Front of the Train The driver and snack lady sit up front in the driver's cab, but there are plenty of other compartments up here. Prefects have their very own! |
*gulp* They were going home. Rose was going to meet Rupert. 'Kay, she was freaking. Majorly. She just wanted her best friend to come and look after her, make her feel alright again. |
Alyssa quickly dragged her trunk, bags and Shannia's cage onto the train and then went looking for Minerva and the gang. As she checked each compartment she kept a look out for Aaron, Kita and Nessie. |
For anyone! Paulie lugged his trunk through the train corridor until he found himself a vacant compartment at the front of the train. He was quite impressed with how quickly he managed to find one.. maybe this was because he actually wasn't lallygagging for a million hours. After heaving the luggage above his head, he shoved it into the space over the seats. Thereee we go. The soon-to-be sixth-year brushed his hands on his pants once or twice, then flopped back onto the seat behind him. Sigh. So long, Hogwarts. |
Quote:
Dragging his luggage behind him, Daichi looked around for somewhere to sit. He passed the compartments that were already full and finally found one. Seeing a older boy sitting , Daichi knocked the door and then opened it. "Uhm... Hi~ ..is it okay if i sit here?" he asked with his somewhat high pitched voice from being sick during the feast and pointed at the seat in front of him. |
Quote:
Wow, his voice was squeaky, and it made him wonder how old the kid was. "Yeah, 'course. Take a seat." He offered a smile and gestured to the spot across from him. "I'm Paulie. Paulie Foster." |
Salima slumped herself in the seat. Feeling the same way she had done when she was first on the train comming to Hogwarts. She couldn't beleve how fast the year had gone. All she had learnt. All the people she had met. But she needent worry she still had alot of years at Hogwarts to go... So there was more to come. |
Anyone is welcome. ^_^ Finally. The train. João lightly, easily, controlled his luggage with little touches of his wand, obviously managing a levitating charm with an apple in his other hand. He looked almost bored with the charm. Looking down on the struggling people, he snorted and rolled his eyes at some as they tried the Muggle way and failed miserably. People were stupid. They were. They were clearly born to be directed by people clever enough like him. Though, they weren't worth his precious time. Nearly jumping over some luggage, he directed his floating bag inside the first empty compartment he came across. Interestingly, the front of the train was free of little, annoying brats. They apparently thought the back of the train was cooler, thank Merlin. Hardly anyone could bother him here as he planned his summer and thought about the letter of his mother that told him he was to spend some time with her too, in Brazil. In Brazil part was fantastic, but the 'with mother' part troubled him. Whatever. He would find a way to cope with the woman. For now, he would try to stay alone in here, free of any and all people below fourth year. |
Quote:
He looked out of the window at the landscape rushing by. He was going to miss his friends during the summer. Luckily he knew no graduate this year or else he would have been a crying mess like last year. A grumbling sound startled him and he rubbed his stomach to tell it to shut it. It didn't though and Daichi sighed. "Sorry" he apologized "I haven't eaten much during the feast..." Daichi reached down and picking up the white box that he had carried under his other arm. Opening it up, the smell of chocolate filled the compartment and his eyes twinkled while looking at it. Picking a piece, the second year took a bite and let out a sigh. Then he remembered he was with someone and he stopped chewing. Mouth still full he picked up another piece and held it out for Paulie to take. " want a piece? Kurumi made it for my birthday" if he wasn't going to take it in three seconds, Daichi was going to eat it himself. |

Quote:
He looked out the window for a few moments until a few tummy rumbles echoed into his ears. Wasn't his stomach, so it must have been Daichi's. "Why didn't you stuff your face during the feast? There was loads." Plus, the big feasts always had the best foods. Thank you, house elves. He watched as the boy pulled out the white box from beneath his arm and opened it. Aaand, the smell alone gave it away. Mmmmmm. Chocolate. And, to make matters worse, Daichi was quite a pro at making the chocolate look extra scrumptious. "Oh! Thanks, mate," he said, taking the piece and tossing the thing in his mouth, whole. His mouth was still partly full when he spoke again. "Kurumi?" He chewed a bit more, then swallowed it. "She's my house prefect. Makes good chocolate, too.." Man, how did one even MAKE chocolate? |
Quote:
But just like the middle train had been this place seemed to be occupied by the younger students or...well...since he had newly graduated, technicallt everyone was younger than him in the train. Except the food trolley lady of course. He seriously did not want to be older than her. Just when the horrifying image of him being older than her hit him, the lion boy's eyes landed on someone, a certain snake, and moreover he was had AN APPLE!!! Immediately forgetting the being old image, Josh quickly sneaked behind the boy. ''BAM!'' |
Text Cut: Josh So far so good, João had eaaasily placed his luggage up in the bag places and he had avoided the brats, although there were a few of them even in the train. Well, as long as they kept silent, they were fine. As he got out of the compartment for a moment, imagining perhaps the sound of Louisa, something exploded right behind him and he jumped as far as his legs would push, dropping the apple down as he swore heavily in Portuguese. "What. Are. You. DOING?!" he said in a low, but very strained voice as he turned to face the older idiot. He knew better than to let his hand travel inside his pocket to grab his wand, but really... just let the boy give him the chance. He'd be overjoyed to hex him good before he slipped away into real life where he'd be eaten alive with that attitude. |
Quote:
''Not to worry, dude. Not to worry.'' he gave him another pat on the shoulder. ''No dragon is roaming in the corridor to eat you. That was just a joke. One with an old style.'' Smirking again, he bent down and picked up the apple. Eh...he knew how this boy liked to get to use his wand over ALMOST everything yet the lion boy did not bother to check if his hands traveled to the wand anyway. ''So...i believe this is yours'' he said theni holding the red apple up. Red apples. Those were his favourite. |
for anyone :3 Vashti dragged her trunk behind her and carried Cally's cage carefully in her free hand as she boarded the train and quickly found an empty compartment at the front of the train. She laid her trunk on one seat and set Cally's cage on top of it before plopping down on the seat beside them. So. This was it. Next time she rode this train, it would be as a seventh year. That was a weird thought. She didn't really feel like a seventh year. She didn't even feel like a sixth year at times during this past term - she still didn't really. And suddenly, she was starting to have doubts about the career she'd decided on. What if it wasn't the one for her? What if she couldn't find the right one by the time she had to take her NEWTs? What if she failed her NEWTs? What would she do? She didn't know, and she didn't like it. She didn't like the fact that her time at Hogwarts seemed to be ending so quickly. Merlin. This was kind of depressing. She wished she'd chosen a compartment with someone in it - that way she could talk and ignore the awful thoughts that kept creeping up. Meh. Maybe something exciting would happen on the train like at the End of Term Feast. Or maybe someone would barge in. Either one was an acceptable distraction. |
OOOH! Sel wants to join. XD Quote:
The tiny Slytherin, hauled her trunk behind her as she skipped around to find a compartment so she could sit and... do nothing. Or well, do something since she did have to breathe and stuff but other than that... probably n- wait. She would have to eat candy so that was something. Eh, Selena supposed she just needed to find a compartment to eat in then. Okay, easy cheesy, shouldn't take long. Spotting someone alone with a pretty owl Selena's eyes widened slightly. "Heeeeeey!" Selena chirped. Did owls eat pygmy puffs? Selena was pretty sure they didn't. "Can I join?" she asked. Because... sitting alone and getting hyper alone? Yeah, that wasn't much fun anyways. So maybe the girl who looked a bit mopey would wanna get hyper off of candy and chocolate and sweets too. |
For HarryPotterQuidditch! :) Ronnie made her way to the front of the train, and found an empty compartment. She sat down and smiled out at the scenery. It was beautiful out, she was ready for summer. She was excited to hang out with her friends and for of course Rupert's wedding! |
yaaaay :D Quote:
"Sure, come on in," she said with a smile and a nod. It was then that she noticed a small ball of fluff with the girl. Was that... "Is that a pygmy puff?" she asked. If it was... AWWWW. Such cuteness! Vashti wanted one of them. She had almost gotten one for the Hate Potion towards the beginning of term but had decided against it. She sort of regretted it now too at times, but then again, she wasn't sure how her owl would react to having to share attention with a pygmy puff, so it was probably for the best. |
Quote:
"That's Kent," Selena said, nodding her head as the girl asked if the pygmy puff was a pygmy puff. "He's the king of all pygmy puffs," she added. Just so the girl knew and didn't get the violet colored pygmy puff mixed up with any other pygmy puff. There could only be one king of all pygmy puffs after all. "What's the owl's name?" Selena asked, tilting her head to look at it as she reached into her bag and pulled out a sugar quill. Merlin's beard, why had she purchased so many? She couldn't remember! |
This was really the end. If Mina wasn't enough of a complete mess of emotions at the closing feast, walking to what she considered her compartment was going to send her over the edge. This was the very last time she would be entering the compartment and the last time she was going to be on the Hogwarts Express. |
Talk about tired. She was. Beezus really was tired. She became exhausted with the farewells and goodbyes that took place on the Great Hall last night. Not to mention that she was still feeling sick. And that was the reason why she hadn't been with her friends on the train. Instead, she chose a compartment at the Front of the Train where she could take a nap and sleep peacefully. That would be heaven for her right now. Yet her slumber was disturbed by the other students bickering outside the compartment, arguing on what to get from the Food Trolley. "And it's making me hungry." She mumbled upon herself, hearing the voice of the Trolley lady coming closer. |
Quote:
The trolley stopped from her shouts ad she bought chocolate frogs. She'll be missing these kind of weird foods. Hehe. "Thanks," said Erin. She then walked up towards the back of the train. She passed in an empty compartment and was surprised to see her very best friend, Beezus! ZOMG! It felt like, she hadn't talk to her in ages. She pushed open the door and shouted at the top of her lungs, "Beezus!!!" she hugged her so tight. |
For.....Devina Wellheart! Ronnie sat down in her compartment, twirling her orange hair around her finger (she tended to do this when she was bored) and looking out as the scenery zoomed by as the train rolled along. Gah, she was so BORED! |
Quote:
After a few moments, she pulled her friend away. "Where in Merlin's underpants have you been, huh?" Because she badly missed this girl and it seemed like it has been decades since they last talked. "Haven't even seen you at the Herbology Final." Or maybe she did, but didn't noticed because of being too nervous. |
Quote:
" hey, ronnie. I just wanted to say thank you....Ya know for the the gift. I-I was thinking alot about you lately. Perhaps more than I should...." Justin trailed off as he rung his hands. |
Quote:
O.o CORNELIA? Who was that person? She moved her free hand to Beezus' forehead and felt if she was sick? "You're actually fine," she smiled at her friend. So, they're on second name basis now? "Evangeline? Is that you?" "I was there. Uhm... I saw you. But enough of that. We're going home now. How's you? With your Aunt?" |
Quote:
She stared as Erin felt her forehead. She was not that sick anymore, just only a bit. "Yep, I am." Hmm.. Second name basis? Not so bad right? And they would be the only ones calling each other that. "I guess so. Evangeline and Cornelia ain't that bad." They were going home now, that was true. That means they won't see each other over the summer. "Oh, I know." Beezus sat back down. "And do sit Cornelia." She muttered as she gestured her friend to sit beside her. "I actually miss my Aunt, my Grandma and even Dylan." And also her mother. "She promised she'll buy me a new broom." Her Aunt Belinda said that, alright. On her last letter. And she could not wait for that to happen. Especially because she'll be allowed to play full time next term. |
Quote:
"I was staying at the back of the train with Raven, you know the Slytherin girl," she said. "That's the very compartment I stayed at the start of the term too. Conincidence, really." Weird. Cornelia and Evangeline. "Are you decided about that?" asked Erin with non-agreement face."New broom!" She almost forgot, her bestfriend was part of the Quidditch team. "I would love to have one too. Can I come with you during summer?" |
Quote:
Raven? "Oh. Her. I met her in Hogsmeade." Yeah, that girl who said that Slytherin house was the best of all four Houses, and in which Beatrice highly disagrees, even if they won the Quidditch Cup, Gobstones and even the House Cup. "Must be fate Cornelia," she mumbled as she took out her wand. "Yes. I'll call you Cornelia. Isn't that just unique?" Erin sure don't want to be called that, Beezus thought. But it would be really fun. "You could your Mum to get you one you know, and maybe we can buy it together at Diagon--" But she was caught off her guard by what her best friend said next. Come over? Her? to our house? The second-year-to-be asked in her mind. "Erin..I mean, Cornelia..that would.. be.." She's beaming now. "wonderful.." |
Quote:
With that inquiring eyes from Beezus, Erin answered, "Really? Not even that guy witn an 'M'?" she teased even more. The best part of being Beezus friend was that Erin could always say all the things that comes to her mind, teased her, mocked her and she wouldn't even get angry at her. What a wonderful friend! "Good that you've met her," she said then continued in a low voice. "The fast is, he's a little proud sometimes and stands on her principles too much." Erin did not know why she said that but she felt the need for it after seeing Beezus response upon hearing her name. That name again? Mum? That shifted Erin's mood. Why would her very best friend tell her about Mums, her Mum? "My Mum's dead," she said bowing a little. If only she could have her Mum buy her that broom. |
Quote:
"So..you've noticed." She commented. That Raven girl was nice to acquaint with but not really the type that she would want to get too close with. Uh-oh. How could she forget that? That fact! Simply preposterous.. "Err--" Beatrice quickly thought of a way to shift her best friend's attention. "Anyway.." She started, leaning closer to Erin. "Let's plan this you-going-over-at-my-place-for-summer, eh?" That should do it, right? Talking about that probably change the saddening atmosphere. She did not really want to get all emotional right now. Besides, if she Erin really was going there then they needed to talk it out. |
Quote:
"Let's not talk about her if that's the case," said Erin really wanting to stay with Beezus as long as the train come to a stop at the King's Cross. However, she didn't want Raven alone at their compartment. Ahhh. For now, she needed a bestfriend time. Eeeeep! The summer thing! Yeah, they needed to sort everything out about that little adventure they were planning. "I'll call you when I'm going. You have a telephone right? Or we could just do email. I bet you're got signal at your place," she smiled. |
Quote:
Hmmm? "Alright. We don't want some trouble here." As much as she wanted some excitement as they were leaving Hogwarts, having problems with another student was clearly not on her list. Hehe. "Of course. My cellphone would work there." Not like in Hogwarts where things that uses electricity dies. "I have Twitter. Do you?" She asked. The website sure would be helpful if they wanted to have a steady communication. "By the way, Cornelia..where in the planet do you live?" Beatrice can't believe she was asking her best friend that question. But come to think of it, she really did not know. |
Quote:
"England I guess," said Erin laughing. "Somerset." Shoot! Yeeessh! "We're visiting Korea this summer! I'll call you when I come back, since I already have your number and let's Skype huh?" She didn't want missing her bestfriend. Eeeeee! How nice to have someone to call bestfriend now. |

Selina excused herself from the middle of the train to wander around the corridor's for a little while before they got to King's Cross. She wanted to get home and all, but her heart was back at that castle with all of her friends who she would see over the summer, yet it wouldn't be the same. There was something magical all on its own about just seeing your friends everyday and Selina was not going to have that, with the exception of Chris and Elyon, over the summer. So her thoughts needed clearing and if she ran into anyone she knew perhaps she would stop by and chat. Subconsciously, she wanted to see one specific person. Her best friend, a certain Gryffidor prefect and most house point earner four times in a row. But she did not know she was even looking for her, so she sat down in an empty compartment and took out a copy of Quidditch Weekly. She flipped over the cover and saw a huge picture of Carter Phillips in his new blue uniform grinning like a wild man. There was a story on Hogwarts players who left school and went straight into Professional Quidditch. Good for Carter. |
Exiting the prefect's compartment, Kurumi half heartily made her rounds around the train. With so many seventh years leaving, many the first people she had ever met in the wizarding world, it just didn't seem like a time to be bouncing and eager for the summer. Sure, they were all going to go off and do amazing things with their lives and she would be seeing almost all of them over the summer in Diagon Alley...and she would be visiting France to bake a cake for Salander and Lexi...but it just wouldn't be the same. Dragging her feet, Kurumi looked up just in time to see a flash of red hair. "Hey, Selina," she smiled weakly. |
Selina looked up from her article when she heard a voice say her name from the door of the compartment. She smiled at Kurumi who looked a little sad and she put her magazine to the side. Her body scooted over on the seat in the compartment to make room for Kurumi to sit beside her. Once there was room she patted the bench and said nicely, "Hey kiddo, how you doing?" It was no secret that Kurumi was taking this change quite harshly. Most of the people she looked up to and admired were in this graduating class and it was hard for Selina to see them go... she could not imagine what it was like for Kurumi. |
Kurumi unfolded her arms from around herself and walked in, taking a seat beside her best friend and sighing just a bit. "Doing alright, I suppose. I am not sure I am really read for the summer though." It was going to be another busy one, which meant less time at home with just her mother's judgmental gaze, so that was good, but she was having a hard time coming to terms with her being a fifth year now. The jump from third to fourth hadn't seemed so big. But fourth to fifth, that seemed like it was a whole different world. She would be considered an upper classman now... It was all too weird. "H-How are you?" she asked in return as she caught a glimpse of the Quidditch magazine Selina was attempting to hide. "Is that the one with the article about Carter in it? I've already got myself a copy of that one." |
Quote:
She looked down at the magazine when Kurumi drew attention to it. She picked it up and smiled, "Yeah I'm okay and its funny to see him here. It's already like they're gone.." |
Kurumi giggled and tossed her long black hair over her shoulder. "Funny, Josh said the same thing to me back in the common room." Speaking of Josh, she still had something to give to him. They had been interrupted at the closing feast by "Yeah...I'll miss playing Quidditch with Carter...even if he did almost get me killed several times on the pitch," she said with a spritely tone. There was no hint of anger or regret, only one of pure joy. It had been an honor following her captain's orders. |
"Josh said what in the Common Room?" Selina questioned. Had she basically repeated a Josh Carter comment? That would be odd if she did. It was even odder to think of a school without Josh Carter in it. What would they do next term without all of the upperclassmen who had graduated? Merlin, Hogwarts was going to be so different. She chuckled at the memories she had on the pitch this term. Then it made her a little sad because Kurumi was not going to be playing next term. It was weird that so much was changing so quickly. Everyone had told her once that things changed as you got older. There was not much she could do about it. It made her sort of sad to think about growing up, but she could not stop it, "Yeah, I'm gonna miss him next term." |
Kurumi laughed again, remember what Josh had said. "Pretty much told me to stop looking like everyone had died because it wasn't farewell forever, just see you again." She fumbled with her pockets for a moment until she found the chocolate wrapper that never left its home there. It hadn't for the past four terms, and it was only doing so now to be returned to who it had originally come from. Slowly, she removed it from her pocket and held it there for a few seconds. "I...I'm not going to have any more big brothers," she said with a bit of a shocked expression on her face. THAT....was really weird. |

Anyone? Adrianna walked through the train, purposely avoiding the last compartment, the compartment she and Justin always sat in...she just couldn't do that. And then comment that there wasn't a dragon chasing them. A real piece of clever joke. Looking at the apple, he shook his head slightly. "It's fallen down," because of your funny joke. "I don't want it." Now, he actually wondered if the boy would eat it. Surely not, would he? |

Vashti didn't pay much attention to Cally though as the girl confirmed that it was in fact a pygmy puff whose name was Kent...and who was the king of pygymy puffs? She chuckled. "I didn't know there even was a king pygmy puff," she said with a small smile. Perhaps there was a queen too? "Her full name's Calandra," she answered, looking over at her owl and now noticing the look she was giving the other girl's pygmy puff, "but she usually goes by Cally." She stuck her finger through the bars of the cage and gently poked the eagle owl in the side. Cally let out an indignant hoot and turned her head away from Kent to Quote:

Oh. This was the last time Stephen would be riding the train. Or at least this train. Though it did hold good memories. Like that one time Kat and him scared the younger years with masks up and down the corridors. Or when Kat set a slime prank in one of the last compartments of the train. He was sure they'd have more good times when they leave and go search for his parents. That is if she comes along. Riding on his trunk down the corridor, Stephen used his arms to move and dodge around the people who jut couldn't get out of the way. Seeing an empty one, he quickly rowed his way to it, before anyone else could snatch it. Well then it was a good thing he dodged into it first and left his trunk outside. Pulling and placing his trunk in the compartment, he laid down on the seats; taking up an entire side of the seats. "Finally, some time to relax," he mumbled to himself, turning his face away from the door. |
Quote:
Preferably and empty one, or with people she knew. Looking left, she spied a black-haired boy sprawled across one length of seats and smiled slightly to herself, leaning on the frame of the ajar door. "Mind if I come in?" she asked - best to be polite. It was weird to think that it was Stephens last time on the train, that he wouldn't be riding it next year, that he wouldn't be a familiar face in the Common Room, or someone to Ice Skate with. Not that he was much good anyway, but still. It was odd. |
Quote:
"Are you looking forward to going home?" he asked, leaning his body weight onto his should and yawning a bit. |
Quote:
She blushed a little at the thought, before attempting to pass it off as effort dragging her trunk through the door and into the luggage rack. Aimée shrugged. "Partly. I guess I 'ave missed my dad, but it just means next year's coming all to quickly." And she wasn't ready for that - this time next year it'd be her last journey on the Hogwarts Express... and that was a weird thing to think. "Are you?" |
Quote:
"Kind of. I'm going to look for my parents this summer so I won't be home much. Technically, I'm not going home. I'll being a nomad with Lexi and Kat all summer until who knows when," he admitted. He was eager but then he wasn't sure how his parents would react to him picking up his things and just leaving. |
Quote:
His parents, huh? She remembered him telling her about being adopted, and nodded slowly as he spoke. "I hope you have fun, then," she said with a slight laugh, the idea of those three travelling 'round together sounded like it was a plan made of mischief. "Good luck and... well, uh- be careful." He voice took a note of seriousness, and her cheeks flushed pink again as she spoke. Was Aimée worried that the older boy would get hurt or something? Kinda. |

Minnie ran as fast as she could away from them. She found the first compartment that was empty and flew inside. She sat in the corner and put herself in a ball crying into her legs.
