Ariana Received an owl from her "Serpent Sidekick" Sierra who was a third year, to meet her here in Classroom eleven to meet her. Ariana was nervous about what the fellow snake had planned after all the only older snake she had met was Marilyn & she was a 7th year but Ariana felt safe with Marilyn.

After getting that mysterious letter (alright, maybe not that mysterious) from her serpent sidekick, Sierra, Nora was simply excited and curious to find out what her fellow Slytherin had in mind.
So, just as the letter said, the girl made her way to one of those empty classes, classroom eleven, and scanned the room, since she knew Sierra from other classes and from the Quidditch matches.
But... what if she wanted to play a prank on Nora?

... it was already too late to escape, eh?
The door to classroom eleven opened, and Sierra Greingoth stepped inside. She peered around the room for a second, until her eyes finally landed on both Ariana and Nora. "Hello, girls," she said, not necessarily in a friendly tone, but in a tone that meant she was slightly all business and no play. "We should get the introductions out of the way first, and then we'll get right down to business. I'm Sierra Greingoth, a third year, and...which one of you is Ariana, and which one of you is Nora?" Right. The bulletin board hadn't included pictures of the Serpent Sidekicks.

When she heard a voice, apparently talking to her and another girl she did not know, Nora winced a little, and turned to see Sierra. "Hi," she said, trying to hide her curiosity with a smile. Get down to business? Weren't they supposed to just... be friends?
"I'm Nora Reed, a second year. It's nice to meet you." Shooting a sideways glance towards another Slytherin girl, Nora gave her a wave of her hand. She didn't have to introduce herself twice, right?

As Sierra listened to the girls go through their introductions, she thought about the reason why she was here. House points, ultimately. Thoughts of the House Cup played through her mind then, and she smiled to herself. She'd come up with what she considered to be a brilliant plan, and if all took off as she hoped it would, Slytherin would score some major points.
"Well, then," she said, moving forward and closer to the girls, "it's good to know who's who now." She took a quick glance around the room, checking to see if there were any Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, or Ravenclaws present, and then turned back to the girls. "So I thought we'd meet up in here, because...well," she began, "I have a plan."
Again, she looked around the room, but seeing as they were the only ones in here, she turned back to the girls. "So Slytherin's been a little short on...support in the stands during our Quidditch matches, and I was hoping in meeting up with you, I could convince you to do a little chant at the championship match," she said. She paused and let that sink in. Actually, she was thinking that if they managed to get caught in the act of 'doing something good for their house', they'd all score some house points. Who knew, but...she needed their help first.

She had a plan. Alright.
The more Sierra was telling them, the more curious Nora became. "What exactly do you have in mind?" As in, what was her super secret and evil plan that only her new minions serpent sidekicks could help her with?
Nora only hoped that Sierra wouldn't ask them to do something against the rules, because she wouldn't want to take part of it then. But... maybe it could be something fun.

Ariana liked this girl, sneaky & brilliant really. She thought Sierra might have some evil plan but Ariana was ALL for it. she hadn't done anything horrible or rule breakish all year. "whatever you have in mind, Im up for!" Ariana said as excitement boiled up in her

Pleased that the two girls seemed to be on board, Sierra relaxed her stance a little and gave the girls a pleased smile. "Well, you see, my plan is really simple, and the best part about it is that I think it'll score us some extra house points," she said. If there was any way to get a Slytherin on board with something, it was to offer them something in return. Sierra should know--she was one of them. Plus, that was how she worked. No way would she get in on some sort of plan unless she saw a personal gain.
"So, here's the plan--I teach you two a short Slytherin-themed chant, and the two of you can lead the house in chanting it at the championship game," she said. Right. They were short on fans in the stands, so they definitely needed some more. No way did she want the Claws to have more supporters. "I'd do it myself, but I'm on the team. So what do you say?"

"that sounds like loads of fun actually! Le's do it!" Ariana was excited to go to the championship game she was always to busy with homework to go to any other game this year.

Glad that it wasn't an evil plan after all, Nora's grin widened when she heard about chanting. She'd love to do that at the game! Too bad she missed the last games, but the Slytherins were good, so they must be in the final match, right?
"Of course we'll do it," she smiled with a quick sideways glance at the other Slytherin, Ariana. The only problem was that Nora couldn't quite yell to be heard well enough, but there was a spell that could solve the problem. Hehe.
Sorry guys. I think we're on way different time zones. XD

Again, there was another pleased smile from Sierra. "Excellent then," she said, and then she turned her head and glanced around the room again. If she was going to do this, even if was for Slytherin's own personal gain, she didn't want to be seen by a crowd of spectators. "Okay, so--repeat after me," she said.

This was fun; hearing Sierra sing, that is.
Hearing the lyrics to her chant, Nora barely fought back the urge of giggling. After a few more moments in which she tried to memorize as much as she could, she happily joined Sierra.

Hecate Lafay walked by the empty classroom on her way to the great hall, when she heard singing...
She would have just let it go... ignored it and gone to the staff table for some well deserved dinner, when she realized the song was about her own house. She stood in the doorway, leaning against the doorjam, and listened to the kids finish their songs.
"May I ask what is going on here?" She said crossing her arms.
A ship in harbor is safe — but that is not what ships are built for.
Victoria was literally passing by the classroom, until she heard...singing? It was a while before she realized they were singing something about Slytherin.
That is so awesome! It's actually kind of catchy really. Victoria was really into it until a horrid thought struck her mind. She really doesn't want to be earsdropping or anything, but this sounds really awesome. Should she leave? Yeah...maybe she should until one of the singers found out Victoria was listening in. Maybe...
Victoria froze. She had stuck in the doorway and saw Professor Lafay. When...where...did she come from? Uh oh. She doesn't seem too happy about the singing. This would be a great reason to walk away. But since her curiousity had lead her this far, one of the people must have seen her.
"I think they're having Slytherin spirit professor." Victoria called out from the doorway. What? Why did Victoria open her mouth? Why did she even say anything? Victoria was furious with herself. Blabber mouth, now see what you've gotten yourself into? Victoria thought.

Ariana was totally into the Chant that Sierra taught them She was so ready to go to this game when suddenly she heard voices & not just any voices it was professor Lafay & another student. Ariana face got redder than a tomato at this point. Ariana said with her hands behind her back & her head down hoping they weren't about to get in trouble.

"Hello, professor," the girl mumbled, and then biting her lower lip, wondering if she should say anything at all. There was another unknown Slytherin that looked like she actually enjoyed Sierra's chant, but still... were they in some kind of trouble because they were singing in an empty classroom?
... probably.

Well, this was good. Both of them were chanting now, and they'd been good about agreeing to cheer on the team at the match. Perfect. Now those lame Puffers would have even less support in the stands, and the Slytherin victory would be even more sweet. "That's right," she answered Nora. "There's two of you now," she said, speaking of Nora and Ariana, "and maybe you can get a few more to join in? The louder we are, the more we can drown out the other house."
She passed Ariana a pleased smile just as she heard an oh-so-familiar voice coming from the direction of the doorway. "Professor Lafay," Sierra greeted with a smile, heading over to greet their Head of House. She overlooked the way the woman stood with her arms crossed over her chest. This was all about Slytherin pride here, and she was more than happy to explain that. "We're showing our Slytherin pride, of course. I had an idea to teach Nora and Ariana, my Serpent Sidekicks, a chant that they could use at the championship match," she explained. "We've been a little short on cheering fans at the last few matches, so I thought it'd be awesome to give that area a little push in the right direction."
Just then, another voice sounded at the doorway, and a Slytherin girl appeared, apparently having just listened in on the chanting. "That's exactly what we're doing," she answered. "You wanna join in, too? We can teach it to you." She looked over at Nora and Ariana, who looked a little worried at the presence of Lafay. She wished she could tell them what she knew--that Lafay was one of the most amazing Quidditch players Slytherin had ever seen. House pride, especially when it came to things like Quidditch chants, was likely something Lafay would appreciate.
A ship in harbor is safe — but that is not what ships are built for.
Victoria now faced three other Slytherin girls in the classroom. This is probably the most female Slytherin gathering ever, besides the Slythering Common Room and the dorm. Heehee...this is like a cool gathering or something.
But it's not that cool that Devil Lady Professor Lafay had found out. Hopefully she won't mind a little Slytherin spirit? She is, after all, the Head of Slytherin House. Victoria added a hopeful, tiny little smile to the professor after calling out from the doorway. Please don't give us detention, please don't give us detention.
Now all they have to do is to wait patiently until Professor Lafay replies, and hopefully to tell them that a little Slytherin pride is fine...
Victoria's attention now turned to the third Slytherin, whom Victoria had recognized from many classes. She doesn't seem too afraid of Professor Lafay, instead, she was smiling! Victoria wished she was that brave herself.
When the third Slytherin replied back to Victoria, she doesn't even know what to say. She obviously can't reply back now that the Devil Lady is standing just inside the room, looking at them as if they were her prey.
*gulp*
"Errr....sure...if we escape this one first." Victoia murmured in the softest voice she can.

"I can see that." She said with a smirk. She straightened.

Ariana said with her hands behind her back & her head down hoping they weren't about to get in trouble.
"Is Miss Greingoth a good sidekick?" She asked.

"Hello, professor," the girl mumbled, and then biting her lower lip, wondering if she should say anything at all. There was another unknown Slytherin that looked like she actually enjoyed Sierra's chant, but still... were they in some kind of trouble because they were singing in an empty classroom?
... probably.
That was when Nora was tempted to ask whether they were doing something that was against the rules but, at a second thought, she kept that to herself. "We were just singing," she said, throwing a quick look at Ariana, then at Sierra, and then finally fixing her gaze on her shoes.
She was afraid that professor Lafay might have Basilisk powers.
"Hello... I saw you were singing." She said hearing the girl muttering. "I kind of liked it."

...or so Sierra hoped.
... a few more to join them... Hmmm... that would be a fun day in the stands...

"Alright... let's see how good Greingoth is..." She said conjuring four sets of green and silver pompoms.
"Miss Reed, Miss Logan... pick up a set of poms and sing it again, but this time with Miss DeCour. Miss DeCour you heard the song..." She said plainly, "Pick up a set of poms and do your best keep up. Miss Greingoth, you will also pick up a set of poms and help DeCour stay in time."
She looked at the girls standing there, in what seemed to be... terror? Ok... so she gave off a scary vibe... so what?
"Well? What are you waiting for? A written invitation? Start singin!"

She... kind of liked it?
She wasn't mad?
...
That was... unexpected. The last thing Nora expected to hear. She was on the point of expecting to hear the word 'detention' or something, but nooo. The Potions mistress liked it.
Seeing the green and silver pompons, Nora was the first one to grab a pair and wiggled them in the air when she started singing. She didn't even care that she sounded way too enthusiastic.
"We're never gonna stop, stop, st-st-st-stop,
We'll always be on top, top, t-t-t-top,
We're serpents 'til we drop, drop, dr-dr-dr-drop,
We're always gonna win, we are Slyth-er-in!
In Quidditch, we're the best, best, b-b-b-best!
Better than all the rest, rest, r-r-r-rest!
Don't put us to the test, test, t-t-t-test,
We're always gonna win, we are Slyth-er-in!"
A ship in harbor is safe — but that is not what ships are built for.
Victoria watched silently as the profesor conjured four sets of pom poms. FOUR? Whose the other one for?
WHAT? NO! Victoria doesn't want to sing...
*gulp*
When was the last time Victoria sang? Oh yeah....well....like years ago! Victoria probably have sang about only two times in her whole life. And Professor Lafay wants them to sing now! No warm ups or anything? It looks as if they don't start singing, she's going to pounce on them or something. Yeah, I really shouldn't have said anything. Victoria thought gloomy and took the set of pom poms.
"We - nev - gonna - la...la...la..." Victoria's voice got softer by the second. "We - always - top...la...la...la...
We - snake - serpent - 'til - drop...la....la...la...
We - win - Slytherins...la...la...la
Qui - tch - best, best, la...la...
Best - better - than - rest, la...la...
Don't - put - test - us - la...la...
We - always - win - Slytherin...la...la..."

Ariana was set back at first all the mean things she heard about professor Lafay & all of them seemed false at this point. Ariana Went & picked up some... pom poms as much as she didnt want to and started her chant... "Like this Victoria.." as she tried to help her class mate out.. [B]"We're never gonna stop, stop, st-st-st-stop;

She did the chant slowly so that victoria could try to catch on.

Wait...
What?! Sierra was going to have to pick up those silly pom poms and sing, as well?! ...but this was supposed to be something she taught to others--so that they could do the pom pom waving and cheering! Sierra gave Lafay a pleading look, but she knew her efforts would be useless. Trying to reason your way out of something Lafay wished for you to do was like a death wish.
...and so Sierra picked up a set of pom poms. She felt silly. When the other girls began, Sierra did, as well:
"We're never gonna stop, stop, st-st-st-stop,
We'll always be on top, top, t-t-t-top,
