As you enter the Muggle Studies classroom, you instantly notice that it has been changed to match the lesson again. The room seems to go on forever and each wall is covered by mirrors. The floor is a hardwood floor and there are chairs lining the west and east walls. In the distance, you can hear a variety of Muggle songs playing. They all have a great rhythm that make you want to jump up and dance.
From the ceiling is hanging a mirrored ball, also known as a Disco Ball. There are also a variety of lights and laser machines hanging around the room. The lights are just dimmed slightly.
In the middle of the room on the East side, there is a break in the chairs and there is a table covered with Muggle refreshments. This time there are no cokes or sodas. This time there are bottles of water and Gatorade and a huge punch bowl full of a pink punch. The bowl has been charmed to instantly refill itself when it gets low. The water and Gatorade are iced down and have been charmed to refill as well. There is also a cake in the shape of a musical note but it is encased in a safety charm to insure that no one touches it until the time has come.
In the middle of the room on the West side, there is a break in the chairs where a dry erase board sits. On the board, the professor has left the following note:

Welcome to our second Muggle Studies Lesson!!!
Please come in and have a seat in one of the chairs lining the walls! Also don't forget to grab a drink from the refreshment table. Trust me you are going to need it....
Class will begin shortly!

Please come in and have a seat. You may chat but keep it to a minimum. Remember that when class starts, you need to cut out chatting. Also don't post yourself coming in late, Gemma hates late arrivals and will not give you a warning, she will deduct points from the first time you are late.

Elise stared at Professor Cerulean, refusing to believe that they had to do this.
Staring at her other classmates, she gave in... Not happily, though...
And she started to do the chicken dance.
Cluck. Flap. Twist! This is embarrassing! Elise thought as she cursed the person who thought up dance.
Cass turned to her left and grinned when she saw a first year looking uncomfortable as she clucked and flapped her chicken 'wings'. Not that she enjoyed the girl's discomfort, of course not, but she did find it rather..peculiar that someone doesn't find it enjoyable to just let go...
So she dropped her arms to her sides and tapped the girl's shoulder and asked with a friendly smile "It's usually more fun with a friend. Wanna be my partner?" Really, it would be total waste of time to not enjoy a lesson like this.

"Hi Ira, nice to meet you" Willaim told her. " I have never done this Chicken dance at all" William told Ira.
If I did not look funny, I would be doing the wrong dance" William laughed. "Thanks for the compliment" William smiled. " A very good idea, a variation of the dance and I bow to the "Dancing Queen" William explained to Ira as he bowed before her. " If we need partnere in any of the dances, would you be my partner, please?" William asked Ira.
William seemed a good guy! "Of course William I'd love to be your partner!" Ira chuckled as he made a show of bowing in front of her...
"Don't you feel this is rather silly? I mean, look at us! I'm feeling a bit embarrassed...What about you? This must be feeling weird for you dancing for the first time, right? So shall we do it together in step?"
Daichi was highly liking this dance, it was different than from what he practised in front of the mirror at home. Ahem. The music was rather slow but when he got the feeling to it he automatically started to move faster, a rhythm was playing in his head.
Beak beak beak , Flap flap flap , wiggle wiggle
"ONE MORE TIME~" He shouted in his own enthusiasm and started to Beak beak beak , Flap flap flap , wiggle wiggle and skip again .
Teehee.
Jumping slightly, Thea heard a familiar voice shouting. Her face splitting into a grin, she looked around for liddol Daichi. Aha! She stood watching him as he got very excited. Dancing her way over, she popped hersle fon the dot nearest to him. 'Having fun, chick?' She winked, quickly tossing her dark hair over her shoulder. She should of possibly tied it up.. too late for that now!
Wiggling along with him, she laughed at his expression. Watching herself in the mirror, she stopped. What was she doing? Lord alive. When she said she liked danicng, she totally did not mean this type of dancing.. Sheesh.

Gemma flicked her wand and instantly all of the student's answers for Muggle Dances appeared on the blank dry erase board.
She glanced over the list with a smile and then turned back to the class. "Yes yes yes, very good everyone! These are all great examples of Muggle dances. " she waved her hand and the four screens dropped from the ceiling and unfolded quickly. Under each screen was a name of a Muggle Dance: Chicken Dance, Cha Cha Slide, Cupid Shuffle, and Bunny Hop.
She smiled at the class, "Now just like we have traditions that we do at weddings and dances and events so do Muggles. And many of these traditions have to do with crazy dances that the Muggles do just for fun. Some of these dances are more embarrassing than others but they are all in good faith. " she paused and walked towards the first screen that said Chicken Dance under it.
"The first dance we are going to learn is the chicken dance. " she waved her hand and a video played with an example of the chicken dance. "Now remember these are all in good fun and this dance really doesn't require you to have any major dance ability just the willingness to laugh and have fun." she paused as the video started.
As soon as she was done showing each of the moves she turned back to the students and then said, "Okay let's give it a try..." instantly the music started going very slowly and it was time to do the Chicken Dance.
OOC: Alright everyone have fun RPing learning and doing the Chicken Dance. I'll be back in the morning and we'll start our next dance...have fun with this but keep you talking to a minimum....*huggles*

This was histerical to watch. All the students dancing like chickens it was something to laugh at. Except that Ness knew she'd be joining them soon meant that this was going to be the most humilating thing ever especially in the monster suit. Akwardly Ness attempted to copy the Professor. Okay so it was beak thingy three times and then the wings, then the clapping and then the twist. after that it was just the skiping part and then she would be done. She got it now she just had to dance it.
Embaressed Ness took her two hands and put them in the shape of a beak. She then quickly did the beak move three times.
*beak* *beak* *beak*
Now she moved onto the flapping..which looked really funny. With her monster suit on she looked like a real chicken all she needed to do was make the same sounds as chickens made, but of course she was not going to do that.
*flap* *flap* *flap*
Three more moves to go. Ness clapped her hands relieved to do something a little more normal looking.

She was almost done. Trying to wiggle her bum to much she did the twist.

As Aaron was doing his own thing she couldn't exactly do the last part so she left it out untill he got back to focus.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

The Slytherin had closed his eyes while dancing and when he opened them again he saw that Thea had stopped dancing. Looking away from the mirror and to face the Gryffindor, Daichi nudged her in the side. "Yah! dance~!" he shouted a little louder than he wanted but his excitment was too great.

Thea stared blankly at the boy. Had he lost his mind?? This wasn't dancing in Thea's book. Wa. 'If I had a camera, I would be taking snap shots of you doing this dance..' She stated, giggling quietly.
It was madness how much fun the kid was having! It was like some sort of explosion of.. happiness. *Shudder*. Stepping back slightly, her converse squeaking, Thea dodged an elbow as he 'flapped'.
However, she did laugh out loud as he began to skip around her. Covering her mouth as she laughed, she stood and watched him. Merlin, he was really LOUD when he was excited.. 'Diachi, simmer down. This is only the first dance y'know..' Thea rolled her eyes, but couldn't keep herself from laughing as she caught sight of him again. The boy was going to injure himself.. or somebody else. Either one wasn't particularly good. Thea scanned the room for the professor, praying she would change to a different dance soon.

Jez laughed as Scott tried it too. "That's it!" He looked utterly embarrassed, but he was keeping it up. She stuck her tongue out at him as she danced, a challenge to do it better than her. She hoped he accepted it. Jez hadn't had this much fun in ... well, a long time! It was just so incredibly stupid that it was the best time dancing she'd ever had!
Scott gave her a look at screamed 'Really? Do I have to do this?' before continuing the dance.
He couldn't resist a challenge, even if it did involve dancing, his one pet hate.
He smiled whilst flapping, twisting and clapping to make sure she knew that he was much better than her at this.
Kurumi smiled as Jonathan joined her. They flapped and wiggled together. Who knew that the Chicken Dance could bring people a little closer. If she was the comfortable dancing like a fool in front of Jonathan, that was a very good thing, right? "We would all make terrible chickens," she laughed as she started the dance over again, this time picking up the speed a little bit.
"Actually, the song wasn't originally about chickens, but ducks. It was called The Duck Dance," she said as she moved onto the twisting part. Twist twist twist. "After a while, it was called the Little Bird Dance or Birdie Dance, in Europe. When the song went to America is was called the Chicken Dance." Okay, so maybe she wasn't 100% comfortable since she was rambling off random facts. Jonathan and Selina could appreciate her rambling of facts, right?
Now back to the first part, the beak snapping. "I don't want to be a chicken," beak beak beak. "I don't want to be a duck," flap flap flap. "So I just cluck cluck cluck." Twist twist twist.
Selina was starting to enjoy herself a little bit when Kurumi came over. If she was going to look ridiculous it would be in front of Kurumi. The two girls knew more about each other than anyone else... so Selina could spare being a chicken. But Johanathan, that made things more complicated. Not that she minded that he was here. She smiled at him and continued to do the dance a little, but she was self conscious. She didn't know him that well and Kurumi and Selina still needed to talk about the whole boy thing. Johnathan was definitely in the picture for Kurumi. But had they talked? She doubted it.
So when Kurumi start to spout off random facts Selina knew she was uncomfortable. "Kurumi... that's all very well, but I REALLY don't want to be chicken and I REALLY don't want to be a duck... so this dance can kiss my bum."

Minerva all of the sudden heard the music change. She grabbed Harvey and started twirling around with him. Music: Da da da dooo da doo doo, da da da dooo da doo doo. She laughed as they did the polka part.

She yelled over at Penny, "I'm having so much fun doing this dance. I bet the other dances are going to be just as fun to do. I can't wait to learn the next one."

The other girl thought it was funny to FLAP in her face? Well Tori would show her FLAPPING. "BOK BOK BOKKKKKKK!" the redhead squawked instead of rising to her enemy's bait. She jabbed her elbows out nice and wide and came thisclose to actually squashing Sierra in the face.
She was an AWESOME dancer, obviously.

Kourtney couldn't help but giggle at the older girl who was flapping her arms and clucking like a chicken. Too funny! Though there were some flaps that were coming mighty close to hitting people square in the face and that...was not very funny.
She edged herself a little closer to her dot on the floor and continued to dance. Beak, beak for four counts. Open close, open close, open close, open close. Then chicken wings flapping for four counts. Duh-duh-duh-da-duh-dun.
Twist, twist, twist, twist, And Clap, clap, clap, clap!
She wondered for a moment if the professor would speed up the music. She knew that the DJ often would do so and it was so much fun going super fast!

Harvey was still enjoying the chicken dance on his own when suddenly out of the blue Minnie grabbed him and started doing the polka part with him. From out of nowhere energy doubled within him and he was dancing with more energy than ever. He could not believe AT ALL that he was dancing with Minnie again, didnt matter that it was the chicken dance. Harvey enjoyed this dance as much as he could, as for many days now he had been wanting to dance with Minnie but didnt know how to ask her since... well since.... since they became friends again. He could not believe that he was dancing with her, his heart was beating faster than every before. He decided to enjoy dancing with Minnie as he didnt know when he would get to dance with her again. Harvey was laughing like he had never laughed before EVER!!! He couldnt stop looking at her enjoying this dance

Even super-competitive Jez had to admit Scott was a challenge to beat. She grinned at him, dancing harder, laughing out loud. They'd need a judge at this rate, because Jez wasn't backing down. Although she had to wonder what dance they'd be doing next ...
Hey the chicken dance. She knew this dance back from when she when to a baseball game in the states a few years ago. It was pretty fun after she learned it. She stood around watching the other making becks with there hands, Flapping there arms then twist and clap. She laughed watching the others for a moment. Then.......

Silly Poka music if she knew anything the people around her she would have linked arms and danced in circles with them. She was having WAY to much fun to be by herself.

"If he has won many competitions he must be a great dancer! And yeah, you know what I think? There should be a dancing competition here at Hogwarts. It would be interesting and fun, don't you think?" Her old muggle school had so many activities and competitions...
For Ira, anything other than studies was fun! Even chicken dancing! "I'm loving Muggle Studies class more and more day by day! It is soo fun to not study anything serious but play games and dance!" Ira exclaimed..
"So shall we do the twirling part now? I mean we hook our elbows and twirl around?" Ira asked as they continued dancing.

Carter was doing his best not to freak out with Evelyn being so close to him. What if she randomly decided to charge or something? (And yes, sometimes Carter pictured Evelyn as a charging rhino.)
Whyyyy was Evelyn shoving him? He lost his balance and moved over sidestepped . Maybe Evelyn just liked his spot better?
"I didn't do anything!" he whispered to her. Or maybe he did. He didn't know. He just was getting glared at. Evelyn wasn't very good at communicating what was happening.

He linked his arm into Evelyn's and proceeded to do the little polka part.
Once that was over he faced straight forward and continued dancing. He was determined to avoid all eye contact with Evelyn. Why? Because he'd just given Evelyn a reason to glare at him.

Evelyn kept silent and just continued to glare at him as if that would make him realize just exactly what he was doing. SCOFF! Gryffindors. Sometimes she wished she could just capture one and analyze their brains until they actually had a brain. Of course, any negative thoughts towards the lot excluded her boyfriend at all times unless a decent exception was made. It didn't happen often though.
Before she knew it however, Carter had linked arms with her and she was being dragged around in a circle like some type of rag doll by a troll. Mouth agape and stumbling over her feet, Evelyn finally sucked in enough air to scoff loudly. SCOFF!
No. No no. No no no no no no, she did not do this, and she especially didn't do this with HIM.
Untangling herself, she whacked him lightly a few times on his shoulders and arms to get him away from her, words failing to appear. Oh Merlin, get the germs off. Carter germs were on her. It was UNACCEPTABLE to do that to her without asking first. She was not mentally prepared for the situation.

Sarah looked a bit disgusted. Chicken dance, really? Was she kidding? No. Didn't seem so. Sarah looked around to see everyone try it, with wide smiles on their faces. Wouldn't hurt to try. Sarah listened to the music and started doing it.

Hehe. This really looks like fun. Sarah saw a girl dance alone. She moved towards her, dancing as she did. "Fun shouldn't be done alone." she called, when she reached near her. "I'm Sarah, by the way." she said.
When he took the time to look around at how silly everyone looked he grew a little self conscious, but then again, everyone was doing it. No one could point fingers and laugh, unless they wanted the same done to them. This comforted Eino, so as the music came back around Eino got ready for another go at the dance. Beak, beak, beak, beak. Flap, flap, flap, flap. Twist, twist, twist. Clap, clap, clap, clap. As he did he watched himself in the mirror, which didn't really help. Maybe if he had to do this one or two years ago he wouldn't mind it as much, but after this class it would all be forgotten. Hopefully... The music came around again time and he continued to dance.
