorting hat's decision. But then again, when he thought back to it, he was pretty fitting for this particular house. Oh, well. At least he was around people who were like him, unlike that one girl he had the odd and unusual pleasure (displeasure, depending on how you look at it) of meeting her. Selena. Come to think of it, where was she? It took him a while to remember that she was Slytherin and therefore wouldn't exactly be dining anywhere near him. As strange as it was, he kind of wished she was alongside him, starting up trouble like poking him or telling him ginormous lies about spiders. He sighed at this thought and then picked at his food.

It was fun for a while but he no longer felt as excited about his new school and his new classmates. If anything, he felt more alone as watched all of the other first years befriending each other and saw all of the older students hugging each other and talking to the friends they haven't seen in a while. Rory wanted to strike up a conversation with someone because that's what he thought he'd end up doing. But now that the time came, he preferred to settle in his seat and continue picking at his food while eating small bites.

She grinned a little, listening to Erin. "I'm okay, just really overwhelmed with how big this place is! I am so happy thought that we ended up in the same house. Yeah, lets be roomies! Seriously? Well it isn't surprising given that Hogwarts is a thousand of years old and it's magical to boot. What did they say?

She turned back to her plate to grab a goblet filled with pumpkin juice and took a tentative sip, "Wow, what is this juice? It's yummy."

She turned to her left and there sat a little boy who was eating his food. She looked at him and said a quiet "hello"

"Well, they say these Dark Creatures, the classes we're going to take up and there," she gestured toward the staff table, "Look at that professor, the second from the right. Doesn't she looked creepy. I wondeer what subject is she teaching. Two subjects I only knew as of now I am going to take, the Defense Against the Dart Arts and Potions," she finished. Just like she did, she also tooka a sip of the juice she had. "It taste good. But these utensils, really? How can we eat with these?" she said quite losing her appetite.

She glanced up at the Teacher's table and nodded in agreement. "she does look creepy! If we do have her, I hope that it isn't first thing tomorrow! Yes, me too! I think that Defense sounds very interesting and Potions sounds like Chemistry and I'm good at that."

She looked down at the table to see the odd utensils. "yeah, they are weird. I wish that we could have ordinary ones" As she spoke, an ordinary knife, fork, and spoon materialized by her plate.

"Hey Erin! Look!" She pointed at the utensils. "I just thought of them and they appeared. That is so cool! Give it a try"

Now, Erin grew tired. She just wanted a good night sleep after all the adventures at the train and now, eating. She wanted everything to end and say hello to her bed. It's going to be different now. She heard Aurora talked and everything just slips out of her mind. She's really sleepy.

"I just hope we could go to our common room as soon as possible. I feel like dreaming now," she said not looking at Aurora but definitely talking to her.

Beverly sat down on the Ravenclaw table with the other that are sorted by the sorting hat at Ravenclaw house.. Everyone is amaze by the castle and the feast in front of them... She looked around at the students to the professors and fellow Ravenclaw who are now starting eating and talking to new and older fellow students... "This is really astonishing being here" she thought...

Aurora took a bite of her meal and nodded at Erin, "yeah, I hope so too. I'm really tired especially after that long journey on the train." She yawned a wide yawn, "I'm getting so sleepy right now-- I always get that way after a big supper."

Aurora turned to see a girl looking amazed at everything around her, "Hi, I'm Aurora and I'm a first year. What's your name?"

Theodore had been in nail bite, fussing with a hangnail on his thumb, when he lowered his hand from his face. What was wrong with this girl? Prefect Dumble may not have had a bottomless pit for a stomach, but he knew that food at Hogwarts was some of the best in the country, if not in the world. Although he was opinionated from his limited perspective. "I'm sure you'll find the same stuff in the kitchens," He commented nonchalantly, grabbing his goblet and peering into it.

Temperance walks down to the table, looking for an empty seat as she goes. She does find one and sits down, looking around for anyone that rode in the compartment with her on the train but as of right now she doesn't see anyone.

She pulls out her sketchbook from her bag, opens it to the drawing of the train she was doing and start's where she left off. "I like how it's turning out so far." she thinks "I just hope I can get the color's right. My parent's will be excited to hear I made it into Ravenclaw too."

Temperance looks up from her sketchbook and takes a moment to look around her, she smiles as she realizes she is once again in awe "I really like the ceiling, I wonder if that's a spell that makes it show the weather. I think after I finish the train I will draw the ceiling and maybe the great hall as best as I can." she thinks.

Oh Hi, I'm Beverly first year too....

Luna sat down she was so excited she knew it was her second year but she was happy all the same...

Presley and Rachel where could they be? she looked around she only had to wait a minute when she went somwhere they'd always find her some how and she really wanted to celebrate Presley's birthday! I'll just talk to some first years!!!! she finally decided

Aurora smiled, Nice to meet you, Beverly. Isn't this place amazing? I'm a muggleborn so I don't know much about magic, what about you?"

Daniel had SO called it. Ravenclaw. He made his way toward the table with a grin and sat down next to a guy about his age who looked kind of bummed or something. "Hey," he said. "I'm Daniel." He stuck out a hand. He actually remembered this time, unlike when he had introduced himself to Elliot. He wondered where she was. Their meeting in Diagon Alley had been cut a bit short when his uncle had shown up to pick him and his cousin up. Speaking of which, he spied Lucas at the Gryffindor table, smiling at all the new firsties. He'd have to go over and be embarrassing later. But for now... Making Ravenclaw friends!

Aurora looked across the table to find an older girl looking around for her friends, "Hi, I'm Aurora. I'm new to Hogwarts--first year. And you?"

Watching the latest to be sorted, Aurora looked towards him and said, Hello

Daniel heard a voice from the other side of him saying hello, so he turned to find a girl about his age. "Hi," he replied with a smile. "I'm Daniel." Remember the handshake again after a split second, he stuck his hand out to her.

Aurora smiled at him and shook his hand, "I'm Aurora and a first year same like you. Isn't Hogwarts exciting?"

Daniel nodded his head in agreement. "It certainly is. I'm very glad to be here. Are you glad you got Ravenclaw?"

Aurora smiled and said, "Yes! I am glad to have gotten Ravenclaw. Although I had no idea that my thirst for knowledge was so strong. I just love learning new things. What are you most excited to learn? I think that Transfiguration sounds like it will be really cool."

Evangeline took a seat at the Ravenclaw table. She was a Ravenclaw she thought to herself, it was where she wanted to be, she felt so happy she wanted to burst. At the same time, tiredness had began to pull at her after all it had been one hectic day. She looked around herself at all the other Ravenclaws of all different ages. She smiled to herself again.

The caslte itself amazed Evangeline more then she had thought, although she had read about it nothing had really prepared her for the magical sight of it. And it was going to be her home for seven years. Evangeline glanced around the hall trying to take it all in. She then glanced at the Ravenclaw table looking for some other first years to talk to.

Aurora looked up and saw that another girl had been sorted into Ravenclaw. "Hi, I'm Aurora and also a first year. What's your name?"

Surya was walking over to the Ravenclaw table. He was looking very happy indeed. 2 of his friends Valeria and Jayden were with him in Ravenclaw. Other 2 friends of his (Sam and Jacquin) were in Gryffindor though. He was fine in any house other than Slytherin. So he made himself comfortable in an empty chair beside Jayden.

"I'm Evangeline, It's nice to meet you Aurora," Evangeline said smiling at the girls kindness. Evangeline looked at the girl, they were the same age, hopefully they would become friends.

Scott was replaying this word in his head over and over again "RAVENCLAW!"
This was it, he had done it, the worrying was over. Ravenclaw it was and shall remain.
He was so happy he had got into Ravenclaw, he had a huge smile on his face afterwards.

Scott walked to the Ravenclaw table, and took a seat, feeling a sense of belonging.
He looked above at the wonders of the great hall and then glanced around for people to talk to, he was very excited.

A boy sat across from Harvey so he decided to introduce himself.
"Hi my name is Harvey Watson" he said stretching his arm out to shake hands "What's yours?"

Annabeth was smiling, she kept replaying the moment in her head "Ravenclaw!", she saw Harvey and sat down next to him, "Hi Harvey, we're in the same house!" she said joyfully, "At least I have one friend here." she smiled at the boy that sat across from Harvey.
