Kimalia came into the bathroom take care of some.. business. Afterward, she walked up to the sinks to wash her hands while looking into the mirror. Her hair was really long, and really curly styled now. She wondered whether a new look would be good for her when her birthday comes up.

Dipping into her bag, she carried some muggle makeup. She was more familiar with them, and they were least likely to cause.. devastating effects should she mess up. She decided to tie her hair into a bun for now, maybe wear it down for classes. Oh, she had some eyeliner, she took it out and started applying it..

She didn't know how crucial it was to know where all the bathrooms where till it took her 15 minutes to find one. The little Slytherin burst into the bathroom in a flurry of hair and white and dove into a stall banging the door closed. "I made it," she said triumphantly.

Harlow would have died several times over if she had had an accident. She already looked like a living doll, she didn't need people calling her a baby on top of it.

Once she was done in the stall she walked out and headed over to the sinks to wash her hands. She watched the other girl standing there applying her make up. "How come you're using muggle makeup?" she asked curiously.

Kimalia had a distinct feeling she was being watched as she applied on her eyeliner, to confirm it, someone asked her a question. Keeping her eyes on the mirror checking to make sure it didn't look off. "Experimenting." She smiled in satisfaction after she finished. "My mom bought these so I could know how muggles do it." That and she was worried if she messed up the magical way it wouldn't be temporarily.. Kimalia then turned only to be looking down on a tall bush of hair. Blinked in surprise at the sight, but at the same time keeping her smile.

"Nice.. hair." She reaally had the urge to take some straightening potion or whatever to style it, despite how exotic it looked. Kimalia fought the urge though by staring, she looked familiar.. "Um, do I know you from somewhere?" She wasn't sure. "Anyway, I'm Kimalia." She held her hand out, which was already clean to shake.

Harlow didn't have an older sister, so she liked to watch how older girls did girly things. And putting on makeup was one of her favorites. "Your mommy bought you makeup?" She asked in awe. Her mom made it perfectly clear that Harlow was not allowed near makeup till she was seventeen. Though her cousin had given her a tube of lipgloss. She didn't have the courage to use it, yet. "My cousin Paris has a vanity table from CoCo Chanel that she charmed to put on her makeup for her. She always looks so pretty." Harlow said dreamily. "Can you use your wand to put it on too?" She was actually talking about girl things with another girl and not just her baby sister who just drooled and giggled at all the wrong times.

Harlow beamed and patted the lettuce shaped barrets in her hair at the compliment. "The bigger the hair the closer to God." Harlow told her with a tiny wink. She loved her hair, even if it was a tiny bit much for her to manage she still loved it. And would never cut her hair, ever. Plus Harlow learned hair styling spells and charms at a early age. "I don't think so. I'm in Slytherin though." So maybe she had seen her in the Great Hall at the table maybe, "Oh that's a really pretty name. I'm Harlow." she gave the girl the tiniest of curtsies. She shook the girls hand after she dried hers.

"Mmhm," Kimalia nodded digging into her bag for anything she felt like using. "I haven't tried charming them on yet, my mum thought it be best I use these until she feels ready to show me how." Which would probably be when she's old enough to do magic outside of school at this rate.

Kimalia laughed about her comment about her hair, then pondered when she mentioned not seeing her. Hmm.. She could be right, there would be no way one could miss her bush of hair. "Cool name, Harlow." Then Kimalia felt like being nice to this one, thinking of her, she dug into her bag to pull out her shiny red lipstick. "Here, you can have this." Kimalia gave it to her before swinging her bag over her shoulder. "Well, I got a letter to deliver, so maybe I'll see you in class." After her last smile, she waved on her way out the door. "Bye!"

It was a very cold day outside. Although Erin really loved the Hogwarts grounds, there’s no way she’ll risk her health in that windy and cold weather. It is a good time to finally have a stroll around the castle. She’s never really explored the inside of Hogwarts. She just hopes, she’ll bump into someone who’ll be willing to walk with her, or maybe stay in one place. She’d always fancied the stories she overhears at the common room about the different magical stuffs around the castle, like the Room of Requirement or the Mirror of Erised. She wanted to know it first hand or maybe discover something no one had ever known. That would be a great stroll.

She went up and down the moving staircases, playing with it for a while then going up and up and up and there at the fifth floor, something stole her attention. It was the girl’s bathroom. She definitely needs a pee. That may be the best place she’d ever come up so far on her stroll. She hurriedly pushed open the door.

No one was there. Erin doesn’t like a deserted room, that’s why she always stays in Hogwarts grounds. But, she really needs to pee right now. She gathered the courage and entered the bathroom. Seconds later, she’s done when suddenly…

BOOM!

“Who are you?” Erin was surprised to see a GIRL! Why would she be shouting by seeing a girl in here? This is the girl’s bathroom. Hastily, Erin peeked behind her back to see if there was a ghost. She can’t stand ghosts. “I thought you’re a ghost,” lowering her voice and sinking her head below. "I'm sorry. And hey, are you first year too?" Judging by the looks, she's older than her.

What was with the weather today?! She'd been planning on spending the day reading by the lake, but now how was she supposed to when it was windy?! Her least favourite weather type. Now she'd have to spend the day inside. But she didn't really mind. She'd just spend the day reading in the library instead. She already practically lived there anyway.
She'd just made it up to the second floor when she noticed the girl's bathroom. Had that always been there? Hmm. Hogwarts really was ever growing. She poked her head around the door and slowly walked over to the sinks. Then almost immediatly she slipped on a pool of water on the floor.

BOOM! "Ow!" That really hurt!

Then she heard someone call out, then appear in front of her. Ghost? She wasn't that pale was she? "Umm, no. No ghost I'm afraid. Sorry to scare you." She was just clumbsy that's all. As for her next question "Um, no I'm in third year." Did she still look that small? She'd grown, like, an inch during the summer. That was a growth spurt in her eyes. She stood up again, shaking her foot to get some water off it. "I'm Emily. Emily Smith."

She was as surprised as Erin was. What did she say her name is? Emily. "Nice to meet you Emily. I am not really getting used about ghosts in here. In Muggleworld, everyone's afraid of ghosts," Erin said looking really stupid for bringing up Muggle stuffs. She could probably be a Pureblood. She still continued, "And here," limping her head once again,"everybody's just so..." What was the word? "...so comfortable with them." Erin wanted to hear her take on the ghosts. "Are you afraid of them? Are you a Pureblood too? Don't you like Muggleborns? Are you..." she stopped then looked at Emily, "Oh, you're a Gryffindor."

And here she was again, Purebloods versus Muggleborns. She needs to drop this. She needs to. And so she continued, "Do you have a cellphone?" She just can't stop talking about everything Muggle. "I have mine but I just can't use it." She had visited the Muggle professor about this but it seems she's not around when she visited. He or she? Whatever.

She's just so full of questions but then added, "And aren't you cleaning that?" Erin said pointing to the water on the floor.

...That was a lot of questions to get in 30 seconds. She had a bemused look on her face and stood up straighter. "Woah, woah, woah. Ok, don't talk so fast!" She'd didn't even know the girls name!
"First off, no I'm not a pure blood. I'm half and half." That seemed to be the main issue here. "Next, I do like muggle borns. My best friend is one." She folded her arms. "And yeah I'm in Gryffindor. Your a Ravenclaw." That was the obvious out of the way.

She brushed the hair from eyes and swung her bag by her side. Then the girl started to talk about muggle stuff. Huh, she hadn't talked about that in a while. "Um, no I don't have one. And if I did I'd probably just get my sister's old one anyway." Money was pritty tight at the moment. "Oh muggle items won't work at Hogwarts. I read something in Hogwarts: A History about there being too much magic in the air for them to work." That's why she owled her family, though a phone would be cool. She just enjoyed impressing first years with all her magical knowledge!

She looked down at the water she was standing in and kicked it a bit. "I slipped in it actually. Though I know a spell that could clean it." Would you like to see it girly? Hehe. She knew her spells.

The girl seemed to lose her tracks. Erin laughed like she loves making pranks on people. Bad firstie. "Oh, I love Muggleborns too including Muggles," she smiled. "As you see, I'm one of them." Of course, she can't see. What a statement to blabbed. "I like you. You like us."

So, there's no way she can used her cellphone in here. That was a big disappointment. Desperate times. "Are there any way to use it? Can't I used magic or stuff?" she asked a little worried then added quickly, "Maybe, you can help me. You're third year. You knew more than I do," her eyes in delight as she looked up. Emily's quite tall.

"I wanna see it!" said Erin, so excited. She loves seeing new magic and if Merlin permits, learn it. "Go Emily! Go Emily! Go Emily! she shouted in tune.

Wow, this kid was seriously hyper. Mabye she'd had one too many chocolate frogs? But it seemed like she was always like this. Emily was still a little taken back by how fast she spoke. "So are you going to tell me your name yet or am I just going to have to guess?" Please don't make her guess.

Emily looked taken back but smiled all the same. "Sorry, I don't know how to make it work. You could always go see the muggle studies teacher." Though she didn't think he'd be able to either. Too much magic! "If you need to contact home you can always use my pet owl if you want. She's the small, tawney up in the owlery." Only letters though. She's so small packages might be to hard for her.

She smiled at the girl and took out her wand. Aw, she was cheering! Bless.
"Okay, okay here I go!" She cleared her throat and waved her wand. "Evanesco!" she cried, and suddenly the water vanished. Woo! She got it right first time!

Yes. When Emily spoke, Erin realized, she hadn't given her, her name yet. She paused for a while then said, "Erin." When Erin asked the third year about cellphones, she advised her to go see the Muggles Studies professor like Erin had in mind. "I plan to do that. And thank you for the offer about your owl." Third years are nice people. She smiled.

Oooh! "Great!" Erin respond hastily. Emily's really good in spells. Evanesco. Evanesco. Yes, she learned something today. That spell makes objects disappear. "Thanks Emily. Gotta go now. Bye!"

Erin. Nice name. "Nice to meet you..." she smiled folding her arms. She went over to the sink to wash her hands. They were sticky after so many sugar quills. "No problem. My owl will probably prefer you to me anyway." Why did her owl seem to hate her?

She turned the tap off just to see Erin leaving. Bye? "Um, okay. Goodbye." She shook her head. That was probably the wierdest conversation she'd ever had. But all in all she liked Erin. She was funny. She dryed her hands, picked up her bag and left. To the library!

Thea stood infront of the mirror, holding her wand above her head. It was only homework.. and she could put it right straight away; she just had to practise it! Phew. No stress.. none at all. 'Felintas..' She had closed her eyes, but she could feel the quick tingling sensation that told her it had worked. Opening her eyes, Thea cringed. she had made it simple. Longer hair now cascaded down her back. And it was curly. Curly curly.. Bleurgh.

Violet triumphantly ducked into the girls' bathroom--she had made it without anyone seeing her. Then she realized someone else was in there! But wait...she had caught the words "Felintas" as she backed into the doorway. The other girl was practising Transfiguration, too! Well, that was all right, then; even if her hair colour wasn't back to normal, at least the other girl probably wouldn't laugh at her (too hard...)

A quick detour was made to the restroom before Kourtney went down to the Great Hall for dinner. Swinging open the door, the inscription making her laugh each time she saw it, the young Gryffindor entered the room and walked to the sinks and mirrors. Peering into one of them, she scrunched up her nose. The weather outside was cooler now and a bit of a breeze had been kicking around, so her hair was all over the place.

Picking up a strand of her hair, she let it drop and then started to gather it all up. Hmm, no, she would do something else.

Removing her wand, she tapped the top of her head once "Felintas!" Nothing happened. Heh, that might be because she wasn't envisioning a hairstyle.

"Felintas!" She tried again. Her hair swept itself up into a neat and tight bun. Wow, this was going to be such a useful spell, especially when she wanted to practice her dancing. No hair flying all around and messing her up because she couldn't see.

Washing her hands, she dried them and then walked out of the room, turning left towards the staircase that would take her to the Great Hall.

MJ politely smiled at a few girls who were at the sinks or mirrors, as she walked across the room to find a free cubicle. There was a lot of girls practicing Transfiguration in here too; there were lots down by the lake, also. MJ guessed that everyone was trying to find somewhere to mess about with their appearance where no one would see the results! Most of them were the younger students, she had noticed. Perhaps she was normal after all.

MJ slid the bolt over the cubicle door.

The young Ravenclaw had mastered the style/length spell, but had the colour one to work on. That was ok though, as the colour one was easier. At least for her. She thought of a bright, bright blue; like a Fillibuster Waterproof Firework packet. "Ristaris," MJ gasped as she checked the mirror. The blue was gorgeous, but not for hair!! Especially not ringlet-y hair!! "Intaris!" She said, desperately willing her own hair back.

MJ tried a few different colours with her ordinary style hair; left it at jet black, and left the cubicle. She washed her hands (for the look of the thing, y'know; you can't come out of a toilet and not wash your hands; people will think all sorts. And people said she worried too much about what others thought?) and left the bathroom.

Caroline walked into the girls bathroom to freshen up between her classes. After she finished she looked at her self in the minnor. Now would be a good time to practice her transfigation homework. When she was younger Caroline's blonde hair used to go all the way down her back. She used to love to have it that long. taking her wand out of her bag she tapped the top of her head "Felintas!" Her hair was down past her bum.

Shaking her head slightly she decided that it was too long for her. Tapping the top of her twice this time. "Intaris!" There that was much better, although Caroline's sister star would have loved to braid hair that long. She took one last look at herself and walked out of the bathroom she didn't want to be last for her next class.

Lily flicked her long hair back. Quickly, she stepped into the bathroom to wash her muddy hands (and apply lipgloss. Some muggle habits couldn't be lost. )

Marilyn entered the bathroom, sweating profusely...She could NOT believe that just happened. Why had she AGREED with Evelyn? Lafay was going to speak with her...and Hadley was going to say whatever Hadley would say and it would come back on them.

HOLY COWFACE!

They needed to devise a plan...a back up plan QUICK.

What could they do?

Evelyn had considered going back to the common room so she could change out of her shorts, tank top, and swim suit however, one look at Marilyn had the Slytherin following the girl instead. Where in Merlin's beard was she going anyway?

Oh.

Slowly opening the door to the bathroom after spotting her friend enter just moments before, she looked around before spotting the blond snake. Hmmm.

"You alright, Marilyn?" she asked, quietly closing the door behind her.

The blonde was trying hard not to freak out...but this whole thing had just been taken to a whole new level. She knew, without a doubt, that Lafay would go to Hadley. Why not? It was strange how eager the Slytherin HoH had seemed to have any kind of word with the Hufflepuff HoH...

Hearing Evelyn's voice, she turned around. She knew she probably looked...well, like a frightened dog. "She's going to speak to that...woman...and we're going to be in so much trouble."

Crossing her arms, the Slytherin girl leaned against the door, more than likely to prevent anyone else from coming in. This was a private conversation. Yet, THAT'S what was troubling Marilyn? For a moment, she thought it had something to do with Cassie.

"Relax." she smirked. "You think we're going to get into trouble for an opinion? A perfectly reasonable opinion?" It wasn't there fault if Lafay decided she agreed and talked to Hadley. It wasn't there fault either if everything went downhill for the two Professors and there would be a new rivalry between the Slytherins and Hufflepuffs.

Totally not their fault.

Evelyn talked like it was no big deal...and it most likely wasn't...but this didn't stop Marilyn from feeling very uneasy about the whole thing.

...And she sincerely hoped that Cassie hadn't really betrayed her like had been suggested.

Sighing, she made her way to the sink. Looking in the mirror had been awful. She looked so washed out. Having several professors coming at you at once could do that, she supposed. "You know how Lafay gets...It could get bad if she thinks we've deceived her." which they kinda...sorta had...
