He felt a little tug while he was looking through the lens and found Beezus grabbing it from his grip and adjusted the thing. “Yes, of course. The expert touch.” He said as he backed away and watched her adjust the telescope.

“You can be such a show—“ his sentence was cut when Beezus shoved him to look at the telescope once more. “..off.” he said softly as he took in the phenomenon that was happening before his eye. It wasn’t every night you’d see shooting stars with a high-precision telescope. This was brilliant. Too brilliant to even miss. “Hey!” he pulled up and grabbed Beezus' arm and pulled her toward the telescope. “You’ll miss it!” he said as he moved away from the telescope, then looked up and saw that there were hundreds of them ‘shooting’ against the night sky, happening in one single night.

“Thanks for this.” he said softly as he kept his eyes fixed on the sky and the meteor shower. “I definitely can make countless birthday wishes with this.” He added.

Oh, so she really had to go. She looked at her as she busied herself with getting her stuff. "Alright then." She told her. It was after all, getting really late and Zara might not actually like the darkness unlike her. She folded her legs carefully and leaned on the wall as Zara stood up.

"Yeah, guess so." She said, shrugging. Now, she would really have the opportunity to start her emoting session. "Nice talking to you wanna be mind-reader." Complimentary, of course. "See you around." And she smiled at her new friend. Yeah, a new friend. That was so nice to know. She found a friend under the stars.

She smiled a little as she heard Mordred's sentence being caught up in the air for a second while he looked into the telescope's lens. A sight like that would really make your tongue tied at times.

She looked up at the sky. There's still hundreds of them, as always. She said in her mind. Then suddenly, the second year grabbed her arm and pulled her towards the telescope, she followed obediently without any word. As Beezus looked into the telescope's lens, she once again saw magnified images of the thousand meteors that were falling from the sky. Those are such magnificent celestial bodies.. And its intense glow made the night sky a sight worth a thousand words.

Yes, thousands and thousands of words.
Without her knowing, Beatrice's mind had already drifted back to that day, when she first saw that meteor shower. That day, almost seven years ago. “Mum, where are you going?” Beezus asked, her heart racing as she watched her mother sprint to the door and hurriedly put on her coat with a much shaken expression. Beatrix approached her, grasped her shoulders and looked into her eyes. “I’ll just be fetching Daddy from work.” Her mother brushed the hair off her face. “Take care of Bambi, okay?” “Yes.” She responded. Beezus walked her mother outside and waited until she had left. A few minutes after did the same meteor shower occurred. She of course, took it as a good sign. But turns out she was wrong. Because before the phenomenon ended, her mother called home and admitted the sad truth that her father died in the Hospital fire.

Her thoughts were brought back to reality as she heard Mordred thank her. She swallowed hard and bit her lower lip. Darn, tears were about to fall. "Sure.." She answered, still facing the telescope. "Happy Birthday in advance...then." And she shut her eyes forcedly. Darn it. She needed to hold back those tears.

Witsy spent the whole day practicing her potronus and couldn't figure it out. She thought maybe it was the energy around her that was affecting her concentration. She walked everywhere. The gardens, the courtyard, the library... wrong place, the girl's dormitory, the quidditch pitch... everywhere. She realized it definitely wasn't the energy.

She mindlessly walked to the observatory hoping improvement would happen. Witsy spotted a student from her DADA class and walked up to her. "Hi. Excuse me, but you were the one that produced a potronus in class, right? Would you mind helping me?"

The meteor shower was magnificent indeed. Maybe he should ask his parents to give him fireworks display on his 13th birthday next year. Yeah, that will be awesome. He imagined dozens and dozens of fireworks exploding in the air and shower his visitors with an awesome pyrotechnic performance. Yeah, his cousins will definitely envy him.

His thoughts were broken when Beezus greeted him. “My birthday’s on December. That’ll be 9 months from now. Way too advanced, but thanks.” He said as he turned his gaze to Beezus’ back. “You okay? You seem silent.” He said as he eyed her. He can’t see her face clearly but something was wrong, he can sense it. Well, she was the one who wanted to see this meteor shower, right? It seems she wasn't enjoying it.

"Same to you," and with those two words having been sent, silence ensued as only the two girls' silent breathing and Zara's footsteps were heard. With one last look at the girl sitting on the floor being illuminated by the bright moon, Zara smiled and left.

'It was nice meeting you. Friend.' She thought as she took her first few steps away from the observatory, bringing with her memories of the past she remembered from the moon and new memories shared with a new friend, Beezus.

December? Well, yes. Nine months from now. "Err--sorry." Did she really need to apologize? Oh, well..already been said. Though she made it a point to mentally remember her friend's birthday.

She swallowed very hard as Mordred seemed to notice her silence and rather somber change of mood. You can do this Beezus, a voice inside her head asserted. With a small smile glued on her lips, she faced him. "Of course I'm okay. I just needed to rest my throat a bit." Yup. Never better. But in reality, she badly wanted to run away from that place now, probably lock herself in the Dormitory and curse all she could for the miseries she was still entangled upon.

Minerva crossed her arms around her. "Well I just don't believe you could have been a mean person."

Leaning against one of the open windows and with a wrapped box at her feet, Kurumi sighed nervously as she waited for him to show up. It had taken her several tries to get things right, especially since Kurumi had never worked with ice cream before in this way and had actually turning the Transfiguration room into a temporary freezer during the process. It probably hadn't been the smartest of things to read in a freezing room and the prefect had begun to sniffle a bit.

"AAAAAAAAAAACHOOOOOOOOO!" She sniffled a bit more and used her sleeve to wipe her noes a bit when she saw her pocket was glowing again. Truth be told, she really wasn't surprised that the egg was glowing after being in such a cold environment for so long. "Oh, right, sorry Aristotle," she said as she removed the egg from her pocket and gasped. Her egg wasn't silver anymore...but a deep purple color. "Holy pumpkin juice!"

Kurumi fumbled with her robes a bit looking for her wand. Swish. "Argentum." Tap. "Calidus." Swish. "Argentum." Tap. "Calidus." Swish. "Argentum." Tap. "Calidus." Kurumi performed the spell several times until the glowing stopped. It was still glowing yellowish, but the metal had turned purple. Sort of...like her. Smiling a bit, Kurumi rubbed the egg as the glowing stopped. Just to be safe, Kurumi twirled her wand, "Argentum," and then pointed, "Humidus." There, now all that sudden heating shouldn't have dried the poor thing out. It's color was now back to being silver and Kurumi found her shoulders relax a bit. Thank goodness.

Kurumi continued to stand there, elbows resting on the windowpane and looking out at the sky that was beginning to become spotted with stars. Hey...was that Canis Major?

Minerva stomped up to the observatory she wasn't even sure why she came up there. She was just so frustrated. She threw her bag and had her wand in hand. She pointed her wand "Avis" nothing. She knew it was a harder spell, but she just wanted to try it.. She shrugged and plopped to the ground.

Harvey walked upto the Observatory for a bit of relaxation and watching the stars. When he got there he saw the familiar figure that had always come here when she was a little tense. He instantly knew something must have happened as she was in a heap on the floor. So he went up to her "Mins!! Are you ok? What happened?" he asked now really concerned What is happening to her? Something has happened and I WANT to KNOW!! he thought as he frowned.

Tiffany just wanted to calm herself down and kept herself away from the busy life she was having, just for a while. And that's why she came here, to look for stars and space, just to give her a sense of relief.

She decided to take a seat randomly as she noticed Beatrice sitting somewhere at the back with her friend. Waving at her, she whispered,"Sissy, mind if I join you there?"

Minerva was so deep in thought she didn't see Harvey has he came up to her. When he spoke she jumped wand in hand she pointed it at him "AVI" she stopped in the middle and lowered her wand. "Oh I'm so sorry Harvey."

Harvey jumped a mile as she pointed her wand and was almost about to cast a spell on him "Its ok. You seem tense, You know how much I hate seeing you like this so now tell me what has happened that has you this upset?" he asked her as he put his hands on her shoulders.

Dashi curled at her feet shaking from Minerva pulling her wand. "Dashi it's ok come here little kitty." It's just all the drams. I'm just tired of it. The roller coaster of friends first Rose, who I haven't seen since the fight so I'm assuming she is avoiding me, Violet has been missing for awhile, I haven't seen Lillian in awhile, and now Alyssa. Then I feel like William is so up and down with me.

Harvey smiled as he saw that Minnie had a cute little friend with her "Cute Kitty. seems to love you." he said but he was now very concerned "Havent you had enough dramas already that you have to put up with it all again. You are human you can only put up with so much. Ok lemme see, Rose, even I havent seen her, probably busy. No news on Violet either. What about Alyssa? William?" Harvey was shocked at hearing his name in this conversation "What has HE done now?" he asked now getting more upset with William "Him and me had an understanding that he was supposed to keep you happy! so I WANT to know what he has done." he asked, not happy with the way people were treating Minnie.

Minerva rolled her eyes. "Not you too Calm down he hasn't done a thing. He just gets so sensitive sometimes. I was talking to Justin and Ame about Alyssa, she is leaving Hogwarts. Since I had William just stay where we were he felt that I was leaving him out of my life. Like I said just gets to sensitive and offended easily. So he didn't do anything." Minerva smiled at Dashi, "You remember Dashi it's Ame's kitten. While we were talking about Alyssa she got very ill and fell. Justin was taking her to the hospital so I'm taking care of Dashi."

Harvey looked down and calmed himself down and then looked back at Minnie "I am sorry for that. What? she is leaving? why? ok... ok. Oh yes Ame's kitten. Heyya Dashi, how is Minnie treating you? not bad I hope." he then leaned towards Dashi, and chuckled "If Minnie here gives you a hard time, you just lemme know ok?" he said winking at the little kitten. "I hope Ame gets better for the both of you" he said looking at the kitten and then Minnie. Man I have to talk to William again!! when will he learn Minnie loves him and he cant just get sensative over her friends like this. He will lose her if he does. He'd better be careful. he thought

Minerva gave him an irritated smile. She was not in the mood for jokes right now. She closed her eyes. "Sorry for the wand thing earlier, you had nothing to worry about it was a fifth year spell I was trying and even if it would have worked it wouldn't have hurt you."

Harvey saw that Minnie was not amused with his joke "Sorry." he said as he didnt know what to do for her "Its ok, I wouldnt care even it did. Wait! fifth year? but that is ages away!" he said shocked Argh the pain! people dont realise that when Minnie hurts so do I, and I am hurting right now! How can I make her feel better he thought "Mins are you going to be ok? I may be a wizard but I am feeling very powerless right now" he said as he looked at her

"I'll be fine. I'm just tired of all the craziness that's all. I'm ready for summer to get away from all the work and stress."

She was still trying her hardest to control her emotions when suddenly a rather familiar voice talked. She looked around to see who it was. It was Tiffany, one of her friends from Gryffindor and someone who was fond of calling her sissy.

Errmm..join them? Beezus looked at Mordred who seemed a little preoccupied at the view he was staring at. She turned to Tifanny, "I suppose.." She said, shrugging.

Harvey smiled weakly "I know what you mean. I really want to stay here but even I feel that I need to get away from stress, but then I would be away from my friends, that is the sad part. Anyways what does my lovely bookwo... I mean my lovely friend feel like doing? your wish is my command." he said smiling weakly

"Honestly just sitting here at our spot sounds like a great idea right now." Minerva said smiling. She put her head on his shoulder so happy for him to be her best friend right now.

Harvey smiled "Ok, as you wish, it IS lovely just to be sitting here. I dont mind what we do as long as we are together" he said smiling as she put her head on his shoulder, he thought about what she said about this being THEIR spot. She said this was OUR spot, that means that she hasnt been here with William yet. Oh! ok he thought as looked at her sitting there, he wanted to divert her mind else where "So how many competitions will you be attending? do you know?" he asked her hoping to distract her from all the things at the moment.

Minerva let out a small grown. "I am starting to get so nervous with that. I haven't started training I am never going to be ready. I will have about 3 competitions a week. We will be traveling all over so it will be crazy. The best thing is it goes only until the end of July so I will have some time to relax before term begins again."
