In that section of that place located inside of the tent are four long tables overflowing with food. Some may be immediately recognizable to you, while others completely foreign. That's because there are foods from all continents gracing the long tables! The tables are all situated in a square that has each type of food leading to another. Starting with the mouthwatering meats, leading to the scrumptious seafood, and then steaming soups and stews and casseroles. And that's just the first table!

Carbs, veggies, breads and wraps flow from one table to the next, followed by pizza's of all kinds and sandwiches galore. Desserts and fruits are so delicious, they have a table all to themselves. And last, but not least, we can't forget the drinks. Some steaming, most chilled, and all begging for your consumption.

THIS is what Ellie had been waiting for ALL DAY. All day. It made up for her outfit, for Carter and Salander stealing the only GOOD pie, and for whatever else. She'd put her toy jeep in the corner of the tent, near the entrance so her hands were free. For food.

After doing her pinning on the Map, the fifth year walked towards the buffet. She walked past the meat, the seafood and soups, past the pastas and sandwiches, right to the fondue. Yes.

She picked up a well chosen strawberry, stuck it into one of the fountains, and let the chocolate run over it.

Selina walked into the tent making sure she stayed as elegant as possible as her shoes clicked with each step. She looked very peculiar as she walked through the tent. She was in a very pretty Irish step dance dress with a pair of Celtic black heels, but that was not the unusual sight. The more odd part of Selina's appearance was that she was blatantly ignoring the buffet, although the heels did not help upset the balance of the down to earth little red head.

Selina never ignored food... ever. In fact, that was how a majority of her friends got her to do a great many things. Bribes, promises, cookie tins... anything. And she was just ignoring it... all of it.

Now that everything was done and set up, Kurumi could no longer deny the rumbling in her tummy and waddled her way over to the buffet. It had been a long time since she had worn a kimono and she was surprised when her mother had actually offered her her own kimono she ha worn. Perhaps it had been a gesture of understanding or her mother's own small way of showing acceptance, but Kurumi felt strangely connected to her now - even if it was hard to walk in and had taken her an hour to get everything tied on properly.

Grabbing a napkin, Kurumi reached for a slice of the Japanese pizza when she spotted Selina there already drooling all over the place. "You look very nice, Selina," she smiled, waving to her best friend.

"Oh, erm hey Kurumi..." she said waving her hand at Kurumi not even taking her eyes off of the pizza. She wanted it so terribly, but she knew that this dress was her grandmother's. If she ruined it she was dead... so she would refrain. MERLIN IT WAS SO HARD!

"Do you want me to feed you some?" she asked, lifting up a slice of pizza. She didn't check to see which one, but did it really matter? Selina would eat everything INCLUDING the kicthen sink.

Ellie was on....what?...her seventh? eighth? chocolate-dipped strawberry when she heard others nearby. She quickly took a bite of the berry before turning to those around her.

Kurumi. And...a friend of Kurumi's?

She arched an eyebrow when Kurumi offered to feed her friend? That was...hah, really? Could her friend not feed herself? Ellie sized the redhead up and determined she had to be at least twelve. Well...either way, if she was at Hogwarts, she was more than old enough to feed herself.

It was Kurumi's friend's 'self restraint' comment that made the fifth year snort. "I'm jealous of your self-restraint," Ellie said, finishing up the strawberry. "Why aren't you eating?" Better question, though, why was she near the food if she didn't want to eat? She should go to the garden-monument-thingy.

Christopher was embarrassed enough to be dressed up in a silly little costume as this, but the tights pushed him to complete shame and horror. Deciding to hide from all faces (or as many as possible), he lurked out of view at a small table by the International Buffet Tables. Munching on some Chinese tofu fitting to his Vegan diet, the young lion was doing his best to avoid two people. A French brunette he didn't want to confront, and an Irish red head he didn't want to murder him. Plus he was irritated that she'd convinced him into the tights. It was downright humiliating. What was even worse, was that he didn't even look British. He looked French. Like from some child's princess movie. This day just kept getting worse and worse. The only good thing was the food...

She could handle not getting any food on her dress and even if she did... she was a witch... she could just clean it up. Finally she got to the tofu part of the table and scrunched up her nose. How Chris and Violet ate this foul smelling garbage she would never understand.

Her eye caught a red cape and she nonchalantly walked over to her brother and poked him in the side, "If you're trying to hide from me, you'll have to do better than that..."

"You'd be hiding too if you were wearing anything this ridiculous! I look like a girl," he joked. He did think he looked awful, but laughing it off was the best way to avoid humiliation, if that was even possible at this point. Nodding to her outfit, he jokingly complained, "Aw come on! Your outfit looks amazing!" It was his way of complimenting her at the moment, because it really was cool. And he was dressed as a little girl. Selina was just TRYING to make Violet laugh in his face.

Louisa made her ~~unsteady~~ way toward the buffet, moving very slowly to acknowledge all the familiar and unfamiliar dishes lying on the tables. She knew she shouldn't eat something really.. fatty or meaty, she was wearing a dress - a very big one too and Mrs. Brown always instructed that a lady wearing a fancy dress should limit her stomach intake. Heh. Who knew Louisa would actually listen to that old lady one day?

Eventually, the girl picked a glass of ginger ale and headed toward the tables, hopefully to meet some friends.

Sky stood gazing at the buffet, trying to figure out what to go for first. It all looked so good! She finally decided to have a small taste of everything. She grabbed a plate, loaded it up, and moved on to the drinks. As soon as she saw the lemonade, Sky's drink decision was made. She pick up a cup and filled it with some of the tart but sweet drink. Sky then headed off to the tables to enjoy her mini feast.

Ryan walked over to the Buffet and grabbed a plate.He wasn't a big meat fan so that was out of theb questionso he headed over to the Seafood section.He saw that there was Sushi so he picked up abit of that and headed over to the drinks.He grabbed a lemonade and walked over to the tables.

Elyon loved the princesses, but I always liked Peter Pan and Mickey Mouse and Aladdin the best. And the Lion King. That one was always a classic." He rather missed those old movies, though if the Skylars still had an old VCR or something they could watch them over the summers in his and his other little sister's cottage. But despite the fond memories of the movies, he was dressed as a girl's character. And that was not something he wanted to remember. It was a good thing Mrs. Skylar wasn't here, or she might want a million pictures. That would probably kill him.

"You're wel-" he stopped talking and turned bright red. Lowering his voice, he ran his hand worriedly through his hair as usual, and asked, "Is it really that bad?" He was NEVER going to let Selina Arden Skylar ever talk him into wearing something ever again. From now on, his sweaters and oxfords would do.

Wait, what's wrong with it?!" He didn't really care about his hair like some super prep or anything, but Selina's tone was if someone had set it on fire. Was there a spider in it? Sometimes they'd jump onto his clothes when he went to the dusty, less popular sections of the library (which was quite often).

Eat! Eat! Eat!

After dressing up, Jonathan immediately walked over to the buffet area. Yup. He was hungry and these meals will satisfy his every needs. There were tons of things to eat. A variety of food to stuff into the mouth. Mouth watering dishes from around the globe. Thank you prefects for doing this. Jonathan took a plate and looked around the buffet table.

Jonathan hasn't been eating that much lately at the Great Hall, so after hearing there would be an awesome buffet, he immediately went to see. Looking at it feels like paradise already.

Hmmm... What to eat?

Jonathan came across the pizza corner. Taking a slice of every each country. This should be enough right? He'll just come back later if he wants more food to eat. He went to the beverages and picked Apple Cider. Does it go well with the pizza? ---That he doesn't know but pizza goes well with anything.

Glancing around, he caught a glimpse of plaid, knowing it was his roommate. He wondered if he and Selina were really dating now. He'd heard it around the school, but not knowing if it was a rumor or not, stayed out of it and left the two alone. It would've been pretty embarrassing for all of them if he'd asked if they were, anyway.

At her remark about talking to girls, Christopher raised his eyebrows. "Selina, what's going on? You know I'm not interested in talking to any girls. Especially in your stupid Disney Prince costume." He wondered how she had even just had this in her trunk anyway. It was a weird thing to have. Then when she pointed out a brunette with her back turned Christopher narrowed his eyes, unable to believe she'd do this. "No! Uh-uh. Not a chance Selina!" He should have known Selina was going to try to make them dance or something. Stopped meddling? Please! She was a likely nominee for Meddler of the Year. If that were a real thing, anyway.

Glancing around, he caught a glimpse of plaid, knowing it was his roommate. He wondered if he and Selina were really dating now. He'd heard it around the school, but not knowing if it was a rumor or not, stayed out of it and left the two alone. "I win!" She said sticking out her tongue at him when he decided to stay. Eventually he was going to end up staying. Selina Skylar usually ended up getting what she wanted. Call it a gift or a curse... it was just the way things were and no one knew that better than Christopher. So why did he even ever bother fighting with her? He may tower over her in height, but the real power in their relationship came from the tiny redhead who always had to look up to talk to him.

Her eye caught the slightest glimpse of plaid and she smiled. There he was... oh Merlin these costumes were just getting better and better. Of course, Selina's outfit was no better. The Irish step dress was only well suited for that medium. Outside of dancing she just looked odd in a green and sparkly short dress with intricate designs on the bodice.

Suddenly Chris put two and two together and she reached for his arm. "You promised me you would talk to her... I know you haven't... I'm her friend too. Now go and talk to her. I don't care if you two date or not," she did care, but that was not her choice to make, "but I am done being the monkey in the middle. Do you know how hard that is for me? And I refuse to choose between the two of you, which you both are trying to get me to do subtly, so you two are going to make up. At least be friendly!" She started to push him toward the dance floor... she was done with this... it had been six months. They were being babies.

She wasn't in the restrooms or classes or the common room- nowhere! Selina, if she had wanted to be found, I'd have been able to get a hold of her! She doesn't want to talk to me! I'll try again later, but for now, can we just talk about something else? Like -I know I'm not supposed to be nosy or anything- if the rumors about you and a certain Scotish Gryffindor are officially dating are true? I had to confirm it from a more reliable source," he managed a smirk toward the end.

If you were looking for her you know you would have found her in the gazebo dancing... that's where she usually is, Christopher. Two... don't change the subject onto me and Gideon. I actually spoke to him, unlike you. And yes, for your information you nosy little git, I am dating him. Now go and talk to her." She chuckled the nosy little git part of her sentence. He was being difficult. She did not expect anything less. After all Christopher was Christopher and when he did not want to do something he had to be prompted to do it or it would never get done...

...Of course! The grounds! He'd thought it too cold to go look for her out there, he figured she'd at least be hiding/dancing inside. Drats. And Selina had kept her part of the deal! Even worse- it worked out for her! Not that he hadn't wanted it to, he was actually very happy for the two, but it made him seem like a right awful brother AND proved him wrong. "Well congratulations to you two!" he said in a fake sarcastic tone as he stuck out his tongue. He walked away with a laugh on his lips, but once he'd turned his back to her, the smile was gone. His legs were shaking and he had to take a few deep breaths to keep him from becoming rooted to the spot and never moving.

How on earth was he going to do this?
