As you enter the Muggle Studies classroom, you instantly notice that it has been changed to match the lesson again. The room seems to go on forever and each wall is covered by mirrors. The floor is a hardwood floor and there are chairs lining the west and east walls. In the distance, you can hear a variety of Muggle songs playing. They all have a great rhythm that make you want to jump up and dance.
From the ceiling is hanging a mirrored ball, also known as a Disco Ball. There are also a variety of lights and laser machines hanging around the room. The lights are just dimmed slightly.
In the middle of the room on the East side, there is a break in the chairs and there is a table covered with Muggle refreshments. This time there are no cokes or sodas. This time there are bottles of water and Gatorade and a huge punch bowl full of a pink punch. The bowl has been charmed to instantly refill itself when it gets low. The water and Gatorade are iced down and have been charmed to refill as well. There is also a cake in the shape of a musical note but it is encased in a safety charm to insure that no one touches it until the time has come.
In the middle of the room on the West side, there is a break in the chairs where a dry erase board sits. On the board, the professor has left the following note:

Welcome to our second Muggle Studies Lesson!!!
Please come in and have a seat in one of the chairs lining the walls! Also don't forget to grab a drink from the refreshment table. Trust me you are going to need it....
Class will begin shortly!

Please come in and have a seat. You may chat but keep it to a minimum. Remember that when class starts, you need to cut out chatting. Also don't post yourself coming in late, Gemma hates late arrivals and will not give you a warning, she will deduct points from the first time you are late.

And the music stopped just as she getting ready to do a solo poka dance. So that was it then no more chicken dance. Caroline trotted back over to her spot or dot as it seemed. So it wasn't completely over yet Professor Cerulean started the music up again.....

And the music stopped again. *frown* she really liked the chicken dance. A break well that would be great she then skipped Yes. Caroline Scott was skipping over to grab her a bottle of water. And she skipped back to her spot. Wondering what dance they were going to learn next she watched as the professor flicked her wand at the screen.
The bunny hop, yeah? She was starting to believe that all muggle line dances were connected with animals, food, or people. It looked easy enough though. Right? That was easy enough she got into one of the three lines.

Marilyn stared unblinkingly at the Professor...trying to figure out if she really wanted to do this.

As she continued to dance, Sierra looked at Bunny out of the corner of her eye. It was hard to believe they were actually the same age. Bunny acted more like a four-year-old and less like the teenager she was supposed to be. Maybe she was the victim of some charm that had made her into a gigantic toddler? It would make sense considering this was the magical world...
She rolled her eyes then moved to an area of the room further away from the four-year-old. Immaturity was never something she could tolerate for long. Why hadn't Bunny ended up a Puffer?

"Another fun and crazy Muggle Dance is the bunny hop. Now they have recently remixed the Bunny Hop to a more rap kind of style, but I'm still a huge fan of the original..." she said with a nod before continuing. "Here's what I need you to do. We are going to make three straight lines facing the North wall of the classroom...you need to be about arms' length apart from each other..." she waited for them to re-situate.
With a flick of her wand, a video played on the screen.
She smiled at the class as the video ended..."So here's how it goes...everyone place your hands on the shoulders of the student in front of you...the moves go...step out and back in with your right foot twice...then twice with your left foot...then we are going to hop forward once, backward twice, and then forward three times and repeat...and the whole line will move like a little inchworm together..." As she said each direction, she modeled it at the front of the classroom.
"Let's do each move by ourselves first and then we will connect and give it a try..." she said encouragingly...
OOC: Alright everyone have fun RPing learning and doing the Bunny Hop. I'll be back this evening and we'll start our next dance (3/4)...have fun with this but keep your talking to a minimum....*huggles*
Sierra paused when the professor spoke up. At first, she thought she'd lucked out and class was about to be dismissed. She'd even gone as far as cracking a tiny smile, yet that smile diminished seconds later. They were doing the Chicken Dance...again?! She inwardly rolled her eyes and then danced along with the professor.
Finally, the excruciating noise came to an end, and Sierra was once again filled with the hope that this ridiculous class had also come to an end. ...but no. She wasn't so lucky. Apparently, they were starting on a completely new type of dance. Why, Cerulean, why?!
...and not only that, she would need to touch the shoulders of the person in front of her. Could the professor NOT have chosen something with no human contact?! Sierra frowned as she got into position. ...and then the dance began.
Right foot, right front...
Left foot, left foot...
Hop forward...
Hop backward...
Hop, hop, hop...
As the dance progressed, Sierra felt more and more nauseated. Was she sick? Of course not. This dance was so far out of her comfort zone, though, that it wasn't even funny.

She stared as the video was played in front. They were actually going to perform that ? NOOOOOO !!!!!
Beezus breathed heavily as she approached the refreshments table and got herself a bottle of water. The other students begun filing up on their lines and she was required to do so to. But why ? Why did they seem to enjoy this but not her ?
She placed the bottle back on the table and hesitantly approached the line more crowded with youngsters. She didn't even dare look at those around her. Better just hop and hop to get this all done over with.
As the music started playing, they all hopped and moved to the jive.

Zhenya giggled at the video! It was so old! But it looked like such fun.
"Well Desiree, Raven, Shall we?" she said, starting off. It took her a few moments to compose herself, but she eventually did. Standing up straight she put her right leg out, her left leg out, jumped forward, back and then forward 3 times. It was FUN!!

He held onto Minnie's shoulder and they all did the Bunny hop together which was a bit difficult at first to try and keep in sync but soon Harvey was in sync with the rest. He was having fun doing the Bunny Hop with his friends. Soon he was laughing like he did with the chicken dance as they all did the Bunny Hop together, this was so much fun.

"The Bunny Hop! The Bunny Hop!! The Bunny Hop!! The Bunny Hop!!" Alyssa just hoped that she wasn't making too much noise, but she couldn't help herself from chanting. She was having loads of fun.
Victoria rolled her eyes slightly. Most of the time, Muggle Study lesson is actually quite fun. But this time, THEY HAVE TO DANCE? Not her idea of fun.
"Hello Kennedy." said Victoria as she put her hands on his newly met Snake and hopped along with the rest of the class. "It's not a very pleasant dance is it?" Victoria said to Kennedy while they hopped and danced. "Muggles are always thinking of odd and crazy things."
Kennedy turned to see who had touched him and slightly grinned. "Hey, Victoria," he said, then shook his head, "I'm not much of a fan of dancing." Especially dances like these that made him do silly things.
Muggles?
He didn't quite agree with that. "Not always, I-I mean, these dances we're doing are really old," he said. He still considered himself a muggle even if he wasn't one. Plus, wizards had weird dances, too.
He continued dancing, sticking out his left leg...then right...then hop, hop, hop.
A ship in harbor is safe — but that is not what ships are built for.

William got in the group and did the dance. William sticks out his right leg twice, then his left leg twice. He hopped goward once, then back once and the three times forward. William repeated these etapes again. He got it.

First things first, she needed to do the movement on her own before she latched herself onto Selina. She picked up her right foot and tapped it twice on the ground, and then repeated the motion with her left. Flicking her gaze up to the video, she felt lost already, so she continued to tap her feet until it looped back around and she could try to pick up the rest. Oh, so she hopped after tapping.
Right foot. Tap tap.
Left foot. Tap Tap.
Hop forwards. Hop.
Hop backwards. Hop.
And three times forwards. Hop hop hop.
"Want to conjure or transfigure some rabbit ears?" she asked jokingly. No magic was allowed in Muggle Studies, so it was out of the question, but it would be fitting. Maybe they could just use their hands? Kurumi set both of her hands on top of her head like rabbit ears.
Yes, whenever Selina was around she felt ten times less awkward.

Probably much like the phoenix dance he had suggested earlier and sure enough as the professor had shown them what to do it was confirmed. Gideon swallowed remembering an embarishing moment and stayed in place letting his classmates dance along with Professor Cerulean. And he was more then glad when they moved on not that the bunny hop looked any less...embarishing.
Realizing he might as well get into it, Gideon decided to tag along with a few friends. At least then he'd be in good company especially seeing as Kurumi seemed to get the hang of the dances. Though he hoped Selina wouldn't take too much joy in his ackwardness.
"Mind if I join you two?"
Two? Last time Kurumi checked there were three of them, but Gideon probably didn't associate Jonathan, a Slytherin, as being a part of their little group. The lions and a snake. Sounded like the title of a really bad television show.
"Sure," Kurumi nodded. "The Bunny Hop is a conga after all." It made sense that you would perform it with more than just yourself. Conga for one? That was rather lonely.
Kurumi's hands were still on her head, but she was standing behind Selina. Oh, um, maybe she shouldn't be standing there. Gideon would want to be the one in her spot, right? But then that meant that she was supposed to put her hands on Gideon's waist and that made her feel even more awkward.
Not knowing really what to do, Kurumi continued practicing with her hands on top of her head like floppy rabbit ears.
Right foot. Tap tap.
Left foot. Tap Tap.
Hop forwards. Hop.
Hop backwards. Hop.
Hop forwards. Hop hop hop.

Jonathan stopped and starred as the next video came up. This time the dance is called "The Bunny Hop" what is it with muggles and animal names? Do they find this bunny hop dance move possibly cute? And by judging it by the video it could not get worse! As soon as he came back to his sense, he saw another Gryffindor join them too. Selina's partner? Jonathan hasn't met this guy before.
Moving on the the next dance the bunny hop is easy as well. Jonathan position himself together with Kurumi, of course his partner. And lifted his foot to start. So it's: Right foot first and then tap, tap.
Left foot next and then tap, tap.
Hop forward hop and then hop backward hop.
Hop forward again and then hop hop hop.
What in Merlin's name is this? Jonathan's eyes moved to Kurumi. He wanted t know how she was doing , in case she was finding this one hard--- but that's impossible. This is not one of those complicated dances. If Jonathan could manage to do it... so can she.
And he was right. Looking at Kurumi, who is just beside him, made him laugh. Not at her though but at this dance. First there was the funny chicken dance and now they had to deal with the bunny hop. "I remembered the time you lost your shoe." yeah, she was hopping like a bunny. It was cute.

What if the professor didn't like the comment and took off points from Slytherin? "It makes me feel like a five year old," he grinned, sheepishly. He used to dance these dances when he was in Kindergarden. Hehe.
"I guess," he shrugged, although his cousin had dance a weird dance, which he did not want to demonstrate.

Desiree watched the new video trying to suppress her laughter, it was pretty funny, but it was no where near as bad as the chicken dance. What was it with muggle dances being named after animals anyway?
Noticing Zhenya already starting she grinned and joined in with her friend making a two person line, Right foot, right foot, left foot, left foot, jump back, and jump forward three times, Annndd repeat. Desiree couldn't help but smile, this was surprisingly fun, as long as she didn't step on Zhenya's feet, so far so good!

Kurumi stopped mid-hop when Jonathan brought up her lost shoe. That shoe was still stuck to the floor of the corridor in fact. She stopped by to visit it every once in a while to polish it and remove any dust that may have gathered on it. She was holding out for the charm or whatever to be removed at the end of the term so she could get her shoe back. Thankfully, her mother hadn't asked too many questions and had bought her a new pair of brown shoes.
"Yeah...my shoe," she said with a forced wibble. "Guess I got my practice in for this dance without even knowing it."
Kurumi tapped her feet and hopped a bit more, hands still on her head making rabbit ears, until she figured she had put it off for far too long. She glanced back at the video and became a bit confused since some people where doing it with their hands on the person in front of them's shoulders while others were on their waist, but Kurumi was too short to reach Jonathan's shoulders, so his waist would have to do.
"Alright, time to make a line I guess," she smiled as she HOPPED behind Jonathan and put her hands on his waist. "Selina, you can go behind me and then Gideon behind you." That way they could avoid most of the awkwardness, right? "Let's hop to it!"

First things first, she needed to do the movement on her own before she latched herself onto Selina. She picked up her right foot and tapped it twice on the ground, and then repeated the motion with her left. Flicking her gaze up to the video, she felt lost already, so she continued to tap her feet until it looped back around and she could try to pick up the rest. Oh, so she hopped after tapping.

He simply nodded in greeting knowing there was no point in correcting his words now. "Aye, true," he replied in agreement as he turned his gaze fully to Kurumi who had essentially reminded they would all be dancing together anyway, it just mattered placement in line.
Looking to Selina to see her view on things, he caught sight of various classmates already practicing the moves in place. Gideon watched more a bit feeling the real life demonstration was far more clearer then the recorded one. Biting his lip, he moved to try it himself, silently hoping not to look too silly.

Mina grabbed her bottle of water and proceeded to take a drink. She wasn't happy with the last dance and she still felt a bit foolish about it. Looking like a fool wasn't some thing wasn't used to, but having everyone see her was another thing. Silliness had its place and she just didn't think its place was there at the moment.
Shaking away her concerns, she went to find a place in one of the lines and watched the video. The Bunny Hop didn't seem all that bad to her and she was pretty sure that she wouldn't look completely foolish doing this one.
Standing with her arms up, she attempted to follow along.

"I should have bought you shoes instead of the scarf" he smiled. Nah, he liked the scarf gift. This was just more of teasing Kurumi. Jonathan looked at the video again and again. One practice is enough, so he doesn't really want to do it again. It's fun and all but he can't just pull himself to hop some more.
The next step was to put your hands onto your partners shoulder. So he's quite surprise that Kurumi put her hands onto his waist. He didn't oppose though, in fact he's practically okay with it.
"D-d-do I have to be in front?" if he's in front then it means he has to lead right? So he waited for everyone to prepare themselves before they all start hoping some more.

Jez narrowed her eyes at Scott, while doing the Bunny Hop with the rest of the class. Okay, she'd give him the Chicken dance, just this once. Her competitive streak was still intact, and it was screaming for a rematch. So Jez decided to learn the Bunny Hop as best she could, and then do it far better than Scott. Zealous? Maybe. In it to win it? Definitely.
