As you enter the Muggle Studies classroom, you instantly notice that it has been changed to match the lesson again. The room seems to go on forever and each wall is covered by mirrors. The floor is a hardwood floor and there are chairs lining the west and east walls. In the distance, you can hear a variety of Muggle songs playing. They all have a great rhythm that make you want to jump up and dance.
From the ceiling is hanging a mirrored ball, also known as a Disco Ball. There are also a variety of lights and laser machines hanging around the room. The lights are just dimmed slightly.
In the middle of the room on the East side, there is a break in the chairs and there is a table covered with Muggle refreshments. This time there are no cokes or sodas. This time there are bottles of water and Gatorade and a huge punch bowl full of a pink punch. The bowl has been charmed to instantly refill itself when it gets low. The water and Gatorade are iced down and have been charmed to refill as well. There is also a cake in the shape of a musical note but it is encased in a safety charm to insure that no one touches it until the time has come.
In the middle of the room on the West side, there is a break in the chairs where a dry erase board sits. On the board, the professor has left the following note:

Please come in and have a seat in one of the chairs lining the walls! Also don't forget to grab a drink from the refreshment table. Trust me you are going to need it....
Class will begin shortly!

Please come in and have a seat. You may chat but keep it to a minimum. Remember that when class starts, you need to cut out chatting. Also don't post yourself coming in late, Gemma hates late arrivals and will not give you a warning, she will deduct points from the first time you are late.

Thea grinned as he frowned. She ddn't really care if he didn't like her.. Muhahah. Oh.. and there's a sad, forlorn sort of expression. Possibly thinking about Twister? MUHAHAHA.
Turning back to look at the mirror opposite her, Thea mashed her lips together.
Aaron huffed, he didn't understand Thea one bit. One minute she seemed angry and then the next she was grinning. What was up with that?

She smiled and glanced up and down the classroom and with a flick of her wand dots about a foot wide appeared evenly spread out on the hardwood floor. "Okay if everyone will get up, and quietly, head towards a dot on the floor....then we'll get started learning some of the dances."
She gave the students a few minutes to find a dot and she monitored them closely to make sure that the students weren't talking...she knew if she let them talk on this first move the rest of the class would be a disaster of talking.
Once she was sure everyone had a spot on the floor, she turned around and erased the board and then grabbed another marker.
"Let's start by listing some Wizard dances that we do at dances and events, such as the Hippogriff Shuffle..." she said with a nod and then she turned and wrote that on the board. "Can anyone name some other dances...remember to only name one and don't repeat others' answers."
OOC: Okey dokey...I'm going to give you a little bit of time to RP moving to your dots and then giving answers....now you can be as creative as you like with your dance names...I mean I made up the Hippogriff Shuffle. Just have fun with this. Remember NO TALKING, RAISE YOUR HAND, ONLY ONE ANSWER PER PERSON, and DON'T REPEAT OTHERS' ANSWERS (which shouldn't happen with this one since you're just making up dances)

Aaron hopped over to one of the dots on the floor, grinning around like a madman and listened to the Professor's speech. He wasn't going to get caught talking to Thea again. Not Thea, at least. But he really couldn't help it that he wanted to talk ALL THE TIME.
Aaron's hand shot up, 'THE WALTZ!' He made a few weird moves/slides with a solemn expression on his face. That seemed about right.

So they really were starting. She focused her attention on the Professor as she gave them new instructions.
Sighing, she walked towards a dot on the farthest right end of the classroom. This was her dot and hers alone. She was not really excited with dancing or anything but at least she's trying.
At the first questions shot in the air, her hand also zoomed upwards, "There's the Quaffle Mazurka Professor," Beezus said.

Ainsley had been dawdling around a bit, but once prompted, she took a seat against the wall. The classroom looked peculiar today, and it looked as if they definitely wouldn't be sitting and doing exam style questions today, nope. The blonde sat up straight and stared blankly at the Professor when she began talking about dancing. No... they weren't going to dance, right?
She was a good dancer, though, DUH. But it was still awkward.
Quickly and quietly, the Slytherin stood in the middle of the classroom along with everyone else. Wizarding dance moves, hmmm... "The Pumpkin Squish Squash?" It was a ridiculous dance move, no doubt, but props to the name. Whoever came up with that was some sort of genius...

'Ballroom dancing?', Gwendolyn asked, looking a bit unsure. Ack! I hate it when I don't know what to answer, the young Ravenclaw thought, looking around. Muggle Studies is definitely not my best subject. I can even do better in Ancient Runes, where I almost can't understand what the Professor is saying!, the second year thought, still scanning the place.
Right- so what do I have to do?, she asked herself, finally realizing she had to move somewhere where some dot was?! Finally managing to find a spot, she took a deep breath. I just hope I won't hurt anyone because of my 'phenomenal' dancing...

Cass then looked up from her drink when Professor Cerulean started speaking. Then she followed the lead of the other students as she leaned against the glass carefully, watching as her classmates did the same or sat down at the sides. Huh, so muggles danced a lot too, huh? Interesting. Seriously!
Then, before she knew it, they were all standing up from their seats, and were going on dots that she never realized were there. So, she pushed herself away from the wall and stood on a single dot-thingy, making sure that Heather was close by too.
The young blonde then raised her hand excitedly when Professor Cerulean started asking for wizarding dance moves "There's the Unicorn Hop!" She answered with a giggle. She didn't know why she found the name funny when it wasn't even funny! Or maybe she was just trying to imagine an actual Unicorn, actually hopping.

More dance classes. Kurumi had personally had enough from the lesson given by the groundskeeper...no need to further embarrass herself thank you very much.
Hanging her head slightly, Kurumi made her way across the room and towards an empty section of the wall, bowing her head slightly to whoever she passed as she did so. Right as she found a comfortable spot on the wall where she could blend into, it was announced that she had to go find a spot on the floor. The MIDDLE of the floor. Kurumi was certainly less than pleased about this, but she tried not to show it as she took a spot on a dot near the back of the room. Hopefully someone she knew would stand near her.
Then, when Professor Cerulean asked about wizarding dances, Kurumi's expression dropped more. There were specific names for dances performed in the wizarding world? This was news to her. She tried to think back on the discussion in their other dance lesson, but they had been using terms like waltz and ballroom - words that were used in the non-magical world as well. Since her waltz idea had already been thrown out there by someone else, Kurumi was in the dark.
Great. In a class that she ought to know loads about and Kurumi could do nothing but stand in silence - which went completely against her principles. Maybe...she could make one up?
Slowly, she raised her hand. "There is the...um....mooncalf walk?" Sounded like moonwalk, so it was possible, right?
Chances were they would be listing off non-magical dance moves that were the equivalent to the ones they were brainstorming right now. Then Kurumi would feel more confident with her answer.

Scott walked over to one of the strange dots on the floor and sighed. This was so far out of his comfort zone, and he hated every second of it.

Elise was sleepy, and frankly not in the mood to dance. Ravenclaw did, however need house points, so she walked over to a dot and raised her hand.

Jesifur hopped out of her seat and ran to a dot on the floor. She raised her hand at the professors question and when called she said, "The Weasley waggle! Made famouse by Fred and George Weasley I believe."

Gideon was somewhat glad when Professor Cerulean finally started the class, the lesson actually a break from whatever was going on between him and the girls. He listened to what she had to say and watched as she marked out spots on the floor for them with a movement of her wand. The fourth year moving from his seat as instructed and found a spot nearby that he stood in as he thought of an answer to her question.

Jonathan startled as the professor spoke up. Yup. Class has officially started. So what kind of dances are there? Jonathan tried thinking of a dance name. He wasn't very fond of dancing, that he knows. BUT he's not that hard to teach as well. Thankfully.
Jonathan raised his hand "Pixie Hop?" he answered. That's the only thing he could think of right now. So he's just hoping he answers correctly with that.

Thea's head snapped up as she heard the professor's voice. Getting to her feet, she moved over to take a place on of the dots. Nexo to Aaron, apparently. Muhaha. Flashing a smile at the older Huffledpuff, she raised her hand. 'Godric's Glide, professor?' A few of her rather drunk relatives had demonstrated this at her cousin's wedding last year... *shudder*
Flicking a curl from her face, Thea smiled. She knew a few Muggle dances too, as they had also been shown at various events she had been to.
The class quieted down as the professor spoke, then Eino joined the group of the students to the center of the room, where the dots on the floor were. After standing on one, as directed, he continued to listen as the professor asked the first question. Of course, there were no ways to take notes, and this bugged him, but there was nothing worth noting... so far.
"There is the horntail sway." He suggested after raising his hand. This was a particularly easy dance move, and one he was quite good at it, too.
Rose took one look at her ex friend and burst out laughing 'D-D-Dixon... BAHAHAHAHAHAHA- You look so funny!' she spluttered, before laughing harder than before. Oh my Gosh, she looked HILARIOUS!

Hearing someone laugh Ness turned around and saw her arch enemy..Rose. She rolled her eyes at her nemesis and just tried to ignore her. She'd be lecturing Aaron later. This was so humilating. "It's supposed to be funny." she glared at Rose as she spoke. She still hated Rose no matter what anyone said. Rose was her enemy untill she decided to apologize for what she had done.
As she heard another girl laugh she walked away not wanting to feel like a fool for listening to Aaron.

"Yeah..because you made a deal with me." she said getting a little annoyed with Aaron for not having his suit. "Except you..." she stopped midway.

Whhaaat? couldn't be..Ness rubbed her eyes to make sure she was seeing correctly. It seemed like Aaron was wearing his monstersuit after all. Getting over excited Ness ignored Aaron's high-five and gave him a biiig hug. "Thank you...I don't look like such a looner anymore." she said with a small grin. She still wasn't completely happy about this monster thingy.
So much for awesome..meh this was going to be uncomfortable to dance in. "Can I ask..how are we supposed to dance in these suits?" she wanted an answer.

She replied with a grin. As Alyssa comeneted on the monster suit Ness put her hand over her eyes trying to hide her embarrassment. "I sorta am" she said feeling her cheeks go brighter. Adorable?? Alyssa was mental if she thought that. "I look terrible." she said removing her hand from her eyes and frowning a little.
Monster bash..deffinitely..NOT! "Yeah monster bash.." she eyed Aaron as she faked a giggle.

Okay time to focus and ignore the stares Nessie took a seat and focused on the Professor's introduction. At least this was a distraction and hopefully less students would notice Aaron and herself. She started getting hot in her monster suit so before she headed off to the dancefloor she took a squick sip of water.
She then walked over to the dance floor and stood by Aaron which was trying to obviously cause attention to himself as he started to immitate the walts. "Professor well theres the Fairy-trot" she had only seen the fairy trot performed once and she found it rather interesting.

Oooh they WOULD be dancing! A-HA! Tori knew it! She hopped up from her seat eagerly and shimmied out to one of the dots, staring straight forward at the professor and the board. Well her favorite wizarding dance move was a pretty funky one...
"There's the Flobberworm, professor, where you just kinda...flop around on the floor there..."

Alyssa got up from her chair and trying to hide her limo walked over and placed herself on one of the dots. She turned to make sure that Trish was close behind.
Then Professor Cerulean had asked for an example of a Wizard dance. She thought for awhile listening to the examples the other students gave and then raised her hand and answered,"The Dumbledore Dare?"

After Nora moved where professor Cerulean had instructed them to move, she raised her hand to suggest something. "How about the Drunk House Elf?" The girl asked with a tiny grin on her face, trying not to start giggling.
You know, it's pretty simple. All you have to do it spin around and wiggle your arms and feet. Hehe.
Angelina was sitting all alone when she saw William possibly the only student she knew in the class so far. She walked up to him and said, "Hi William." with a small smile
William waved to Angelina.

"Just like in the Wizard world, the Muggles have a variety of dances that they always seem to work into their major dances at school, weddings, birthday parties, etc. These dances are very interesting and tons of fun!" she said with a flick of her wand. "And what makes these dances even better is that the majority of them are easy to learn and you don't have to be a dancing expert or even novice to get them!" she said excitedly to ease the nerves of those students that might be nervous about dancing.
She smiled and glanced up and down the classroom and with a flick of her wand dots about a foot wide appeared evenly spread out on the hardwood floor. "Okay if everyone will get up, and quietly, head towards a dot on the floor....then we'll get started learning some of the dances."
She gave the students a few minutes to find a dot and she monitored them closely to make sure that the students weren't talking...she knew if she let them talk on this first move the rest of the class would be a disaster of talking.
Once she was sure everyone had a spot on the floor, she turned around and erased the board and then grabbed another marker.
"Let's start by listing some Wizard dances that we do at dances and events, such as the Hippogriff Shuffle..." she said with a nod and then she turned and wrote that on the board. "Can anyone name some other dances...remember to only name one and don't repeat others' answers."
OOC: Okey dokey...I'm going to give you a little bit of time to RP moving to your dots and then giving answers....now you can be as creative as you like with your dance names...I mean I made up the Hippogriff Shuffle. Just have fun with this. Remember NO TALKING, RAISE YOUR HAND, ONLY ONE ANSWER PER PERSON, and DON'T REPEAT OTHERS' ANSWERS (which shouldn't happen with this one since you're just making up dances)

William took his spot on the marked dot. William raised his hand. " This is not a partner dance" William told the professor. " The dance I am going to mention is "The TriWizard Dance" William said to the professor.

Ira was now really excited! She hurried over to find one of her dots. She hopped over one and pondered about the types of wizard dancing forms...She knew the Salsa, Samba, Ballet etc etc etc! but wizard dancing styles? Being a muggleborn, she had did not have much of an idea.
"Chimaera Swing, professor?" She had heard about this form of dance from somewhere...It was kind of rowdy and wild dance. Anyways, at least she knew something!
Ira was eager for the lesson to proceed....
Cael stepped into the Muggle Studies classroom, immediately shielding his eyes from an onslaught of lights hanging from the ceiling.
"What... on Earth?" Cael paled, lowering his arm slowly from where he'd slung it over his eyes. This was so far outside his comfort zone, it wasn't even funny.
Muggle Studies itself was a challenge, but Muggle dancing and Muggle, *gulp*, techfonolomagy? Urgh, Cael was sure to die by the end of this lesson. Some things just weren't meant to go together, Ashdowns and Muggle things being one of those.
Shakily making his way over to a table filled with refreshments, he grabbed a bottle of water while throwing out a hurried, "Hello Professor," and racing over to drop into the seat next to his girlfriend.
"Jay..." he groaned. Really. No words were necessary.
"It's going to be okay." Jayden smiled at Cael, taking her hand in his. "I'll be here to help you." She said reassuringly.

"Well professor," Jayden piped up. "Theres the Dragon Dougie" She answered with a giggle.
Ashley got up and moved to a dot when instructed to do so, but he didn't bother trying to answer the question. He didn't go to a lot of parties, and the couple of dances he had attended were mostly part of wedding parties. He didn't pay any attention during those, since he couldn't and didn't want to dance. His parents weren't the types to play around with dancing at home, either. Really, wizard or muggle, dancing was just something he didn't know a single thing about.
So he just listened to the others' answers, even smiling a little at some of the names. Those did sound interesting. He sort of wished he'd paid enough attention at any of those dances to have seen some of them, if they had happened.
