Selina sadly moved away from the food table where she was currently positioned. She stepped out into the mass of students that had collected in the middle of the room and listened as the Professor spoke about Muggle dances. Dancing again? Hadn't they already done that in another class? How could she forget? Selina was basically only good for falling or tripping up her partner.

Then she asked for a Wizard dance and Selina rose her hand, "That Chimaera Cha-Cha is one ma'am."

Cael raised his hand hesitantly, "Er, there's the Banshee Boogie, Professor," Cael called out after the others had given their suggestions.

The Banshee Boogie had featured in many of Cael's nightmares. It was a favorite of Marcus's when he'd had a bit too much firewhiskey. The man had preferred to showcase that particular dance sans pants at one of their winter solstice parties. He shuddered at the memory.

Brooklyn glanced about the room, seemingly distracted, as usual. But as he eyes refocused and head snapped back to the front, she found that the room was moving and everyone around her was getting up. WHOOPS. The girl shot up, eyes on everyone else, trying to figure out where they were going. But then, the stopped? They were standing on something. Her eyes wandered down to the floor- DOTS. Quickly, she hopped on one with a grin.

Okay, now what were they doing? Naming dances? Meh. Brooklyn was not a dancer. Good Merlin. Hm. Wizard dances. Slowly, the girls hand raised. "Professor, what about the Werewolf Wriggle?" That was a fun one. She liked any type that involved less footwork and more twisting.

To be honest Josh had not idea about neither muggle nor wizarding dance moves however those wizarding dance moves people had been mentioning were just...

BWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAA!!!

''Seriously?'' he said to the class in general with an expression of disbelief. And Unicorn Hop? ''How can one know how unicorns hop? Those horned horses do not exist.''

But...the move Kurumi had mentioned 'Mooncalf Walk' perhaps was the only one sounded good enough to be dance move as he could remember them dance under the moonlight during a Care of Magical Creatures class. Of course, if someone wanted to look hilarious, they could dance the mooncalf walk.

HAHAHAHAH

Finally, class was starting. Getting up from his spot, he strolled over to a dot on the floor after taking off his outer robe and placing it orderly on the chair. Dancing could get warm, to say the least. He walked over and chose a Ravenclaw blue dot on the floor, contrasting it with the red converse he was wearing. Nice color pair, I ought to try that some time. he thought, alluding to his hair, maybe his eyes (if he wanted to freak somebody out).

Wizarding dances? Yeah, being muggle born had its disadvantages. Nate had never read a book on wizarding dances; it had never occurred to him. He remained silent as the class threw out answers that Nate felt like he could have made up. Then he just popped something off the top of his head. "The Grindylow Glide," he said confidently, to give the illusion that he knew what he was talking about.

Minerva got up from her seat and quickly went to the spot on the floor the professor told them to go. Wizard Dances... Hmmm Wizard Dances. Her mom never mentioned any dances so she was not sure. The ones the other students were saying sounded interesting maybe she could learn those some day.

Victoria immediately stood over a pretty dot near where she was standing. She can tell that this dot must have something to do with the dance steps. Hopefully, the dance moves doesn't have to be as crazy as she feared it would. Victoria aren't too open up about dancing in front of people.

Victoria's even nervous doing wizard dances...

"The Dragon Dance." Replied Victoria. "You know, a person with a partner are required to do this dance." Victoria loved doing the Dragon Dance, despite how silly she looked when she did it with her friends. She promised herself that she will never do it again in public. Ever.

Kennedy made his way to the dotted floor. He couldn't believe that the Wizarding world had dances with actual names. Wasn't that a muggle thing? Eh. Then he remembered something. Bianca, his cousin, had told him about a dance she had danced when she was at Hogwarts. At first, he didn't believe her, since every word that came out of her mouth was just so random and weird, but this...this had to be true.

Kennedy raised his hand with a semi-nervous expression on his face. "T-There's the um, the Clabbert Waggle." Yeah, he wasn't going to demonstrate how that was done. According to Bianca you waggle your shoulders, then your hips and then both at the same time.

Oooooh, they were starting...and Marilyn couldn't be happier. The atmosphere in the room felt like it was suffocating her.

Types of dances...

Raising her hand, "The Veelan Shake."

Well, it was more so for battles...but had been adapted nicely.

Wizard dances? This was going to be tough. Ariana hadn't ever been to a dance, wizard or muggle, so she wouldn't be very well off in this class... still, it was class, even if (in her mind) the subject was somewhat ridiculous this time round.

Ariana did remember the name of one dance that she had come accross in her reading. She couldn't remember what book, since she read so many, but she did remember the name of the dance, it was so funny. She tentatively raised her hand.

"Um, there's... the Quintaped Quiver..."

Yeah, it was a pretty stupid dance.

Wizard dances.....oooh dear. Ronnie couldn't think of any that any other students hadn't said. She sighed and looked around nervously. That didn't do anything, really....

She decided to keep quiet, since she couldn't think of any that hadn't been said already.

Wist was wondering if there was one that hadn't already be said. "The Badger trot?" She snickered when the boy laughed at the Unicorn Hop. Come to think of it, it was kind of funny to imagine a horse or unicorn hopping.

Louisa listened, unimpressed, by the introduction to muggles types of dances. She knew a lot of them, her previous muggle school held several parties and she attended so.

Once ordered, Louisa got up and headed for one of the dots on the floor and stood still. She felt like she was in a gym rather than a classroom, the mirrors reflecting her from all sides.

Raising her hand, she answered, "Veelas Swifty dance." Totally a real one. And a ridiculous one at that.

Although the class was slightly different this time around Adam dd have one idea up in my mind that he was sure not many people in class knew about.He was quite excited about his own answer which seemed sad to him.

"Well,there's this thing called a Vals(z).It's danced with a partner,basically an escort an a girl,at the age of 15.It's Mexican-its called a Quincenera,the ceremony-it's a very traditional dance during the ceremony.It's basically a Waltz but more hispanic inspired"

Mia raced over and stood on a spot on the floor, making sure to save the spot beside her for Destiny, whenever the girl decided to get up off her bum and head over here.

She raised her hand in the air to answer the Professor's question when a Gryffindor just a little away from her spoke up and Mia lowered her hand and turned to him.

"Pssst...we're supposed to be naming wizard dances. What you just named is a muggle one." She flashed him a smile before raising her hand in the air again. She remembered him from the greenhouse a few years ago when she and Nik had shared a moment.

"There's the Mermaid Mambo." she said bouncing on the balls of her feet.

Kourt excitedly jumped to her feet and went to stand at one of the dots near the front of the room. Wizarding dances...wizarding dances...she knew tons of Muggle dances, but not many wizarding ones.

She listened to some of the answers, giggling a bit at the sound of them. They sounded like so much fun! Maybe she could get someone to teach a few to her.

Though...she had heard of one. Or at least she thought it was a wizarding dance. Her hand raised. "The Ghosty Swing?"

Nathaniel felt really small among the excited, bouncing students. Being a shy boy, he had difficulty raising his hand and giving his two-cents. He was letting everyone else answer before him. I knew that one, he thought as he heard the other students spit out dance names.

Slowly, Nathaniel raised his trembling hand. "The Whomping Willow Waltz?"

It wasn't a graceful dance by any means, but nonetheless, it was still a dance.

Marie knew it. Carter DOES love Destiny. She was just about to comment on that when the professor spoke up. "You're so lucky class started. This conversation isn't over though." Far from over. She would be talking to him about this after class.

Just as she was moving to a dot she heard...

Salazar Slide?

There was a dance about HER?

Okay maybe she wasn't the Salazar the dance was named after but she didn't care. No one else had a dance with their name in it now did they.

Taking her place on a dot she glanced over at Mia and giggled when she corrected the boy who obviously didn't know the difference between a muggle dance and a wizard dance. Raising her hand she gave an example of a wizard dance. "How about the Centaur Stomp." She then looked over at the confused boy.

Now that was a wizard dance.

Maybelle sat down when class started. She heard a question about wizard dances. Raising her hand, Maybelle spoke. "There is the werewolf wobble." She grinned. It was fun to do. She liked it. Hopefully they would do muggle dances. That's what she excelled at. Maybe the Professor would let Maybelle help out with teaching muggle dances.

Jez bit her lip nervously, remembering all those times Keegan had tried to teach her how to dance without tripping over her own feet. She moved to a dot of her floor, and glanced around. People were calling out many weird dances Jez had never heard of before, much less tried. Her face flushed as she realised she didnt know the answer to the question. She took a deep breath. She must remember something! Her brain clicked on one tiny piece of morory from at least five years before. Uncle Jerald's favourite dance ... him twirling her around the living room when she was 4 ... her mother's shrieks of protest and outrage ... she just wasn't sure what it was called ... "The Transylvanian Twirl," Jez whispered, smiling at the memory, her words more to herself than anyone else.

Everett made his way to one of the dots on the ground, standing still as the professor continued speaking, asking them to name a wizard dance. Now, Everett wasn't the sort to dance or know dances, and most that he knew were already said. So he raised his hand to answer one of the only ones he knew. "The Puffskein Pop." He said, remembering the odd dance. Everett figured that the creator of the dance was crazy and had too much sugar or something when they created it.

Desiree could tell this would be a good class, I mean there were mirrors everywhere and music in the background and more sodas, this Professor obviously knew how to have a really fun lesson. Plus Lana was here! She hadn't seen her in forever.. Sitting by her friend she found herself humming to the music until the professor told them to find a dot. She walked over to one, and heard the teacher say it was a dancing class..

Maybe it wouldn't be that great. She was terrible at dancing, well actually she had just never really tried. Oh a wizard dance.. she knew one! "There's the Troll Tango Professor." she said with a small smile, it was fun to watch, but she really hoped they weren't doing it.

Orr walked over to her spot and listened to everyone saying the names of Wizarding dances. She giggled at some of the more ridiculous names wondering what the actual movement of the dance would be like.

One thing for sure, she would never look at dancing the same again. And here she thought that the names that muggles gave some dances were crazy...she had no idea that the wizarding names were so over the top.

Ariana quickly stood sternly on one of the dots. "There's also the Bowtruckle Boogie" She remembered this when her mother told her that this dance was very unusual and crazy.

She listened eagerly on some other answers from the other students. They were somehow laughable, some of the dances she doesn't even have an idea what they are, but all of it looked like a fun to do.

Penny arose and followed Alyssa to the dots, picking one beside her....Puttingg her hand in the air she said, "Professor, there is another one called 'The Hufflepuff Hop', which is very energetic requires a decent fast beat", lowering her hand again - she looked over to see how Alyssa was dong with her sore leg, but she seemed to be coping for now...
