By this point Adam knew he needed a fresh start.Somewhere,an someone who knew no knowledge of him an could not judge him from Adam's past mistakes.Where he would just be Adam,not the boy who got punched or the boy who got slapped.Just Adam Burn.

Scanning down the table he saw another boy,around his age,with his hands in his face.Adam made his way down to the boy an sat next to him.

"Hello..Looks like you need a friend,mate."Adam said patting the guys shoulder.

"My summer was great, thank you!" Ronnie said smiling. "And how is yours?" Ronnie asked.

"Yeah, I can't wait to start classes either! Except for the ones I don't like much......but I am pumped for DADA!" she said excitedly.

Adam looked up at the feeling of someone patting his shoulder. Turning his head to see who had touched him Adam spotted a boy who looked to be about his age, giving him an empathetic look.

Adam gave the boy a smirk, before shaking his head slightly. "I need something." Adam had no idea how to handle all of this...girl drama. Ultimately that was what it came down to. He had no idea how to handle these new feelings he'd never had before and he had no idea how he felt about this whole thing with Louisa and Joao. One minute he found a way to be okay with it, then the next he was so angry he wanted to punch a wall. Adam needed to get a grip...and soon.

"Uh...I'm Adam," Adam said, extending his hand towards the boy. "I take it you're feeling similarly to me? That or you're just being incredibly nice," Adam said with a little laugh.

Adam couldn't help but look down an shake his head,smirking at himself at what he had gotten himself into.First the two girls,now this guy.Well,he just sure hoped he wouldn't get punched or slapped by this Adam,because that would be the end.Get punched by someone with the same name because they didn't want their name to be stolen.

"As hard as it is to believe..I'm Adam also.Yes.I will repeat myself,my name is Adam."He introduced himself laughing.

"I guess we could be in the same boat..But you're probably in the spare boats after the ship breaks..I'm the titanic an I'm sinking all on my own..But..Girls.."Adam raised an eyebrow.

It usually boiled down to that.Whether it be the girls be crazy or the boys,each were crazy in their own way.

"Yes," she said flatly, resisting the urge to drag him there right now. She could have tried to pull on his Gryffindor lion's courage, but it seemed as though he had agreed to go with her before that was necessary. "You really won't regret it. I will have introduce you to Twinkle, she is sort of my baking assistant. Perhaps we will even be able to find the elf that appeared at our table and you can speak with them." August couldn't possibly find them scary after spoken with them, right? Besides, people were always afraid of things that were new to them, right?

"Thank you," she replied with a shy grin. Her cheeks were flushing a bit when he inadvertently complimented her, but she tried her best to ignore it all for now. "Just think of me as someone you can come to for anything." Unless it had to do with boys, because Kurumi was positive that she knew nothing about the species.

Adam couldn't stop himself from sitting up straight and looking the boy head on. Wait...his name was Adam too? Of course Adam knew he wasn't the only person in the world with his name, but this was the first one that he was actually having a conversation. "Get out," Adam said with a little laugh. "Well...I guess I was bound to meet someone with my name eventually," Adam said with another little chuckle. Even though he had only just met the boy, he was glad that he had because this was definitely the kind of mood lifter that he was needing.

Looking at Adam as he explained his situation, Adam let out another laugh. "I don't know if I've gotten to titanic point, but I would definitely say that the iceberg is in view," Adam said with a shake of the head. "You know...all the schools I went to before this one were mostly all boys schools, and I have to say, maybe it's not such a bad thing." It wasn't that Adam had anything against girls, because he didn't, and it wasn't that he wanted to disown Louisa as a friend or anything, because he certainly did not want to do that, but Adam had no idea how to handle this horrible love triangle situation that he was in. "It's just...how do you handle a situation where a girl that you like, likes someone else?" Adam asked, keeping his voice down so no one else could over hear him.

"I am muggleborn too however I have known little about the magic world from my brother before. My mother is a doctor and my father is an accountant."Tiffany replied as she decided to have more pumpkin juice because they were very tasty.

"I didn't know anything about the dark arts but I think it'll be wonderful. For me I love charms and potion more."Tiffany chuckled a bit when she said that.

Tiffany giggled when she heard that Emily wanted to have lessons with her so as to confuse the teachers. She replied, trying to act like the way Emily was talking,"I don't think it is bad. It's good to have someone who looks the same as you sometimes. I would love to have you as my sister if you want! And by the way, I am muggleborn."she chuckled.


Tiffany was having so much fun with her friends. She loved this place and all the people here more than before. She looked around, trying to find some other first year students and asked them to join her. She noticed a familiar face. She walked closer to her so as to make sure that it was her."Kourtney! Hey over here!"she waved at the girl that she met in Diagon Alley.

"So when do You think They'll let Us in the common rooms?" Maxwell asked anxiously.

"I'm not getting out."Adam teased,telling Adam that he would do no such thing just because they shared the same name.It was weird but cool talking to someone with the same name.Obviously there were more than 1 Adam,but to actually find an talk to one was a different story.

"Ahh..Your more tamed with the girls..At least for right now.."He smirked.But this Adam seemed to be a bit more quiet an reserved so Adam wasn't imagining his new found friend/classmate to be heading down his road anytime soon.Sign me up for that school.I wouldn't mind be around the boys for a while,might clear my mind.."He agreed with him,taking a sip of pumpkin juice an then wiping it on his robe.

When Adam had asked about him liking a girl,but she liking someone else,Adam couldn't really help.He was in the opposite side of that.Him being the one liking other girls while Kurumi waited silently for him.Adam's question made him think about his past actions,just momentarily.Though,he could not forgive the girls for hurting him.Even he himself would not have gone that far. "I don't know what to say.I'm on the opposite end of that spectram this year.."

"I'm sure,if we research enough in the library we can figure out how a girls brain works.."

Her bluntness in insisting that he come with her to see the house-elves probably would have made him laugh had he not been really nervous and fearing meeting the creatures face to face. But really what can you expect? He had never seen anything like that before and for them to behave so...hostily in his first viewing of them was definately got good for his future impression of them. "Ok, Twinkle, right." he said hoping she was right about him not regretting this.

"You're welcome, but I'm sure plenty of people tell you you are smart. They must think so to give you that badge." he said with another smile. He was really glad he had met Kurumi, she seemed like someone he could trust, which was something he needed in a place full of new people. "Oh something you can help me with, are there any Professors I need to sort of...watch out for?" he whispered the last part, not knowing how well their range of hearing was from up at the front of the Hall. He knew that some teachers could be testy, his english teacher back home was a real character.

Alyssa finally managed to get herself over to the Gryffindor table. She looked for William and Rose. She spotted Nessie talking with some of the other students there and the House elf, who had stopped beating herself again...thank goodness...and figured that she wouldn't interrupt her. She could always catch up with her later. As she walked over to where William was sitting, she overheard him say to another student....



Alyssa chuckled to herself. "I've only known William for a couple of hours now, and already I know that he's a very friendly guy and he loves making friends and he definitely wants to win the House Cup this year".

"Hey there, William. Sorry it took me so long to catch up with you and Rose. Somehow I got waylaid by other Hufflepuff students and never got the chance to come over here until now."


Alyssa noticed Rose sitting nearby. She waved over to Rose. "Hey Rose. Yes I finally got myself over here. Sorry about that. Hi there," Alyssa reached over and offered her hand to the girl that Rose was talking with,"my name is Alyssa, nice to meet you."

"Thank you, Anne," Ariella replied, using her name as well. She noticed a few other familiar faces at the house table. As she listened to Headmaster Tate, her mind drifted to Quidditch. She had been practicing quite a lot over the summer and was beyond excited to go out for the team again. "Do you play Quidditch?" she asked Anne. That was usually the first question she asked anyone she met.

Adam let out a little laugh. He was definitely glad that this kid had chosen to sit down next to him because he needed the laughter right now. "It is an interesting and new experience talking to someone with the same name, but it's actually kind of cool," Adam said with a nod of the head.

He gave Adam a little smirk when he said he might go there. "Given the situation, I'm thinking I might end up wanting to go back." Stuff hadn't hit the proverbial fan so to speak, but Adam could feel it heading that direction in the near future. He didn't want to fight with Louisa, and he wanted to be a supportive friend to her, but it was just hard. "Maybe staying away from girls all together is better for one's sanity...or at least peace of mind."

Adam hadn't been expecting him to give him any real advice, since honestly he wasn't really sure that there was any advice too give, but he appreciated Adam's effort. So he was on the opposite end of the spectrum. "Well...it doesn't really sound like your situation is any more desirable than mine." In fact if it was really on the other end of the spectrum then Adam figured it was probably worse.

Adam let out a sigh. "If someone has compiled an accurate book on how to read girls, then we definitely need to find it!"

Plumeria had finished her food. She didn't want to get up from the table straight away, but then decided that she would go and speak to her sister Ronnie who was sitting with her friends a long way down the table. The only reason she had decided to sit by herself was because she felt as if she needed to think. Plumeria needed to think nearly all of the time. So she picked up her glass of punkin juice - which she noticed was nearly empty. But she thought she would carry it with her down the table and drink the remainder of the contents when securely seared with her sister.
She walked along side the table, gazing around at the other house tables as she did so. Plumeria then let her dark pink eyes wander over to the staff table, where the professors where all in mid-conversation with each other.
As she continued to stare in wonder, she heard a boys voice:

The boys voice drew nearer, but her eyes insisted upon exploring the great hall futher, and before she could stop her self, she had collided into the nearest person to her. She picked herself up quickly and noticed that the only people who had noticed her collision where the ones nearest to the accident. Including the boy who's voice she had heard. It was him whom she had bumped into and her pumpkin juice had spilled over the floor.
"Oh...I'm so sorry!" She exclaimed desperately to the boy. She tucked her silky blond hair behind her ear as she stood up to her fullest height. As she looked at him, she noticed that he was one of the first years she'd seen a number of times at the sorting. "I'm really sorry!" she said again, looking nervous. "I swear I'm getting clumsier by the day."

"Nice to meet you, Sage!" Adelyn said, grinning. "What year is your brother in, or is he out of Hogwarts already?" She asked, tucking a loose curl behind her ear. "But seriously, it is the best house, without a doubt."

Adam shook his head.The girls might be crazy,but not crazy enough for giving up an going cold turkey with girls.It just was that,one particular girl that was crazy,not all of them were.You sure you'd like to go cold turkey with the girls..I can't do it.."

Not really desirable..But I guess we can work it out together..Though-I think my situation calls for me to figure it out.No one can help me on that end of the road.I'm not the greatest with getting on girls good side-not saying I can't get one..Trust me I've had more than one.. but I can help you out the best I can..Once I know the situation better.Adam offered an suggested.The only way to get through it was to help one another.The boys must team up if they wanted to survive with the girls.

I'll head to the library..Never imagined myself saying that.."Adam was more disappointed that he had uttered those words.He never expected himself to actually go to the library,for anything,even if it were for fun..

Adam looked at Adam, seeing his point. "I see what you mean...besides I don't want to stop being friends with..." Adam gave a little wave of the hand to show he meant Louisa, but he didn't really want to say her name. After all he cared too much about her to simply stop talking to her all together. Not to mention he doubted Louisa would even let that be an option unless they got into some terrible fight and she never wanted to speak to him again.

Adam gave a little nod. "Sometimes there's not really anything anyone can do...you just have to figure it out yourself," Adam said with a little sigh. Adam was good at figuring things out for himself...he had basically raised himself after all, but that didn't mean that he knew what he was doing when it came to girls. He turned to look at Adam when he suggested banding together and gave him a little smile. "Strength in numbers, right?" Adam said with a laugh. It was nice to have another guy that could understand how...complicated this whole thing was. Of course Adam had Paulie too, and he was sure he could talk to him about it, but the more guy support the better, right?

"I think the best thing I can do is just try to shut off the feelings I have towards her. I don't really see another option..." Adam said, feeling the same as Adam did about hoping that a book could solve their problems. Surely if there was an easy answer out there, they wouldn't even need to be having this conversation. "The switch as I like to call it," Adam said, reaching out to take another sip from his goblet. Yep...that good old switch.

He leaned in more forward when Adam was about to mention the girls name,but he didn't seem he wanted to.Probably felt like he shouldn't be divulging the girls name right after having met Adam.He had a point too,if that was what he had been thinking,don't trust too soon,it could turn out to be a mistake.Not that Adam,himself was bad at keeping secrets,it was just something to go on by. No need to tell me her name..Maybe later on..When we know each other better.But,judging by this rather semi private conversation,we can at least come to agree that we have girl problems at the moment."

Adam grimaced.If he had been able to figure everything out correctly,he wouldn't be stuck in this position at the moment.So,he figured a little bit of advice could help,but truth was,he was probably too deep in trouble to have the advice actually work out for him in the end.He had dug the hole up himself,the hole he was trapped in.Just because he had been careless with his actions.Yeah..Build up an army of boys who are having girl troubles an just have a weekly meeting to discuss the events in our lives.."Adam teased.That would be a funny thing to see,experience.A bunch of guys all jammed into an empty classroom spilling their guts out.

I shut out my feelings for her without really knowing it.Actually,shut her out of my life when she still hadn't shut me out..I think I'll stay open for a while..Let things cool down..I was..I can't shut her out completely completely.."

Adam realized once Adam spoke that perhaps he had misunderstood why Adam wasn't divulging the name...it wasn't that he didn't trust Adam, because he did. At least, from how their conversation had been going so far Adam didn't really see why he couldn't trust Adam, and in all honesty he hoped that he could go to the guy in confidence. "I...uh...I don't mind telling you who she is, and maybe more details, but perhaps when we're somewhere without hundreds of people that could easily over hear," Adam said with a small inclination of the head, hoping that Adam followed what he meant. Really, Adam was bursting to get the perspective of a guy on the whole situation, and since Adam seemed willing to open up about his girl troubles to him, maybe that meant he could feel safe to do the same.

Oh God..." Adam said, rubbing his eyes with his hand slightly at the idea. "We'd probably end up looking like the girls on those talk shows that bring people together to try and work things out," Adam said, remembering back to some muggle show he had watched where the host had brought on two girls to discuss the issue of them both being into the same guy. Adam had promptly changed the channel deciding that that was just way too much drama for him.

Adam listened as he explained somewhat the situation between him and the girl that Adam assumed that he still liked. From what Adam could gather from the little info he had, Adam had broken the girls heart without meaning too. "Maybe you won't have to shut her out completely," Adam said, giving Adam a pat on the back. "Maybe we can figure out a proper plan of action or something..." Of course Adam had no idea what that plan of action would be until he got more details, since at the moment he didn't know much.

"She really is lovely, Twinkle," Kurumi smiled, a slight blush appearing on her cheeks. "It took me some time to convince her that I was perfectly alright baking things by hand and without the use of magic. I think she thought I was punishing myself for whatever reason." Kurumi never saw it that way.Not using magic was sometimes a blessing in disguise.

Kurumi shrugged her shoulders. "Some do, but others are not as kind with how they phrase it." Dictionary Eater came to mind. "I've just been one of those people who thinks that the only way they can prove their worth is by studying, and studying hard." Which she had done ever since she had received her first textbook in elementary school. They had a kanji practice book that they were supposed to complete by the end of the term. She had done so in the first few weeks. "Unfortunately, I do not recognize many of the professors this term. There are a lot of new faces." And sadly not the face of her favorite professor. Yes, she was keeping an eye on YOU, former History of Magic lady. "Professor Lafay, the Potions Mistress, is very strict, so be sure to always pay attention in her class and do not get on her bad side. I heard she set some students on fire in the past..."

Kurumi heard the doors of the Great Hall swing open, signaling that they could now retreat to their common rooms. Her eyes a blaze, Kurumi grabbed August's hand. "Come with me to the kitchens now, and we need to be quick." She needed to be in the common room as soon as possible to make sure everything was as it should be.

Jumping to her feet, she grabbed the third year and began her march across the Great Hall.

"Yeah, it's definitely good to know other transfers!" Tori agreed easily enough. "There's nothing wrong with looking like a dunce though. I mean, c'mon, neither of us are Ravenclaws, right?" Of course she was right. He was a Gryffindor and she a Slytherin --- clearly the two best Houses.

Tori beamed at mention of her homeland. "You should come visit sometime! I am a great tour guide. I swear, I know Beverly Hills like the back of my hand. And since you're Muggleborn, I can even show you all the movie stars!!!" She was so excited by this idea. Movie stars were way cool, after all. Who didn't like movie stars?!

IS IT? Heck yes it is! "OMG you have NO IDEA," Tori informed August, sighing dramatically. "In Cali, it is like, totes sunny like, all the time, and we get a gorgeous breeze from the ocean, and everyone wears their swim suits like 24/7. It is WAY too cold to do that here. And I've seen your FREEZING excuse of an ocean." She scoffed and flipped her hair over one shoulder. "How can you STAND to swim in the English Channel? I mean really."

" Yoou are very welcome" William told Ronnie." Some would say I am sweet and nice and others might not say that at all" William said to Ronnie."Sweets. bacon, chicken and jello, a vet nice array of foods to love" William said to Ronnie. " I basically like everything but artichokes and kale" Willia explained to Ronnie " Have you told the newbies about the Giant Squid?" Willaim asked Ronnie..

" You do nt have ri bow in front of me, I am just plain folk from back home in Turin, Italy" William explained to Amethyst." It is great to meet you, too" William said to Amethyst." My train would have been better if I met you sooner" Willaim laughed." So since I heard others call your name ,Amethyst, was that yoru birth stone?" Willaim asked her.

" Everyone in every house wants to win the house and the Quidditch cuo: /willaim told Alyssa," No problem, you were busy with your other friends" Willaim said to Alyssa." I always enjoy talking to you" William smiled. Wiliam did not want to interrupt the converstion between Rose and Aktssa, so he went back to eating.

"Hey Kurumi" Ness would have congratulated Kurumi on being prefect as she had already heard the news, but she could tell Kurumi wasn't too crazy about the attention. She giggled a little, but she knew Kurumi was serious. Professor Lafay was probably the strictest professor they had. "Trust me I'll make myself remember." She said putting a straight face back on. Thinking of Professor Lafay she thought of all the work they'd be getting this term, she hoped it wasn't going to be too much for to cope. Last term she did fine but anymore work and she didn't know what she would do.


Nessie smiled happy August would go with her one day. She really hoped her and August would be great friends for years to come. He was a really nice guy and surely he'd be an amazing friend.

"Sorry." She said again. He must have been so embarrassed but it was still so funny and she was still giggling a little. She took out her wand preparing to use scourgify but then house elf apeared again. She watched the elf with everyone else. Then all of a sudden the elf started poking itself in the eye. Nessie mouth opened wide in shock. How could the elf do that to itself. She never understood elves. She wanted to help the elf somehow but she didn't know how she could.



BOOM! Nessie turned around to see that Kurumi had fainted and was now lying on the floor. "OMG!" Was all she could say. She was in shock and she could barely move. She had never seen somone faint before in her life and she found really scary. It wasn't something she wanted see ever again. She watched August as he knelt down beside Kurumi. She heard him mumble a few things but the only word she really heard was help.

Help okay Kurumi needed help but just as Ness was about to go get help Kurumi's head shot right up and went to straigh into August's head. They seemed to be alright though, but just encase she decided to ask."Are you two both alright?"She hoped they were. She wondered why Kurumi fainted in the first place it must have been the elf but that didn't make sense because Kurumi was always in the kitchen with the elves making cookies.Though her question got answered for her as Kurumi explained to everyone why she fainted. Nessie took a deep breathe trying to calm herself down.

'I know. My mom almost fainted.' Jackie giggled. 'Then she realized the funny things that happened was actually magic.'

"And where are you from?" She asked.

"Thank You. I hope that might be better." she said smiling."This is your last year of study?"
