"I'm not that hungry actually!" Annabeth told Harvey, "Percy is though! Yes he's in the owlery, probably eating anthing he can find knowing him!" she said laughing.

Annabeth noticed somebody else at the table, "hello, I'm Annabeth, what's your name?" she asked.

Annabeth smiled, "I am most looking forward to Transfiguration, I think, it sounds really hard but interesting, how about you?" she asked. She wasn't at all hungry.

"Mmmm, really?" Harvey says wishing he had read about these lessons before coming here "Maybe I will try those then"




"Oh I thought you might be, but it doesn't seem like it" Harvey says chuckling "Maybe Mr Frost will also be there and they can hang out, I can imagine them now hooting away in deep conversation"

Presley shrugged. "I never see Rachel anymore." Honestly, she kind of felt like Rachel was purposely avoiding her, but she had no idea why.

"That's cool! I think you're like the third person I've met here that has two magical parents. It's awesome. So, be honest, were you hoping for Ravenclaw, or somewhere else?" Everyone was hoping for something. Not a single person walked up to the sorting hat saying "put me wherever and I'll be happiest!" No, everyone had some idea of where they wanted to g, whether they got that or not.

Elizabeth couldn't believe it she was now officially a Ravenclaw, shoe couldn't contain her excitement. Looking up and down the table she realised she didn't actually know anyone, hopefully that would soon change.

Aurora blushed, "Thanks. She does? What is St. Mungos? I'm a muggleborn so I don't know much about the wizarding world."


Aurora replied, "Thanks, My mum had an obsession with Roman Mythology hence the name. Yours is a great name too--were you born in Indiana or your parents just liked the name?"

She didn't know if she'd call Rachel her best friend or not anymore but it was mean not to and there is a few things Luna Kieren is not Dumb or Mean even to the people that maybe dissliked her and she might have gone to far with sarcasm one time... Nah she would defently still call Rache a best friend after all they'd been threw

''Anyway do you want a party I mean one like Rachel's and mine but i'll send the invites sooner if you want?'' Luna asked she really wanted Presley to have the best birthday ever!

"Nope!" annabeth said, "I could imagine that!" Annabeth said laughing and nearly falling over, she seemed to be very clumsy today, "Sorry," sae said getting back up, and turning bright red.

Jezabel smiled at Annabeth. "I'm Jezabel." She gestured at the students up and down the long table. "Isn't Ravenclaw great?" she enthused. "So friendly! I'm so glad I didn't get put in Slytherin like the rest of my family!" She made a face. "Did you want to be in Ravenclaw, or did you have another house in mind?"


"Oh, yes, I"m sure they'll be great!" said Jezabel. "I could lend you a book on Arithmancy or Care of Magical Creature if you like? I stocked up on extra curricular reading at Flourish and Blots. Do you think you'll try out for Quidditch?"


"Hi!" said Jezabel warmly to the new girl. "I'm Jezabel. What's your name?"

"I think it's brilliant." Olivia grinned, feeling happier than she had done in a long time. "I can't wait until we start lessons, there's so much to learn and it's going to be amazing!"

She didn't know whether it was because she was where she belonged for the first time in her life, or whether it was a result of all the sweets she had eaten on the train or the wonderful food she'd had for dinner, or even the company she had at the table but she could feel her shyness melting away by the second. It was brilliant!

"I'm going to have to stay up late reading tonight. I still haven't had time to read any of my school books and I want to at least know something before lessons start."

"St.Mungo's is a hospital, in the wizarding world...that's where we go for injuris and maladies." Jayden responded. "Oooh a muggleborn. Perhaps we can learn from one another, since I am pureblood, and don't know much about the muggle world."

Aurora glanced up and saw another little girl, she smiled at her and said "Hi, I'm Aurora. what is your name?"

Aurora nodded, "So you do have a special hospital huh? That sounds interesting. I had never thought of the fact that wizards and witches do need medical help sometimes. I thought that it could be taken care of by magic. Yeah, I'm muggleborn and sure--I'm positive that we'll learn a lot from each other.

Harvey was happy that he made her laugh, and went to catch when she almost fell over. Now that made him laugh.
"Hey don't be" says Harvey watching Annabeth go bright red "Well I wonder when they are going to serve the food and get rid of these dirty dishes" says Harvey looking over to the staff table to see if there were any clue as to when they would serve the food.

Rachel was sat quite a way from Luna and Persley, she didn't know why, but she hadn't seen them for ages, she got up and sat with them, "Hello," she said sheepishly, "I haven't seen you for ages Presley!" she said, "How do I keep missing you?"

"Oh yeah, I've been meaning to give you this for ages," she said, pulling out a parcel form her pocket, "happy Birthday!" she said.

"hey Luna, how are you?" she asked, she wasn't sure if she just kept missing them where ever she went or they were avoiding her.

"Yup!" Jayden stated proudly. "I'm so excited for classes! Which one's are you looking forward to?"

At last, FOOD.
Scott replied to all the questions being asked with: "Sorry, I'm so hungry"
He'd answer them afterwards.

Annabeth was still bright red and stayed it for a while, "Oops!" she said giggling, Harvey always made her laugh, and she always mad a fool of herself in frount of him, "They might say something soon, hopefully!" she said also looking at the staff table.

Jezabel noticed with delight that Olivia seemed more relaxed now. She smiled at her. "Join the club - I stay up all night sometimes, just reading my brother's old schoolbooks! I can lend you a book on Care of Magical Creatures if you like - it's a fascinating subject, especially if you're new to magic!"
She could tell that they'd be good friends. Call it a book-lover's intuition.

''S'up Rache'' Luna smiled

Gaby noticed a girl - who looked just as excited, or if not more, as Gaby herself was - and gave her broad smile. 'Excited for Ravenclaw, then?' she asked happily. 'I am! It sounds like such a great house,' she continued. Everything she had read in Hogwarts; A History backed up her statement. Plus, Luna Lovegood had been a Ravenclaw, so they had to be awesome. It was just... a fact. And Gaby herself was in Ravenclaw, along with Elliot and Caelius, something that just made it even more awesome. No she did not have an overly high opinion of herself, thank you very much.

'I'm Gaby, by the way,' she added helpfully. She figured that introducing herself would be a good idea, if she wanted to make friends with this girl - which she did. 'What's your name? Are you a First Year? I am! I'm so excited to finally be at Hogwarts!' she said, rambling on rather enthusiastically in her Southern drawl. She took a pause, waiting for the other girl to speak.

'It would indeed - not to mention I would deprive y'all of my delightful presence,' Gaby joked, using one of the words he had used to describe her earlier. Caelius was fun to talk to, she thought. An easy person to have a joke with. 'Speaking of the ghosts, though, where are they?' she mused. 'I haven't seen any yet; there are supposed to be loads...'

Ah, brilliant. Gaby had made a friend who loved Quidditch, just like she did. 'Perhaps we should try out for the team together,' she said happily. 'That is, if they let First Years try out...' she added thoughtfully. Oooh, Transfiguration. Gaby had forgotten about that. 'Transfiguration sounds amazing too, but I'm not all too sure about Ancient Runes,' she told him. 'I'm awful at math, you see, so I'd just mess it all up completely,' she said, giggling. Math was definitely not her strong point. 'Not really, no,' she said thoughtfully. 'Being an Auror would be great, though. Or Minister for Magic... what about you, have you thought about it?'

Aurora 'Orr' thought about it for a little bit, "Well--I'm looking forward to Defense Against the Dark Arts because I didn't even know that there is such a thing as Dark Arts and that we might need to defend ourselves and um I think also Transfiguration because it just sounds so exciting."

Indiana was a place? Really? Indiana stared at her new friend. She actually had no idea that that was a place. Indy wasn't very good at geography, maybe she should get Conan to teach her, considering that he was offering to teach her about muggle sstuff. "It's a place? I didn't know that..." She pondered with a smile. That was pretty cool, but she wasn't named after a place. "But now...my parents just named me Indy. I thought it was a bit random really. But my brother's called Spike...so."

Ooh. There was another girl that was talking to her. yey. she was happy. She was going to have so many friends here. She just hoped that they woudln't laugh at her when they found out she had brought her teddies with her to school. Her mother had tried to make her now take them all, but she needed them. just incase she hadn't made any friends. "I know! My brother has told me all about it!" So she as SO glad that she was in Ravenclaw. It was so cool. She couldn't wait up to get up to the tower. It sounded really cool. "We're gonna live in a tower! It sounds like so much fun." Well. Unless you were scared of heights.

"I'm Indiana, but you can call me Indy." She nodded with a smile, as she tried to not look at the cutlery. It was really not very clean, but she didn't know any magic yet. So she couldn't make it clean. Was there a spell to make things clean? She clearly hoped so, or they would have dirty stuff to eat off. "I am too. It's all so exciting! Yes I'm a first year." She nodded with a big smile.

Annabeth smiled, phew, they are talking to me "Nothing much, how are you?" she asked, it felt nice to see her again.

''Okay!'' Luna replied ''It's great to be back isn't it!!!!!''

Aurora nodded and replied, "Oh. well you never know how parents come up with names for their kids. My name is originally from Roman Mythology. Go figure huh? But yeah, there is a state in North America called Indiana as well so I just thought that maybe you were from there. I'm guessing that you're a pure-blood right? Well I'm muggleborn."

Jezabel tapped the girl who'd spoken on the shoulder. "Sorry, I couldn't help overhearing you say something about being an Auror? My brother's one, and he says it's a job for someone who's willing to sacrifice they're life - literally." Jezabel's tone was grave, but her eyes betrayed a mischievous sparkle. "I'm just wondering who would be willing to go that far? A pretty big commitment, to say the least."
