The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through.
"Carriwitchet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby.

Kurumi arched an eyebrow. Kicking was completely uncalled for. She would wait to see how the girl reacted, but kicking another member of your house was not the best way to start off the term.

And he knew what that lacked; energy. Normally the boy was pretty much energetic all time but after the meal, for some reason, he had started to feel so...sleepy. Maybe the long train ride had tired him or it was the pay off for all the work he had done during the summer. Whatever it was...the eighteen year old lion boy slowly took his tie and robes off, threw them at somewhere at random without paying attention to where they would land on and jumped on a couch before the crackling fire.
Comfy!!!!!! It had been so long time since the last time he had slept on something so comfy. That was going to be awesome.
Kurumi giggled. She was wonder when the other King of the Gryffindors was going to make his appearance. And, just like every year, he did so with a loud voice and made quite the entrance.
"Hello, Josh," Kurumi she smiled, noting where his tie and everything fell. "A-Are you sure that you want to just throw your things around like that? I am not sure where Walnut is at the moment..."

Professor Kurumi. Had a nice ring to it though.
SPOILER!!: Selina & Gideon

Then she laughed at Gideons comment and walked over to them both, "Well I don't know you Gideon, how do I know that YOU don't bite? I trust Kurumi over there." Then she laughed and pressed on, "No you don't seem like that kind of person. So what are you two talking about?"

Getting comfortable himself, Gideon listened to Kurumi speak of where she had disappeared to after the feast, the boy frowning at what he was being told. "Odd...and getting more and more odd..." he mused. The kitchens had always been open to students even at odd times...you didn't necessarily have to wait for food at meals which was a good thing for hungry teenagers.
Catching sight of Selina waving to them, he turned more fully to see her gesture. When he looked between the two girls and saw Kurumi mouth something the boy figured it was a girl thing. He waved back before changing it to a come heither gesture.
"Ye can come join us...I don't bite," he teased in half jest in reference to her 'speaking' from afar.
Kurumi looked at Selina. Hadn't she wanted her to head up to the dormitories? Maybe the third year was wanting a bit of a distraction.
"House elves....I'm really worried about them."

The fourth year watched as she walked over to the two of them wrinkling his nose at her teasing back. "Funny," Gideon replied adding his own laughter into the mix as Selina spoke again assuring him she didn't take him for being like that. Almost quite similiar to his earlier assurances that he didn't believe he was all that Elektra had spoke of her as.

"House elves....I'm really worried about them."
Gideon looked back over to the entrance as a loud voice could be heard. One belonging to an older student he certainly remembered from previous encounters. It was kinda hard to forget the biy's antics. "Um hello," he said returning the greeting, watching as he took off his robes and tie haphazrdly before shaking his head and returning to Selina and Kurumi especially as the prefect of the two dealt with the older boy...Josh she named him as.
He was about to answer Selina's question when Kurumi beat him to it. "Aye...they have been the source of some weirdness." Though not to discount there always was some bit of weirdness at the school each term...it just was effecting the house-elves for once.
'R-R-Ronnie...' Rose sobbed. 'I have t-to g-give the k-kittens away, a-and I want y-you to have one...' Rose smiled waterly. She picked up the kittens and placed them on Ronnie's lap. 'P-Pick one.' she smiled. Maxine jumped up and licked her kittens.
Ariella, dozing off in the beyond comfortable armchair, suddenly noticed her good friend Rose wailing to Ronnie. Her face was streaked with tears. "Rose?" she exclaimed, jumping up and racing over to her friend. "Are you okay? What's wrong?"
Josephine placed her hand in her chin, as if thinking "DADA and Flying! I wanna try out as seeker in my second year! And you?"
"I can't wait for flying! Quidditch is my life! I want to try out as a beater in my second year too! DADA sounds very cool too!" Sage said becoming must more active while talking to Josephine.
"Thank you Lucy," Kurumi smiled back with a slight hint of blush on her cheeks. "I'm...doing alright." Could be better considering that she was still worried about the house elves. Even the food had tasted off...
Lucy smiled as Kurumi replied; Kurumi really had the talent of cooking that Lucy loved. Lucy noticed Kurumi's say turning out a bit sad. It felt like she was thinking about something. "Hey, what's the matter, you look kind of worried or something, what happened?" Lucy asked in a caring way.

Lucy saw someone entering the room, it was a familiar face, but didn't quite know him that well. She tried to ignore him, looking at his behavior, but she couldn't. Then she heard him shouting. She smiled at him and began eating the cookies handed out by Kurumi, oh; she didn't want to miss any of that. Soon as she was about to take another piece something just landed on her head? She took it off her head and saw it was a tie, she looked around for the owner, there it was the same guy, who she just smiled at. He was just throwing him robes and stuff just like that. She looked at the boy and said "Hey, this is how you take care of your belongings?" she asked in an angry manner.

Kurumi laughed. She was rather flattered that her tiny frame of being just barely five foot was mistaken for someone older. Usually it was always the other way around. Her robes were also a kind of give away. "We always learn from our mistakes," she winked. "I'm Kurumi, by the way."

"The food wasn't up to standards either...did anyone else have a fly in their pumpkin soup?" She looked back and forth between Selina and Gideon. Where they really not as concerned as she was? She was tempted to break down the kitchen door to get in - if it wouldn't cost her house any loss of points that is.

Kurumi smiled, a forced smile, but a smile nonetheless. "It was just a more eventful feast than I thought it would be," she said simply. From Adam to house elves, there had been so much drama.

Selina looked back and forth between Kurumi and Gideon. What exactly were the two talking about? The food seemed fine to Selina and what in Merlin's name where they both concerned about? Well, it seemed more like Kurumi was worried than Gideon, but still she was confused.
Feeling slightly awkward she asked timidly, "Um, not to be rude, but, uh, what are we exactly worried about?"
Then she caught the eye of Kurumi and raised her eyebrows toward the Dorms. If she was ready so was Selina.
Did you just lose something? The GAME? Sorry... 'Justin Bieber, he is the man!' U mad, Felton!?

'Ariella!' Rose smiled. 'I-I've got these kittens, M-Maxine gave birth to them, a-and I've got to get rid of them, and I-I want you to have one!' Rose said. 'P-Pick one!'

"Carriwitchet!" Tiffany walked into the common room as the door opened. She looked around this new place. As a first year student, she was very excited and interested in all the new things she came across. She walked inside and took a sit to make herself comfortable."It would be a nice year for me, absolutely!"she thought to herself.
She smiled at his answer. She seemed to be doing that a lot more than usual since her fight with her best friend. "Oh do you like to draw?" she asked, very interested. She didn't know anyone that was good at art.
"Thanks." She gave him a small smile. "I'm actually in this really big fight with my best friend at the moment. I'm not sure we're gonna get over it, which is really upsetting since she's, like, my only and best friend and I've know her since 1st year." She really hated thinking about Nika at the moment. Especially after she was so horrible to her.
She really didn't like him frowning. Or anyone for that matter. It made her feel like she'd done something wrong. "Yeah." she said simply, fiddling with the hole in her shirt again. "I-It's complicated, but all I know is that they're my real family. Family is just complicated." She shook her head to dismiss it. "Sorry to dump this all on you. It dosn't matter, and like I've said a dozen times already, it's complicated." That was becoming something of a catchphrase for her now.
Tom nodded. “Yeah. S'the only fing I woz any good at at me maggle school.” And this was no lie. Tom was an A-grade student in drawing and painting. It was every other subject that let him down. He was secretly dreading the first class at Hogwarts.
A fight? Tom's expression became serious as Emily spoke of her fight with her friend. Tom didn't know how that felt. His best friend was his dog and he'd certainly never had a fight with Diego. “I'm sure you'll work it ou' if you're best mates.” He replied. “..Is she a Gwyffie too?”
His eyes moved to the hole she was fidgeting with in her skirt, then back to her face. Perhaps he shouldn't have asked such a direct and personal question. His ma was always telling him he was too blunt with people. He chewed the inside of his cheek as Emily explained. “I fink I get tha'.” He said with a nod. “I mean, if they're raisin' yer... an' you weren't 'appy wiff your blaad parents.” Tom had known kids get taken into care. Hell, he'd been visited by a social worker on occasion before when he was playing truant from school. His home life though, was mostly happy, thankfully.
He shook his head. “Dun' be sorry. I dun' wanna pry or noffin', bu' I can listen if yer need me to.” He gave her a pointed and reassuring smile. He could do that, couldn't he?

Tom's gaze automatically moved to the door when it opened and someone announced their arrival in a very loud (and obnoxious in Tom's opinion) way. He frowned. Some people liked themselves just a little bit too much, didn't they?
And then, all of a sudden, everything went DARK!
*scowl*
He pulled the robe off his head and narrowed his eyes on the older boy. He.. sort of reminded him of someone. Someone Thomas disliked with a passion.
Clutching the robe in one hand, he stood and skulked over to where the boy was on the sofa, not deterred by the fact that he was a lot older. “You wanna be more careful where you frow your fings?” He asked, quite clearly annoyed. “I ain' a blaady cloves rail!”
He chucked the robes back at the boy. Next time he'd set them on fire.. if he'd managed to learn that spell by then..
Well, Herbology is in the Greenhouse and you learn about herbs and which plants are dangerous," Sage said bring her knees to her chest and starring into the fire, "You know, stuff like that!"
"Oh, I hate plants and stuff. They are just so boring." Ella said. Her mum had a vegatable patch in the garden and insisted that Ella helped out at least at least once a week.

"Hello, Jordan. yes He's a Phoenix My Mum gave Him to Me. His name's Helios." said Maxwell feeling very proud of his pet.
"Wow!" Jordan sighed. "I've never seen one before, I've only heard of them!" Taking it all in, seeing Maxwell's phoenix made him think about his owl, Jazz, he'd vusut her later.
With a tremendous sense of awe, Lauren took in the sights of the Gryffindor Common Room. Everything about if presented a feeling of warmth, because of the colours and the comfy looking furniture and even the people!
It was good to be a lion, or so it seemed.
" Yes, I am a quicky" William laughed. "So are the classes up right now?' William asked Anna." I just wanred to hang out on the couch' William said to Ann. " Are you going to classes?" William asked Ann.
"I think later." Anna looked in the direction of the ladder "I still have to unpack my baggage."

"What do you think of the common room then?" Ella said looking towards the massive fire place and wonderfull decorations.
Joseph walked into the room and went straight to Josephine and kicked her leg
Josephine jumped and tackled her twin brother to the ground, then wiped her hands in her robes "I told you not to kick me" she said cooly.

As Elsie entered the common room and the biggest wave of excitement came over her. The Gryffindor common room. Yes, this is where she belonged.
She spotted a girl across the room she thought she remembered from the sorting ceremony, she walked over to her.
"Hi I'm Elsie, you're a first year to right?"
"Wait, plants eat... what?" Ella asked. Never has she come accross a plant that eats humans, maybe Sage was getting confused with that plant that eats flys and stuff.
"Yeah, you know," Sage angrily chomped at the air as if to prove her point, "And the plants that scream so loud that theyll knock you unconscious"
Sage continued to stare into the fire, not realizing the fact that Ella didn't know that there actually was eating plants.
