While normally she found it a difficult time to catch Poof when the cat needed a bath, Evelyn had an even worst time catching the half-kneazle when she was being playful. Finally though, with her hair up in a ponytail and bag over her shoulder with Poof laying comfortably in it (her little head peaking out so she could see everything), Evelyn made her way down to the creatures class, wondering why they needed to bring their pets. At least the Professor asked them to bring them, and she didn't have to be surprised to find Poof rubbing on her legs like in a certain CRAZY PROFESSOR'S class last term. Thank Merlin Shaw wasn't here this year. "Good day, Professor..." Newperson. Was it just her opinion, or was the only old person in this school Vinny? Shaking her head at the thought since she didn't want her brain filled up with trying to figure out the flying instructor's age, Evelyn sat in a rather pale green been bag chair next to Destiny, not at all aware that perhaps her friend had brought Marcus. If she did, she would NOT be afraid to set Poof on the creature if Destiny shoved the rat in her face. Poof on the other hand was making little 'clicky' noises as she stared at all of Destiny's pets. |

Thinking of a lot of silly things, she was surprised to hear her name all of a sudden. She looked around and smiled as she recognized Desiree, whom she had met on Diagon Alley some time ago. "Hi," she said, but her eyes ran towards the blue bean bag chair she was sitting on. "... traitor." She couldn't stop herself from giggling silently, and she also hoped that the girl would take that as a joke. Yup. She was definitely feeling Slytherin..ish. |
Gideon wandered down to the grounds after breakfast ready for COMC class despite the early hour. Corbin was perched on his shoulder to come with him as the professor had instructed in the class announcement. As he neared the area and noticed many students with their cats he hoped there wasn't going to be an issue. Though at least the raven could fly away pretty fast if a mess was to errupt. Shaking the thought off, Gideon nodded politely noticing the professor watching from her hut. "Good day professor," he greeted not sure of her name but he was sure she'd introduce herself. That done, he settled on one of the bean bag chairs to await class to begin, his bag at his feet. |
Kennedy was not a morning person. He was the type to usually sleep in, especially if the weather was mild. All wrapped up in his covers...oh yeah, that was life. He had been preparing for this lesson since Bianca told him wonders about it. Ken was wasn't much of an animal person, but that could be because he's rarely been exposed to them and because of that he didn't have a pet to bring. It made him feel a bit out of place. "Good morning, Professor," he said, bashfully. Then we went to sit on one of the beanbags. He really liked this kind of seating instead of desks. |
Harlow's hair was in rare form today. It was as big as ever, but she was wearing a little tiara. It wasn't a real one, that was in her Gringotts vault. But her daddy told her every princess needed and crown and todays he just felt extra special so she had it on. It twinkled in her mass of hair. "Morning Professor." she waved at her and gave her a big smile and a little curtsy. Quote:

Desiree followed her gaze and suddenly realized she was talking about her beanbag. Desiree let out a laugh "Well blue's my favorite color.." she explained smiling at her unslytherin like response. It wasn't a rule that Slytherin's had to love the color green anyway. Suddenly Lila jumped up on her shoulder. Desiree didn't see a pet with Nora.. "Did you bring an animal?" she asked as her owl began chewing on her hair. |
Ahh, Care of Magical Creatures. It was a class that she always enjoyed, even when she was getting attacked by giant spiders. Growing up on a farm, Em loved animals, and magical creatures were no different. Emmaleigh had left her common room with her pygmy puff in hand, and headed up to the owlery to retrieve her owl Yvaine. When she arrived up there, she had found her other owl Halt still there. He had shown up a couple of day ago with a letter from her parents. He was either resting up for his trip home, or he was upset about not being brought to hogwarts this term. "Halt, Yvaine" she said giving her sharp whistle. "We've got a class to get to." Em had finally managed to get out of the castle, but it was a slow journey with two owls and a pygmy puff. She had ended up placing pintsize in her robes pocket where he usually lived anyways, and Halt found his usual perch on her shoulder. Yvaine had sat perched on her arm until Em exited the castle, and took then the bird took off the the sky. Knowing the owl would follow, she continued to the class. When she arrived, she greeted the professor with a cheery "Good morning Ma'am" and and then found a seat on one of the bean bags. |
:claw: Harvey walked into Care of Magical Creatures with his snowy owl on his arm and selected a bean bag and sat down, he looked around for someone but he did not see them so he settled down. :claw: |
Lysandra walked down towards the hut that belonged to Professor McClane, Stein on sitting on her shoulder. I wonder why we had to bring our pets Lysandra thought. When she reached the hut, she saw bean bags sitting in front of the place. Wonder what those are for. She neared the house and saw the Professor standing there. Hello Professor she said to Professor McClane as she reached the hut. She then decided to settle in one of the many bean bags, one being green, her favorite color, as she waited with a couple more students for class to start. Stein jumped from her shoulder to the ground in front of her and hooted at her. She smiled and gently stroked him on his head. |
Salima walked into the grounds looking around at anyone. She felt as if she should of read the noticeboard carefully, as nearley everyone had brought their pet but she didn't mind because she didn't have a pet anyway. |
Penny meandered down to the Core of Magical Creatures class with Dora hooting happily on her shoulder... She was quite looking forward to this class, Magical creatures and their care and habits interested Penny greatly... Sitting down on a comfy bean bag, she dropped her bag to the ground, Dora fluttered down onto her knee, pecking her pocket for some treats.. Penny thought that maybe she should introduce herself to the new teacher.. "Good morning Professor, I'm Penny Laughgood, second year Hufflepuff... and this here Snowy Owl, is Dora" |
Spike skipped down to the first Care of Magical Creatures lessons, skidding to a halt as he reached the hut. He was usually excited by the prospect of a class involving creatures, but one that involved bringing your own pet had the signs of being awesome. Or in Spike's case, pets in plural. With a grin and nod to the Professor, he bounded over to a blue bean bag and jumped onto it. His curls ruffled, as Matilda moved around upon his hair, wondering whether it was safe to explore. A tentative leg dropped on to his forehead, before it disappeared back into his unruly mess. Spike was joined by his other pets too - Killy and Kranky were safely in his pocket, away from any prowling furballs, whilst Sophie was hidden in his robes too. He'd get them out in his own time, if he wanted to. |

But soon enough, Nora thought about something else. An animal? Oooooh. That was when she had actually remembered that they were allowed to bring pets for the class. Good thing that Elijah was spending pretty much all his time in her pockets. She carefully took out the tiny, green lizard out of a pocket of her robes, but held him in both her hands, trying to shield him from Desiree's owl. She loved owls, and she had a feeling that they also loved lizards. "Meet Elijah," the girl grinned. Let's just hope that Desiree won't think that she was weird, carrying her lizard in her pocket. He was the one that enjoyed it, after all. |

Harvey saw Penny and waved at her. "Hey Penny how are you?" :claw: |
Isabella was thrilled for the start of another class. This one should be interesting enough. She glanced around and took everything in. "Good Morning professor."she stated to the teacher. She noticed the bean bag chairs and quickly grabbed a purple one...of course. She quietly observed the other students and waited for the lesson to begin. |
" Good morning " Willaim told the professor. Willaim is ready for COMC class. |

Desiree watched as Nora pulled something out of her pocket. A lizard! "He's really cute" Desiree said happily. "Can I hold-" All of the sudden Lila lunged forward at Elijah... O__O "Lila no!" she called. Luckily she caught her right before she could attack the poor little lizard. Phew. "Bad Lila" she scolded the owl "Sorry.. she's just a little hungry." she explained giving the owl some treats. |
Bring pets...huh? This was going to be a different class then? Actually Josh was hoping for a class about Unicorns so he would be seeing if the Professor had enough proof of their existence yet this was interesting too. Leaving his robe in the dormitory, on his bed next to the window, he checked the rest of his school uniform before making his way to the grounds with Lock (the one on the right) happily clinging on his left arm and the wild, disobedient, vicious Hotty in a cage. Of course, that bird would be in cage since she looked way angrier than ever when Josh had visited her in the owlery this morning so he had no idea what part of his body she'd consider breakfast this time. Not to mention that it had been a great struggle to put her back in that cage...which Josh did not like to discuss about and which was the very reason of the fresh scratch on his right cheek. Eh. At least it stopped bleeding, for now, or not the Gryffindor did not know as he did not, again, check himself in a mirror before coming down to the grounds. Once he arrived the Magical Creatures class area, he stopped, looked around and took a deep breath feeling grateful that the class was on the grounds. ''Hello, professor!'' |

Selina walked down to Care of Magical Creatures tiredly. She was not sure what Professor's obsession was with having class before 10 o'clock in the morning at the earliest, but she was not enjoying the waking up part of coming back to Hogwarts. Of course, she loved her classes, Professors, friends and food, but seriously, couldn't everyone stand to start their day just a tad later? It was super early and if she did not have one of her friends in her dorm waking her up everyday she would simply not get up, which would be a shame because she would miss breakfast. Then she stumbled into CoMC and smiled at Professor McClane and said, " Morning Professor." Bright and early morning. |
Phoenix walked in the CoMC classroom, her cats Kisa and Ebony at her heels, the class had been requested to bring their pets with them and with a sigh of relief, Phoenix noticed she wasn't the only one with more than one pet, Kisa and Ebony wouldn't go anywhere without each other and wouldn't stay at home while she was at school so she had had to bring them both. 'Hello Professor.' she greeted as she passed the desk and took a seat near the back of the classroom, Kisa leapt up onto her lap as Ebony proceeded to investigate his surroundings. She could see no one she knew but she hoped that she would make some new friends. |

Tori was pretty excited about this class. She loveeeeeeeeeed magical creatures and was hoping to one day acquire a baby unicorn of her own. But until then, she was happy just having a pygmy puff for a pet. Skipping into class, the redheaded Slytherin picked out a pink beanbag chair and plopped down, giving the professor a friendly wave as she did so. "Hello Professor! I am SO excited for your class!" She even clapped a little, as if to prove her point. Heehe! |
School bag slung over one of her shoulders, hair in a loose ponytail, and Perseus perched gracefully on her shoulder, the Puff prefect made her way down to the new creature professor's hut. She'd forgotten to visit this one, which was surprising considering this was her most favorite class, but Arya supposed she could meet this one after the lesson or whenever else she made her way out to the stables. "Morning professor." She murmured, sparing the woman the faintest of smiles as her eyes wandered around for a free seat. Hm. Well she wasn't sitting beside Chicken Girl and her little zoo, Arya picked a bean bag close to the professor, completely ignoring the table, and settled into it with her kneazle. |
