These gumdrops were making him hungry. Would Professor Vindictus notice if he took a bite of one? Maybe, maybe not. It would be gross though, since they've all been whacked around.

Kennedy spotted a blue gumdrop and his eyes lit up. Hehe, that was SO his. He set course toward it and when he got close enough he swung the beaters bat and TWACK!

The blue gumdrop flew out of sight.

:O GUMMMDROOOPSS?!

Looking around, Maacy watched as the others took off into the air and followed allong behind them. Pushing off into the air, she held tight to her broom with one hand and twirled the bat in the other. Hehehehehe, this was going to be fun. And as if to emphasize that fact, the fifth year zoomed towards a bright orange mass of sugar, hitting it with all the strength she had upon passing.

WHHHAAACK.

The gumdrop sailed off into the distance, bouncing its way through the students and off towards some unlucky underclassman. Heh. She couldn't wait to be a seventh year. Then she could chuck stuff at the younger kids on a regular basis.

One gumdrop down...however many more to go.

Swinging to the side to avoid one that had be targetted and hit by a fellow classmate, Gideon headed off after another. It was easier said then done with them floating in such a way, even random movement around them would move them around. Finally picking out his next destination, he aimed at it and swung. The action sending it bouncing against its nearest neighbor, while he in turn decided to head up further in the air several more feet to try and survey the whole landscape.

Gumdrop here, gumdrop there, gumdrops everywhere!

Kennedy's green eyes tried following all of the gumdrops that zoomed through the field that at the end, his hand gone slightly cross-eyed. He shook his head just in time to see a flying, green gumdrop heading straight at him. He grabbed the bat with one hand, tightly. He pulled his arm backward and then swung...

... TWACK!

The gumdrop bounced off it and flew the opposite direction. Kennedy was liking this.

Oh yeah!

Indiana was going to try and hit the next gumdrop a bit harder, so that it would probably go hard around the stadium. Because really if she wanted to improve her beater skills, she would need to kind of hit the items a bit harder. She held onto the bat, and leaned forward on her broom a little, so that her broom would go a little faster. She looked up, trying to find the next gumdrop to hit. Ooh. There was a pink one. Indy kept her eye on that gumdrup, and flew towards it, when she got nearer, she held the bat out, and hit it. Woot. It was a bit harder this time, so Indiana thought that it had been a bit more succesful. Indy sat up a little on her broom, and grinned. Oh yes. She was pretty sure that she was getting better at this.

Without even pausing much, she leaned down again, and flew towards a green gumdrop this time, and hit it with her bat, sending it flying off somewhre in the stadium. Success, Indy was enjoying this.

Gumdrops...yum. Isabelle loved her gumdrops. To bad they didn't get to eat them.

Isabelle mounted her broom swiftly and took off from the ground nicely. Ahh. Now she was flying. This was great. Isabelle loved flying. Flying was one thing that never got tiring for her. When she was at home she flew all of the time. Isabelle saw a purple gumdrop nearby and zoomed after it. Once she got near it she took a swing, and a miss. That wasn't very good. Isabelle tried again. This time she made contact with the gumdrop and sent it flying off into the stadium.

Jesifur grabbed a broom and a bat. There were gumdrops whizzing all around above her. Her classmates were hitting them about with their bats and it looked like so much fun. Jesifur threw her leg over her broom and pushed off. Aiming the handle towards the nearest gumdrops she took a swing. And missed completely. She thought it looked so easy, but it was proving to be more difficult. She spun around, and steadied herself. Seeing another gumdrop flying in her direction shee focus her eyes on it. Pulling her arm back she swung hard. The bat made contact with this one, but a bit toward the topside. The gumdrop popped up high into the air. Little bits of sugar fell off it as it flew. Jesifur smiled at the fact that she made contact with the second one.

Kennedy swerved when a yellow gumdrop zoomed out of nowhere in his direction. Phew, imagine if that would've hit him. Aaaaak. No. That was a thought he didn't like. As his classmates flew around the pitch, in the middle of it all he spotted a red gumdrop that was barely moving, kind of reminded him of turtle. He dived down, with his arm extended back then...

WHACK!

The thing giggled and flew towards the ground and then bounced back up. Kennedy prepared his bat arm and swung at it as it pelted down.

TWACK!

Woot! Two hits with one gumdrop.

Awwwww they had to destroy the candy? Not each other?! Tori wasn't too happy about that, but she hefted her bat over her shoulder and took to the skies anyway.

Zooming around, Tori's first instinct was to duck as a chunk of gumdrop came flying her way. But instead, she remembered that she was armed and swung her bat around above her head, Lafay- helicopter-style. WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOOOOOOOSH went the bat.

And then.....

BAM!

Tori made contact with the gumdrop and sent it flying in somebody else's direction. Heh. Success.

Whirling around at the sound of a bat smacking against a gumdrop EXTREAMLY close to her ear, Macy found a gumdrop headed straight towards her. AHHHHH. Now seemed like one of those times where it would be apropriate to scream, were she in a movie with a comet hurling at her. But she wasn't. So she was going to have to refrain from doing that.

Instead, the fifth year swung the her bat (hard, mind you), sending the gumdrop spiraling back in the direction it came from.

WHHHHHAAAACKK.

For the love of Merlin's soggy hat, she was going to be deaf after this class.

Ooh...gumdrops...too bad that they are for hitting only.

Victoria mounted her broomstick and shot straight for the open air.

Gumdrops are flying everywhere! Gumdrops of different colors that made Victoria's eyes hungry of more sweets. It was more difficult for Victoria to decide which ones to hit. Oooh...maybe that glittering blue one near the trees.

Victoria flew straight for it and WHACK! She has hit the green gumdrop more than twelve feet away!

Kennedy spotted a red gumdrop a few feet away from him. He wanted that one, but right then one of his classmates had swung at it sending it across the pitch. He wanted that one!!!

He picked up his speed, his intention to beat the red gumdrop and hit it, because he had chosen that one as his victim and so, he wasn't going to let it get away. He stopped once he had gotten ahead of it and then he swung his arm back and then forward hitting the gumdrop across the pitch.

Now, where were more gumdrops, eh?

Alyssa laughed when the gumdrop she had sent Harvey's way hit him splat in the face too. "That's definitely one way to have a bite at it,"Alyssa laughed to herself. Then she saw him hit the same one back at her. "Heck no way am I going to eat something that someone has already taken a bite out of," So Alyssa ducked her head and let it fly by her.

Then she heard a whizzing sound behind her and managed to duck a gum drop that some other student had accidentally hit her way. "Whew! now that was close although getting hit by a gumdrop wouldn't hurt as much as being hit by a bludger." Alyssa knew a thing or two about that being a recipent of one or two hits herself.

Then she spied one gum drop hovering way up above her. "Must have been a hit by someone,"she thought to herself. "Might as well bring it down." So leaning forward on her broom, Alyssa pointed her handle at an angle upwards and went for the single gum drop in the sky. When she got near it, she swung her bat and hit it.

THWACK!!

....and as it went flying back down, she leaned forward on her broom and flew down with it. When it got low enough, she hit it with her bat again and sent it back towards Harvey. "Hey Harvey, here comes another one for you to eat. This time keep this one and send me a brand new one instead." Alyssa called over, while laughing at the thought that Harvey had actually sent her back the one that he had taken a bite out of.

Chris swerved as a gumdrop was hit in front of him. He stood still on his broom for a while, then he spotted a gumdrop a few yards ahead of him and flew toward it. He pulled his arm back and swung! The gumdrop went flying away from him! Chris smiled in truimph, he seemed to be pretty good at this.

Harvey laughed as she ducked and went to retrieve another. So she wanted a new one, one that hadnt been bitten. He decided to let her have dibs on this one so he lined himself and his bat with the gumdrop

TWACKKK!!!!!

"Alyssa look out here is one for YOU to eat!!!" he yelled to her as he hit the same gumdrop back to her. As he this one he did not realise that another was coming towards him from behind him, he heard a whizzing but it was too late. He turned around but then...

SSPPLLAATT!!!

This gumdrop got stuck to his face and he couldnt get it off by shaking his head. So he let go of his broom with one hand and then pulled off the gumdrop and hit it away with his bat. He now had a very sticky and mucky face, so he decided to eat some of the gumdrop that was on his face.

louise was exited gumdops, she had a feeling this class was going to be fun, she took off from the ground, she saw lots of them going into her face,she did a loop left to get away from them, she saw the other students having fun,

Alyssa was looking around for other gumdrops that were whizzing by her that she didn't realized that Harvey had just hit back the one that she had sent him. Since she didn't want to get hit in the face again, she moved her broom to the side, dodging the gumdrop. As it whizzed past her, she reached out and grabbed bits off it and stuck it in her mouth. "Yum! If I keep this up, I won't be needing my broom soon. I'll be flying high on the sugar rush alone."

She turned around ready to hit another gum drop to Harvey when she saw him get hit in the face by a stray gumdrop. He looked so funny that she couldn't help herself from bursting out laughing. She laughed so hard that she almost fell off her broom. She quickly caught her balance and sat upright on her broom. Then she looked for more gum drops to hit. There was one floating a few feet from her. Another orange one. She leaned forward on her broom and flew towards it. Swinging her bat, she hit it as she flew by. "This is defininitely good bludger practice,"Alyssa thought to herself.

"Hey! Harvey let me know when you're all cleaned up and ready for the next gum drop,"Alyssa called over to him.

"You and me both!!! I already feel like I have excess sugar in my system after eating all this gunk on my face!!!" he yelled back, but he was soon NOT laughing as Harvey looked at Alyssa with disbelief as she laughed when the gumdrop hit him in the face. After a while of watching her laugh and almost lose her balance he decided that he was ready "Oh I am ready, hit me!!!!" he said, then he realised what he said "I dont mean literally!!! DONT hit me!!! just hit the gumdrop to me!!!!" he quickly yelled back, before she could decide how to literally hit him. He exhaled at least he stopped her before she could hit him. Just then he saw a gumdrop come to him from his side and he hit it away

TWWAACCKKK!!!

as Alyssa got ready to hit her orange gumdrop to him. "Now I know what it feels like to be a beater!!!" he said as he got ready to receive the gumdrop

The gumdrop flew, and Ashley flew after it, because he was determined not to let it get away. This was about justice now. Of course, maybe he could have instead found out who'd hit it before it crashed into him, but that wouldn't have been as much fun. Besides, the exercise was to hit the candy, not classmates or anything, so it wouldn't have done any good anyway.
He watched the gumdrop, then decided to try and fly faster than it, to cut it off and hit it back in the direction from which it'd come. He'd gotten the going faster part down, but he hadn't quite realized that once he got ahead, he was going to have to make a sharp turn. Slowing down, he tried to rethink his plan, but the candy was now coming toward him again, and he didn't want to miss it. Instead of turning, he just backhanded the bat, hitting the gumdrop back in the opposite direction. Then he turned and followed it.

He almost had it. Kennedy turned back and stared at the gumdrop that he had just missed. He was so close, but unfortunately got distracted by a yellow one. Seriously, bright colors distracted him quite a bit. He saw a blue gumdrop flying aimlessly... He was going to hit that one. One way or the other.

He readied his bat arm and swung hard. He felt the gumdrop try to resist but his strength won it. He cheerfully saw as it flew the opposite direction from him. Yeah, dont mess with him. Hehe.

It was certainly pretty from above.

A whole field of multi-colored floating gumdrops...enormous multi-colored gumdrops. Vindictus liked stuff big and that worked when you had to deal with an open-aired classroom such as the pitch. Satisified with his mini break, Gideon ducked down and zoomed towards one red one off the far left side, his broom swooping around a few others that appeared on his right.

While he was getting ready to aim for the next one, the fourth year Gryffindor finally noticed Selina's presence in the class and faltered in his swing. The beater's bat seemingly whizzing by the end of the gumdrop that he had been going after. And why shouldn't she be there? It was riddulus to think she wouldn't be in a class on flying...a subject she certainly excelled in. He shook his head when he realized what had actually happened other then the hit he had gone for.

Focus Gert...focus!

Minerva took some time getting the courage to let go over her broom to hit anything, but she finally felt like she had her balance. She saw Alyssa and Harvey having fun so she wanted to try to join in. "Hey guys hit this if you can." Minerva flew near a gumdrop and smacked it with her bat. She was excited to hit the gumdrop and not fall off her broom!

Selina stood shoulder by shoulder with the rest of her classmates when Vindictus started to yell out the instructions for their activity. Once he explained the final instructions Vindictus' tweeted his whistle and they were off. She saw the gumdrops arise in the air and she hopped on her broom with the beater bat and flew toward the center of the pitch. When she was in the air she started to search for the gumdrops that were scattered all about. Her eye caught one and she flew toward the first gumdrop.

Because she was one of the last students in the air gumdrops were already flying all about. One particularly fast gumdrop flew by her head with great precision. She looked toward the shooter and saw that Gideon was whacking away at the gumdrops with great intensity. Remembering her avoidance of him she averted her eyes and went back to her task.

Time to take down some gumdrops.

After the first hit Minerva enjoyed it so much she didn't wait for Harvey or Alyssa to hit back. Another Gumdrop flew near her she lined up and hit it towards a crowd of students. "WATCH OUT" Minerva hoped she didn't hit anyone at least off guard.

Selina aimed her broom straight up in the air so she could gain speed quickly and get up to where she needed to be. Once she was on the upper tear of flyers in the air she looked at a more birds eye view of the whole pitch. She was not directly over the rest of the flyers, she was just flying at the height that most of the older students were buzzing about on. Then she caught sight of a gumdrop. It was flying straight for her head. Her eyes grew big and she hugged her head down to meet her broom handle.

Once the coast was clear she looked up at the rest of the Pitch and flew toward another gumdrop. She had never been so good with a beater bat in the air, she was more of a fan of the beater bat in everyday situations. But she would try her hand at it. So she drew her bat back and swung at the oncoming gumdrop. She flinched a little at the impact of bat to gumdrop. When she peaked open her eyes she smiled broadly. Nice shot.
