Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Carriwitchet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby. | |

Was there some tension in the air? Had the boy suddenly decided that he hated her for some reason? Whatever the reason, it was clear that the air between the two of them had awkwardness written all over it.
Kurumi's head snapped back towards the fireplace.
Kurumi saw Selina walk in and a small smile crept across her face. Really, she should have scolded her for punching Adam in the stomach, but as long as the boy hand't fainted or anything, she was going to let it slide this time. Besides, Kurumi had made contact first.
When she saw her best friend gesture towards the dorms, Kurumi nodded and mouthed 10 minutes to her. She would finish up down here and then head upstairs. She had the feeling that neither her nor Selina would be sleeping much that night.
" You have a twin brother?" Kurumi asked. Her eyes widened a bit again. How strange that just because the boy had been born in Japan that he was given a Japanese name. Not only that, but it was the name of her father's dog. Kurumi tried not to laugh. " I am actually from Japan, but it is a very small town. You've probably never heard of it." It certainly wasn't Tokyo to be sure.
And then there was Rose again with the kittens. Kurumi sighed and walked over to her. " Rose, I am going to have to ask you to keep these guys in your room or take them to see our new Care of Magical Creatures professor." They had already discussed this in the dormitories. One cat. Not five.
Oh, there was the boy she had met earlier at the feast. Blushing a bit, Kurumi waved first and then called out. " AV! You should com join us," she smiled. Well, by join us she really meant her and Walnut. How awkward. Av heard his name being called and noticed it was Kurumi. "oh hey, yeah for sure. what are you guys chatting about?" he asked while walking over.

Plumeria walked into the gryffindor common room and look around it with her friendly dark pink eyes. Then she sighed, and stalked over and sat on one of the warm and snuggly couches. She felt slightly nauseous as she stared into the dancing flames of the fireplace.
There was a lot of noise surrounding her, and Plumeria wondered whether she would ever be able to get into the hypoactive mood that many of the gryffindors where in. She supposed she would...eventually. But right now...Plumeria had eventually chosen this exact moment to admit to herself that she felt home-sick. She missed her family. And she thought that it was great here with her sister Ronnie, but she felt as if she would never fit in.
She snuggled deeper into the couch - and began to fiddle with a piece of her long golden blond hair. She realised after a few moments that she was trying to hide the fact that she felt alone. Plumeria then just decidedthat she was feeling all of these negative feelings because she was tired. Yes, she thought. She was just tired. But she didnt want to go to sleep just yet. So she decided that she would stay in the cOmmon room for a bit longer and see if she could come up with a better solution as to why she was feeling so lonely.

And then Kurumi saw Adam. Well, the OTHER Adam. The one who was't a complete and utter self centered idiot. She shook her head to calm herself down. Her hair was going to turn red again at this point.
"Hello Adam," Kurumi smiled, looking up from a book he was reading on the couch. "Been off exploring?" "Hey Adam, Nice to meet you Im "AV". what year are you in?" he asked for he looked around his age. "Awww Kurumi, you seem a tad down. Want to talk about it?" he asked her. He also had the sudden urge to get up and Hug her. He started to blush a bit.
