Eat, drink, and be merry, O Lions. Classes begin again tomorrow.

The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.

~~And what's this? The silverware is tarnished and askew, almost as if thrust on the table willy-nilly. Take a seat and search for a clean spoon while the Sorting Hat ceremony commences.~~ The House Elves have done their clean up work quickly and effectively, and the silverware and dishes are now set to right.

Jordan was astounded that some students would devote their whole day to classes! Jordan preferred to actually learn magic, partake in a break between classes, which usually included a two to three hour nap, then going back to another class. The way students, overacheived these days, were completely brilliant, but exhausting. "Well, you should definitely take Defense Against The Dark Arts, I here there is a new professor in town. And a good one, one that will actually teach us DADA. And not someone who works at the ministry and Hogwarts, this time!" Jordan replied delightfully.

When Jordan would look up words in his muggle dicitonary, Rose Deluise, would show up under overacheived. She was planning on taking SEVEN classes at Hogwarts. For Jordan, it was a pain to take four! It got him thinking, maybe this is normal for wizards. Maybe this is the attitude wizards should have going into Hogwarts, to strive for excellence and acheivement. "Taking enough classes?" Jordan said jokingly. He had only planned to take at least four. "I'm not sure what exactly I'll take, but I was thinking, Herbology, DADA, Charms, and CoMC!"

Jordan wasn't found of taking flying, only because he was already a decent flyer, so why waste a class on it? And Divination, that was the first one crossed off the list. He despised the subject, it was as if the primary focus was Guesses on the earth, and they gave that a class. What a waste of a class, Jordan thought. I'd take basket-weaving classes before I'd take Divination. He thought about taking Potions again, but he sort of had mixed feelings for the subject. He was good in potion-making, but it sure was a lot of work.

"Awesome! Keeper is my favorite spot!" Ronnie said. She hoped she'd make the team. "Well of course I'll take Defense Against the Dark Arts!" Ronnie said smiling. "I'm so excited to see who the new teacher is." Ronnie said.

And how kind of him to accept any payment! Hurrah! Tori clapped her hands a little and then slid out of the bench, looking back once to see Paulie weirdly eating carrots. All righty then. "Ta ta for now!" she called back, waving her hand like a princess as she headed out of the hall.

Liking Willow more by the minute, Emma stammered a "Thank you, that's really kind" She seemed to know what was bothering her and how to cheer her up without her saying a thing.
"So, do you play any sports?" Said Emma, feeling allot more cheerful now.

Smiling at Emma, Willow replied. "Yeah, I used to play Quidditch in our backyard with my brother and his friends before he finished school. I do a little bit of dancing too, but because we live in the country, I have to teach myself. I'm ok I guess." she shrugged. "What about you?" Willow asked, flicking her blonde hair out of her face. It was really annoying today, she'll have to braid it tomorrow..

Emma nodded understandingly, she had heard other seventh years talk about how many N.E.W.T's (whatever they were) they would need to get a job at the ministry. She was very impressed.
"Yes, I have a sister Emily, she's nine." "She can be a real pain sometimes," Emma laughed "but most of the time we get along really well. She was quite upset when I left, I hope she gets her letter too in a few years time" Starting to feel slightly sick, Emma pushed her plate away and grabbed her goblet.

"Come on Selina you know it's all in good fun. I mean look at me. I still cannot figure out bloody Charms. I'm terrible at it." she looks to Gideon. "It's sad, but true. Chrams is...not my best subject."

Christopher shook his head. Clearly she misunderstood. "It's not Quidditch that's the crazy one, Sel. It's YOU!" Seriously, she was nuts. Of couse she'd already been quite strange- many people knew this. But he seriously was considering the possibility that she was going mad. ~~It wouldn't have shocked anyway if she really was.~~

Back at the confusing karma thing, he returned, "Quidditch is a sport, first of all, not art. AND SECONDLY- I'M NOT TRYING TO TEMPT KARMA I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND IT!!!" Seriously, for a big smarty pants reader like him, Christopher really wasn't catching on. Until he really learned more and researched the topic, he deemed karma stupid.

"It's really fun!" said Willow, smiling at the memory. "We'll have to play together one day! Maybe ou could come to my house!" She wasn't quite sure how her parents would react to having a muggle-born over but she was sure they wouldn't care, she was Willows friend after all!
"Well, I was taking lessons when we were living in London, but we've spent the last few years living in Australia, something to do with my fathers work at the Ministry. Unfortunately, we were placed in a small country town not to attract too much attention towards ourselves and they didn't have a dance studio. It wasn't too bad though." she added quickly.
"So, what do your parents do, if I may ask?"

'It's easy for me too, I have got the hang of it!' Rose raised an eyebrow. I think Jordan's got his wires crossed! Rose thought. 'Hey, how about we have a broom race one day?' Tayla entered the Great Hall with a huge smile on her face. She was finally back in Hogwarts!

"First year went by so quickly," she thought as she looked up and down the Gryffindor table for her classmates. She couldn't wait to see them again!

"It feels great to be back!" she exclaimed happily to no one in particular. If she couldn't find her friends, she hoped her friends would find her soon and get her attention.

In the mean time, "Welcome first years!!!"

I personally feel bad for you because you don't have something like Quidditch in your life." That was true. Selina felt everyone should have something they were passionate about, that they really loved sometimes more than themselves.

And now he was back to the karma thing, "Christopher James! You are being a butt face! Stop with the karma thing! You are going to mess mine up and then I'll never play Quidditch again. Is that what you want?"

Finally! Pixxi was finally at Hogwarts. All the nervousness she had felt on the train and in Diagon Alley was gone. When she sat down by the Gryffindor table she felt... Home. Like she belonged and had always done so.

She looked around and gave a little smile to the people sitting around her. She missed the very first Hogwarts feast, mainly because she had fallen asleep on the train and her stupid brothers Percy and Felix hadn't even bothered to wake her when they had left. Because of this little incident, she managed to miss the boat ride to the castle, which she heard some first years talk about in the main hall, and she had to walk all the way to the castle all by herself. Percy and Felix had taken her trunk and the traveling cage with her kitty Bells in it though. Nevertheless, Pixxi had been pretty grumpy while walking the road up to the castle all by herself, kicking stones and cursing under her breath.
