As you enter the Muggle Studies classroom, you are instantly reminded, or introduced, to the fact that Professor Cerulean always tries to transform her class to match the lesson of the day.
The room is covered in large multicolored Muggle bean bags scattered all over the floor. These bean bags have been charmed with extra cushioning charm to make them even more comfortable. Beside each bean bag is a little lap desk for you to place in your lap and use for notes during the class. The floor feels extra cushiony as well although it seems to be the normal tile floor of all of the classrooms.
The walls and ceiling are draped with different bright colors of drapes. It's a little overwhelming but enchanting at the same time.
In the corner, there is a table of refreshments (something the Professor always tries to have at her lessons.). But this time the table is full of Muggle treats. There is a bowl of ice filled with various Muggle sodas from Cokes to Cherry Cokes to Dr. Peppers to Sprite, etc. Beside that bowl is another iced bowl full of bottles of various colored and flavored drinks labeled Gatorade. There are two other bowls on the table: one is full of mini Muggle chocolate candies from Snickers to Twix to Milky Way bars to M&Ms, etc.; the other is full of more chewy flavors of Muggle candy such as Skittles, Dots, Jelly Beans, Twizzlers, etc. There are small bags at the end of the table for you to fill up with these goodies if you would like. Each of the four bowls is enchanted to automatically refill itself when it starts becoming low.
Various forms of Muggle music can be heard playing softly in the background. Anything from rock to pop to calm rap to R&B to Country can be heard in the mix.
There is a small raised platform at the front of the Muggle Studies classroom where a strange white board that looks like a chalkboard stands. It is known as a dry erase board and is a very Muggle inventions. Written on it in various colors of markers is a message from the Professor.

Amethyst smiled wide as she walked over to the games. The one game in particular, though, was at the very top of one of the stacks. She grunted, seeing as how she was a lot shorted. "Man, I want Apples to Apples..." Just as she said this, the stack of cards glided down from the top and into her hands. She smiled and went back to her seat. It was her favorite game, aside from Hungry Hungry Hippos.

Hmm..Kourtney rose from her seat as instructed by the professor and walked over to one of the stacks. Which game....which game....Well, she might as well take the game that she suggested earlier in class.
"Chutes and Ladders." She spoke, pleased when the game moved straight into her hands. Turning, she walked back to her seat and waited further instructions. This was a game she remembered playing when she was younger...like around 6 or 7 years old, with her parents. She had always laughed when she sent one of her parents pieces cruising down the chute back to the bottom.

"And many of your classmates have already listed a great variety of board games. These can include my favorites, Monopoly, Life, Twister, Sorry, Scrabble, etc." she paused as she pointed to each of these games in the tower of games.
She flicked her wand and stacks of board games appeared all over the class. "I would like to invite each one of you to come up to a stack of games near you and grab a board game that looks interesting to you." she said as each of the stacks shook and shimmied magically.
OOC: Just rp your charrie coming up and choosing a game. I've added a list of some possible games but feel free to add any that you like but just make sure they are BOARD GAMES. The stacks will not fall on you so please don't act like they will. They have been enchanted to give you any game that you walk up and say the name of. Remember to keep chatting down because Gemma is still here watching over you!!!
Alyssa loved playing board games and there were so many to choose from but she wanted one that where she could just have fun and not have to strategize too much, so she walked up to the stack of games and asked for JENGA. That game would just require a VERY STEADY hand.
The box quickly slipped out of the stack and into her waiting arms. Smiling down at it, Alyssa quickly sat back on her bean bag.

Zhenya stood up and walked over to the pile closest to her and said "Cranium Please," and a box removed itself from the pile and she grabbed it.
She went to sit back down with her friends, unsure as to what they would be doing with these games. Playing them? Hopefully!

Kurumi waited in line along with everyone else knowing which game she wanted to get her hands on. She heard several people mention some of the games, but it wasn't like the professor only had ONE of each game, right? There were hundreds of students in the school and only having one of each would mean that maybe 20 of those students got games.
Her eyes scanned the table as she looked for the vibrant red box, noticing a few other students snatch it up. Merlin people were fast! But then she saw another one towards the back right corner of the table and leaned over to grab it. "Professor, is it alright if I also take Apples to Apples?" she asked with the box already in her hand. She was hoping that their homework would be to play it and report back. She was eagerly wanting to play it in the common room.

Nate saw the Gryffindor Prefect also go retrieve an Apples to Apples game, and decided to invite her to the two player 'game' he was waiting to be ready to start. "Hey, would you like to join us?" he called out, hoping she heard.

There were sooooooo many to chose from but that Guess Who seemed particularly interesting. Eino approached them all and took a good look at each and every one of them, but he really wanted to play the Guess Who game! "I would like to play-- I mean study this one very much, Professor." He could study it by playing it, right? Plus, Professor Cerulean wasn't mean enough to lure them with games and then not let them play a bit, even if it was for homework.

Wow. Board games. What a great way to make her, well...bored. No pun intended. Couldn't they just go outside and face off in a mean game of Quidditch? Oh. Right. This was Muggle Studies.

Sierra approached the massive stack of games. Ehh. She was as equally uninterested in one as she was the other. In other words, it really didn't matter what she ended up with. Nothing looked any better than the other in her eyes. She randomly pointed to one and said, "Cl--..."

She adjusted her finger slightly to the right and said, "I'll take 'Guess Who'." A rectangular box depicting many different types of faces slid out the stack and right into her hands. She eyed it for a second and then returned to her seat.

Mina glanced up at the tower of games and bit her lip. There were so many choices to pick from but as her eyes landed on one, she smiled. The box looked familiar and part of her thought it was funny how she was drawn to it. "Life, please."
As the box floated down into out stretched arms, she looked at the box again. Really how funny was it she wanted to play this when her own life was at the moment like a game that was out of control.

After all, he had just then met his first Hufflepuff friend! "I guess we could all meet up somewhere on the grounds and play, then?"
Jesifur spotted the Hungry hippos game, the one she played as a young child. She walked up to the pile. "Hungry hippos please" she asked politely. She got the game and made her way back to her seat.
Selina nodded at her Professor and hoped up from her seat. Once she was up on her feet she made her way over to the board games and started to shift through them for the one that she wanted to get. Then she found the game she was looking for and looked up at her Professor and said, "Chess please." It was no wizards chess, but it was less messy and she knew that she would at least know how the game worked.

Isobel looked at the large stack of games. She had no idea what to play, she hadn't heard of a lot of them. She decided to play one she had never heard of, it would be more fun. Apples to Apples? What was that? It sounded juicy and delicious. She walked up to the front of the room, because she was not sure if they were going to play yet. "Apples to Apples please?" And it flew off the stack and into her hands.
Were they going to play games? Kennedy grinned at the idea. Something different for a change. He stood up and walked over the stack of games. His eyes roamed the titles until he finally decided on which one he'd like to play. "Checkers, please," he said. Kennedy hasn't played this game in a long while, so it would be fun to see if his Checkers skills were still up to date or not.
