Ellie DESPISED the mad rush that occurred when the train pulled into the station. She LOST people that way. People that she DID NOT want to lose. HMPH.

All alone, she made her way into the Great Hall, eyes flickering to the ceiling, and over to the Ravenclaw table.

Where she saw two awesome people sitting together. She adjusted Jacob's bag on her shoulder and approached the other two 'Claws. "Hey guys!" She offered them BOTH a hug, and kissed Eino's head. "How are you?"

It was after her greeting that she turned her attention to the table itself to sit...facing the Hufflepuff table. It was a nice change from the End of Term feast. She climbed over the bench and thrust Jacob's bag underneath. Then she noticed the silverware...ew? Why did the House Elves not make it all shiny and pretty? "You think scourgify would clean it?" she mused aloud to her companions.

Jayden chuckled as the boy continued to flirt with her. "Of course, you can call me Jay, although it seems to have a masculine feel to it. I can only hope you continue to see me as a lady, and not some tom-boyish slob." Jayden stuck out her tongue at Cael playfully. "I will be sure to let you be the first to know if I find any other suitors." She giggled, this boy was a shameless flirt, which was something they had in common, that and their blood status..

She felt a little embarassed to interrupt the conversation of the two then proceeded to Jayden's changed topic.

"Well, I've heard quite a lot to enjoy DADA, they say. What's actually DADA?" she asked embarassed once again.

Ah, finally... Cael couldn't begin to describe the relief he felt at being rebuked by such an icy princess. He'd been waiting to converse with someone of his own caliber, and Elliot's steely demeanor was both as frightening and tantalizing as stroking a deadly viper.

"Excuse my forwardness, Elliot then. We Purebloods tend to think outside of such limited rationalizations as gender assignment when naming our heirs. I myself happen to find Elliot perfectly agreeable."

"Morganzo," Cael echoed, mimicking her pronunciation and enjoying the way her name rolled off his tongue. "May I enquire as to its country of origin?"

"Caelius Ashdown, it's nice to meet you Miss...?"

"Caelius Ashdown, it's nice to meet you Miss...?"

"Defense against the dark arts is the class that teaches us students defensive techniques to defend against the Dark Arts, and to be protected from Dark creatures.... " Jayden replied... she recited the answer directly from "Hogwarts, a History" She hoped that no one would notice, for she didn't want anyone to think she was tooo nerdy.

Gaby noted the sarcasm in her friend's voice and decided to ignore it. No point making a mountain out of a molehill, right? She probably hadn't meant anything offensive by it, anyway. She was just... being Elliot. 'Well, it could be worse. You could be a Hufflepuff,' she said, attempting to cheer her up a little. 'Besides, Ravenclaw means that the Hat thinks you're smart!' she reasoned. See; smart.

As she watched the other girl look at the plates, Gaby couldn't help but gigglie a tiny bit, but she quickly covered it up by coughing. The jump was a tad over the top, she thought, but still - they were pretty disgusting. 'I have no idea. If Pokey or Mitzy ever served up anything on these at home, I'd free them in a second,' she murmured. It was foul! They couldn't eat from these! They would catch all manner of awful things!

'One of the Golden Trio,' Gaby said, filling Erin in. 'You know, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger. They defeated the Dark Lord together,' she explained. She wondered if Erin was Muggleborn - anyone bought up in the Wizarding World would know that. Not that she had anything against Muggleborns, of course.

Gaby giggled. 'Don't worry, I doubt it will be scary or anything,' she said. 'Well, from what my Aunt said and what I've read, I gather that the Headmaster makes a speech, and then when he's done he makes the food appear on the tables. It must have something to do with the House Elves, because we can't conjure food. It's one of the Exceptions to Gamp's Law,' she said knowingly.

Gaby smiled. She did enjoy being a Pureblood. It seemed that they got the best of everything. She had worried that she would be one of the only Purebloods in Ravenclaw, but it seemed that she had been wrong. 'To us,' she echoed, raising an imaginary glass. She didn't want to risk actually touching hers, after all.

'Indeed it was,' Gaby said, a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face. She was definitely having fun now. She would have to thank her parents for sending here in her next letter after all. 'Well, Miss Bowling Green is glad to grace you with her delightful presence,' she joked.

Hmm. Wales. 'I've never been to Wales...' Gaby said, more thinking out loud than actually responding to what Caelius had said. Whoopsies. She noticed that he had said guardians, and wondered what had happened to his parents. She wasn't going to ask, though - she didn't want to pry. 'What's Wales like, then?'

Erin shuddered a little to how he called her Miss. It feels like he's acting like a professor. Of course, that's how their teachers is going to address them students. She was called by her first name ever before.

She stretched her hand to answer his question, "Erin Heyman, Jayden's..." before she could even finished her sentence, something came out from her robes as she outstretched her hand, it's her wand. "Oh, excuse me for a second," she bent down to get her wand behind the table.

Did this boy look...happy at her apparent coldness? She was confused...but all the same, she was glad he didn't take offense to her icey looks and remarks...it wasn't anything personal.

We purebloods? Hmph. Of course she was, and now she was certain he was.
"Well my dad has always a boy to carry on our surname...he didn't bother to make sure he was actually having one before we popped out, my sisters and myself, and he was quite unpleasantly surprised when we turned out as girls. My sisters are Sam and Danni," she explained, her eyes trying to repress her immense remorse in not making her father happy for something so important to him, their surname. "And thank you. I happen to adore my name. And Caelius sounds Latin or something...?" she commented, and took a second to think before she responded to his next quarry. "Hm...I am pretty sure it's English," she couldn't remember if her father had any Russian in him...she thought that he did, but on his mother's side. So Morganzo was English. Good. She smirked again as he repeated her name out loud...she loved the way it sounded.

Elliot chuckled. "Yes! True! Merlin, father would really kill me if I were a Huffie..." she remarked, rolling her blue eyes. "and yes, I realize this. I mean, I always knew I was smart...but...still..." she bragged, eyeing the plate in front of her with disgust, still. She was hungry and wanted to eat. And there was no way she was eating off of them. Gah.

"My house elf wouldn't only be set free...my father would probably kill her or something!" she half-joked, picturing her scary father yelling at the cowering little elf Krosky. Poor little elfie.

She then did something very brave, and passed her finger over the plate just to see how grimy they really were. She examined her finger, which was only a little dirty, and quickly wiped it on a handkerchief that she produced from deep within her pocket. Ew.

As she gave the meaning of the word, Erin noticed that Jayden is a little confident on her answer. Oh yes, Jayden deserves to be here at Ravenclaw. She knows quite a lot. So, why is SHE here? She thought to herself. Why would that hat pur her in this table if she doens't know a single thing about MAGIC. Duuuhh! That hat may have made a mistake. Anyway, she just ignored the thought. From what she heard, well she really doesn't know, she just heard, the hat is always right.

"There are Dark creatures? What kind of creatures are they? That's a good class. I should be good in there. It's kind of the most important subject, I suppose?"

"

"Oh!" she said quite embarassed on how she doesn't know those trio. From her description, 'The Golden Trio', they're important part of the Wizarding World.

"What do you mean we can't conjure food? We can't cook? I can," she said rather pleased to herself. She know something those wizards doesnt know.

Violet sat quietly at the Ravenclaw table and watched as the sorting ceremony continued and each table erupted with cheers for their new fellow students.

She looked around at her new classmates as her bright violet eyes scanned the table. She smiles to herself as she takes this moment all in.

She hopes to make new friends at her first year of Hogwarts even though she may be shy at times.

Violet overheard the two students talking about the Golden trio and her head immediately popped up from her daze.

"I know about The Golden Trio." she said timidly. "Mom mum always told me stories about them before I came her to Howarts. I can't wait until the food arrives. I'm starving. What are your names? I'm Violet by the way. Nice to meet you."

"Not at all, I merely thought Jay as soon as I saw your eyes; as blue as a blue jay's wing..." Alright so maybe he was laying it on a bit thick. Cael tended to automatically revert to the state of casanova whenever he felt unsure of himself. Meeting a million new people... color him unsure.

"In all seriousness it was very nice to meet you and I'm sure we'll see each other later in the common room, but for now I feel as though I am intruding a bit?" Cael motioned to the other girl whose conversation he had just interrupted.

"It's quite spacious, lush really, with rolling hills and forests. Where we live I think the quietness is what you notice most. It's very isolated but not always in a bad way. Perhaps someday you could visit my home, we'd be delighted to have you, I'm sure," Cael smiled. Gaby was such an easy person talk to.

Cael flinched as Erin's wand came shooting at him; for a second there he was afraid she was going to jinx him!

"Erm, quite all right," he chuckled awkwardly as she dove behind the table.

"Ah, but what your father has yet to realize is that while you may not be able to carry his name, you are still an absolutely worthy heiress. You do both him and your family name proud, I assure you," Cael grinned, thinking about how regally, how easily she carried herself through conversation that would leave most Purebloods tripping over their own tongues.

"Hm, yes, and you'll realize just how far their Latin obsession went when you learn that my middle name is Atticus. My parents were true bibliophiles to the core and magic-lovers most of all."

"Regardless, it's a beautiful name. It suits you well, Elliot," Cael smirked. He really needed to figure out if there was a debate team at Hogwarts. Cael doubted there was a person who could stand against them if Elliot were his partner.

"Yes, there are dark creatures." Jayden replied. "There are giant spiders, and werewolves and other horrid things. "


Oh. How nice." Jayden said akwardly... hoping she hadn't offended the boy. Sometimes she could be a bit harsh. "Alright, well... talk to you later, I suppose.... I don't want to keep your other romantic prospects waiting on you too long.." She said with a wink as she motioned to the three other girls awaiting his response. She turned towards her other friends and began to engage in conversation.

She was quite startled by the intrusion of a new voice which means a new friend. Yay! she thought to herself. She motioned the girl, "Come, sit here dear. Good for you youhave a kind of Mum that's going to tell tales about Howarts. I'm a Muggleborn" she said drawing her hand to hers "I'm Erin by the way, this is Gaby."

He looked a little worried if she's going to do magic to him.

"Oh no. Don't be afraid. I don't even know how to use this. It's just luck at Ollivander's when I made sparks come out from it. I still think the shopkeeper's not satisfied."

Elliot didn't blush. It wasn't her nature. But when he said that extremely nice thing about her being a worthy heiress, her spirits soared. Her face remained expressionless, but her cheeks finally betrayed her and turned a pale pink. Elliot blinked, and replied, "Eh, well thanks. Tell my father that. He will be very disappointed that I'm not in Slytherin, either, but no matter. Ravenclaw isn't so bad," she guessed, but was secretly hoping and praying that he would not send a really angry letter to her the next day, somehow blaming her for not keeping the Slytherin in the family..she was breaking a tradition.

"I don't know much Latin. I'm sure my father does, seeing as he knows practically everything." Elliot sure did adore her father. Maybe she talked about him too much? She was glad that he mentioned something about himself; she had a nasty habit of dominating a conversation towards herself. She needed to control that...

Once again, Elliot blushed. What was with her today? Jeeze. She rested her head in her hands, her elbows sitting on the table, to hide her pink chinks. "Once again, thanks. I don't get compliments that often," she told him, blinking those icey eyes his way. Not that she didn't think very highly of herself.."I don't need them, though. I'm sure of my greatness," she assured him. She added, without a smile or any trace of joking, "Don't expect any from me, that's for sure. Compliments are gifts, only deemed on those who truly deserve them." Elliot then sat up straight again, wondering what Caelius would have to say about that.

"Oh please," Cael rolled his eyes, "I just didn't want to intrude on your conversations with your other, better friends," He gave her his best puppy dog eyes. "And they are certainly not my romantic prospects... I reserve that position solely for you, so try not to be too jealous," Cael laughed heartily as he stuck out his tongue playfully. "Now shoo, go talk to your other friends," he smirked, nudging her on the shoulder. Hopefully she could see he had just meant to be polite.

ooc: going to bed all, night!

She gasped at her words. How can she even say those words without a single fear from her eyes. Is she accustomed in seeing them?
"Do you reckon we need to face them during lessons? Because if we do, I might just walked out here and head back home?" she said.

She heard this from Jayden as she talked to Caelsius. This relationship looks quite different from friends. She chuckled. How could she say those harsh words to him then gave him a wink. She smiled to herself. Then when Jayden turned to her, "That guy, you two have a long way to go," she told her giggling.

"Me? Psh... Yeah right." Jayden responded to the boy. Nodding in agreement she got up, and walked over for a quick chat with her friends at the Gryffindor table.. but as she walked away she thought.."Jealous? Me? Hmph. Maybe I am, and maybe I'm not.. but I'm not going to give this boy any chance of knowing." She turned, and smiled back at him... and continued walking away.

"Oh, I hardly think us first years have any dark creatures to worry about for quite a while" She reassured Erin. "And as far as us? I doubt there's even hope... I'm hardly his type and well... look at him. He's a heartache waiting to happen. Noooo thank you. Now if you exscuse me, I'm going off to the Gryffindor table for a bit... be back soon." She flashed her friend a smile.

Dia looked at the spoons infront of her and whimpered. They were so dirty had anyone else noticed how yellow and - so totally ick they were? She thought as she pocked the goblet. Taking out her wand - as they were at school weren't they. She quickly filled it with water.

Oh my goodness what happens if the plate are dirty too? And the food? And the everthing? And the beds upstairs soiled and not made? She looked at the silverware and sighed.

"This is gross" she blurted out. "Anyone want to start an adventure to the 'kitchens' to find what if anything in there is edible after we have the feast here?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

She smiled. She was denying it. It was all over her face. She giggled once again, "Yeah right, Miss. I know you too well now," she half shouted to her as she walked toward the Gryffindor table.

Sensing Erin's embarrassment, Gaby decided to gloss over the Golden Trio. She would learn about them in History of Magic, anyway, so there was no need to go into it now. Instead, she gave her friend a smile, and held out the last Chocolate Frog. 'Want to split it?' she asked cheerily. 'I don't think the food is coming any time soon...'

'No, we can cook. I meant, like, magically conjure food from thin air. You can Summon it from somewhere else, I think... perhaps that's how the food gets to the table,' Gaby mused. 'Anyway, d'you like to cook, then?' cooking was fun. Especially cooking cakes and other yummy stuff like that.

'I think my parents would have killed me, too,' Gaby said, nodding in agreement. 'But just imagine being a Hufflepuff! I think I'd complain... I mean, it would be awful. Such a tragedy,' she said earnestly. 'Of course you're smart. We both are - we're in Ravenclaw,' she said, laughing. Well, this conversation was going well.

Ugh. Gaby shuddered at the thought of being served on plates this filthy at home. She picked up a spoon and examined it carefully. 'Oh my god, that's foul... there's congealed food all over this!' she squealed, dropping the offending piece of cutlery to the floor with a clatter.

Gaby looked on in horror as Elliot actually wiped her finger across a plate. 'That's brave of you,' she commented, staring at her own plate. 'D'you want some hand sanitizer?' she added, digging in her bag and then holding it out to Elliot with a smile.

Gaby smiled. 'It sounds a lot like Virginia,' she said, thinking wistfully of the rolling fields surrounding her family house, where she often went riding. 'I'd love to visit you!' she said happily. 'Actually, you've saved me. I was going to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas and Easter this year,' she divulged. Stupid Aunt Lucy, going on holiday. She could have at least offered to take Gaby with her. Honestly, some people.

'So, which subjects are you most looking forward to?' Gaby asked curiously. She had asked most people the same question, but she liked to know because she was nosy. 'I can't wait for the first flying lesson - my father taught me to play Quidditch when I was eight, and I just love it!' she said happily. 'I'm looking forward to DADA and Charms as well,' she added as an afterthought.

As her name was called, Aurora nervously walked up to the stool with the sorting hat. She sat down and put on the sorting hat.

She jumped slightly as a voice whispered in her head, "Ah, another muggleborn. I see that you have many traits that suit any of the houses. But the most strongest is your thirst for knowledge and your desire to succeed in your studies at Hogwarts. Therefore the house that is best for you is RAVENCLAW!"

At the sound of applause, Aurora got up and happily went to the Ravenclaw table. She sat down and sighed in relief. That wasn't so terrible, she thought to herself.

"You think so? Well, thanks for this," she said showing half of the second Chocolate Frog she'd given her. Back home, she was eating from time to time. Now, she missed home. She wouldn't need to stay here and wait for food to come out from nowhere.

From what Gaby said about cooking, magic has its downfalls too she thought. "I love cooking. I've learned it when I was barely 8 years old. That's when my Mum taught me and when she died, I was left for cooking for my Dad and my sister," she said it with no sadness in her face unlike from the train when she's talking about her family, tears left her eyes. She felt happy now, she doesn't want to spoil the moment. She continued, "I love making pastries. I also loved making soups. With that, I think Potions would not be that hard," she laughed.

As she was talking, she noticed a rather familiar face, Aurora! The SWEET Aurora she met at the Food Trolley. She saw her sorted into Ravenclaw and walked down the aisle. Erin waved at her and motioned her to sit right next to her. "Hey, Aurora! Sit here!"She missed her already. She made a space for her.

As she walked over to the Ravenclaw table, she heard her name being called. She looked up and to her delight saw Erin, the girl she had met on at the Food Trolley on the train.


She immediately went to sit by her "Hiya, I can't believe that we're in the same house together." she smiled. "have you met anyone new yet?"

"It was eventful and very delightful." Eino replied with a slight nod. He also shared the same sentiment in regards to Hogwarts. No matter how exciting his summer had been, it was always very strange, and as the years passed more difficult, to not be able to use a wand or magic, so it was nice to be back in school. Plus, seeing his friends was another reason to want to return. Where else did all of his friends meet at the same time? He then looked at Vashti's hand and noticed she was holding a rather strange spoon, and just as he was going to ask her why he noticed that all of the silverware was very... unpleasant. "Dear me! What has is the hen brooding!?" He exclaimed as he picked up a spoon himself and examined it closely.

Eino then head a familiar voice, and looking up he saw none other than Ellie Stone. He was a little hesitant to stand up and hug her, so all he did was mumble "Hello." That, of course, didn't stop her from kissing his head.



Basically. Eino blushed like his cheeks had been Incendioed, and quickly tried to hide them by covering them with his hands, which also helped cool them because his hands still cold. "I-I'm good!" He stuttered a bit, but managed to speak. "How are you? How was your summer?" She probably spent it being Quidditch and being awesome. Duh. What else would she do? "Oh, yeah... the, umm, silverware." He forced a laugh, then cleared his throat. "Possibly." He answer her question with a nod and finally shut his mouth to prevent him from further embarrassing himself.

She answered Aurora's delight the same energy. "I know! I haven't thought at all. It's so good to have you here. Do you have a roommate yet? Let's be roomies. I have a lot to talk to you about. Apparently, I've met quite a people and they've bombarded me with a lot of informations about Hogwarts that I never thought, a big magical CASTLE!" she said it all at once that she nearly ran out of breathe. Then she smiled.

Aurora looks okay but she still wanted to asked before she could even answer the first one, "Do you like it here? You don't looked quite pleased."
