Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Carriwitchet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby. | |

The angry third year sneered as the seventh year rambled. “You blaady clown.” He growled. “You afftah earn respect.” Throwing stuff at people and acting like.. like this(!) was not going to earn said respect any time soon.
He glanced over at the 'pretty prefect princess', as Josh called her. What was this he TALKING about? :S A fight? His eyes shot back to Josh. He didn't WANT a fight. His ma would kill him for getting into a scrap so soon. Although he did like the idea of smacking Josh one for being so.. so..

So Tom didn't have the right descriptive word in his vocab for what Josh was being. Freddie would've been good to have around right now because. A) He was a walking dictionary and, B) He was pretty sure Josh wouldn't be acting this way if big bruv was present. Freddie was mild mannered and a gentleman.. but being tall, unsmiling and shaving your head had it's pluses.

Carter entered the Common Room and headed straight for the notice board. There he pinned an announcement dealing with Quidditch.
He took a step back and admired his work. Sure, Destiny still had his badge, but that didn't mean that he couldn't take care of posting the sign-up list.
But he would have to get the badge back before try-outs. There was no way he'd expose his team to the Slytherin's influence.
...At least, not yet.
"Anyone interested in playing Quidditch this term, sign ups are now open!" he said to his fellow house mates.
Now, to find Josh. He needed to make sure his owl survived the summer.

He took a step back and admired his work. Sure, Destiny still had his badge, but that didn't mean that he couldn't take care of posting the sign-up list.
But he would have to get the badge back before try-outs. There was no way he'd expose his team to the Slytherin's influence.

"Anyone interested in playing Quidditch this term, sign ups are now open!" he said to his fellow house mates.
Now, to find Josh. He needed to make sure his owl survived the summer. Rose beamed, her eyes twinkling as she heard this. She was determined to get on the team this year as well. Wild dogs wouldn't keep her away! She let out a loud whoop. Quote:

She placed him on the chair along with Twirl. Scabbers scurried up to Twirl and sniffed her nose. Twirl licked Scabbers, Scabbers squeaked and curled up next to her, Twirl lied down with him. "Aww, they love eachother!" Ronnie said.

"I take it by the fact that you're posting this, you're the new Il Capitano!" He gave him a quick pat on the back. "Congratulations mate! It's a position well deserved!" Rafe looked at the memo. Rafe knew Carter would most likely be the captain, he was well skilled and had been on the team for seven terms. Rafe couldn't imagine anyone else more qualified for the job. "Hmm...I wonder if I should try out? Go out with a bang, just like old times, huh?" Rafe lightheartedly laughed.
