"I just thought I'd have a talk with you." she said. "So..first of all, forget what I said back there..." she said looking out the window. Gideon was beginning to think no familiar faces were in this portion of the train, the four---no technically now a fifth year boy debating on turning around towards the back of the train or continuing forward to the front. "What should we do, Corvin?" he asked the raven nodding his head and beak in such a way he took it as forward so he continued to walk down the corridor . His movements at time weaves between other students as areas became more and more crowded.
It was then he heard his name and turned to a compartment that had a door cracked open. Walking closer he spotted Christopher and Selina as she registered the familiar voices better as Christopher continued to speak nervously. "There ye two are..." Gideon remarked pushing the door further open so he could move into the doorway, still curious as to the reason for the other boy's behaviour.
What had he walked into?
Oh thank Merlin. Gideon was here. Crisis adverted.
Right?
Christopher glanced over at Selina nervously, who looked just as confused as Gideon. What if she said something?! No, that could not happen. Whether or not she wanted to, he was going to try to force her to keep quiet by changing the subject. She couldn't say something embarrassing like that in front of anyone, let alone his actual friends. Friends were rare for him, so it'd be good not to lose any.
"WOW. LOOK. IT IS OUR FRIEND GIDEON," he said, still sounding nervous. Realizing he was annunciating every word and talking like a robot like he usually did when he was nervous, he ran his fingers through his hair and promptly shut his mouth.
After the couple still looked at him as if he were an alien species, he looked up sheepishly and asked, "So... erm.... are you guys... excited for.... summer?"
He was caught! Dead! A gonner! He couldn't lie to his sister, he couldn't! He wasn't that bad at lying and could usually get away with it. But what could a guy do? He'd been caught trying to read a book about getting girls. It wasn't something he wanted to admit to.
And then he saw Gideon slowly walking towards their door. Either Gideon was going to get to join the horrifying conversation too, or the conversation was changing fast. The door still a bit open so his roommate could hear, "OH LOOK. IT IS OUR FRIEND GIDEON. HE SHOULD JOIN US," he said in a rushed, obviously nervous tone.
Thank God for conversation changers like Gideon Gert.

Why did he have to be so awkward!?
Selina was suddenly very distracted when she heard a certain voice enter their compartment via Christopher's very enthusiastic response to the boy's sudden appearance. Then again, if it were anyone else besides Gideon Gert, she would have pressed the issue about the book Subconsciously she knew that it was just harmless. He was probably reading it for extraneous information.
She stood up suddenly when Gideon walked into the compartment without even noticing. Then she noticed that she was standing and felt very awkward doing so. She turned around and eyed Christopher to not say anything witty about her random standing.
"Um hello..." she smiled, "You wanna sit down, maybe stay a while?"
Christopher's question was sort of lost to her when he asked. She nonchalantly responded, "Yeah I guess so... just weird to be leaving."

Gideon glaced between both his friends Selina seeming...oftly quiet for the moment and Christopher uncharacteristically loud and annunciated. And repeating things he had already said stating the obvious for no apparent reason. That was something that only happened when he was nervous.
Yep...something was definitely up.
He watched as Selina stood up from her seat, not thinking anything of it at first. Perhaps she just needed to get up for a moment, not knowing how long she had been sitting exactly. "Hello," he returned, tilting his head to the side slightly still trying to peg things, his action disturbing Corvin causing the bird to take off and fly up to the racks to perch. "Aye...I guess we will be," he said in half-jest knowing he would have likely opted to say even without his familiar's reaction.
"I would say I am..." he answered pulling his trunk inside and gradually lifting it up to put out of the way. "I mean after a while one needs a break from the stresses especially after this terms end," he answered remarking as he finally sat down on the side of the traincompartment Selina was. The fourth year still not sure what to make of the excitement that had culminated at the end.

Phew! He was in the clear.
Not that they'd gotten that out of the way, Christopher was beginning to feel able to relax. Of course he was still a little nervous, but not as freaked out as before. Still, he sat rigidly and stared out the window for a while. That way maybe he'd turn invisible or something and wouldn't have to be too social. That wasn't exactly his strong suit, socializing.
Sitting acorss from the couple, he felt more awkard than ever. They were over there... being all couple-y, or whatever, and he was sitting there, looking around, unsure of what to say. After thinking quite hard about something to say for a while, while staring blankly at the two (he was spacing out, as usual, while he thought), his brain finally produced something that might've actually been worth actually speaking aloud without sounding even more like a nutter than he already was. "So, erm, Gideon. I mean, now that you and Selina are.... yeah, uh..... I mean.... Erm..... Are you going to be visiting.....? Over... the summer?"

Finally.
Ffffiiiinnnnaallllyyy.
Stepping onto the train, Ellie was so anxious to get going, and get to Dallin's house. It was probably 10 to 20 degrees warmer in Florida compared to Ireland. And there was the soft, white sand. The clear, blue water. The hot sun... Gah. She couldn't wait. It was like nothing was bad about the end of this school year.
Except, well... one thing. Amelia was leaving. Her parents were making her move to South Africa and Ellie was sad. They had just met and instantly clicked, but now she was leaving. And she didn't want her to leave. ):
Moving down the train, Ellie finally found an empty compartment and lugged her stuff inside. Once she was done, she flopped onto a seat and kicked her feet up onto the bench in front of her. Now she just had to wait for Dallin to find her.

Oh Merlin it was actually over. Third year was really over now. Now it was time to head onto the train and head back home. Violet still couldn't believe as she had back at the closing feast. And of course on top of that her birthday was fast approaching. In Violet's arms being carried was a bigger Sadie who was seeming to be sound asleep already. Violet would softly stroke her head every now and then.
As Violet made her way throughout the train her violet eyes searched in every compartment she found looking for a familiar face. But alas, no luck so far. Violet was about to give up when her eyes settled on a compartment containing three very familiar faces. Violet gasped smiling and then opened the compartment door saying brightly,"Familiar faces! How exquisite!" Violet giggled and then closed the door behind her after her luggage came floating in and right onto the overheads above them.
Violet's heart then skipped a beat when she realized something....of course there was a seat for her sit down...but the only thing was...it was next to Chris. She didn't want to make it seem like she didn't want to sit next to him so she just smiled at him softly and took her place on the seat next to him, and gently place a still sleeping Sadie back onto her lap.
She took a moment to fix her hair and then her skirt and said lightly,"So I cannot believe that third year is over already Sely...We're going to be fourth years? And I'm turning 14 soon! It's all just so mind boggling!" Violet gasped and then said to the boys,"And you two are going to be fifth years already?!" Violet just shook her in amazement and then in the corner of her eyes she looked at the space between her and Chris for a quick moment. It made her sad, for she wanted nothing more than to fill that space and sit beside him. But quickly realizing what she was doing she quickly looked at Selina and Gideon giving them a sweet smile.

"I haven't got any plans to be honest, but I'd like to meet up before term starts with everyone else, that would be fun!" he grinned. "Oh yeah, I forgot you were spending the holidays with Nate and Pam! You'll have an amazing time in America!"
"I hope so!" said Jez. She knew so. Nate seemed really excited about her staying at his place, and Pam was warming to it too. She was very excited. "I've never actually lived in a Muggle house before," she confessed. "My parents ... well, they weren't exactly Muggle-lovers, let's put it that way. Never had so much as a Muggle teapot in the house. Keegan took me into Muggle London last summer, while my parents were away on an overnight business trip. It was awesome - I found out I love Green Day!" Now Jez was a devoted fan. "But now I'll have to get used to all these new things - like electripicy." That didn't sound right. "Electricity," she corrected herself, remembering how Nate had pronounced it. "And the box with the pictures that change if you press a button, and the little stick you speak into and someone else can hear you even if they're not near you ..." Jez didn't know any names, but those things sounded complicated enough. "I'm not sure I'll fit in," she mumbled.
Johnathan spotted an empty place to sit in and finally have hopes of going home. He organized all of his stuff and carry-ons.
He pulled out his headphones and turned on some music. He was somewhat surprised at the view he was looking at, for once. Since most of the time he falls asleep during transportational rides, that take up more than an hour.
He had been captivated by the image of Hogwarts growing away as the train moved. Sigh. He was going to miss it. Especially the library. How could he go back to muggle books when magic was real and he has experienced it? Kennedy shook his head and walked down the corridor. Inside his pocket he could feel Puff and Hilbert fighting for a comfortable spot.
His eyes quickly recognized a lonesome guy in one of the compartments and he opened the door to it. He knew he didn't have to ask permission to sit down, this was his best friend he was joining. "Hey, Brother-from-another-mother," he said, grinning.
Yeah, John was his brother... from another mother.

It made her sad, for she wanted nothing more than to fill that space and sit beside him. But quickly realizing what she was doing she quickly looked at Selina and Gideon giving them a sweet smile.
Christopher's eyes were still glazed over, staring blankly away. It seems that unlike most people, the older he got, the more he drew away from society. The more shy he became. What happened to the eleven year old that could talk to people he didn't even know with confidence? It seemed that pain drew him into his shell more forcefully than his friends could pull him out.
When the door burst open, he hardly noticed at first, like when Selina came in. But the second that voice rang out, Christopher snapped out of his thoughts, and became immediately alert. However, even though he was friendly with the girl at the door now, it didn't mean they didn't have issues to work out. Issues he didn't feel like facing for now. Returning the smile slightly, he stared at the ground and watched for a pair of blue shoes to go sit next to Gideon and Selina's.
But none ever did. Slowly looking back up, Christopher saw her reluctantly inching toward him. He wasn't the only one feeling uncomfortable. Casting his eyes back on the ground, he calculated the distance in his head while she spoke. He may not have been so great with girls, but he was pretty good at math too. Their hands were 31.48 centimeters apart. He suddenly felt quite chilled.
He silently nodded when she spoke of Gideon and himself becoming fifth years and looked expectantly at the pair across the way from them to make things less uncomfortable. Their compartment was probably the most awkward on the entire train.

"No it wasn't to difficult. what were the duffucult arsie in your first year?" Angelina never really talked to people at Hogwarts second year and above, so she really doesn't know what has been going on at Hogwarts since she came. "With our time abel to study alot we didn't too much." Angelina added.
"Easy for me to change the situation, search for new friends was quite interesting but difficult task." Anna answered and sent a strand of her straw-colored long hair for the right ear. She did not know how to continue the conversation, but after a glance at her bag, she remembered suddenly ... "Oh! Angelina, You love the sweets?" Anna asked, pulling out a small red box from her bag.

Angelina smiled and looked inside the box at everything, Anna held out to her. She grabbed one and took a bite, "I like them." She wasn't really picky about food at all! She liked everything. "Thanks." Angelina said, and finishing her chocolate. "Thats cool her owns a shop. Is he form Russia?"

"I think the box of pictures you're talking about is a Television," he said, remembering his time in his home town. "And the thing you can speak into to speak with others is a Telephone, or a Mobile Phone." he smiled at her, "You'll be fine, it might take a while to get used to it," he said. But now that its my first year from inbetween Hogwart years, I'm going to try to get everything in before September." Angelina grabbed another candy with a somewhat dark blue wrapper.

We decided to visit relatives on my father's side." She said smiling. "And it looks like a great trip for me, because I am not there very often."

Are you a Muggleborn?" Jez had never actually dug that deep with Jordan, come to think of it. First time for everything. She leant an elbow on her knee and put her chin in her hand to look at him better. "Let's hear the life story of the amazing Mr Macey," she requested with a smile.

Jordan smiled, "Okay then, here is The Life Story of The Amazing Mr Macey..." he began. "I was born to a witch mother and a muggle father. My mother left when I was very young, so I was raised as an outsider to my muggle father and brothers." he said. "They... Took it upon themselves to beat the freak out of me. I endured 11 years of daily beatings before I get my Hogwarts letter, then I used my metamorph abilities and changed myself into the Jordan Macey you know today." he shrugged. "I was raised in a muggle household thats how I know about the telephone" he corrected her.
"Anywa, I hitchhiked myself to Diagon Alley, it turned out my mum had hidden away a small fortune for me. And I stayed in the Leaky Cauldron until the Hogwarts Express left, then a school year later here I am!" he grinned.
After her awkward and completely random stand in the compartment Selina settled back down into her seat as Gideon put his stuff over head in the compartment. There was no lag in the conversation because as Gideon settled in he kept the conversation moving by answering Christopher's question about the summer time. She was actually curious about what he was doing over the summer. The only thing Selina knew with certainty this summer was that Kurumi was coming over at some point. She had never actually fleshed out if she was going to see Gideon or not, although knowing her she would most likely just pop in some days unexpectedly. Best to keep things fresh, besides she was very interested in meeting Kacie.
Once Gideon sat beside her she flashed him a smile and looked back at Christopher who was seemingly spacing out again. Her eyebrow rose in his direction and she wanted to wave a hand in his face to bring him back the world of the living but though that would be too rude. So she waited a moment for him to say something. When he finally did it was the most inarticulate mess of words she had ever heard. She assumed he was asking if Gideon was coming over at any point in the summer.
She turned her head to look at Gideon and said, "I actually don't know. Are you gonna come by at any point this summer to visit? You know you are always welcome, sir." she smirked that last bit at him. Those nicknames were starting to become second nature to the two of them. To others it might seem a bit odd... then again she didn't care.
Suddenly the door burst open to the compartment. It was as if a huge wash of energy surged into the compartment. Once her eyes readjusted to the new light and person in the room she saw Violet Le Veela standing in front of her grinning to no end and talking a million miles an hour. That was until she picked up on the other body in the compartment- Christopher. There was a whole mess of tension that was thrown into the compartment as Violet noticed that her space was beside Christopher in the compartment. Selina was about to move over to sit next to Christopher to help the awkwardness when Violet finally sat down.
Selina nodded to Violet and retorted, "Yeah, its crazy that were fourth years now. I remember first year like it was yesterday. It is a really... weird thing, getting older. And you two," she said turning her body to look between the two older boys, "you're fifth years. That is just too odd. I can't believe it."
Once her voice stopped making noise there was an awkward lag in the conversation. Obviously Christopher and Violet had very little to say to each other... and now the compartment was quiet.

"I obviously didn't think it through very well because now I'm effctively homeless, but I'll figure something out..." he said confidently, even though he was terrified of what he was going to do.
Jez was silent throughout Jordan's explanation. Poor guy, was all she could think. "Do you think your mum will claim you?" she asked quietly. No offence to Jordan, but she doubted it. It sounded like he'd been abandoned.
"If you need a place to stay," she began, then stopped. Yeah, her house wasn't an option right now, since it had been blown up. Ack, okay ... "My brother and sister are homeless too," she said carefully. "If you wanted, I could ask Keegan to find you someplace. I know abandoned office blocks aren't exactly the Leaky Cauldron, but it's better than the streets." That's where Jez would be staying this summer, if it wasn't for Nate and Pam ... Idea! "Have you told Faina this?" she asked. "Maybe you can stay with her! If you explain the situation, I bet her parents will let you." Hopefully.
Ronnie couldn't believe what was going on right now. She didn't know how it got to be the end of the term already, and she couldn't believe that she wouldn't be going back to Hogwarts next term. If she had known that she would have made sure to take more time looking at the grounds, enjoying her common room. But for once Ronnie wasn't sad, it ment she got to spend her time with Simon, she go to be with him all the time now. Live in Hollian with him. And that was worth everything in her book.
She sat down in a compartment and looked for Simon, she wanted to talk to hima bout this trip, or move is a better word for it. This after all was going to be her last time on the Hogwarts Express. She wanted to enjoy it, so savor the moment.
''Hey.''He said smiling.''Excited about going Home.''He asked,Becuase He definitley wasn't.
"Not at all" she frowned. Chelsea had a feeling she was going to have a boring first half of the summer. Unless Violet could come over. But she second half of the summer would be fun as she would be with Ryan. "What about you?" she asked. Although she probably knew his answer, they had became so close that she already knew his answer to most things.
