"Fine. Out. The both of you. Be happy I don't make you clean my dungeons." She said shooing them off. She was going to speak to that Hadley woman!

She leaned out the door and said "NEXT! You come in."

Alright, if she thought she was nervous before, she was in a puddle of nerves now.

Slowly turning her head towards Marilyn, Evelyn didn't particularly know whether she wanted her Slytherin classmate to agree or disagree. And for some reason, she couldn't think of reasons why she'd want the girl to agree or disagree! However, it seemed that Marilyn....had...

Agreed.

Quietly letting out the breath she was holding in, she nodded somewhat and started towards the door. Merllliiiiiiiiin.... "Thank you, Professor Lafay." Out the door! Before the potions professor changed her mind would be even better.

Charles was just about to head back figuring the professor was out and he didn't want to look like a fool by standing out here for no reason. When the door opened he stepped back slightly and nodded at the woman yelling.

He followed her inside and closed the door behind him before turning around to face her. "Hello. You're the Slytherin Head of House right?" he asked doing his best to not seem nervous.

She narrowed her eyes at the boy. "Yes." She answered waiting to see where this was going... "I am the Slytherin Head of House. And you are..." she looked at his tie, "... a Ravenclaw." She walked behind her desk and sat. "What is your name?"

Oh goody she could tell the difference in House colours. Being smart though Charles simply kept his mouth closed. Wouldn't do to be smart to a Head of House here. "My name is Charles." Looking around he found a seat and sat down without asking in front of her desk. "I want...no I NEED to switch houses. Those goody two-shoes up in the tower are driving me nuts. I don't belong there. I belong down here..." Stupid sorting hat. Obviously it didn't know a thing to have him sorted up there with all those idiots.

"Look, Charles." she said raising an eyebrow, "You were sorted. You deal with the had you've been dealt." She looked at the boy. Weird kid.

What? NO! He refused to believe that he was stuck. "But it was wrong!" He didn't belong with those book nerds. He HATED studying, reading, doing homework. Charles leaned forward and looked at the professor, "There has to be a way to over rule it. I don't fit in there." HAD to be a way.

"Do not raise your voice in my presence." She said calmly, "I'm beginning to think you should have been placed in Gryffindor instead... you don't seem very smart at all." She said to him.

UGH the woman was being so...DIFFICULT. It was simple he just needed to have his house switched. It seemed simple to him so why wasn't it simple to her. He leaned back in the chair casually and eyed her. Hmm.

"Okay...so there's nothing you can do?" he said calmly as he looked around her office. "I'm stuck with the goody goody Ravies?"

Was this boy serious? "Look. Kid. Would you rather be a The Baddest Fish in a pond of guppies? Or just another shark?" She said shrugging. "I'd rather be one of a kind..."

"Charles," he said automatically to her kid. He HATED being called kid. Hmmmm. The lady did have a point about that. He could be big cheese Ravie without having to turn into one of them. A smirk coming to his face he stood up and nodded. "Merlin help the poor guppies..." he said cheekily and gave the Professor a nod. "Thank you for giving me some...perspective..." And now to go find out if Aspen wanted to help him with a few things.

"I'll see you in Potions, Professor." He said as he headed toward the door and took his leave. Now where would that girl be....

"Good..." She said, and followed him to the door. "Just don't break any rules..." She added.

"Next. Come on in you two." She said to the students.

After permitted by Professor Lafay, Raven entered the office. Maybe it was a silly question, but... she actually really need that.

"Eng.. Professor." said Raven a little bit confused. "Do you know any potions that can prevent me from... kneazle and cat allergic?" asked her. She wasn't sure that Professor Lafay had it. At least, she knew that.

Hecate returned to her desk and sat down. "There are many, but you need to find the one that is right for you," She said shrugging and leaning in her chair. "That can only be determined by the healer. She's on the third floor." She wrote a note on some parchment and filed it away, "Anything else?"

Healer? Oh no... Raven hated Healer

"No.." said her short. "Thank you, Professor." Then she left the office.

Oh, it was her turn!

Destiny BEAMED as she heard that she could enter the office, but before she could even go in, the person who was out in the corridor with her was leaving. Huh?

Either whatever the girl needed to talk to Lafay about was something small, or Lafay was in a bad mood. She was actually hoping for the latter in this case. She knew the Professor could never be angry, upset or whatever else she usually felt while she was in her presence.

So, smile still in place, Destiny entered the office with a small skip in her step, only stopping when she reached the woman's desk. She didn't sit yet, she would wait for her to say she could.

"Hello, Professor! I neeeed to talk to you!"

"Yes Miss Shepard, what is it you require." She said walking back to her desk and sitting in her chair.

Right.

Destiny had almost forgot what she needed to talk to Lafay about. Or..not really talk, like the Professor had said, she required something. Well, she actually required a few things, but they would get to that part later. She had other Professor's to go bother for the other things.

"Well, you see.." she began, fumbling with the piece of parchment in her pocket before pulling it out completely. "I'm going to need Snidget feathers. Alot of them."

Just like Lafay, Destiny was right to the point.

"Alright... in the cupboard over there." Destiny was one of the better potioneers after all... If the girl wanted an ingredient, it was hers. "What are you brewing, Shepard?" She asked curiously.

Destiny waited for the wrath that was of Lafay because she asked for those feathers. She probably would have been better going to the Care of Magical Creatures Professor for them, but hearing her Head of House speak, that thought quickly disappeared. She was giving them to her?

Just like that!?

She was worried for nothing. Smiling, she turned towards the cupboard and was just about to head over to it, but THAT question had her stopping in her tracks. What was she brewing? "Err.." Slowly, she turned back to face Lafay. Maybe she should lie? But Destiny was sure the woman was a walking lie detector, she wouldn't be fooled. And at the moment, she couldn't even think of a potion she could brew that needed those feathers. It was better to just tell the truth. "Well, you see..I'm not brewing anything." Except a scheme to help the Slytherin's win the Quidditch Cup! But that, she would most definitely not say. "I'm making a kite!"

And turning the parchment over in her hands, she held it up to her face. "A Snidget kite!"

Hecate frowned. That was a tad disappointing but, a kite? Why was she creating a kite... and with snidget feathers? She'd already allowed her into the cupboard...

"Very well," she said opening and looking in her drawer at something that sparkled green, "I'm feeling generous today. But take what you need now, I'm not giving you more later." And she slammed her drawer shut.

Oh no!

She had caused Lafay to FROWN. Destiny didn't know whether to be pleased with herself, or scared for her life. She had never seen the woman do that before, and in the end, she chose to be scared. Especially after the whole 'very well' comment, and the opening of the drawer was enough to scare the Bertie Bott's out of her right then.

Destiny leaned forward to try and see what Lafay was going to pull out; her wand?, some sort of potion?, a SNOWBALL!? There had been a few snow related incidents recently, but whatever it was, she needn't worry about it. She was still allowed to get the feathers!

Only jumping a little at the sound of the drawer slamming shut, she smiled at Lafay before making her way over to the cupboard. "Thank you, Professor Lafay! I promise not to take all of the feathers. And I promise to make the best looking Snidget kite you will ever see!" She just needed to figure out how to make s Snidget kite first.

Once she reached the cupboard, Destiny held open her pocket before stuffing a the feathers inside.

"Shepard. I want to see this Snidget kite." She said shaking her head at the girl's excitedness. "Go... Before I change my mind." She said.

Pocketful of Snidget feathers and a smile on her face, Destiny turned around quickly when Lafay said she wanted to see the kite. Did that mean..were they going to go flying kites together? How awesome would that be!? She could just imagine what kind of kite she would have..something horrifying, no doubt.

Something like..a piece of broccoli.

Nodding her head, already thinking of asking Professor Bentley for grass to help Lafay make the broccoli kite, Destiny closed the cupboard and made her way towards the door. "As soon as I am finished, I'll be back!" She could just imagine the excitement filling Lafay with that comment.

With a salute in the woman's direction, she skipped her way out of the office and headed straight towards the Common Room. Now..where could she find some muggle glue?

Hecate watched her leave...

... weird one that one was.

She peeked out of her door and said "You lot, in. Now."
