But her hands get tired easily, so she slipped off a bit and put him on her lap (still with a hand attached firmly to his back). Better.
When Minnie started talking about Dr Pepper, she laughed. "Nah, I'm okay with my water. They're just as good as other drinks."

Janice didn't really think that her cat was 'cute', more like 'annoying' or 'irritating', but it's kind of one of the things that anchored her to her home back in Cornwall. Her grandma --from the magical side of the family-- gave it to her as her 12th birthday present, and she passed away 3 months later of old age.
She took a look at the compartment door, which was closed, and eyed Patches cautiously. Slowly, she let go of her hand. But as soon as the contact was broken, Patches ran down her feet, leapt above some feet of the others and went for the door. He scratched it with its not-fully-grown claws while Janice took a deep breath and walked slowly after him. She picked it up by the arms and lifted him to her seat. "I should really get you a cage," she muttered to herself. She took out her wand, pointed it at the door's bottom and said "Reparo". The scratches healed itself. No harm done. "That's why I was late," she told Minnie. "He jumped off my hands and ran towards the very front of the train. Yeah." She kept a steady hand on top of him, in case he want to go off wandering again. "It's like, there's a something that's attracting him from the outside. Hey, do you think I should put a Body-Bind Curse on him?" she added as an afterthought.

Victoria strolled to the very back the train as she pulled her heavy luggage behind her, and followed by her enthusiastic dog, who was wagging her tail excitely. Unlike Victoria herself, Cookie, her dog, loves train rides, plane rides, and even car rides and sailing boats.
Shaking with disbelief, Victoria pulled opened the door of an empty compartment and heaved her trunk in. Cookie ran quickly inside and settled herself on an empty seat. Victoria set her trunk and other belongings aside and popped on a seat herself, making her comforatable.

Kita readjusted her grip around her owl's cage as she walked. Alaska seemed to have understood her feelings, for once. No more huffiness or rolling of the eyes at her owner's stupidity. A lot more cuddles had been given as well. And treats! Treats were always good!
OH LOOKIT! Cassie! Kita let a small smile cross her lips as she opened the door of the compartment and poked her head in. "Did someone tell me there's a gathering going on here?" And... it seemed as though she was the first other member! Now wasn't that a first! "Ladies...."he said as he poked his head into the compartment. It was their last train ride on the Hogwarts express. It was sad and somewhat, exciting to know that they started this journey with a train ride and they would end it with a train ride.
Of course there were a few new things that Jai left Hogwarts with a lot more friends than he came with and one of the loveliest girls in his class thought that he was ok enough to be her boyfriend. His best friend was there, closer than ever and he had actually guy friends. Real ones. He was an only child with parents that barely had time for him. But all that had changed at Hogwarts.
Poking in the rest of his body that had grown bigger and taller since he went to Hogwarts, Jai move to sit next to Kita, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek and sat down. "So what's the hubbub all about? Cass?" he remarked.

Well this was it. Leaving behind Hogwarts. With her trunk, Wasabi's cage, and a few other odds and ends levitating in front of her Lexi sighed as she began to peek into the compartments... until she saw Orlando and Koala.
Sliding the door open she didn't hesitate to walk right in. Levitating her things, sans Wasabi's cage, up to the luggage area she then plopped down across from him.
" This sucks," she announced morosely.
