Eat, drink, and be merry, O Badgers. Classes begin again tomorrow.
The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear. And what's this? The silverware is tarnished and askew, almost as if thrust on the table willy-nilly. Take a seat and search for a clean spoon while the Sorting Hat ceremony commences. The House Elves have done their clean up work quickly and effectively, and the silverware and dishes are now set to right. | |

Minerva finds herself scared and excited as she walks to the Hufflepuff table. She just watched other be sorted to different houses. Hufflepuff she thought to herself. It's her mom's old house so she new it was going to be a good one. She looked at the other table to see her friend from the Train Harvey sit with his new found house of Ravenclaw. As she sat down with her new house she hoped she will fit in.

Fifth Year | any and everyone. Hufflepuff Forever Interstellar Hitchhiker
Like usual, Emmaleigh made her way to her way to the Hufflepuff table, but upon arival, she frowned. The table was a mess, and it reminded her of the scavenger hunt from last term. But this wasn't supposed to be this way. The opening feast had always been the great celebration, and everything was always spotless. She took a seat towards the end of the table and waited for others to join her. Watching as kids got sorted she smiled at the firsties that came to her table. "Congratulations of getting sorted info Hufflepuffl."

Amethyst took a deep breath as she walked nervously to the Hufflepuff table. She walked past the people who seemed to be busy with each other. I wonder what house Mum or Papa were in. She started to feel a bit down. She'd forgotten about the Orphanage, and the fact she was parent-less on the train. She slumped down, her head placed in her hands as she looked around watching her friends at their tables. Maybe they where having fun. Others' happiness always cheered her up.

Cassie strutted her way into the common room and looked nowhere other than her favourite table. The Hufflepuff table of course. She realized that she was perhaps the only returning student at that part of the table so far and frowned slightly. Where was everybody? She looked around then shrugged lightly, they'd soon come.
The 7th year was about to grab a knife and make a fruit salad when she realized that the silverware was less than presentable and less than clean. She looked down the table and realized that they were all like that."What in Merlin's Beard...?" she thought out loud.
