Simon was not happy, he had been very shocked by the news that his father had given him and he was upset he hadn't seen Ronnie for ages, if she was still up for it he wanted to take her on tour with him, it probably would be the last time he could spend summer with her until she left school, he had no hope of staying for his seventh year, his father had found out about the Quidditch match he had played in and so after next term he was leaving to learn how to be a prince, at least he still had one term left.

Ronnie saw her Simon and she lite up. He ad a way of making her do that and she loved him for it. She scooted down the bench toward him because she wanted to be by him. "Hey Simon." She said with a smile and giving him a quick hug with her one arm.

"How are you love?" She asked him, she was really excited to see him, it had been ages, and this term wasn't their best.

Justin just smiled at Harvey as he slipped up and said that he loved Min. ' Nice Freudian Slip, Mate. " he snickered.

" Ame , You know that It'll be a long time before we make this a serious commitment. I just wanted you to know how I feel about you. I still want to take things slow. Ya know... so we can really get to know each other. It's a match to the ring Mum gave Kyle." Justin said as he smiled down at Amethyst.
" That's a fine idea, Minnie. The more the merrier." Justin smiled

Simon looked at Ronnie and hugged her. "I hope you are coming on tour with me this summer, it would be so boring without you, I hate all the security I have to have, I was hoping that with you there I can get away for a few hours of peace." He decided it was best to leave his news for her until near the end of next term, there was no need to make her sad now.

When Justin commented on his slip-up, he smiled a little shyly. Dang!! they had noticed his slip-up, so he decided to say somthing about it "Huh?? Oh! Er.. just a slip of the tongue nothing more Justin.. nothing more." he said as he looked at Minnie who was sat next to him, his heart beating very fast against his ribs. Are you sure it is nothing else? he thought in his head YES!! It just nerves, because I am leaving my friends like Minnie. Thats all it is nerves!!! He thought as he looked at her.

Salima had sat down at the table surrounded by the other Hufflepuffs with a huge smile on her face 'This has been the best year of my life' Salima muttered to herself 'I can't wait 'till next year. And the Quidditch championship was amazing' Salima said begginig to speak louder for everyone on the Hufflepuff table to hear.

Ronnie smiled even wider, she so had been hoping that he would ask again, of course she wanted to go on tour with him. She loved him!. "Of couse I want to go on tour with you!" She told him, suddenly her mood had ocmpletely increased. She had been waiting all term to spend some time with him. It felt like it had been for forever since they had any moment alone.

"I thought you'd never ask" She said teasing him a little, but Simon looked a little sad about something. She couldn't handle anymore bad stuff at the moment, so she was going to push it out of her mind, she was going to live in this moment and be with Simon for now.

Simon decided it was time to have some fun, he hopefully wouldn't lost points, shouting at the top of his voice he smiled hoping Professor Hadley would hear him. "PROFESSOR HADLEY YOUR THE GREATEST HEAD OF HOUSE EVER." Simon then felt like asking Vindictus when he would retire but decided against it, now though he wanted to say something else.

"Professor Hadley is the best,
She the best Head of House,
with her Hufflepuff will rule the world
or my name ain't Simon Leonarder De Simpson."

Justin thought how odd it was that Minerva and Harvey were trying to ignore their feelings for each other. He didn't understand why they just didn't talk to each other openly about how theyy each felt. He looked at his best friend and decided that he would talk to each of them seperately so he could make some sense out of their nonsense. He leaned over to Harvey and whispered,
" Harv? Ya know I love you two. but all this beatin' around the bush stuff you're pullin' is drivin' me crazy. Why don't you talk to her about how you've felt all term. I' ve tried to stay supportive of both of you, but you know as well as I do that she's really the only one you'd prefer to be with. For instance... Why is Ronnie over at the Gryffindor table and not sitting next to you? If that were Min you'd be right next to her and you know it. Don't get me wrong... Ronnie's a great girl, but you can't lead her on if your heart's not in it. i'm gonna let you think for a minute before I say anything else. Okay, Mate? " justin patted his friend on the back reassurringly letting him know he understood where Harvey's heart was at.

Harvey felt a presence near him and turned around to see Justin had leaned and was whispering to him. Harvey listened to what Justin was saying. He then thought to himself. Was what Justin said true? Did he prefer to be with Minnie over Ronnie? But he hadnt felt anything for her since she had started dating and Ronnie had helped him get over Minnie, right? he WAS over her right? Justin had asked many questions regarding Ronnie. Did he Love Minnie again, or was this just nerves of not being able to see for the next few months. He then decided to speak. "Well...er.. Ronnie is over there because I wanted to hang out with Minnie, BUT I DID tell her that she was allowed to come. But she decided not to. Justin I am sure that is just nerves of leaving the school, of not being able to see her and you and Ame and Alyssa over the holidays. I havent felt that way about her in ages ever since I started liking Ronnie alot!" he said his heart beating very fast. WAS he leading Ronnie on? Did he still Love Ronnie? All these millions of questions occupied Harvey's mind.

CAPTAIN HUG! Kita squeezed Carter back. "This is it... Our very sad ending here at Hogwarts," she said, looking over Carter's shoulder at the rest of the Great Hall.

She couldn't help but giggle at what Carter said next. "I know! You should be proud of yourself," she said, patting the boy on the back. She was proud of him for surviving so many heartbreaks. Except... she wasn't going to say that. No no.

"I'll miss you too Captain!" And... what exactly had SHE done for him? "Thank you for everything you've done as well. Don't forget me when you become a big Quidditch star and have all these girls running after you." She also expected free tickets.



Despite her tears, Kita couldn't help but smile. Lyssie was just so excited! Now she REALLY needed to get there. It could be sunny there which means... SUNBATHING! Wooo!

Surfing? "I'd love to come along! Surfing sounds..." Dangerous. "like it'll be a bit of a challenge but we'll have so much fun!" It was on a beach right? "Wait... who else is coming? Is Aaron?" And... cue the waggling eyebrows.

And... a park? "Like an adventure park or a normal park?" she asked, "Either way, that's totally awesome! We could go there! And... shopping? We've never been shopping together!" And Kita goes shopping with all of her best friends. Nod nod.



Kita sat there and looked around. She needed to see her bestie! Where WAS that girl? She couldn't leave Hogwarts without seeing the smaller, more Slytherin girl.

And... she can see a flock of blonde hair. A very familiar flock of blonde hair. SQUEEE! Kita jumped up and ran over to the girl. She was going to see the girl over the summer but... it just wasn't the same. No more squealing. No more random hugs. No more chocolate cake in the Great Hall! THIS WAS SAD!

Reaching the girl, she threw her arms around Caroline and gave her a big squeeze. "I'm going to miss you Caroline," she said, "Even if we're going to see each other over the holidays." She was still going to miss Caroline, no matter what!

BANNERS WERE FALLING!!!! Why in the name of merlin was this happening?! Kita shrugged off the Slytherin banner off of her head as gently as possible. The hanging was nice and all but... it was Slytherin's. If it was Hufflepuff's, she would have danced around in it, not caring that it had hung around her head and messed up her hair.

POP!

WHAT IN THE NAME OF MERLIN?! There was a house elf here! But... they weren't meant to come out of the kitchen were they? And yet, this term they had come out more often than normal. WOW!

Kita watched the house elf carefully. It was looking for something? Good thing it came to the Hufflepuff table then! They could FIND anything in here! Hopefully.

OH LOOKIT! Hadley was being her usual good Head of House self. She watched as the woman told some firsties to give the elf some space. And... that meant that Kita had to keep away herself. Even though she wanted to help. Helping an elf at the end of term feast would be a good way to go.



Kita smiled at the gentle squeeze. See? This is why she loved her roomie. She loved hugs as well! Seven years of hugs, giggles and fashion advice and this is how it had to end. No wonder this wasn't easy!

"We do! Our last train ride together... it'll be a blast!" Except... what they're going to do to make it a blast, she didn't know. Maybe a pillow fight in the carriages? Now THAT didn't sound so bad. Teehee! "Thanks! I'll keep that in mind next time i need to get ready for something," Obviously, Cassie's fashion advice's over the years would be playing over in her head. "And a lot of things look nice on you so you don't have to worry!"



What in the name of merlin... Someone was singing! And not those usual songs you hear being played by wizarding artists. No. This was a song that someone had just... made up themselves.

Kita turned to look towards the source of the voice. There. Simon. How was it that his name hadn't immediately popped into her head? Of course Simon would sing his own made-up song! It was a very Simon thing to do!

Kita smiled as she stood up and made her way over towards the boy. They weren't... too close but she still knew him pretty well. And so... he was going to get a hug!

Reaching the fifth year, Kita wrapped her arms around him and gave him a gentle squeeze. "I'm going to miss you and your humour Simon!" she said. Punching aside, the two were... kind of close, right?

" Harvey, you forget I'm your best friend. I've seen how you look at her ... How you still scan a room hoping she's there. Mate, only you can decide what you're gonna do and I'll be there for ya no matter what. You've got a good head on your shoulders. Maybe it is because of end of term is here and you're afraid that you won't see any of us or whatever, but don't worry so much. We're all best friends and we still will be next term and the term after that and so on. I just don't want to see you short yourself is all." Justin said as he continued to whisper.

Harvey listened to what Justin was saying. He didnt say anything but he thought about what Justin was saying. Was what Justin saying true? Did he still Love Minnie even after he had started dating Ronnie? Is it possible that he had pushed away his feelings because she was not single, but now that she WAS single all those feelings had come rushing back??? If he WAS in love, he wasnt saying he was but if he was, then what should he do? hurt Ronnie and get together with Minnie, or hide his feelings and keep going with Ronnie. He exhaled, he decided that he would have to figure out how he felt about Minnie, was she just a friend to him or was she something more. "Well I think it is just nerves. But I will try to figure out....... everything... and then I will go from there... I guess" he whispered nervousily to Justin. He then looked ahead and then he looked at Minnie. What was the truth? Feelings for Minnie or Feelings for Ronnie. "Thanks I appreciate it! I know you dont want to see that." he whispered to Justin

Louisa would've blinked, if her eyes weren't so teary and she KNEW that blinking meant tears. The blinking would've been because of the unexpected response from Kita. "Th-thanks." Barely over a whisper, the lump was just too much. The girl, however, nodded at every suggestion Kita made; Yes, they would write, visit and.. stay in contact no matter what.

Chuckling a bit at the last 'threat', Louisa hugged Kita again without pulling away, "You're very special too, Kita. I.." The Hufflepuff's robe was being stained with tears. Louisa bit her lip refusing to sniffle but her tears were on their own.

" Well, maybe by the time we get to my house you'll have figured it out. Otherwise it might get awkward."

Harvey swallowed and nodded "I hope so too.. I think I will have figured it out, I dont want it to get awkward. The last time that happened I lost her, I cant lose her again even if it just as a friend. So I have some heavy thinking to do. Thanks Mate, you are a really good friend! Glad that I met you! Even though I was jealous at first, remember? But then Minnie set me straight" he said chuckling to his best mate... he really WAS a good friend. He had to think hard now, since he was on holiday.

At the sound of her name, Nessie looked up from her food and turned to see Lyssie, with Aaron and a few other people Ness couldn't see. She pouted hesitating wether to join them or not. On the one hand she wanted to say goodbye properly, and spend her last few minutes with everyone, but then she didn't want any company at all. She was a very confusing and complicated person, so she never really made sense.

Sighing a little she got up and walked over to the other Badgers. She then put on a semi- smile and sat down, next to Lyssie. She didn't say anything, she just remained quiet and sat.

One minute, Ness was just sitting like a normal person, but then the next she felt too arms wrap around her. She didn't know who it was at first, until she heard a familiar voice. It was one of the awesomest people ever. It was Kita. Nessie really loved Kita like a sister, and she really had no idea how she'd live with her gone from Hogwarts.

Kita had to be joking. Ness didn't understand why Kita would miss her, there was nothing to miss. "I'm going to miss you more." She whispered back, getting quite teary. She didn't want Kita to go, it would be so hard without her. She hugged Kita tighter never wanting to let go.

Someone else called her name. Ness turned around once more and saw Janice one of her roommates. She put on another smile. "Er..I'm better...erm a little worse than that." She pouted. Did the whole school now she had been sick? "How you been doing Janice?" She asked being polite.

Ness not really focused, didn't notice, that an house elf had appeared. Nor did she really notice anything else. She just continued eating unaware of her surroundings.

Amethyst smiled, blushing deeply as she heard him say it matched Kyle`s. Hmmm..perhaps Kyle could show Ame how too----an owl? Nah. No owl... Anyway. Where was I? OH. Oh yeah. Ame was never afraid of getting dirty. She smiled, nodding. Ah yes. 6 more years, at the least.

" That is what best friends are for, Harv. Ya know before I met Amethyst I was a bit jealous of you. I think Minnie knew I had a little crush on her, but I knew that you were a good guy and wouldn't hurt her. Then I met Ame and everything fell into place. You know what I think about the choice you need to make and I have a feeling you already know too. You're just afraid of the rejection. Am I right? " Justin whispered to his best friend.
Justin smiled broadly and took her hand and gave it a loving kiss. " you make me smile without needing to say a word. A power that is difficult to resist. How is it that you can enchant my heart? " Justin's heart was beating fast beneath his white button down shirt. And he felt his face get warm as he blushed deeply at his own words. He just sat there looking at her , holding her hand.

"Ok boys, what are you whispering about?" Minerva said very curious. What in the world could they be talking about. She eyed Justin he better not be saying anything to Harvey about his comments to her. She would NOT hurt Ronnie. Ronnie was a great friend and she would NOT do that. She hurt Rose with the whole William thing she was not hurting Ronnie in the same way. Harvs and her were just friends and that was it. No matter how she was feeling.

"You know," she whispered, "I could ask you the exact thing." She smiled, leaning into him. She giggled as she kissed his blushing cheeks with a peck. She smiled, thinking of how Professor Tate would deliver End of Term Speech.

Carter smiled. "I'd be joking if I said it's been easy." At times it was everything but. He was sure Kita knew all about that though... she was there for most of it. But he made it... and that was what mattered.

"How could I forget you?" he replied with a smile. "I do expect you to be at some of matches. Just... owl me when you can make it." And he'd have tickets waiting for her.

He then chuckled. "Oh, I doubt I'll have many girls running after me." He seemed to repel them pretty well.

" Don't you worry , Min. It's guy stuff. " Justin said quickly trying to stimey Minerva's suspiscions.
He smiled weakly at her as he began to think of the year's events.
Justin just sat quietly now thinking of what it was going to be like when they got home. So many things had changed while they were at school. He hoped it wouldn't be too awkward att home what with Kyle and his Mother being together and him and Amethyst.... So much to let sink in...Everything had happened so quickly... He just sat silently in deep thought and wen so deeply in thought he had blocked out everything and evryone around him.

Amethyst noticed Justin was in deep thought. She certainly didn't want to disturb his thought process, so she sat there, thinking of her entire life. She pulled out a piece of parachment and began to draw every single memory she had.

Harvey thought about what Justin was saying.. did he know who he wanted? who did he love most? Minnie. who did he care about the most? Minnie. Who did he not want to hurt? Ronnie. Who are you happier to see? Minnie. Well there is your answer, you want Minnie, just admit it!! Harvey nodded to Justin "I do know,, now! I am afraid of rejection from Minnie and hurting Ronnie! You know me too well Justin." he whispered to Justin, when someone spoke to them.



Harvey jumped away from Justin and turned to Minnie "Oh! er nothing Minnie,, nothing at all. Dont you worry about anything." he said as he looked at her. He would not tell her... he knew that she wouldnt want to hurt someone and start a new relationship. So he didnt want to tell her anything.
