As you enter the Muggle Studies classroom, you are instantly reminded, or introduced, to the fact that Professor Cerulean always tries to transform her class to match the lesson of the day.
The room is covered in large multicolored Muggle bean bags scattered all over the floor. These bean bags have been charmed with extra cushioning charm to make them even more comfortable. Beside each bean bag is a little lap desk for you to place in your lap and use for notes during the class. The floor feels extra cushiony as well although it seems to be the normal tile floor of all of the classrooms.
The walls and ceiling are draped with different bright colors of drapes. It's a little overwhelming but enchanting at the same time.
In the corner, there is a table of refreshments (something the Professor always tries to have at her lessons.). But this time the table is full of Muggle treats. There is a bowl of ice filled with various Muggle sodas from Cokes to Cherry Cokes to Dr. Peppers to Sprite, etc. Beside that bowl is another iced bowl full of bottles of various colored and flavored drinks labeled Gatorade. There are two other bowls on the table: one is full of mini Muggle chocolate candies from Snickers to Twix to Milky Way bars to M&Ms, etc.; the other is full of more chewy flavors of Muggle candy such as Skittles, Dots, Jelly Beans, Twizzlers, etc. There are small bags at the end of the table for you to fill up with these goodies if you would like. Each of the four bowls is enchanted to automatically refill itself when it starts becoming low.
Various forms of Muggle music can be heard playing softly in the background. Anything from rock to pop to calm rap to R&B to Country can be heard in the mix.
There is a small raised platform at the front of the Muggle Studies classroom where a strange white board that looks like a chalkboard stands. It is known as a dry erase board and is a very Muggle inventions. Written on it in various colors of markers is a message from the Professor.

Muggle games? Raven knew some of them, because most of her friends were muggles
"Professor." then she raised up her hand "I know some them. There are UNO card, muggle chess, crossword puzzle, scrabble, LEGO, jigsaw puzzle, LUDO, poker card, etc."
Ira excitedly raised her hand high up and answered, "There are many outdoor games like hockey, football, tennis etc, though the most popular game in my country is cricket! In it thre are 2 teams of 11 members each and one of them starts batting and another fielding...Its very exciting. Also in indoor, I used to love to play carrom, wherein there is a square board having holes or pockets in each corner and we have to strike the coins with dice and put the into the pockets"
Ira was suddenly nostalgic as she remembered her home...
Games? Muggle games? Well, no offense but who cared about Muggle Games? Who cared about Wizard games unless it was Quidditch? As far as Selina was concerned Quidditch was the only game worth any value. She didn't mean to sound petty, but even gobstones and exploding snap was inferior to the little third year.
She then raised her hand and wracked her brains for an answer, "Professor, my Grandfather plays solitaire. Would you consider that a game?"

"How about tic tac toe?" Nora suggested with her hand in the air.
She only hoped that professor Cerulean won't ask her how to play it, because she had no idea. Just something with X's and O's, or something like that. And... the name sounded funny, but how in the world should she knew muggle games and rules when she didn't play any?
William raised his hand. " There is a board game called Risk" William told the professor. " Boys and girls play a game in the swimming pool called Marco Polo" William said to the professor. " There is a game called baseball played by muggles " William explained to the professor.
Isabelle raised her hand nearly jumping up and down. She had a Muggle obsession. Of couse she would know Muggle games. "Well Professor there are many board game like, Monopoly, Life, Sorry, and Clue. Then there are also carnival games, my favorite. One example is you compete against people shooting water into a little hole. The first person who gets the water to the top wins. When you win you get prizes. I beat my sister at it three times, Isabelle smiled popping a mint into her mouth.
For Janice, this isn't a hard question. She had played Muggle games in her whole life.
"There is 20 Questions. We ask questions about an object, the one who can answer in the least questions asked is the winner..."

Ummm...?
Evelyn had never heard of any of these games, nor did she think she had seen them before when she 'observed' the muggles. The most she'd seen was soccer, and she'd learned about a few other sports in class but none of these.
But there was one she was sure no one mentioned yet. She'd seen some little kids playing it. Raising her hand, she settled back on her bean bag chair before answering. "What about that one that you hop on one leg in those squares?" It was rather weird.
Games. Muggle games? Come on I have to know something. Suddenly she remembered this friend she had when she was little, Sophia. She used to go over to her house all the time and they would play.. this game where you hopped on one foot.. Hopscotch!
Raising her hand with a smile "Professor there's one called hopscotch" feeling like she should explain "It's a game where you throw a stone into these squares, and then stand on one foot and hop to that spot, pick it up, and then finish hopping the rest of the way." it was really fun, although she knew it probably sounded really childish.

Wow, each time she thought of one, someone else had raised their hand and said. Hopscotch, Red Rover, Life, Scrabble.... She raised her hand. "Someone mentioned chess, but there is a similar game that they play called checkers." That game was fun. She always beat her cousins at that one. "And also hangman, a puzzle game where players guess letters until they can solve the puzzle, but must be careful not to 'hang the man'"

Ohohoho.. board games! Salander grinned, he remembered a game from his childhood. Up goes the hand again "When I was a kid, my friends and I used to play Clue up at our treehouse. Its a murder-mystery game where there is this victim see, and players have to figure out who the murderer is, using which weapon and find out which room the crime was done." Yup loads of fun that game. Also loads of arguing heh.

Games? "Well, I think they play this thing called a puzzle?" Glenn thought of when she, her brother and sister had attempted to complete a 1000 piece puzzle and ended up losing half of the pieces instead. "They sort of...fit the pieces together to create a picture."

When Sal brought up Clue India couldn't help but light up like the sun. She loved clue. Clue was a cool. Clue was awesomely awesome. "I used to play clue all the time" she admitted - she had muggle family members - her Mom's sister's husbands family were all muggles. And she loved them to bits. And their sweets.
"My cousins play a game called Shutes and Ladders" she explained half-heartedly. Her mind was still on Clue and how much she wanted to play it.
Or just one day yell I Know who did it! It was Connel Mustard in the Library with the Rolling Pin. And with that she'd just quietly walk on and continue with her day. Leaving perplexed people in her wake.
Epic.

The young professor glanced from one student to the next thinking that eventually they would get the hint….but alas they didn’t…they continued to chat and chat and chat and even mention the fact that they were going to get in trouble for chatting but continued to do it…hello professor looking at you…
And then she had enough and did something that she had never done before…she cleared her throat and then spoke loudly over them, “Thea and Aaron, you know that chatting is not allowed once class has started….” She paused and then continued trying to keep her voice calm but she had had it with their chatting, “minus five points for each of you….” She said with a blank face…she hated taking points away but they were talking and talking and talking and talking and she had enough of it.
With a proud smile on her face, she continued the lesson, “What a great set of differences….and we could go on and on and on about the differences…” she paused glancing at the list again.
“But now let’s focus on something that is a major difference between the family structure of Muggles and Wizards, our games….” she flicked her wand and a huge stack of various Muggle games fell from the ceiling and landed on the stage next to her. It had to be over twelve feet tall.
“Can anyone name any Muggle games? They can be any type of game…” she asked knowing that it was an easy question for Muggles and that some Wizard children would know the answer.

Aaron groaned, that wasn't part of the plan. FIVE points! And he hadn't even received any points yet. He shrugged, he'd sort that stuff out. Maybe.
Games. Aaron loved games. His hand shot up, it was probably best to abide by her rules. 'Muggles play chess too, but the pieces don't move by themselves.' He nodded, those pieces had scared him when he first saw them. 'And Scrabble? You make words and stuff.'
No more Dr Pepper for the rest of class, Aaron thought and sighed, as much as he loved it, he didn't want to lose any more points.

Lana looked around curiously as each student answered a muggle game. She didn't know ANY of these games. And she didn't understand some of the concepts.
Why would you hop in squares? Why would you want to shoot a ladder? UNO?!
Lana propped up her arm and leaned her face on her fist. I am going to fail this class.

Everett didn't really know a lot of muggle things like games, being pureblood. Blinking for a few moments, he soon remembered one of the only muggle games he had played. Raising his hand, he answered. "Scarecrow tiggi, where lots of people play, and one or two people are it, and they chase and catch people, and then the person stand like a sacrecrow or a star, with arms and legs outwards, and to come back into the game someone has to go through their legs," Everett said. He wasn't too big on the game, but he had played it.

He glanced around the room cautiously, that was spy training, and hoped the professor didn't notice or hear them.
Smirking, Thea put her can down, and turned with a blank expression back to the professor. Woops.. 5?!?! Merh. This week was getting better and better. Yaay.

SPOILER!!: War Conversation
Gemma listened closely to the conversation about the wars and then finally decided to chime in, “I think you all have pretty valid ideas about the difference between wars in each society, but you have to remember that both Muggles and Wizards have had to deal with conflicts that ran across the oceans to other countries and that dealt with dictators or mad men that were only after self gain or self preservation…actually our histories can be very similar in a way when we analyze the way each society won their freedom from such men and notions….neither society has been innocent in their endeavors for creating such chaos…” She said hoping that would make each of them think about the similarities of each type of war over the years.
The professor smiled at the young girl and listened to her comment and then replied, “Well that’s not completely true, wizards can not produce food on their own using magic…that is one of those items that we cannot just produce… so there are some areas of the Wizarding Community that have had to deal with famine and a lack of food…just think about the great Potato Famine that both the Wizarding Community and Muggle Community had to deal with near Ireland…neither culter was spared from this famine…many times where there is a community with starving muggles there are wizards near or living in that community as well…” she said very matter of fact a little worried about some of the student’s understanding of wizards living within muggles.
The professor eyed the girl as she exploded on the others in the classroom, “ I’m sorry but that is not the way to handle the situation…first off, I will handle anything that I deem inappropriate…that is not your job at all…secondly, all that you have done is caused a bigger scene then was needed…Next time, mind your manners, and let discipline in my classroom be left to me…” she said politely but with a stinging edge to her words. “ I have not heard anything that is over the top or more than just some of these students not fully understanding Muggles and that is why we are here is to learn about them…but all you have done is caused more problems…have a seat…”
“Marie, we do not shoot down others’ opinions…do not let it happen again…” she said politely towards the young girl.
The professor wrinkled up her nose slightly and cocked her head to the side at the young boy’s reply, “Mr….” she let her words fade off to lead him to filling in his last name…”I am sorry to say that you have been misinformed about a lot of things in your statement. ” she paused and then continued, ”You are correct that they utilize airplanes to travel in the sky, but not all muggles sit on these airplanes for 18 hours and they def do not eat bugs and fish for survival and then go home…I think you need to check your sources and your facts before you share such crazy accusations.”
She focused back on the class and flicked her wand. Instantly a list of all of the answers appeared on the board behind her.
With a proud smile on her face, she continued the lesson, “What a great set of differences….and we could go on and on and on about the differences…” she paused glancing at the list again.

Thea's blank expression remained as points were took away. Pff.. whatever. The week obviously wasn't going to get any better, was it? Raising her hand, Thea focused on the question. 'Twister..' she replied simply. This was also, a stupid game. Her brothers had forced her to join in a game when they were younger; it resulted in her getting crushed when they all fell. The shapes you were made to go into were ridiculous..

Gasping Nessie looked at the Professor and then at Aaron. Hufflepuff had just lost five points thanks to him. She knew it wasn't much but with Professor Cerulean it was. She rolled her eyes at him and then went back to focusing on the lesson.
Muggle games..Ness loved all sorts of games, but she had to be homest muggle games were no where near as awesome as wizarding games. "Um..Professor I used to play a game called 30 seconds it's a pretty cool game." She didn't know how to expain her game properly but she knew it was a fun game.
Muggle Games, right.
What had Aurora and his other Muggle born friends taught him?
Scott reluctantly raised his hand. "Professor, there is a game that is played by small children, called hide and seek"
Hoping not to sound cheeky he continued "Pretty self explanatory" he smiled.
Ariella thought for a few minutes about her answer before raising her hand. She wanted to involve surfing her her answer, but didn't know if it was really considered a game. Well, it could be if you were just joking around with a friend, she guessed. "I grew up surfing, which is a sport in the ocean in which you paddle for a wave and then stand up on a board to ride the wave to shore. It's really thrilling and fun. I'm not really sure if that's considered a game, but it's extremely entertaining." She decided to throw in a real game to play it safe. "And an actual game example could be graveyard. It's a game where you have to keep as still and quiet as possible. If you make a noise or move and the judges catch you, you're out."
