"Oh you are good dont think that you cant dance. Just dance and have fun doesnt matter whether you are good or bad, which you are not you are a good at dancing " Harvey told Beezus as they continued with the Cupid Shuffle.

Huh, well ,the Chacha slide looked so much more fun than the cupid shuffle thing, so she'll just go for that one...Cass bit her lip as she held back the laughter bubbling inside her. She knew she looked rather silly, but this was actually fun. Very fun.

right, right
left, right

ok, take it back...huh? She glanced up from focusing on her feet and watched her classmates do the cha-cha slide..was she even doing this right? Ooh. now cha-cha! Which simply looks like some sort of going around in a square.

This was hard. Meh.

She looked at Harvey as he commended her dancing abilities. Really now ? He can see that I'm good but I do not, she said to herself.

This was a hopeless case for her but hey-she was doing her best. And so there Beezus was, trying to learn the Cupid Shuffle even if she got two left feet.

Minerva went over to her. "Ok this one is the so easy. All you do is step to your right, step to your right, step to your right, step to your right, now step to the left, to the left, to the left, to the left, and now kick, kick, kick, kick, and finally walk as you turn left to face the next side." Minerva smiled as she helped Beezus.

She stared blankly at Minerva as she gave her instructions on how to perform the Cupid Shuffle. What's she talking about, she said in her head.

Seriously, she was such a failure in this field. Why can't she just fly? She looked back at Minerva;determined to learn their dance, "Er-I didn't kinda got it," she said hesitantly, "Can you demonstrate it ?"

Minerva laughed she went behind Beezus and grabbed her shoulders. "Ok, Now take four steps to the right when the song says." Minerva waited a second and all the sudden the song sang "To the right, to the right, to the right, to the right" " Now four steps to the left as the song sang to the left to the left, to the left, to the left. Now your going to kick four times **Now Kick, now kick, now kick, now kick Finally your going to just walked little steps and turn to the next wall ** now walk it out" Minerva instructed as she guided Beezus. "That's all there is to it just repeat at each all the entire song. Your doing great!"

Harvey smiled as Minnie taught Beezus the dance. "I agree Beezus you are good and I am not just saying that, you really are." He said to Beezus. He still was not sure about the dance so when Minnie taught Beezus he followed Minnie's instructions. "I am enjoying this dancing because of you Minnie." he said smiling as he learnt the cupid shuffle and did the dance.

Alyssa saw Minerva, Harvey and another Ravenclaw girl dancing the Cupid Shuffle. So she called over to them,"Hey guys, wanna form a line over here? We could all do it together. Hi, my name is Alyssa," Alyssa introduced herself and stuck out her hand to shake the new girl's.

Harvey heard Alyssa call him, Minnie and Beezus, so he went over there to form a line near her.

Definetly the cha-cha slide. Way cooler. She moved her foot to the left, slowly getting the hang of it.
Right, Left, Left.

Orr knew the Cupid Shuffle already so she chose to do the Cha Cha Slide and moved to the side of the Cha Cha Slide and watched the video in order to learn the steps.

Afterwards, with the music playing in the background she started moving her body:

She clapped her hands a few times before stepping a step to the left and then returning to where she was before. Then hopped before taking a forward step with her right foot. Then returning that foot and doing the same forward step with her left.

Then she grinned as she cha-cha-ed in place.

And then she turned and started with taking a step to the right and then repeated the other movements from before.

This was so much fun!!

Yesssss! New dance. That meant Carter could get away from Evelyn.

Far, far away.

So he decided to go over to Marilyn and the cha-cha slide. ...Except now she was on the shuffle side. Oh well. Maybe Evelyn wouldn't follow him. Plus, he knew both dances anyway.

He stepped in beside her. "Down, down, do your dance, do your dance." Yeah, he knew the words.

Step. Step. Step. Step.
Step. Step. Step. Step.
Kick. Kick. Kick.

It was at times like this that he missed muggle life.

She breathed as Minerva grabbed her and started dancing with the song. She stared at first but as the girl demonstrated the dance again and again, she was able to catch up. Beezus focused herself on this challenge and fortunately, her feet were doing the same!

Harvey added another compliment which made her spirit soar even higher. Then not long after, a girl called them and introduced herself, she did as well. "Hey Alyssa, I'm Beezus and I don't dance," she told her as she moved let, left, left and kicked towards the girl's direction.

So, what does this mean-Beezus Castell now knows now how to dance ?

She grinned at her sudden change of thought and because of that she lost her focus. And when she was about to step her left foot to the right. Her right foot did causing her to lose her balance, grabbed Minerva by the hand and they both stumbled together. WHAM !

Marilyn was dancing along with the steps...and humming along with the music when Carter appeared beside her...

He immediately went into the dance and was even singing the words. The blonde was immediately stunned...

Carter...could dance? When did that happen?

He was easily showing her up and that was just unacceptable.

Feeling confident in the steps, Marilyn began embellishing...bobbing her head with the beat. And when it came to the part where you had to kick, she added a bounce to them and a bit more hip action.

"When did you get rhythm?"

*smirk*

Minerva fell with Beezus and couldn't stop laughing. This was so much fun.

Harvey laughed as he saw both girls fall and decided to help them up, giving Minnie his left hand and Beezus his right hand "Come on Beezus you aint getting out of dancing that easily when you are doing soo well. Are you both alright?" he asked laughing. This lesson was sooo much fun.

Alyssa looked over just in time to see both Beezus and Minerva crash into each other and land on the floor, and Harvey bending over to help them up. They were all laughing. Alyssa couldn't help herself either and started laughing too. "Are you guys alright?. Here Beezus you take my hand, and I'll walk you through the steps really slowly. Janice, Penny you guys continue without me. I'll be back in a jiffy", she whispered over to her fellow Huffies who had joined her earlier.

"Okay here we go. To the right, to the Right, to the Right, to the right....got that? Now you do it, Beezus." Alyssa encouraged her new friend.

Carter smirked. "Maybe there's things you don't know about me..." he said with a little hint of mystery. "And... I may happen to do a little dance in the locker rooms before matches..." Some people jumped up and down... some people shouted... Carter happened to do an awful a little dance.

He smirked again at Marilyn's like spin on the move. "Nice one." he commented.

He decided on adding a bit of his own. During one of the walk it out parts he added a dougie-type move.

He then smirked once more and gave Marilyn a little nod inviting her to top his move.

"Obviously..." She was staring at him, liking the personality he was bringing to the dance. "If I tried getting the Slytherin team to dance before Quidditch, I'd probably get hexed..."

...And that was just being honest.

Carter was obviously challenging her, and Marilyn complied. Giving him a bright smile, she got to the walk it out part and did a twist-like move but instead, was stepping it out. It was something else Angie had taught her. Lots more hip-action because it made any dance cool.

She gave him a look and winked. "Your turn, Phillips..."

Okay so he's going to do the Cupid Shuffle since he already saw it and thinks he can do the steps since it's quite easier perhaps? Jonathan smiled at Kurumi "Sure... have fun dancing." crazy muggle dancing is not exactly Jonathan's forte but this looks easy enough. And everyone was having fun... He was having fun doing these dances.

So he'll be dancing the cupid shuffle. He tried dancing the steps on the video the professor just showed them. Everything is in count of 4. Jonathan nodded and kept that in mind. The four main steps were to the right, to the left, kick and walk by yourself. Easy enough. Jonathan smiled as the video continued to demonstrate the dance.

After finishing watching it, Jonathan was ready to do the Cupid shuffle. he stood up with both his hands on his waist. Okay so the stepping are:

to the right... to the right... to the right... to the right...
to the left... to the left... to the left... to the left...
and kick... kick... kick... kick...
and then the weird 'walk it by yourself' step. four times.

Jonathan covered his mouth and laughed. Okay that was a really interesting dance but it is fun. So he positioned himself again and tried practicing the whole steps again.

CUPID SHUFFLE!!! Raven had learned it at summer with her muggle boy-friends. Then she gonna try it again

So fun!! Thank Merlin Professor Cerulean didn't teach them the ballroom dance, that's boring

Jory decided on Cupid's Shuffle. He'd seen it on TV.

To the right side- to the right side- to the right side- to the right again,

Right kick, left kick, right kick again , left kick again,
Then walk it to the left, then walk it to the left.

He found the dance to be fun, so he tried it again!

Kurumi continued repeating the first bits of the dance a few more times until she was sure that she wouldn't trip over her own feet. Pausing for a moment to looked up with the intention of checking out the video again, but couldn't help but take a glance in Jonathan's direction to see how he was doing with his dance. Her certainly seemed more relaxed than earlier, so that was a good thing. Kurumi found herself giggling as well before turning her attention back to the video of the Cha Cha.

Step back with the left foot, step back with the right foot, step back with the left foot, touch right foot beside left. Kurumi found herself getting a little more into the dance now, swinging her hips a bit and adding a clap here and there to go with the rhythm. Her smile widened a bit for no other reason other than she was enjoying herself - even considering how embarrassing this all was. She hoped forward next, and then stomped her right foot in front, adding a bit of arm movement as she did, and then moved her right foot over her left, stepped back with her left foot, step to the right with her right foot, step forward with her left foot. Merlin that was a lot of steps to remember, but Kurumi was in a rhythm now and nothing seemed impossible.

Penny started to copy Alyssa and the moves she was doing, They seemed to look like the moves and steps on the video.

"Oh this is actually quite easy", Penny said delighted...

Penny nodded to Alyssa to acknowledge her absence from the Cupid Shuffle line... which seemed to have grown larger over the last few minutes...It now included Ravens..."Cool - some inter-house unity", she thought and smiled over to the Ravenclaws.

"Ok guys will we try that again... maybe at the same time?, Penny got herself into position and waited for the rest to follow suit....

Waiting for the music to start, Penny looked around at the dancers surrounding her...Alyssa, Beezus, Harvey, Minnie.

Alyssa quickly ran over pulling Beezus along. "Come on Harvey and Minnie, let's go back over and join Penny and the rest of the guys here. Ready? Let's do it."

"Are you okay now, Beezus? Let's all do it again. This time a little faster." Alyssa suggested to everyone in the line.
