Daichi was glad that someone replied to his question. He really needed to sit down and he gave a soft smile as he entered the compartment. Sitting down next to the boy who introduced himself as Mathias , Daichi nodded his head at him but groaned again as the movement shot pain in his head. "I'm Daichi..." he mumbled and tried to give a smile but failed. He sighed deeply as he placed his luggage under the couch.
Seeing as the boy was already talking to another student, Daichi closed his eyes for a mere second when he heard another voice.
Daichi opened his eyes and saw a girl sitting in front of him. He nodded his head as he said that he looked tired. "I am" he sighed and rubbed his eyes. Well he himself wasn't tired but the increasing headache was making him tired. He couldn't wait to be lying in his good old bed at his dormitory. But he was still in the train and the ride was going to be looong. "I'm Daichi, second year Slytherin.. you?" he asked the girl. Normally he would have been polite, smiled and even bowed but he didn't feel like it now.
As she mentioned his owl, Daichi's eyes started to twinkle all of the sudden. "He's cute right?! His name is MinSu~" Well.. cute was an understatement because the owl he had bought was UGLY but Daichi thought it was super cute and hearing this from another student got his spirits lifted up a bit. He wished his headache would have been cured too but of course it didn't and he groaned again as he bend over to lay his head in between his legs. Maybe he was train sick ? But he hadn't been train sick last year. This was confusing him.
"I'm Alexia, a First year Slytherin." she said proudly, "I'm really glad to meet a fellow Slyth-" before she finished Alexia's cat, Savannah, leaped on top of her lap and started purring. "oh Sav, are you hungry?" she said. "um Daichi, this is my familiar, Savanah. I'm just going to get her something to eat, be right back" she hurried outside and bought some food.
Anna opened the door of a compartment and sat herself down, excited to be back at Hogwarts in a few short hours! She dropped her bag down on the seat next to her and got the book, which took specially for reading on the train. As she looked outside the window, she saw students buzzing around. Hogwarts, the term was going to start again soon and Anna was happy for it!
"Hi! oh sure you could come in and sit down, you look really tired" Alexia said gently, making space for the guy. "Whats your name? You have a very cute owl by the way "

Mathias' head turned swiftly from Aviva Rose when he heard another female's voice. Was there someone else in the compartment? He peered intently and, yes, sitting across from him near the edge of the bench and partially hidden by a shadow was another girl about his age. The 11 year old felt slightly rude for not noticing her there before but attributed it to the fact that she had been sitting quietly in a shadowy part of the compartment coupled with the chattiness of Aviva Rose and his uncharacteristic talkativeness in response. He figured she must have heard his name since he had said it twice already so he felt no need for further introduction.
Matty vaguely listened to the two discuss the newcomer's owl as he glanced at his own owl, noticing he had fallen asleep. He figured the train ride must be pretty boring for an owl with nothing to do but sit in a cage and couldn't blame the poor thing for nodding off. Shaking himself from his reverie, Mathias glanced over at the two again as Daichi mentioned a strange word that seemed vaguely familiar - Slytherin. He repeated the word in his mind a few times... Oh right! That was one of the houses at Hogwarts that his mum told him about. So this boy must be in Slytherin... "Are... are you okay?" he asked Daichi suddenly, somewhat surprised at the boy's state. He did not look so good. Mathias had first thought that maybe he was tired upon first sight, but now he wasn't so sure.
He looked up slowly as the previously-unnoticed girl introduced herself. Alexia was her name. Matty was unsure of what to say as he still felt slightly rude for not noticing her. Would it be even more rude to point that out? Yes, he thought so. Oh, and she was a Slytherin too... but wait. A first-year Slytherin? "Wait, I thought..." he started in confusion, but she left before he could finish. Mathias looked down at his shoes as he bit his lower lip in thought. He wasn't sure if he should say anything in front of his companions and risk looking really dumb... but he had no idea what house he was in! Was he the only one?
Well, did she pick a good compartment or did she pick a good compartment.
With a wide grin, Charner slipped into the space and closed the door behind her. Stupid noise. Stupid loud people. Ahhh. Nice and quiet in here. Providing the crazyness outside didn't end up bursting through the door.
But there were more important things to consider right now, like the awesometastically colored things. Being awesome. Meeting another awesome. And just, a compartment full of awesome-winness. And the lolli-pop of course.
"Of course your awesome." She replied with a grin. "First of all, there's your name." Dropping her bag on the seat beside where she plopped herself, she accepted the offer of the lolli-pop with a nod of her head. "That is simply epically awesome-sauce. Selena Zabini-Riddle. Catchy. Cool. Unique. And graceful. Then there's your pillow and lolli-pop, which thank you for by the way." Those things went without saying, so she spent no time on them. "Then there is your archive of words. Awesometastically is just...awesometastic."
Thrusting her hand forward, she offered it in greeting; something her brother had taught her in the realm of manners. "I'm Charner Hope Rainbow, and I believe I just entered the best compartment on this train." They should start a club or something.
Selena beamed at the girl. See, this person knew what awesome was when it was right in their face, that was just... amazing. Yeah, unlike weirdos who didn't understand pure amazing, awesometasticalness when it smacked them across the face.
She set Kent back on her head and hoped he decided to stay there and not wander... in other words, she hoped that the pygmy puff wouldn't fall off her head again.
"Thanks, I'm not sure about the graceful part though," Selena said sheepishly. She had fallen countless times so she wasn't really graceful at all. "Does it sound like the name of someone who's going to rule the universe though?" Sel asked, seriously. Because that was going to be her job in the future with her bestie. Sel had basically decided that already and she was not going to throw her plan into the trash can. She liked her plan. As long as evil Dragon Lady was willing to help, the plan was foolproof. "Archive makes it sound old," Selena sighed before realizing she said it out loud. Whatever, it was always good to voice your opinions, right? "And awesometastic is fantabulously great," Sel said with a giggle, mostly because it sounded weird... but they were making up words so it shouldn't matter.
She glanced at the hand, and was tempted to put Kent in it. Realizing she was supposed to be polite, she smiled and shook it, with Kent still on her head. "You have a pretty name and yes, this is the best compartment ever, it's full of awesomeness, as a matter of fact, it's so awesome that this compartment can't even hold it all," Selena said with a smirk. Oh yeeeaaah, be jealous people.

The girl has no idea how she'll survive a whole year without going to Alaska, her home state, she doesn't even know she'll survive a month without sending her parents a letter. She assumed that the owls at Hogwarts are cannot fly above the Atlantic Ocean, and survive the endless winter in Alaska as well, unless they're 'super-owls'. Oh well, this is going to be her live for the next five years. Time be independent, and not to waste skittles. TOUGH MISSION.

If there was one thing she hated about the train ride to Hogwards it was that she ahd to carry her luggage with her. In her right hand she was carrying her trunk and in the other she was carrying her guitar that was in its case. She had left her owl Aya with her sister, as she couldn't hold anything else, but Puffles was on her shoulder where he was most of the time.
She found a compartment with somone she recognised inside. It was Joanna. She walked in smiling. "Hey Jo Jo, mind if I sit?" she asked. Jo was reading a book, but it didn't look like she was conentrating much. She was probably just nervous, like Ness was on her first time going to Hogwarts.

Out of her compartment, with Elijah in her pocket, Nora walked along the corridor to look for the food trolley. She had plenty of sweets, but she was curious to see what she could buy over there. Hehe.
On her way to the trolley, she also happened to take a glimpse of a slightly familiar figure that was alone in a compartment. It was Muggle-Version-Of-Berty-Bott's-Not-Exactly-Every-Flavour-Beans-Girl! With the usual, cheerful smile on her face, she slid the door open. "Hi."
The tiny lizard was probably saying hi as well, since Elijah poked his head out of her pocket.

Alyssa noticed that Rose was definitely feeling alright. She had already made friends with a first year student in one of the compartments. Not wanting to interrupt, she decided to move on down the train until she found someone she'd recognize.

Alyssa almost walked pass a compartment when she recognized Nessie. She liked Nessie but she didn't want to be a nuisance either, so she hesitantly poked her head into the compartment, "Hi, I'm sorry to interrupt. I know that this compartment is already occupied, but do you happen to have room for one more?"
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

Daichi nodded his head in acknowledgement but groaned yet again when the movement send a pain to his forehead like someone was slamming a hammer against it. He was about to say something when a cat had jumped up on the girl's lap and started to pur. His frown changed to a small smile when he saw the cat and he leaned forward to pet it. He had his hand outstretched when Alexia announced that she was leaving for a bit to get some food. Feeling embarrassed by his move, Daichi took his hand back and watched as the girl left.

He sighed deeply as he leaned back against the couch and rubbed his eyes with his fingers. He wanted his bed, like, now. But after the trainride they first had a start of term feast. Something he would love when he wasn't in this state... maybe he could ask a Professor to go straight to his dormitory? Mweh he figured the answer would be a no.
As he massaged his temples, Daichi's annoyance started to increase due to his headache. And when the boy , Mathias, next to him asked if he was okay he laughed humorlessly. "I'M FINE!" He snapped as he glared at the boy.
Daichi instantly knew what he had done and started to feel bad. It wasn't in his nature to be rude but the headache was killing him. He groaned again as he saw the boy biting his lip. He didn't know wether it was from him snapping at him or something else. But in any case, Daichi felt bad. "Look, i'm sorry" he said as he eyed his hands that he had now placed on his lap. "This headache is killing me and ugh!" he rubbed his hands through his hair, making it a messy black..mess...
Turning back to Mathias, Daichi tried a friendly smile , showing that he wasn't mad at him or anything but when that failed , he decided that a different subject would be better. "What year are you in?" he asked curiously. "I haven't seen you before" Daichi was sure he hadn't seen this kid before at school. He looked like his age which meant that he had classes with him but he couldn't recall it.

While staring reading her book, someone said JoJo. Eeep, people really do remember her nicknames here. JoJo closed her book immediately, and looked at the girl which she met at the candy shop, with her adorable Pygmy Puff. CUTE. "Hey. Oh, of course you can sit here," she said smiling friendly towards her friend, moving closer to the window making space for Ness.
"Excited?" she asked glimpsing outside the window, not wanting to show the world how excited but also frightened she feels about going to Hogwarts. It's so different from her last school in New York.

Joanna couldn't stop looking at the lizard, it's a very unusual creature. Actually most of the animals here are unusual for her, she's used to bears and foxes, but here there's such a large variety of animals, it's so awesome. "This is the first time I ever seen a lizard in my life," she added remembering her manners and stopped looking at the lizard.
"Oh... er... I'm good, a bit excited actually," she said leaning her head on the window. She wondered if Nora wants to sit down or did she already find a compartment. Meh... She doesn't really care, because she's anyway planning to sleep during the ride.
"Oh, and I almost forgot," she said taking out of her pocket a small packet of skittles and threw, not warning Nora, gently the packet towards her. Hopefully, she'll catch it and wouldn't let it hit her head. "I bought you a present." Joanna loved it when people bought her skittles, so she did the same to Nora, she first witch from Hogwarts which actually like skittles.

Marie had finally managed to calm Mia down and actually get a smile out of her. She really did feel bad for her friend having to go pretty much the whole school year without seeing her boyfriend, but she knew there was nothing she could do about it other than be there to listen to her complain about it every now and then. Which she would do.
For now though she was with Matty looking for an empty compartment they could share. Holding his hand she walked along the corridor until she found an empty compartment. "This one looks good to me." Opening the door she stepped inside and plopped down and stretched her legs to the seat across from her.
*Walking with Marie and carrying their bags Matty sighed thankful they finally found a place. Walking in with her Matty put the bags and stuff up then sat next to Marie. Putting an arm around her he placed his feet next to hers and tapped her feet with his shoe.*
"Ready for another year?"

His fear had significantly subsided, but he still felt rather anxious boarding it, and every time it shook or hissed, Eino flinched slightly until he finally got used to it an hour or so later. "Come, Ino." He said as he waited for the cat wobbled through the corridor and into the compartment. After he shut the door, he took a seat next to the window and tossed his backpack next to him. Ino made her way up onto the cushioned seats then curled up beside the backpack in attempt to rest, but she was much more bothered by the hissing of the train than Eino was.
After making himself comfortable, Eino reached into his backpack and pulled out a copy of Familiars and Animatism. He ran his index finger through the top edge, then inserted it where the bookmark was and flung it open to Chapter Nine, Training & Behavior. He glanced over at Ino, then returned his attention to the book and began reading.

He had to squeeze through some Slytherins standing in the corridor making sparks with their wands, but here he was stalking Eino like a pro. After having to pass some more rude people who were laughing at a tiny Hufflepuff firstie, he finally reached Eino's compartment which was thankfully not that far from the front with the busy corridor. More people passing. Hugo quickly slided open the door and stepped inside the compartment. "Hey Eino, long time no s-" WHAT WAS THAT THING THERE. "AWH YOU GOT A CAT?" he exclaimed, dropped his bag on the seats and immediatly studied the furry little thing. He wanted to get a cat. For 2 years now. But every summer, he forgot. It sucked! And now Eino had a cat. And Hugo felt kind of jealous. But also... D'awwww. Cats were adorable.

"Oh... er... I'm good, a bit excited actually," she said leaning her head on the window. She wondered if Nora wants to sit down or did she already find a compartment. Meh... She doesn't really care, because she's anyway planning to sleep during the ride.
"Oh, and I almost forgot," she said taking out of her pocket a small packet of skittles and threw, not warning Nora, gently the packet towards her. Hopefully, she'll catch it and wouldn't let it hit her head. "I bought you a present." Joanna loved it when people bought her skittles, so she did the same to Nora, she first witch from Hogwarts which actually like skittles.
Nora giggled, and felt a bit better, since Joanna was the first one that was not freaking out or anything at the idea of a lizard being around. "Really?" She had no idea why she sounded so surprised, because the first time she'd ever seen a lizard was at that shop. "And I actually wanted a cat..." she mumbled, feeling as her cheeks were slightly turning into a bright shade of red.
But then... "EEEEK!"
SOMEONE WAS ATTACKING HER!

Oh. No one was attacking her, and she probably looked stupid, holding one hand as a shield for her face. But how was she supposed to know that Joanna will throw something at her?! She didn't even hear the 'I bought you a present part', but she looked at her feet to see whatever it was that she threw at her. "For me?" She asked, picking up what looked like those muggle Berty Bott's.
Ahh and poor Elijah. He was probably thinking that he had an insane mistress.
After having boarded the train, Hugo quickly spotted Eino so he decided to follow him around like a ninja spy type person. He had to squeeze through some Slytherins standing in the corridor making sparks with their wands, but here he was stalking Eino like a pro. After having to pass some more rude people who were laughing at a tiny Hufflepuff firstie, he finally reached Eino's compartment which was thankfully not that far from the front with the busy corridor. More people passing. Hugo quickly slided open the door and stepped inside the compartment. "Hey Eino, long time no s-" WHAT WAS THAT THING THERE. "AWH YOU GOT A CAT?" he exclaimed, dropped his bag on the seats and immediatly studied the furry little thing. He wanted to get a cat. For 2 years now. But every summer, he forgot. It sucked! And now Eino had a cat. And Hugo felt kind of jealous. But also... D'awwww. Cats were adorable.
Eino was only a sentence into his book when the compartment door slid back open and, to his surprise, he saw his good friend Hugo standing. Eino stood up to give him a hug or a handshake or something, but in the two seconds that took Eino to do so, Hugo was no longer interested him but his cat. In response, the cat shot into the air and after landing on her four legs hissed threateningly (translation: "Y U NO TALK WITH INSIDE VOICE?!) at the loud boy. She wasn't particularly a mean cat, but she had been startled and the boy looked like he wanted to touch her. She quickly crawled into Eino's backpack and stood inside quietly with only her nose and whiskers peeking out. For a certain angle her gleaming and watchful eyes could also be seen, but she did not plan on leaving the safety of the backpack until all the noise stopped. "Hello, Hugo!" Eino said as he returned to his seat. "It has been a long time... Three months?" Usually he spent some time in England, so he had the chance to visit his friends, but not this time, so he was particularly excited to see everyone again. "How was your summer?"

Hugo backed away with a priceless scared look on his face and his arms ready to protect his body. After realizing he was standing there like a lunatic, he used the cowardly backing away as an excuse to plop down on a seat next to his backpack. He was not going to touch that kitty... It looked like it was going to murder him. Breeeeathe in. It was only a bloody cat. "Um, sorry for that..." he said and eyed the devilish part of the cat's head that was peeking over the edge of Eino's back pack. "Three months?" Hugo repeated and rolled his eyes up and mouthed the numbers he was counting back. "Blimey, that's a long time," he said after he was done with his calculations. "My summer? It was... Okay. I went to France, but I didn't really do anything exciting," he told Eino. He mainly... Slept. A lot. "It was a bit boring, really. I'm glad to go back to school," he gestured his head towards the window, but they were still in the outer part of London, so school was still a long way ahead.
"And how was yours?" he asked after looking back at Eino. He didn't really know a lot about Eino's plans for the summer. Well at least he knew he didn't get attacked by a bear this time. Silly Eino.

Was this girl speaking English? Lulu Patterson watched her as she spoke, careful to take notice of signs of madness or an impending and irrational fit of rage. Maybe she had something against her accent. Lu shrugged a shoulder, finding that she didn't really care if the girl did or didn't. She also didn't care to answer her question.
The other girl spoke and sounded ten times more likeable not that Lu was one to speak.
"Taryn," she repeated holding up Robin to her so the ferret would remember in case Lulu forgot or needed his help identifying the girl in the future. "Tori," continued Patterson this time swinging her arm to hold up the ferret towards the other girl. "Nice to meet you. I'm Lulu Patterson. I forgot I'm not supposed to let Robin run amok anymore so, follow me."
Lulu propped Robin on a shoulder. The ferret quickly clambered over her head to peer ahead. Lulu rolled her eyes at him and moved down the corridor towards the middle of the train.
It wasn't that Thea didn't like kneazles, but she was pretty sure that Eddie's one was eyeing her up like it wanted to cuddle up to her and get her outfit covered in kneazle fur.

So Thea walked on Edvard's other side, a small carry on bag with her, as she didnt have a trunk. Why would she? Her things were already safely ensconced in her rooms at Hogwarts.
"Of course it is." She assured him. She hadn't forgotten, even if it was years since she'd been a student herself. She'd caught this very train fourteen times in her life. It wasn't something you forgot.
She gave him a brief but gracious smile when he held the door. "Looks perfect to me, closer to the front so you can peek out the window and see it all coming." She walked in and settled herself on one of the seats, the window seat of the one facing backwards, leaving the other window for Edvard, so he could see better.
Long legs crossed, hair fluffed, Althea extracted the latest copy of Achievements in Charming from her bag, but she didn't flip it open.
In the carrier bag Tarzan was making purring noisies as he eyed Althea. Eddie was not going to let the little kitten out not really certain if his colleague was a creature lover or not. Best not to take any risks. Sitting down on the seat opposite Althea he put down his back pack next to Tarzan's carrier. Looking out the window he asked "Has Hogwarts student's always travelled from Kings cross by train to Hogwarts?" Now that you could use port keys, apparition and so on it seemed slightly old fashioned, but a nice tradition none the less.
Straigtening his robes out Eddie listened to Tarzan's mewoing for a bit. "So houses? Why so many as four?"He asked curiously. Going to a school where they all lived in dorms after years and ages it was a little confusing why Hogwarts felt the need to sort student's into houses. But maybe there were a logical reason.
Damon couldn't believe it but Isabelle had suddenly fallen asleep and he was pretty sure that he would just have to focus on writing in his astronomy journal since he was simply an outer space fan. The stars and the sun really intrigued him and that made all the difference. He had brought along his own snacks all wizarding world related of course, now he just had to wait for Isabelle to wake up so he could share the stuff with her. THe corridor was getting quite noisy but that was expected because of all the new and returning students.
Oh my goodness, I might've missed the train! Trinity thought as she scrambled to find a seat on board. She found an empty pair of seats in the main compartment, gave a sigh of relief, and sank into her newfound chair. "Here Fawn, here Benjamin!" she called as she opened the animal carrier and peered inside. Her two little bunnies were snuggling together as she gently let them out on the floor in front of her. "Now you two behave and don't go anywhere. She tucked the open carrier under her seat so her bunnies could go inside when they pleased. Trinity glanced around the room and then peered out the window, worried that she hasn't made any friends yet.
Hope you two don't mind , Daichi is just curious ^_^

Daichi rubbed his temple as he saw in the corner of his eyes that a man and a woman walk past the compartment he was in. He frowned and wondered if his eyes had betrayed him but as he shifted a bit to the side he saw indeed two adults.
What the? Daichi had never seen any adult in the train before, not counting the food lady and the driver of course. What were they doing here? They weren't muggles right?! O__o
Curiousity increasing, Daichi stood up from his seat and excused himself. He figured that his stuff would be safe besides , he knew who the others were so if anyone tried to steal something.... and he walked out of the compartment. Walking through the train corridor, Daichi looked inside of the compartments to find the adults. And as he passed the right compartment he stopped and took a step back. 'Ok , Daichi..just asking isn't weird.' he told himself before knocking on the slide doors.
He figured that knocking would be polite. He opened the doors and tried to smile but his smile turned in to a grimace from the headache. "Uhm..Hello" He said a bit shyly as he looked at the two. "Aren't you two too old to be on this train?" He immediatelly gasped and held a hand against his mouth. "Sorry!" he mumbled through his hand and his cheeks flared up. "It's just" he lowered his hand now. "I've never seen an adult in this train..."

Adam figured he would just take the first open compartment that he could find, and by his luck it just so happened to be in the front of the train. Filing inside with JB Adam threw his back pack in the luggage rack above him before sitting down. JB hopped up next to him, curling his little body into a ball before closing his eyes to sleep.
At least one of them could...maybe Adam would see someone he knew.
