As you enter the Muggle Studies classroom, you instantly notice that it has been changed to match the lesson again. The room seems to go on forever and each wall is covered by mirrors. The floor is a hardwood floor and there are chairs lining the west and east walls. In the distance, you can hear a variety of Muggle songs playing. They all have a great rhythm that make you want to jump up and dance.
From the ceiling is hanging a mirrored ball, also known as a Disco Ball. There are also a variety of lights and laser machines hanging around the room. The lights are just dimmed slightly.
In the middle of the room on the East side, there is a break in the chairs and there is a table covered with Muggle refreshments. This time there are no cokes or sodas. This time there are bottles of water and Gatorade and a huge punch bowl full of a pink punch. The bowl has been charmed to instantly refill itself when it gets low. The water and Gatorade are iced down and have been charmed to refill as well. There is also a cake in the shape of a musical note but it is encased in a safety charm to insure that no one touches it until the time has come.
In the middle of the room on the West side, there is a break in the chairs where a dry erase board sits. On the board, the professor has left the following note:

Welcome to our second Muggle Studies Lesson!!!
Please come in and have a seat in one of the chairs lining the walls! Also don't forget to grab a drink from the refreshment table. Trust me you are going to need it....
Class will begin shortly!

Please come in and have a seat. You may chat but keep it to a minimum. Remember that when class starts, you need to cut out chatting. Also don't post yourself coming in late, Gemma hates late arrivals and will not give you a warning, she will deduct points from the first time you are late.

Mina had to admit it, the Bunny Hop wasn't all that terrible. Hopping around wasn't that bad compared to looking like a chicken. Maybe she would have to rethink this whole muggle dance thing.
Returning to her dot for a moment, she turned her attention to the videos and tilted her head slightly. She had a choice here and she knew which one sounded a lot more fun.
She was more of a shuffle person than a slide anyway.
Moving over to that side of the room, she quietly watched the video. She needed to take time studying what the moves were and the timing of them. It looked easy and it was in counts of four, so that was easy to remember. The steps were small and the kicks only went as high as to meet their foot's heel to the grounded foot. Walk it by yourself? Okay, that one she didn't completely understand, but she studied it again and nodded. Walking to the left slowly! She just would turn to the left. Yeah, that was easy to remember too.
After watching the video in few times, she found a spot and had a go at it.

As the professor instructed everyone to try to do the bunny hop as one big line, Kourtney shuffled her position and held onto the person in front of her. Right side twice, left side twice. Hop forward once, backwards twice, and three times forward again. Dooby-do, dooby-do, buh...buh-buh...buh-buh-buh! She continued the steps, giggling every now and again as the line wound its way through the classroom. When the song ended, she dropped her hands from the person's shoulders in front of her, and turned excitedly towards Professor Cerulean as she began to announce the next set of dances.
The Cupid Shuffle! She definitely wanted to do that one! Excitedly skipping over to the side of the room indicated by the professor.
Alright, to the right four times, to the left four times, kick forward four times, and then step four times while turning. Woo!
And again! Ooo, and this was her favorite part. You could either slow it up and take only two steps to the right and add a little bounce or do it per the original step.

"If you would like to learn the Cupid Shuffle go towards this end...and if you would like to learn the Cha Cha Slide go to the opposite end..." she shook her head and waited to make sure that she made sense to the other students.
"Now let's start the last two videos...both of these are a little bit more than the Chicken Dance and Bunny Hop, but these are still fun nonetheless..." she flicked her wand and the videos started up.
As the videos ended, Gemma smiled at the students..."Okay now choose a side and start learning one of the dances!" she said excitedly.
OOC: Thank you for having fun with this so far!!! Please choose a side and RP learning whichever dance you want. Have fun but keep all the talking down...it was a little crazy last segment...only simple talking about dancing and such would work...thanks everyone!!!

These new dances they were about to start, though...Cha Cha Slide? It sounded cool. The music was explanatory and everything...Watching the Cupid Shuffle, though...The beat was hot and the moves were more fascinating to her.
Toddling over to the Shuffle side, she began running the steps down. She'd heard of the "walk it" part, fortunately.
Yay for a leg up on the competition.

Harvey was definitely up for more dancing. Since he was part the group with Alyssa, Minnie, Violet and others he decided to stick with them. He first watched Alyssa and Minnie do the cupid shuffle and then he slowly slowly joined them and did what they did.

William raised his hand." The dances sound really cool" William said to the professsor. William decides to do the Cupid Shuffle. Willaim tood his spot on the cance floor.
William started iut wirh a little muscle.
William moved to the right, to the right, to the right, to the right with his feet doing a little slide.
Then he moved to the left, to the left,to the left, to the left the same way.
William did right kick, left kick, right kick, left kick.
Now walk it to the left, walk it to the left. Willaim did a trun of his body and he was done.
Willaim repeated the dance again.

Ame smiled softly as she went to Cha Cha Slide screen. The Song seemed so familiar and appealed greatly to her. She kept note of the moves and finally began.

From there, she continued the correct movements. She would giggle when she had to get 'low'. And she smiled wide on 'FREEZE! Everybody clap your hands!'.

So even though Tori was like, totes a professional dancer, even she occasionally... messed up. Not that she would EVER admit that out loud.
But there she was, shufflin' and sliding and kicking to the left, the left, the left, the left, and then... she accidentally kicked the bum of the girl in front of her. HARD. OOOOOPS!
Tori froze in place and bit her lip, both of her hands flying to cover the mouth that was laughing hysterically.
"Oh my... goshhhhhhhhh," she trilled, still laughing. "I am SO SORRY, hun, I just... got a lil carried away, I guess...."

Okay so everyone was ready to do the bunny hope. At first, Jonathan was getting himself prepared over this but when he started to do the first step, he laughed. Now he knows why the professor titled this lecture 'Crazy Muggle Dances' because it is super crazy.
Okay, laughter aside, concentrate. Jonathan positioned himself again and although, a smile is still stuck on his face, he was ready to hop.
Right foot first and then tap, tap.
Left foot next and then tap, tap.
Hop forward hop and then hop backward hop.
Hop forward again and then hop hop hop.
This was actually fun when done in groups, just as long as everyone was having fun too. But Jonathan can't help but think what their homework will be. He's just hoping that it's not to practice the dance while keeping a journal about it... Cross-fingers hope it's not.

The professor gave them another batch of clips to watch. So that was the Chicken Dance then the Bunny Hop and now they'll be doing a Cha Cha Slide and Cupid Shuffle. Cha Cha Slide? What is that? And what in Merlin's name is a Cupid Shuffle? It sounds like a store Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade would like to have.
The professor did explain that they have to choose between the two dances... so which one doesn't look as complicated? Hmmmmm.... Cupid Shuffle perhaps? Judging by the videos, both are easy but the Cupid shuffle seems more fun.

Kurumi found herself in a fit of awkward giggles as the four of them began performing the dance and eventually found her rhythm. Right foot tap tap, left foot tap tap, hop forwards, hop back, hop forwards hop hop hop. Certainly much better than doing it individually to be sure.
"Would anyone else like to jo---," but she was silenced when the class moved onto the next movement. No more bunny hopping for her for a while it seemed. At least she had both her shoes this time though.
Quickly, Kurumi returned to her original dot and watched the videos. Hmm...both dances didn't seem to bad, but she was certainly more drawn to the Cha Cha Slide...

She glanced over her shoulder when Jonathan asked her about what dance she thought she would learn. What she really wanted as a five minute break to rehydrate since she was sweating a bit now from all the movement.
"I think, I am going to try for the Cha Cha Slide," she said with a nervous but excited smile. The Cupid Shuffle seemed so much tamer and resembled the Bunny Hop a bit. It was time for something a little different. Besides, saying Cha Cha was kind of fun.
Kurumi folded her arms across her chest and began to try and count the steps in her head, at least for the first bit with the whole 'take it to the left and right' parts. "I think I've got the first part..." she said unconvincingly after a few moments.
First, she stepped to the side with her left foot and then across her left foot with the right foot. She went slowly so that her legs didn't get tangled up with each other. Then, she step to the side with her left foot and touched her right foot beside her left. So far so good...so she did it again but with the opposite foot leading, all the while clapping her hands to keep a rhythm.
Perhaps once she got these steps down a bit more her shoulders would relax and her face wouldn't look so contorted.

Marilyn stepped in time with the music, grinning the entire time. This wasn't so bad. It was certainly better than the Bunny Hop.
Her brother's friend, Angie, had been nice enough to show her some muggle dances. It was total girl stuff...but they'd really bonded. It was nice to have one more friend in the world...when so many people hated you.
Like she cared, but that was besides the point...
When Marilyn finally felt comfortable enough, she began embellishing a tad, moving her hips and making the steps her own.

Hmm... the Cha-cha seems more catchy. Katrina went to an empty spot in the room and danced to her humming tune.

Katrina laughed. Muggles have silly but fun dances. She repeated the dance again and again and again until she memorized the entire dance.

After a few minutes of the Cupid Shuffle, Nate jumped out of that line and moonwalked his way over to the Cha Cha Slide side. His smile hadn't faded since he started this class (save during the bunny hop, he felt as though he was above that one).

Minerva saw a girl looking frustrated. Then she recognized the girl. She hadn't spoken to her since that one time at the lake, but Minerva thought she knew her name. "Beatrice, right? Come over here I can help you with the Cupid Shuffle if you would like?"
She giggled frustratedly as she started dancing. Why can it be just sing ?
Then someone approached her, it was Minerva-Harvey's crushee. And she had not heard from her since the first time they met on the lake. She doesn't even have any news about the couple.
"Yeah. Hey there Minerva. I'm really no good with dancing you know," she said as she took out her handkerchief from her hand and wiped the sweat on her forehead.
