Walking into the Muggle Studies classroom, remembering how awkward she'd felt in the last lesson and wishing that her father had told her more about the Muggle part of his family instead of focusing on the fact he was a wizard, Stella blinked as she saw the way the classroom had been transformed. Well this is different, she thought, smiling a little as she let the decor make her more comfortable. "Good day, Professor Cerulean," she greeted the professor as she saw the woman. She'd almost forgotten that the lesson was supposed to have something to do with dance. Odds are they weren't going to be discussing the waltz again (or that Monsieur Stryker was goin g to be leading the lesson), but at least she knew a bit more about dance than anything else Muggle. Even if they didn't talk about theatrical dance, she'd be hard pressed to not have been exposed to other types having Risa as a best friend.

It was really too bad Risa was back in France, but as Stella looked around again she sighed a little as she didn't see Matt. Apparently she'd need to make more friends again, if they had anything that involved partners. Heading for the drinks table, she waved at Gideon, though, remembering the younger Lion from Arithmancy. Poor boy looked a bit uncomfortable himself, but she didn't go over after retrieving a bottle of water. She'd just keep to her own counsel for now, pretending she was just in another drama class and not expecting to feel like she couldn't keep up in the lesson. She was going to be positive.

''Hello Proffeser'' she smilied and tooka seat dancing yeah no way!!!

Jez hurried into the classroom, hoping she wasn't late. That wouldn't be good at all, not for one of her favourite classes! She took a bottle of water from the table and smiled at the teacher. "Hello, Professor!" Jez spotted a seat near both Scott and Nate, and so sat down. "Hi," she greeted them happily, putting her satchel and bottle of water down on the floor, and brushing long strands of hair from her face. She had to get it cut, she really did. Another thing on her to-do list.

Marilyn was not in the best of moods. She'd been trying to do a simple ponytail with her hair and of course it did NOT want to cooperate. It wasn't like she was a newbie at ponytails...They were so simple.

Stupid hair...She had half a mind to cut all of it off...

Wearing her dance attire, and carrying her special bag, the blond entered the Muggle Studies classroom. The second she'd walked in, a noticeable tension filled the air. Looking up from her watch, there was something...off?

Marie was with Mia talking to Carter and Destiny...and...Caroline...

Huh?

Marie looked entirely TOO happy to be considered normal...Mia seemed confused...Caroline looked...upset?

*blink*

Not in the mood for WHATEVER this was, even though she would have liked to have been close to Carter...she made her way to the back of the room...Not before grabbing bottled water, of course. The good Professor had come prepared today!

Evelyn obviously had the same idea because she was staked out in the back of the room, as well. Grabbing a seat near her fellow Slytherin...she couldn't help but to let her eyes travel back over to the scene near the front of the room...

What was going on here?

All right, Heather had not a clue why she was running so fast to get to class when she wasn't running late. She went in the class room and paid little attention to how changed it was and went to greet the professor- "Good morning Professor." she chirped happily with that erratic smile of hers and turned around to see, ah, it was Cass. She gave her friend another calm smile. "Good morning Cass."

"Good morning Professor Cerulean." Raven greeted her nice. She didn't want to miss the Muggle Studies lesson. It's about dance! Some of her muggle friends had taught her breakdance, street dance and some hip-hop dance. She entered the classroom and amazed.

"Wow, Does is a class or party?" asked her. Then she saw Lana there.

"Hey Lanaa!!"

Tiffany entered the classroom. She was a bit confused about the decorations changed in the classroom. She was quite curious about today's theme indeed.

"The second lesson of Muggle Studies,"she thought to herself,smiling. As she stepped in, she greeted the professor politely,"Good morning, professor!"She was feeling totally positive about this class. She then headed to the table where lots of drinks were put. She picked a can of coke and found a seat and settled herself down a bit.

Ariana took a seat. "Good day to you Professor!" she nodded and then looked around. The decorations changed, but she didn't mind, it still looked very nice. I hope I'll do well today, dancing really isn't my thing. she thought and then relaxed and put her bag off her shoulder.

Cass walked over to the beverage table and took a glass as she watched her classmates dance around, this was starting to look like a party, not a class. Just then, she heard someone approach her and she grinned. She would recognize that voice anywhere.

"Hey Heather." Cass replied with an easy smile "You look pretty perky today." She commented with a grin.

"I am?" asked Heather and came to a relaization. "I guess i am. I guess one could say i woke up in the good side of the bed this morning. I feel rather...euphoric." she looked around. "So, this is class? Everyone seems to be enjoying it like a party. This looks like it'll be one fun class."

Janice walked into the classroom passing the professor as she come to a random seat.
"Good morning, Professor!"

Angelina was sitting all alone when she saw William possibly the only student she knew in the class so far. She walked up to him and said, "Hi William." with a small smile

Katrina went to Muggle Studies, a class she possibly would excel in because of her friendship with Muggles and her knowledge about the Muggle communities.

When she went in, she saw her friend Ariana Blue, sitting down and greeted the Professor.

"Good day, Professor Cerulean," Katrina greeted and went to her friend.

"Hey, Ariana, mind if I sit beside you?" Katrina smiled.

Ariana looked up and saw her friend, Katrina.

"Of course you can. It's nice to see you here." She said and smiled at her.

"I've heard you knew a lot of muggles, lucky you. The only muggle I knew was my aunt, and believe me, she really ain't a big help. I'm trying my best in Muggle Studies, I absolutely don't want to flunk this year." She let out a small giggle and stared at the other students wearing their dance attires.

I wonder when I'll ever learn how to dance like a fancy muggle does... She thought shifting her eyes through the students inside the room. They look like they all know how to dance..err..gracefully.

Okay what is up with the dance fetish in this school. The term started quite odd, least to say. Was Hogwarts suddenly obsess with dancing and what not. The lesson 2 for muggle studies is crazy dance lessons. Hmmm. Something Jonathan could easily understand. Well, he doesn't have 2 left feet anyway so dancing was more of something that came naturally. But he's not an expert.

He doesn't even like to dance.

Jonathan entered the room and gazed upon the disco ball. Muggle studies always had the best... YES, the BEST classroom interior. No one could ever do the same thing as this professor could. She's very creative and fun.

"Good morning professor" he greeted her with a smile. Jonathan found himself sitting in front. This should be fun. Dancing during winter.

Ashley peeked into the room before actually entering it, a little confused about the decor. But he figured it had something to do with the lesson. Quickly he went to find a seat, giving the professor a quiet "hello" before doing so. He didn't bother looking for anyone he knew, since he rarely found it, and besides, he was too busy taking in more of the room now that he was actually inside of it. This was definitely different. And weird. And why did there have to be mirrors?

Cass perked an eyebrow at the smaller girl as she eyed her curiously. Something seemed off about Heather...She seemed less, uh..hyper and jumpy today; and she didn't know if the change whether it was for the good or the bad. The blonde reached for another cup and handed it to the Gryffindor as she smiled at her.

"Well, good for you. I guess." She said uncertainly. Seriously, this calm-like Heather was freaking her out. But maybe she was just tired from her trip or whatever. Then her eyebrows furrowed in confusion when she mentioned feeling euphoric or something. OMG, Was she on something?! Did she get some delusional disease from Hawaii? Or worse...was Ed back?! "Uh, why? Did something happen?" She asked calmly, hiding the panic inside her.

Muggle Studies time.

Beatrice quickly paved her way towards the Muggle Studies Classroom and to her surprise saw that the classroom has turned into what seemed like a dance studio. Uh-oh. They'll be dancing ? Not good.

"Good day Professor, " she said as she passed Professor Cerulean and walked directly towards the table with refreshments, grabbed a bottle of water and drank it. She sighed afterwards, she knew they were going to tackle Muggle Dances but she just can't take the fact that they would be performing it.

Tayla noticed the Slytherin boy take a seat up front. Though they didn't belong to the same house - or even the same year - she felt grateful. Maybe this boy wouldn't be so mean. She'd like to talk to someone.

"Hello there," Tayla started, rather nervously. She smiled and convinced herself there was nothing to be nervous about. They were all Hogwarts students after all. No reason not to be friendly. "My name is Tayla. What's yours?"

"Not scary! I mean dancing, like if you think he's good he's probablly good," she retorted quickly.

Cael stepped into the Muggle Studies classroom, immediately shielding his eyes from an onslaught of lights hanging from the ceiling.

"What... on Earth?" Cael paled, lowering his arm slowly from where he'd slung it over his eyes. This was so far outside his comfort zone, it wasn't even funny.

Muggle Studies itself was a challenge, but Muggle dancing and Muggle, *gulp*, techfonolomagy? Urgh, Cael was sure to die by the end of this lesson. Some things just weren't meant to go together, Ashdowns and Muggle things being one of those.

Shakily making his way over to a table filled with refreshments, he grabbed a bottle of water while throwing out a hurried, "Hello Professor," and racing over to drop into the seat next to his girlfriend.

"Jay..." he groaned. Really. No words were necessary.

Thea grinned as he frowned. She ddn't really care if he didn't like her.. Muhahah. Oh.. and there's a sad, forlorn sort of expression. Possibly thinking about Twister? MUHAHAHA.
Turning back to look at the mirror opposite her, Thea mashed her lips together.

Gemma smiled at each of the students as they entered the classroom and she even ignored the chitter chatter...there seemed to be an extra lot today but she was hoping that maybe the excitement of her class was encouraging some of it.

She walked towards the board with the welcome message and then turned towards all of the students, "Welcome everyone!!!! Will you please all start finding a seat against one of the walls and all conversations should end right now so we can get started..." she said sweetly with a little nod. She gave the students a few minutes to get settled and then continued.

"I'm sure you have all noticed the drastic change of the classroom." she said spreading her arms out to signal the mirrors and the hardwood floors and the lack of desks. "Well, today we are going to focus on something really fun and exciting from the Muggle world." she said with a little wink.

"Just like in the Wizard world, the Muggles have a variety of dances that they always seem to work into their major dances at school, weddings, birthday parties, etc. These dances are very interesting and tons of fun!" she said with a flick of her wand. "And what makes these dances even better is that the majority of them are easy to learn and you don't have to be a dancing expert or even novice to get them!" she said excitedly to ease the nerves of those students that might be nervous about dancing.

She smiled and glanced up and down the classroom and with a flick of her wand dots about a foot wide appeared evenly spread out on the hardwood floor. "Okay if everyone will get up, and quietly, head towards a dot on the floor....then we'll get started learning some of the dances."

She gave the students a few minutes to find a dot and she monitored them closely to make sure that the students weren't talking...she knew if she let them talk on this first move the rest of the class would be a disaster of talking.

Once she was sure everyone had a spot on the floor, she turned around and erased the board and then grabbed another marker.

"Let's start by listing some Wizard dances that we do at dances and events, such as the Hippogriff Shuffle..." she said with a nod and then she turned and wrote that on the board. "Can anyone name some other dances...remember to only name one and don't repeat others' answers."

OOC: Okey dokey...I'm going to give you a little bit of time to RP moving to your dots and then giving answers....now you can be as creative as you like with your dance names...I mean I made up the Hippogriff Shuffle. Just have fun with this. Remember NO TALKING, RAISE YOUR HAND, ONLY ONE ANSWER PER PERSON, and DON'T REPEAT OTHERS' ANSWERS (which shouldn't happen with this one since you're just making up dances)
