She smiled back "Hi, I'm Alex what's your name?" she asked

Erin noticed she actually looked at her foods. Did she not? Did! Didn't! Oh wo cares. What's the point. Actually, she brought it for them. "Want some?" she asked the three of them.

"Oh yeah? Well, I just had one and tasted like a rat. I couldn't even distinguished if it's spoiled or not," she laughed.

After awhile of reading and managing to memorize a couple of spells, Samuel decided he would look around the train a bit. Next door to his own compartment, he noticed one that seemed fairly full. He peeked his head into the room, "You guys do know that there are more compartments a bit farther back right?" he said with a grin.

"Hi, I'm Briley... are you a first year too?" she asked while taking a seat.

Jayden was deep in thought... suddenly she was startled by the sound of her hooting owl, snowflake. She looked up and saw two new people inside her compartment, a girl, and a tall boy.. She stood up to shake hands with them both. "Hi, I'm Jayden...this is my first year at Hogwarts." She flashed a smile at them both and motioned for them to sit down while she adjusted and made room for the two newcomers.

"Thanks but i'd rather pass you know, i had the misfortune of eating one that tasted like boogers" she made a funny face


"yes we all are" she said motioning to the rest of the girls in the compartment "everybody this is Briley"

This was really not going the way Mia had wanted it to. She had wanted to rant and rave. Maybe even kick something. Actually she probably wouldn't have kicked anything. She probably would have hurt her foot. And since when did Marie become all wise? "You're paying me back for all the times I gave you advice aren't you?" Merlin! Is that what she sounded like? "Yeah...well maybe but he sure couldn't wait to get my on the train." Yep she was in a mood. She was now twisting Nikolai's actions around.

Marie was right. She didn't want to hear how she was going to see Nik at Christmas and that the time would go by fast. Heck he'd only left twenty minutes ago and she missed him so much that she actually felt sick. And she had four more months of that before she got to see him again. Yeah, Mia didn't bother to respond to that.

Mia snorted. Her magic sucked and no one was going to convince her otherwise, well not while she was in this mood anyway. "Nik's going to do the magic side of it. I'm just going to carve the wood. With my hands. No magic." And if that didn't work out then she would go back to her pottery and sculpting. It's what she was happy doing.

Gah! Her friend was bringing up the friend things again. And yes she had to admit that Marie was probably right and that she might not see a lot of her friends again but she was sure that the ones that counted would still be around, right? She heaved another sigh because she could feel that Marie was slowly starting to win this argument.

Returning Marie's hug, Mia closed her eyes for a moment and let out a small sigh. "Fiiiiiine. I'll stay." She hadn't actually planned on going anywhere anyway. "But I may just whine about it every now and then."

That was fair, right?

Samuel, figuring he had nothing better to do decide to sit down in the crowded cabin. It was then that he realized he was the only guy in this cabin, not that it should matter much but he still felt slightly awkward, like he landed on a planet that was very much not his own.

"sure we know" she said smiling "but being separated is no fun!" "want to join us?" she asked the boy "i'm Alex by the way"

"Well hello, everyone! It's good to meet people finally... I've been so nervous. My older brothers had told me some real horror stories about Hogwarts... but I think they were just trying to scare me..." she glances at everyone, blushes, then smiles awkwardly.

"Oh hi!", then beamed at him. He remembered Stephen, the only guy he really had even talked to in the wizarding world. "I'm Erin," she didn't stretched out her hand like for the other girls.

"Hi there Briley! We saw you earlier."

"Eeew! EEeew! Really Alex!" then laughed her heart out.

"Samuel," he said after sitting down, "and hang with you guys ought to be more fun then reading school books," he said with a smile.

Tiffany grinned and nodded." Chocolate frog was my favourite!"she shouted happily. She jumped up and took one."Yum!It was great!"she said.

"Oh no! I hate ghosts! However, I was told at the Diagon Alley that ghosts are usual habitants at Hogwarts."

"I've been pretty nervous about Hogwarts as well, not because of horror stories though, just the whole sorting process and being away from home concept..." Jayden responded.

"Ewww!" Boogers? Really? Jayden thought to herself.

"Yes, I tend to wander around aimlessly at times..."

"Your brothers are wizards too then?" she asked

"You were already reading the school books? which subjects?" she asked interested

"Hey Briley! I am Tiffany and nice to meet you."she greeted her cheerfully and continued,"Actually I am a first year too. Come here and join us!"Tiffany gave her a big smile.

"I've heard so as well! And a poltergeist or two as well!"

"Thank you Tiffany! It's good to have a place to fit in!"

"Yeah, I heard that the Gryffindor house ghost is named nearly headless nick, and he... well the name should be pretty obvious," Samuel said.

"Yes. They've both already left Hogwarts though. The oldest is attempting to write a book. He travels a lot. The other is part of a unicorn preservation team."

"Ghosts!? I would be more afraid of werewolves and giant spiders!" Jayden responded nervously, while taking a chocolate frog from the candy pile.

She heard the boy introduce himself as Sameuel, flashing a smile she asked..

" Do you prefer being adressed as Sam or Samuel?"

"I was reading the charms book, mainly just trying to see what spells we may start with," Samuel said, "I was Actually going to read the DADA book before i heard all of you guys in here."

"Hi! I am Tiffany,"Tiffany greeted him politely and continued."You like reading books? It seems like you are a smart and hard-working person."she chuckled.
