"Nice to meet you," she said, "It's amazing, I didn't really mind, I had hoped slightly for Ravenclaw but didn't know really, what about you?" she asked.

Annabeth smiled at Scott, "You go on and eat!" she said, he was the opposite of herself.

"Yes it is, I'm so glad to see you again!" she said.

Harvey then knew that maybe this friendship would last. "I just wait to start classes, and do wand waving and making potions" Harvey says imagining himself as top of the class. "Were you happy that got sorted into Ravenclaw or were you hoping to be sorted somewhere else?" He questions Annabeth

Lu smiled ''You too!'' then she decided she'd have to eat somtime so she ate some of her dinner and it was gorgous she forgot how nice it was then she took some pumpkin juice

Once she had it she had swollowed she then began to speak ''Did you have a good summer Rache?'' Lu asked

"H-Honestly I was hoping for a-anything but H-Hufflepuff, b-b-because I am not v-very social because of m-my b-background." He said and blushed as he giggled a little.

"I'm also looking forward to Transfiguration." She replied cheerily. "I am also looking forward to flying lessons." Jayden added.

"Oooh. That book sounds interesting. Is there something about unicorns in there? I was shocked when I learnt that they were real!"

Olivia knew that she'd really enjoy reading about magical creatures but she hoped she never had to do any practical work with them. She was nervous around normal animals, apart from cats, so she'd probably be terrified around magical creatures!

Nate was taken aback that nobody answered him (he was popular at his muggle school). Trying not to appear phased by this, he turned toward Pam with an awkward forced smile and said, "So waht did you think of those boats? Personally i thought that was bloody clever." He was very cold having almost fallen inthe lake, and very hungry still, so as he awaited an answer he went back to his constantly full plate.

Faina felt kind of bad, like maybe she would be interrupting something. She also wasn't sure if she was even allowed to be over here. But she did it anyways.

Faina clapped her hands gently over Caelius's eyes. "Guess who!" She whispered in his ear.

"I liked the boats, but I would have rather taken the other way, with the older kids." She smiled back, and started eating some of the food off her plate, happy to finally have something other than candy to eat.

"Jerrod! Oh gosh, Jerrod! Am I glad to see you!" Faina sat down next to him. "I don't know if I am technically supposed to be here. But I don't know any Slytherins!" Faina cried.

Josh was exited he was at Hogwarts, in the Great Hall, and got sorted into the house him parents did. RAVENCLAW!! Walking over to the table, not knowing any of his housemates, he took the nearest open seat and shook hands with the kids around him. "Hello, I'm Josh." He said to them.

"How did the others get up here? I didn't see, I was too distracted by the train--" and the girls, but of course he didn't say that to Pam, "--to notice."

"There are these carriages, that pull themselves. My mom told me about them. They sound really cool." She said, taking a sip of pumpkin juice. "The train is really cool." She said whiping her mouth. "But it was such a long ride. I'm glad to be here at Hogwarts." She said, smiling.

So it would seem he was to be placed in Ravenclaw. Mathias walked towards the table of blue and bronze once the sorting hat made up its mind and looked for an empty seat among the sea of faces. Not that it mattered much to him which house he would be in - he didn't really know much about the four houses of Hogwarts other than his mum was in Hufflepuff and that boy who nearly bit his head off on the train was in Slytherin - so he figured Ravenclaw was as good as any.

Finally finding a vacant spot at his house table, the newly-sorted first year lowered himself on the bench and gazed at the sights around him now that he had a few minutes to catch his breath after the anxiety of sorting. So this was Hogwarts - vast and amazing, full of wonder and... about a million strange faces. Only slightly intimidating.

A low rumble from his stomach reminded him of how hungry he was and temporarily pushed all anxiety from his mind. Mathias really hoped they would be eating soon. He looked down at his empty plate then at the dingy silverware scattered around the table. The young blond gingerly picked up a fork to inspect it before quickly putting it back in the pile. Not only was it tarnished, it was a bit... well, crusty. They weren't expected to eat with those, were they?

"Hi there!" Pam said with a smile. "Congrats on being a ravenclaw!"

"I am too. Have you seen the painting on the ceiling?" He asked, knowing full well it was not a painting but was actually bewitched to look like the outside sky. "It's really well done." He hoped Pam had not yet noticed the ceiling.

Pam looked up. "Merlin's beard! That's so cool!" She tilted her head a little, as she usually does when she's thinking. "That's not a painting." She paused for a few more seconds, then shrugged. "It's really cool though." She figured she'd look at it more later in the year. Right now she was more focused on the food on her plate.

"H-Hello Faina! How a-are you? It is s-so nice to see y-you here." Jerrod said and smiled. She remember me he thought. Jerrod was very happy at the moment, he was sorted and so many was actually friends towards him for a change!

Nate was bemused at how little she looked at the ceiling. Looking for a new conversation piece, he said, "So, what did you think of that Will character? Do you fancy him? I bet you do!" By this point, he was asking simply for the purpose of harassing his friend.

Chelsea looked around the great hall and spotted Temperance. She got up from her seat at the Slytherin table to go say hi.

"Hey Temperance!" Chelsea said. She looked at her drawing of the train which was almost done. "Awesome drawing! I see you got placed in Ravenclaw, Congrats."

Pam blushed slightly. "Just because I meet a guy doesn't mean I fancy him." She nudged Nate in the shoulder. She wanted to poke him, but she was too busy eating. She swallowed before saying, "Besides, I wouldn't start liking a guy when I first meet him. I'd have to get to know him first, make sure he's not a jerk." She smiled. Trying to direct the conversation elsewere, she asked, "You excited for classes?"

Jezabel smiled. "Well, my older brother Keegan was in Gryffindor when he was at Hogwarts, so I wouldn't have minded being in that house. But I love books and stuff, so I don't think it could have been anything other than Ravenclaw! What subjects do you like?"


"Oh, yes!" laughed Jezabel. "They're definitely real! And phoenixes, and hippogriffs, and chimaeras, and dragons ... My brother Jolon works with magical creatures at the Ministry of Magic - have you heard about it? It's amazing! I can't wait to learn about magical creatures! I've got this kitten ..." Jezabel looked a bit wistful. "Rowena. She's black, but she's covered in small blue spots because she fell in a potion when she was little. I'm still not sure what the side effects are, other than the blue spots of course. I hated leaving the poor little thing with our trunks - she absolutely hates her cage!" Jezabel stopped, blushing, realising she was going off on a tangent again. "Sorry. Do you have a pet?"


Jezabel smiled at the boy. He seemed nice enough. "Hi, Josh, I'm Jezabel. Welcome to Ravenclaw!" She tapped her wand on the table, and little blue sparks shot out of the end. She stared at it in amazement and delight. "I did it! I did it! I didn't make anything catch on fire!"


Jezabel smiled as the boy inspected the cutlery. "Used to finery?" she asked sympathetically. "My brother Keegan told me the plates were made of gold!" She made a small noise of disbelief, gesturing at the plates, "Figure A." She blushed. "Sorry, I sound so stuck-up! I'm Jezabel Black, what's your name?"

Shannon had been in search for Beezus since he had gotten on the train bound for Hogwarts. Although, he had gotten distracted with the scenery outside the windows once he was on the train he had kind of forgotten that he was looking for Beezus to begin with. He wasn't for sure where she was likely to be, so he was just roaming past the Ravenclaw table, keeping an eye out for her. He was proud of Beezus for getting into Ravenclaw, even though he didn't know the young girl well. Shannon felt protective over Beezus, part of her reminded him of his little sister Cella, and he was extremely overprotective of her.

Finally, spotting Beezus, Shannon sat down beside her and watched as some kid began crying and Beezus was trying to apologize for whatever had happened prior to Shannon taking his place at the table.

There was a brief silence, so Shannon decided to talk finally. "Hey Beezus." He greeted with a half smile. "I was looking for you, wanted to congratulate you on getting into Ravenclaw." He told her with a proud beaming smile across his face.

"Wow. So many different creatures." Olivia's eyes nearly popped out of her head at the mention of dragons. "Dragons? Like the ones you find in stories? Was St George a wizard? That might explain some stories I've heard!" St George and the dragon had always come up at some point during assembly at school in the days leading up to St George's day and there was a parade she attended with the Brownies once a year.

"There's a Ministry of Magic?" she asked. It did make sense that wizards had their own government type thing so it didn't really surprise her too much.

"Nope, no pets. Honestly I'm kinda nervous around most animals. Apart from cats, but I'm not allowed one because my little sister is severely allergic."
