Eat, drink, and be merry, O Badgers. Classes begin again tomorrow.
The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear. And what's this? The silverware is tarnished and askew, almost as if thrust on the table willy-nilly. Take a seat and search for a clean spoon while the Sorting Hat ceremony commences. The House Elves have done their clean up work quickly and effectively, and the silverware and dishes are now set to right. | |

Where were the older students? Sure, she had nothing against the younger ones but... she didn't want to look down at them. That was just rude. And it hurt her neck slightly.
Merlin! An older boy! Finally! Now she wouldn't have to feel so tall among the younger kids.
Bringing out her slightly extroverted side, Kita stood up and walked over to the boy. An easy smile plastered over her face. Yes, she was hungry but maybe she would get distracted from the hunger by a simple conversation? "Hi," she said, "Er... can i sit here?"
Running into people? Kita giggled as the memory of the incident on Platform 9 3/4 entered her mind. Merlin, did that really happen this morning?
... Speaking of, where was Daphne?
"No... i just leave that for the platform," she said, a huge grin spreading across her face, "How are you? Made any new friends?" 'Cause, it seemed as though Alyssa was becoming quite popular already... "Not many yet, but I like the ones I have now," she grinned back at Kita. "But hopefully I'll get to meet more. Violet skipped over to her house table and listened to the headmaster recite his speech she still couldn't believe she was hear. She used to think magic was just a bedtime story and now she was a witch with a real wand in the best magical school in the country. Hufflepuff the just, fair, and hardworking. That fit her to a T and she was happy that she was a part of this house
