" You and yoru buddy Scabbers" William laughed. "So can I see your pcture?" William asked Ronnie." You have a cat, too?" Willaim asked Ronnie.

Ronnie laughed. "Yeah! That's my new kitten Twirl!" she exclaimed, pointing at the kitten who was running around in circles, chasing her tail while Scabbers watched (looking hypnotized) "They just love each other!" she said smiling. "Oh and I'm drawing a picture for Rose. It's of her cat and her kittens, it's basically finished! Just adding additional touches. What do you think?" she asked, showing William.

Jordan had seen the changing eye colour display from across the common room, he leaned in and whispered in her ear. "Are you a metamorph? Its just the eyes suggest so."

" Hi there Twirl" Wiliam called out to the kitten." Glad Scabbers and Twirl like each other" Willaim said to Ronnie." Very sweet of you to draw a picture for Rose" Willaim told Ronnie." Looks great, Rose will love it" Willaim explained to Ronnie.

Charles gaped at her as she started talking about Dragons. Woah, this girl really did have a thing for magical creatures. He'd never known anyone, especially a girl, who found dragons interesting as a study. And frankly, he's never had a thought to spare on dragons. "They are quite powerful, " He agreed, pulling himself together. "But I don't think you can tame dragons, right?" He asked her, scratching his head. He's never heard of a tame dragon, so why would Kurumi want to be a drangologist? Wouldn't that be dangerous, in terms of jobs? "And how are they intelligent? I mean yes, they can look after themselves, but that's practically what every other beast does, isn't it?" He added. That might've been a somewhat stupid question, but Charles didn't really notice because he was too busy digesting the idea that a girl was interested in dragons.

"Oh no, don't worry about it. " He grinned at her, as she blushed. Come on, there wasn't any reason for her to blush. "It's an .., er interesting topic." He nodded, quite untruthfully.

"Lovely to meet you too, " He said, restraining himself from adding 'dragon lover' and shaking her hand once more before letting go.


The common room was as crowded as ever, with people gossiping all around, but Charles didn't mind, the chatter always made him feel exuberant for some reason. Perhaps it was because it reminded him that everyone was active but it was probably because it was a noise of some sort. And Charles liked noise. ALOT.

A sudden fondness of the Gryffindor sprung up in his chest, he looked around the common room fondly, absentmindedly patting the armchair he was sitting on. He saw another boy approach the armchair opposite his and then sink into it with a sigh of relief.

"Comfy enough, eh?" He asked him, nodding at the armchair. "Best place to spend your quiet hours, " He added, expressing this strange likeness of the common room. Not that he hadn't liked the common room before, it was just that he'd never fully appreciated its comfortable-ness. Charles was in a weird mood.

Ella hardly knew what an archaeologist was herself but she knew a bit. "Well I am not too sure myself. I do know that my dad is always fascinated by old things and the past and stuff. So I guess it's something like that. I'll ask him when I go back for Christmas."

Now Ella had read something about the Ministry of Magic so she knew what that was about but she still had no idea what a Wizengamot was, apart from the fact that it was clearly something to do with law enforcement. She was completely clueless about what a Dragonologist was. Surely it wasn't anything to doo with Dragons, after all they aren't even real are they? Even if they are why would people want a job to do with them? They are surely lethal, dangerous creatures if they do excist.

"So what is the Wezgamt?" Ella asked curiously. Then deciding to also ask about this Dragonoligist she said. "...And what does a Dragonoligist do?"

"Plans for the future?" She raised her eyes to the ceiling and thought. "I had not thought about it. May take up astronomy,I love stars, but I would gladly agreed to work as a teacher!" She looked at the girl with joy in her eyes. "I think it's great to give people the joy of new knowledge!"

Breaking brooms? Honestly. "Nah, I don't think you'll break any brooms, unless you fall flat on your face, of course." Jordan said laughing, he could remember a memory that just popped into his head, like a vision. He was riding a Firebolt, the fastest broom in the world, he took a wrong turn, fell and smashed into the stands. This was the first time, a vision had come into his head, but the worst part was, that he had never remembered that vision, ever since his parents died. "Yeah, so, anyways, I think this year will be a lot of fun!"

Maxwell's mouth was very full and busy when Josephine asked what card He had gotten. "...I got Albus Dulmbledore, again!" Maxwell laughed at His lack of luck. "Can I ask You a question?" Maxwell said with a slightly more serious face.

"And, and then they would take points away from our house and they would be mad at us..." Sage said alarmed. Her brain was racing with all the bad things that could happen during class!

Sage giggled as Ella tried to pronounce Wizengamot.

"Well, first of all it Wizengamot. Don't worry aabout saying wrong, it's kinda a tounge twister. Second, Wizengamot are wizards or witches who are apart of 'wizarding Britain's high court of law and parliament'," Sage finished lowering her voice so she sounded big and strong, "At least, that's how my brother describes it, that's what he wants to be when he's old enough. Now a Dragonologist is kind of like a magizoologist, 'cept they only study Dragons."

Once Sage was done she popped a few of the Haribos in her mouth.

Josephine's eyelids lowered "I don't know... I don't think so because only my eyes change color, I'll have to ask a professor" she opened her eyes again and smiled.

Josephine stared at Maxwell "Of course you can!" she smiled happily "You don't need to ask" she assured.

Josephine hid her face in her hands and curled in a ball "I would be SO ashamed of that! I would turn red and everyone would laugh at my face!" she said worriedly without showing her face.

Lucy looking at the boy giving her a smile she gave gave him a smile back "Nice meeting you Sep. That's a very unique name Septimus". she said to the boy.

Lucy just could not just believe at what she heard from the boy. Was he serious about what he just said? She couldn't figure out what the boy was up to. How disgusting and cheap was that. Well it was very clear now that boy had no sense of humor nor he did he gave any respect to girls. How could her mother tolerate him..Gosh what a jerk..

Lucy stared at the boy with big eyes and said "Enough, now i wouldn't hear even a word for you. You need to apologize right now for this behavior of yours or else i'll be complaining it to the house mod." she said. She couldn't help but stared at the boy continuously.

Maxwell looked at Josephine for a moment trying to think of the words to use. "Josie, when Your brother said We would 'become a thing' and You said We were 'just friends' did You mean that or?.."

"No, I don't think so either!" Ronnie said laughing. "Yeah, I think the year will be fun too." Ronnie agreed. "So, what are you looking forward to the most?" she asked.

"You know... maybe I'll put a note on the board encouraging people to do that." Carter replied. It would be a fun way for house unity.

Carter opened his mouth to ask when Rafe would have heard about that... but thought better of it. Rafe probably knew everything he did that summer. "Thanks mate." he said clapping his friend's shoulder. "You have no idea how nervous I was." With both getting captain and making a professional team.

He let out a relieved sigh. "That's great." he said. Why was Rafe upset by that news? He blinked twice. "What do you mean by that exactly?" Was Rafe seriously over Marilyn? Did that mean he didn't need to feel guilty every time they were together? The guy did propose just last year.

Ronnie laughed. "I'm glad they like eachother too." Ronnie said. "And thank you! That's very nice of you to say!" Ronnie said.

Josephine blushed and twiddled her fingers "We're best friends" she said smiling and then she realized he wouldn't believe it "I'll give you a full answer when I know it myself" she assured him

Jordan sighed with disappointment, "Oh ok, it would've been cool if you were." he smiled, "Thanks for the frog though, I got Hermione Granger! I've never got her before!" he smiled.

Nessie walked confidently into the common room. Smiling at all the others she decided to sit down. She sat cross-legged next to the fire taking in all it's warmth.

"That sounds interesting," answered Plumeria. "But I've never been very good at Astronomy despite how much I love the stars. I always remember camping out with my siblings. We would all just lie in the tall grass and stare up at the stars before going back in the tent. I really have lost count of the amount of shooting stars that I've seen." She had a flash-back of the many times over the summer that her and her siblings camped out in the fields by her home. "I don't think people realise how beautiful the universe is. That's mainly the reason that night time is my favourite time of day. Because it's so bright and peaceful." She smiled at Anna, suddenly hoping that Plumeria wasn't boring her. "Oh, sorry - I hope I'm not boring you," she said, chuckling. "Yeah, I'm no good at Astronomy, and I want to be a healer when I leave Hogwarts. A healer in dark hexes and curses."

"I'm not getting tired of conversations, on the contrary, they cheer me up." Anna smiled to Plumeria. "The healer is very responsible work. It's wonderful that you want to master this profession." Anna tried to imagine myself in swarms healer, but it has nothing came of it. "I'm here, for example navryatli can be a healer, just because I have problems with concentration and sometimes I get distracted, which greatly hindered me in class, but on the other hand sometimes it helps to notice things that are of any personal interest." She said putting her hair in a ponytail and drag them with a ribbon of crimson. "So it's great that you're so dedicated!"

Sage laughed as Josephine curled into a ball and hid her face.

"Well, lets not worry about it right now! I hope we win the house cup though! The head of house seems nice," Sage said, changing the subject to something much more....positive!

"Hopefully this year we'll take the Cup! I mean Jack Fitzera would want it that way! I can't believe we haven't won sense him...well unless we won while I was away." He didn't really follow what happened while he was away. He just knew one year they had the cup, so Quidditch was a no go. "Wow, maybe you two will be playing against each other! That would be exciting!"

Rafe took in a deep breath. "I mean, I set out this summer to end any suffering she had and wanted her to be free to choose. She chose you. I've caused her too much pain, despite everything I've done to ensure her safety. I've haven't been completely honest with her and now she hates me for it. You've always been the better man Carter," he gave him a nudge on the shoulder. "I know she can be happy with you." Rafe took a moment and then smiled. Four or five years ago, he'd do everything he could to win her by any means, but now...he couldn't do it.

"I'm glad your family is safe too by the way. There was a close call, but everything worked out. Larentia grew very fond of Anya, that she's starting a Muggle division in our...department. Not that she's a muggle it turns out, but she liked observing your famliy. I'm sure Anya will come around to the idea of being a witch too." Rafe tried to give Carter a reassuring look. "Give her time, and just start being honest with her. It's the best you can do." Rafe didn't know if he should really be giving advice when it came to younger siblings. Yes, he had three younger ones of his own, but had very little contact until recently.

"Yes. Its something that I'm really interested in." exclaimed Plumeria, looking at a group of second years who where entertaining themselves with a game of exploding snap. "I hope to help a lot of people."

Josephine looked at him "I got Harry Potter! I have about three of Hermione Granger and two of Ron Weasley" she smiled "He's gone!" she said, showing him the card, Harry Potter was missing "I hate it when they do that!"

Josephine's face popped out of the ball "GRYFFINDOR FOR THE HOUSE CUP!" she yelled, her hands in the air, she started giggling "I want to beat Ravenclaw! Danielle would be so cocky if she won! I wouldn't stand being with her the whole summer without hitting her whole in the face!"
