"Okay let's see........well, there is this one time where my mate Rose and I were in the treehouse on the grounds." she began. "We were having fun and chatting when all of a sudden, a Slytherin came in and set the treehouse on fire!" she said. "I some how fainted, and my friend Rose had left thinking I was still there. Everyone was shouting up at me to come down and stuff, and then my friend climbed all the way up again and couldn't life me out. Then, she thought of the levitating spell, and she used 'Wingardrium Leviosa' on me and got me safely out. Then she jumped from the treehouse to the ground, and we were all safe." Ronnie said, remembering the whole thing very clearly. "Also, this one time I was just sitting by the Whomping Willow, petting my rat. But I was sitting a bit too close, and all of a sudden, one of the branches started beating me up!" she said. "It was very frightening! They kept hitting me and hitting me and wouldn't stop, I finally managed to crawl away and I was hurt very bad. Thankfully, a student helped me to the hospital wing and it didn't turn out that bad." Ronnie said. "I can't remember any other ones.....I know theres more, but they won't come to my head!" she said laughing.

"Wow how exciting!" Elsie said her eyes widening at the stories. "I hope my first year is that exciting!" Elsie thought of everything she had done in her first week, apart from a few classes and quidditch tryouts she hadn't done too much yet.
"Do you have any tips for having a good first year?" Elsie asked, becuase if anyone would know it was a second year student.

Willow walked into the common room, slightly annoyed with herself that she missed Quidditch tryouts. Oh well, there was always next year. Seeing Elsie, she went over and joined her. "Hey there! How was tryouts? I went and watched, you're a really good flyer!" Willow smiled. "When do you find out if you've got a spot on the team or not?"

Elsie noticed Willow walked into the room. "Hey Willow! Thanks, I wasn't my best today though, but there not over yet! You need to talk to the Quidditch captain so you can try out to!" Elsie said. She really hoped both of them would make the team, though she knew it was really unlikley!"The team gets picked in about a week I think!"

Prue walked in, hearing talk about the Quidditch term she perked up a bit, hearing what they were speaking about... talk to the Quidditch captain... eh... her sister would kill her, plus she was quite uncoordinated as it was. Quietly she edged around, trying to move to her bed without them noticing her...

"Hmm, yeah maybe I will. Thanks." Willow said to Elsie. Maybe it wasn't too late? "What position are you hoping for?" she asked, sitting cross-legged on the window sill.

"I tried out for chaser today, but I do know how to play seeker as well." Elsie told Willow. The competition for everything was pretty tough, she didn’t know what she had the best chance for. Likely outcome for Elsie was that she would have to wait until next year. “What about you, what do you want to try out for?"

"Really? Well it's good you've got diversity because that'll give you a better shot at getting in!" said Willow, trying to boost Elsie's confidence. "That way, if you get chaser, and one day the seeker's sick, you can take their place!" She thought that was a pretty smart tactic if she did say so herself! "I'm the same as you, seeker and chaser!" Willow smiled as a thought came into her head. "Now if you need any extra practice, we can do it together, a bit of friendly competition!" she laughed.

"That would be great! I want to get all the practise in I can! When shall we go?" Elsie said, glad she now had a practising buddy.
Elsie was really glad she had met Willow, they seemed to be alike in many ways and had gotten on really well so far. She wondered if Willow would be one of those friends you have all the way through school.
"I can't do it today though, I have work from the subjects I have been going to." Elsie said remembering the notes she needed to re write from her first Defence Against the Dark Arts, Charms and Herbology class. She had to write so much down so quickly most of her notes were so messy you could hardly understand them.

Willow laughed and couldn't wipe the grin off her face! She was really lucky to have met Elsie, they just seemed to click straight away!
"Yeah, they really like stacking on the homework don't they!" she said. "Maybe on the weekend or after school if our homework quietens down?" she suggested, though Willow didn't really believe the homework would quieten down much..

"Yeah!" Ronnie said smiling. "It will be exciting, you can count on that!" Ronnie said. "Well...try not to get into too much trouble. Listen to your teachers. The basic stuff." Ronnie said laughing.

Luna comes in hurriedly through the Fat Ladies Portrait and asks "Has anyone seen a scarlet book, it has a golden L & P engraved in the middle of it, I thought I had left it near the fireplace, but I don't seem to find it"

Prue looked up, realizing that staying hidden on her bed probably wouldn't work for much longer anyway. The girl who walked in seemed somewhat familiar... oh well, shaking that thought out of her head she looked up.
"Sorry... I haven't seen it but I can help you look if you want?"

Luna turned around to where the girl was, and said "Oh, Hi, my name is Luna, Thank You for offering your help.." Luna said smiling, "Well, I thought I had left it in near the fireplace, but is not there.. I've looked in my bed and trunk, somehow it disappeared.." she said, clearing her throat. "Is there any other place I should look? Should I report it to the prefect?"

"Thanks for the Advice Ronnie!" Elsie said, Ronnie seemed really nice. hopefully they would become friends!
"This weekend would be a good time to practise I think!" Elsie said, "You were trying out or keeper right Ronnie? Did you want to practise wilth Willow and I?" Elsie asked, surly three practising together is better than two!

"Any time!" Ronnie said smiling. "Yeah, sure! I'd love to practice with you guys." Ronnie said smiling.

OOC: I changed my mind on playing Keeper, since I am way too busy for any of the try outs so I decided not to. So she'll just practice with you guys!

Prudence smiled at the other girl. I'm Prudence-Melinda... just call me Prue though... um... maybe around the study tables, someone could've taken them over there... or perhaps someone else took it and is looking for you? she offered, getting to her feet and stretching slightly, covering her mouth as she yawned, causing her face to go scarlet red. "Sorry... it's been a long day...

"Hey Ronnie!" Lily said as she passed by Ronnie, standing by a girl she didn't know. "Hi ...sorry I don't know your name," she added to the other girl. "By the way, have you seen Rose?" :techni:

'Lilly!' Rose burst in, still bleeding. She stepped forward to hug her, but decided against it. 'You don't wanna get bloodied!' Rose smiled.

"What happened to YOU?" Lilly took a few steps back. "Have you seen Violet recently?"

'Beaten up.' Rose shrugged. 'Naw, I haven't, sorry!' Rose said. 'People keep saying you need to talk to me?' Rose said curiously.

"Not really. Just havn't seen you for a while. By the way, who beat you up?" It was Lilly's turn to be curious.

'Oh, all right!' Rose smiled. 'Um... Nessie. A Hufflepuff...' Rose sighed.

"Why? Does Violet know?" said Lilly, feeling uneasy.

Rose shook her head. 'No. I might tell her, but I'm not going to the teachers.' Rose said firmly.
