As you enter the Hogwarts library, what appears to be a cozy nook in one corner of the main area appears most appealing to the Hogwarts student interested in his or her reading. Upon further inspection, you see that this comfy area is larger than it had seemed on first sight. Spread throughout the room are clusters of armchairs, surrounding magical reading lamps giving off different levels of light, all of which are appropriate for reading. These clusters are perfect for study groups or group projects.
Here and there are a few lone armchairs for the student who enjoys quiet solitary reading, and a number of sofas for any that would rather stretch out and put their feet up. Be sure not to muddy them up though!
A soft glow of light is present throughout the room, with more magical lamps in each possible reading space. Be sure not to make much noise and respect some students' wishes to read in quiet.
One last note, no food or drink in the reading lounge.

Wow his parents sounded like complete opposites of her parents. And even opposite of her aunt and uncle. "Is there a reason they don't want anything to do with the Wizarding world?" she asked curiously. That was strange since he said he was a half-blood so one of his parents were magical.

"Most people don't even care much about blood status anymore. A few do but not many" she continued. Unlike her parents Chelsea was never one to judge someone based on the purity of their blood. "Well maybe you should try asking him. When I was younger and lived with my parents I asked them a lot of questions. The answers were never good considering the kind of people they were" she told him.

"Learning to make the potions its a lot of fun. I've noticed a lot of people don't like that class though because of Professor Lafay" she said. Professor Lafay wasn't too bad, you just had to stay on her good side.

She was relieved that she hadn't embarrassed herself. "Really? I didn't think you still did after the day at the Three Broomsticks" she said. She remembered telling him that she was still getting over her ex. Still not sure if she wanted a relationship she would just let what ever happened happen. At least she got that off her mind though.

"Me too; I had a good time that day. It was the first actual date I've been on, if thats what it was" she said. It sure seemed like that it had been a date but she wasn't sure. She never actually went on a 'date' with Scott. They just kind of ended up together.

"No I'm fine right now, I'm just going to go to the common room for awhile. I'll see you later" she smiled and hugged him. Then she walked out of the Library and to the Slytherin common room.
Louisa walked into the reading lounge with a pile of books floating before her. She had to read a LOT of books for her Arthimancy nonsense homework about that magical box. Heh. A metal egg and a magical box, why was this term so complicated?
Louisa set the books on the floor with a low thud and flopped herself on the armchair that faced another matching one. Two days until her fifteenth birthday and NOBODY had hinted something... well except Selina who said happy birthday after Louisa had told her about it, but that didn't count. Pooouuut.
The girl bent down and picked up a book from the pile, time to distract her mind a bit into the ocean of numbers.
"Yep." said Ness pouting as she realized that she hadn't played music on her guitar in like forever. She just hoped she was good enough that Jo wouldn't be bored when she played. She thought she was an average guitar player...she was good at playing songs but she wasn't skilled at making songs yet. Guitar was a fun instrument way more interesting than piano..or at least Ness thought so. "I'll try be good." she winked at Joanna
So Jo'd rather stay in Hogwarts than see her family, Jo probably had her reasons and Ness decided to stay out of it. In any case, Hogwarts was sorta fun for the holidays there was always some sort of entertainment going on at Hogwarts over the holidays. "At least the holiday here is usually fun." she commented remembering last year when she had decided to stay in Hogwarts.
The Ravenclaw chuckled. She too hoped that Nessie was good, because Joanna hated the guitar when it's not played well... like her cousin. "Yeah hopefully," she added. Also she wanted to know how it feels to stay in school while it's a holiday. Back in America she didn't even think of staying at school during the holidays. "So... Are you doing something interesting for the summer holidays," she said. It was a random question, but if they were talking about Christmas holidays, why not about the awesome summer holidays.

Kita tiptoed into the library, trying her hardest not to make any noise. She had JUST gotten away after being attacked by certain people who seemed to have noticed something new hanging on her robes. All she had wanted to do was get away and try and find one of her best friends but NOOOO! Turns out she wasn't ALLOWED to do that. The badge was too shiny for such behaviour.
But the whole affair made her giggle so she didn't mind one bit.
Holding two boxes, the seventeen year old moved through the library as silently as possible, peering this was and that in search for the young girl. She had to be here right? After all, the girl LOVED reading! She was probably here brushing up her knowledge on things that eluded Kita.

And she was being squeezed. Louisa struggled with the person, pushing her away quickly. Was she being tackled? With narrowed eyes, the girl spotted the tanned face of her lovely bestie Kita. Giggling and shaking her head, she got up and hugged the girl back. "Sorry, I didn't see you coming." She said into the older girl's hair.
"How are yo-" She was saying when she spotted the two boxes. O__o "Sorry did I squish them?" Were they chocolate? And.. what was this shiny thing on Kita's robes?

"YOU'RE CAPTAIN?" Yelling at the top of her lungs and then slapping a hand to her mouth, Louisa jumped on the girl in a big hug again, the boxes be damned.
