Valeria turned her attention to the person named Jayden. First years huh? That's good...Valeria thought. Valeria isn't very good at talking to older people.

"Yeah, I'm a first year. Are you?"

Melania wandered towards the back of the train just for the sake of exploring it. She noticed many people engaging in conversations and smiled as she walked by. She wondered how long it would be until they leave and arrive for school.

She was overwhelmed by how she said these. Just like half a second, she guessed. She's talking a lot really and maybe, she grew tired and suddenly she saw her taking a private nap.
"Yeah, that's right. Take a nap."

Before she could even breathe, another one. Really?! Good heavens! Full compartment. Are there no other? Well, the more the merrier, they said. But suffocation, oh no!

"Hi there!" she smiled. She looked at her and she saw herself through her eyes. She shouldn't be mean to her. She looks nice. "I'm Erin."

"You seem to be quite a bookworm. And you knew a lot. Well, I'll just turn to you whenever I needed help," she beamed.

"Alex, me too!" she said that finally she could talked to her.

"Don't worry!I will keep my promise."Tiffany said and they both laughed."Truly it was very crowded here, full of first year students but maybe it's good because we can make more friends!"she smiled. Then she stood up and said loudly to make sure everyone could hear,"Guys I am going to see if there is any chocolate frogs left or not and look for my friends. Would anyone of you want to have some more snacks?"

"Hello" She smiled. "Thank you" She thanked as he scooted over. Valeria walked and sat on the seat, which was also next another person who also scooted over to the window to allow her some room.

Valeria smiled to Alex too. "Hello Alex..it's very nice to meet you"

"So....I kinda heard you guys were talking about ghosts huh?"

"I will definitely let you know, Samuel, and yeah, I'm also a first year Valeria." Jayden added.

Alex made eye contact with Erin and smiled just minutes ago it was just the two of them and now she coudn't even look through the window she thought laughing

"Sure why not" "I'll let you know if I find anything worthwhile" she said

Suddenly another girl greeted her. Oh my, there sure are many people here aren't there? She looks nice though just like the rest of them, so Valeria didn't mind.

"Hello Erin" She smiled slightly. "Sorry for making the compartment full by the way" Valeria grinned a little.

Tiffany saw Melania as she walked out of her compartment. She grinned and called her name out loud."Hi Melania!"she shouted and waved at her happily. She was glad that finally she could find someone that she have already known.

Launna had really hoped she wouldn't have to tell Ash the reason she hadn't been sent to Hogwarts - he'd probably think she was a nutter. But she wasn't going to be reduced to lying about it. Hopefully not, anyway. It wasn't like it was her fault...

'My father murdered someone using the killing curse,' she said, staring defiantly at the wall opposite her, avoiding Ash's brown eyes. 'He was sent to Azkaban. My mum's a muggle, she didn't even know about the wizarding world until it happened. She thought magic was bad, made you evil, that sort of thing. She didn't want me to become a murderer.' Launna laughed hollowly. 'When the Hogwarts letter arrived, mum replied saying I'd be going to Beauxbatons instead. And you know what the magical schools are like - they never give away any of their secrets - they wouldn't say where their school was, let alone who attends it... So Hogwarts assumed I was at Beaxbatons, and vice versa. So I ended up at St. Andrew's school for girls. Lucky me.'

She didn't think she should be telling him all this, but she needed someone to confide in. She'd kept it all bottled up inside her for years and now she was exploding. It didn't look like Ash was the kind of person who would understand though. He was probably a pureblood, brought up knowing all his life that he'd have magical powers... Mind you, if her father hadn't turned out to be a murderer, maybe she'd be in his position too.

Yeah actually, do you know if the is and spell that you can use to get them to leave you alone? We heard there is one that likes to mess with first years so we thought a form of defense might be good," Samuel said.

"Lovely" Valeria smiled. My, she seemed to be smiling a lot today. Sure, she was kinda sad to leave her parents and brother back at home, but as she looked around the compartment, she was convinced that she'll do just fine. She'll owl them later anyway, as soon as she get to school.

"Hm...so, are you excited? What house do you think you'll be in?" Valeria of course had heard about the legendary Sorting Hat. She can't wait to know what house she'll get. Her mother was a Gryffindor and her father was a Slytherin, so she secretly hoped she'll get a different house. Preferably Ravenclaw...

Melania turned as she heard someone call her name. She smiled. "Tiffany!" At least there was one familiar face back here. "Everyone seems to back this way, huh?" she chuckled.

It really was getting packed... claustrophobia started to get the best of Jayden... "Hey guys, I'm gonna go walk around and get some food.. I'll be back."

She giggled and asked,"Where have you been,Melania?Where were you at?Why didn't you come and find me to sit with you, huh?"Tiffany tried to act like she was angry about that but she ended up laughing.

"A spell?" Valeria thought, confused. After a few seconds of thinking she replied,

"Well, I do know a few spells, but a defense one? I guess 'Expelliarmus' will work since it'll get rid of their wand and they won't be able to hex us..."

Valeria turned and grinned at her answer. "I'm glad you think so.."
She was right afterall, they all are nice people...

"Hey would you buy a chocolate frog for me please?" she asked tossing her the coins. She was starting to feel a bit hungry

She was glad Alex backed her up. "That's right," she muttered.
Then said, "I'll go out too. I'll follow Jayden. Enjoy guys!"

"Oh? A Gryffindor huh?" Valeria raised her eyebrows in wonder. "That's cool....I always hoped that I could be as brave as the Gryffindors" She laughed.

"Yes as you said expelliarmus is a great spell but is used to disarm your oponents and since ghosts don't have wands i guess it won't work very well" she thought

Melania and Tiffany ended up laughing as soon as Tiffany ended her last question. "You were quite convincing there!" she laughed. "I stopped back in the middle section because it seemed rather crowded back here. I came anyway just to explore." She was starting to feel a little hungry. She embarrassingly asked, "Have you seen the snack lady?"

"Of course I will... be right back!" Jayden pocketed the coins. "I am excited... nervous about the sorting though... I want whatever is best for me.. but If i could pick... its either ravenclaw or gryffindor, be right back!"

Valeria suddenly realised her mistake and she blushed. "Oh my! That's right!" She laughed in embarassment. "Oh how silly of me! Of course not...." She covered her face as she felt it flame in shame.
