"Chocolate Frogs and Ice Mice!" Jayden answered cheerfully.

Launna began walking along the train corridor, glancing left and right into each of the compartments. They all seemed to be full. Suddenly, she noticed one that was empty - well, nearly - a short boy with dark brown hair was sitting with his owl, reading a book. She hoped he wouldn't mind her coming in. She sighed and opened the door. 'Hi, can I sit here?' she asked awkwardly, indicating the seat opposite. Maybe he wanted a compartment to himself, she thought nervously. But she didn't know anyone here, and everywhere else was full...

"Yes i like chocolate frogs, sugar quills and.." she fell in silence because of the girl that just stepped in the compartment
"sure.. I'm Alex, this is Jayden and our friend Erin just went for food" "are you a first year too?" she asked

"It's nice meeting you too," he said, slowly as he was not used to people saying nice things to him. "R-Really? 'Cause it's not like if I saw much in there," he said, scratching the back of his neck. "Not that you don't have many things..." Argh! There he goes, babbling things again.


He ran his hand through his hair and tried his best to smile and not seem creepy. He was a total fail. "Potions, eh?" he said, deciding to put the spotlight on that rather than him. Plus, he's never done a potion in his life.

Kennedy then shook his head. This was always the confusing part. "I'm not in one, yet," he said, as his cheeks tinted pink. This was SO embarrassing!

Ash had actually stopped expecting anyone to come in. It wasn't that he thought there was any reason that they wouldn't; he'd just become very caught up in his reading, which kept his mind off of it. At any rate, it wasn't a problem or anything, so he didn't have a reason to think about it too much. If he had been expecting it, however, he wouldn't have been so startled that he nearly dropped his book when the compartment door opened.
Hoping to death that hadn't been noticed, because how uncool is that??, he shook his head, looking over at the other seat as though he thought maybe it would have an opinion on the matter.
"No one else's sitting there," he said, Scottish accent fairly thick. And the seat didn't seem to care either way, so he figured that was as good as an invitation to come on in.

Aurora grinned, "Yeah, best lesson! And the Potions Master is my head of house. But don't get on the wrong side of her..." Aurora said, giggling. Awww, he was all awkward... "Look at this!" Suddenly all full of life, she jumped up and opened her trunk, producing her Birthday Present and sitting back down. The Ancient Egyptian Grimoire glistened a little where there was still bits of gold leaf attached. "Look," she moved over to sit next to him and opened the book. Pointing at one of the little runes, she added, "They still use blue-moonstone in this! How cool is that!"

"Oh, that would be why I don't recognise you! Well, I hope you're in Slytherin, we're clearly the best. And we won the trifecta last term!" she said, still very proud.

"Yes! Of course! Come in!" Jayden said welcoming the girl, and flashing a kind smile.

"Yea. I am a first year and my name is Tiffany. You can call me Tif if you want," she grinned. She got settled with her luggage, leaving her lovely owl sitting besides her. She was glad that she finally got someone nice to chat with. She was being less nervous now and took a seat next to Jayden. She smiled and listened to what they were talking about.

Samuel ran onto the platform, glad that the train had not left yet, he felt sure that he was going to miss it. He put his luggage away and manage to find an empty room. He then counted what money he had, wondering what he could get from the trolley. But, deciding he would worry about that later, he opened one of his school books, knowing that if he read an extra bit now, then he might be able to stay on to of his assignments.

Launna grinned, relieved, and walked forwards to heave her trunk onto the luggage rack, trying to act as though she hadn't noticed the boy drop his book. She almost forgot to get out her wand, which she wasn't too sure what to do with. Do wizards and witches normally keep their wands with them all the time? she thought nervously. She finally decided to slip hers into her pocket and sat down on the seat, placing her owl next to her. 'I'm Launna,' she said. 'This is my first year at Hogwarts, even though I'm a fourth year. What about you?' The boy looked like a first year, but it was hard to tell.

Looking rather full, Erin went back to their compartment with some to share with her friends. As she walked on, o________O! She forgot where it is. She looked at every compartmet with two girls but she fails everytime. Then reaching the back of the train, there they are....

WITH another girl to her surprise! She carefully opened the compartment door since they hadn't notice she's back.

"Hi guys! Hi there," she looked at the girl beside Alex. She stretched her hand before moving to her seat by the window beside Jayden and said, "I'm Erin."

Tiffany was glad that everyone in this compartment was nice and friendly. It seemed like Jayden was a cheerful girl too, just like her. Tiffany thought that she would probably get along well with Jayden most throughout this ride.

Goosebumps ran through Kennedy's arms. He wouldn't want to get in no one's wrong side. Uh ugh, no more. He watched as she got up and came to sit next to him with a really interesting book. "That's so cool," he said, his eyes glued to it. He's never seen one of those before.

He figured what she was talking about must of have been really interesting because it got Aurora up and walking and talking, but he had no clue of what she was saying. "B-Blue-moonstone? he repeated, confused. The moon had blue stones? Since when?

Oh yeah, Slytherin. Kennedy grinned slightly and nodded his head. That was the last house he wanted to be in. Not because of it's history or the people related to that house, but because of his father.

"Ok Tif" she said smiling " we were talking about our favourite candy"

"Hey you are back!" "are you full? you took your time" she said laughing

Jayden was enjoying her time with these girls, and was thrilled to have found some really cool people to hang out with.

"Hey Erin! You made it back okay! Do you have any chocolate frogs to spare?" She asked politely.

Beverly who choose the end of the train looked for an empty compartment with difficulty cause every compartment are now full of students, luckily she found one just right at the end.. She pulls her trunk entered it at the compartment, sit down and wipe her sweat...
She was so very excited to go to Hogwarts...

Ashley had no idea what he was supposed to do with his wand. But he'd been waiting since he'd gotten it to be able to strap it on in its holster. It just seemed cool, even though he still wasn't allowed to use it. He'd never had a moment in his life where he didn't feel like a wizard, but having it actually on his person just solidified the whole idea. Also, it was cool. He watched the girl as she tried to figure out what to do with hers, not bothering to give her any advice. She should know, right? She certainly didn't seem like a first year.
And that was confirmed a moment later, so it was probably best that he hadn't said anything.

Instead he just nodded, a hint of a smile on his face. "I'm Ash. First year," he replied, eyebrows raised slightly. "Where did you go before now?" It was a valid question, wasn't it? Not too personal? Not that he was a great judge of what was personal or not. Even if it was too personal, he probably would have asked anyway.

Ivan climbed aboard the train and found an empty compartment in the back. He carried a few things in with him and everything else was with all the rest of the baggage. He took a set of robes with him so he could dress before arriving at Hogsmeade. Then he had his books to read and some galleons for something to eat. He took his seat and began to read once more.

"Hi! I am Tiffany! Nice to meet you!" Tiffany greeted Erin with a big smile on her face."It seems like Erin was a nice girl too!"she thought to herself. She looked at the snacks that Erin brought back and finally realised that she was hungry. She chuckled a bit of how clumsy Erin was with lots of snacks that she carried. She looked at the snacks.She really wanted to have some but she looked down again."It was impolite to take others' things without their permission.Besides I have just met them."She thought to herself.

"I know! It was a birthday present from one of my friends." she flicked through the pages. "I'm... not sure if I should be allowed it at school though." she added, shrugging. "It's not exactly curriculum. Look." She pointed to the title of a chapter. 'For Enemies.' "Though I guess if I'm not actually using it..." Yet...

Aurora nodded, "Yeah, it's really rare now, and a tiny bit dangerous." Yup, a tiny bit... "But you can still buy it in some places. It's almost never used any more..." She looked up at him. "Are you not a big potions fan?" she asked, tucking a long, red curl behind her ear.

She watched Kennedy's reaction... "Hey, come on, Slytherin's amazing! Don't look so... condescending" Was that the right word? "about it. Our common room's under the lake - you can see the Squid through the window sometimes, just swimming around." she grinned. He'd nodded and... smirked? A lot of people did that when she said she was in Slytherin. Oh well, she guessed he wouldn't be anyway. He was too nice...

"I did!" she laughed. "I actually ate there. So hungry to come back here at once. How long have I been gone? New friend came in!"
She looked really surprised. 3 girls now are considererd to be her friends!

"Maybe," she answered Jayden." I really don't know what they're called. But tehre's this thing that's called Bertie Bott thingy, it tasted like a rat. Eeeew!" she said shooking her head so hard.

"Bertie Bott's every flavour beans?!" "be careful of that erin" she said giggling "cause they come in litterally every flavour"

Briley blushed and smiled at the girl who had spoken. She nodded at the girl "Why yes, that would be lovely."

Marie gave Mia a look right back. Just like Mia did to her when she was the one whining about her problems. "Nik only wants what's best for you Mia." She may not have had the best impression of the guy when she met him over spring break but she could tell that he loved Mia and wanted what was best for her. "And... he's right. You will regret it later."

Listening to Mia's reasons for not wanting to come back to school Marie could totally sympathize with her on the not seeing her boyfriend part, but the rest...

Moving so she was now sitting next to Mia she put an arm around her. "I'm sorry you have to go another term without Nik by your side." Marie only had to suffer through a few weeks this summer without Matty and that was enough for her. She couldn't imagine going a whole term without him there with her. "I know you don't want to hear this but I'm gonna say it anyway... You'll be back with him before you know it. It's only a few months before Christmas break. You'll e seeing him then... right?" Heck, if she knew her friend at all she knew the girl would try to find a reason before Christmas to see Nik. Marie knew she would if she was in that situation. "As for you sucking at magic... I know that's a lie. Sure, you may not be the best at it but you don't suck." Marie hadn't seen her set anything on fire in a long time. "And what do you mean a muggle profession? I didn't realize going into the wand business was a muggle profession." No, the last she had checked that was a very magical profession.

"Come on Mia. Do you honestly think everyone is going to stay in contact after graduation?" Marie highly doubted it. She already had a feeling she would never hear from Evan again... even though he promised to stay in contact with her.

She didn't bother commenting on Mia's last comment. She figured that she would just make her friend feel even worse than she already does if she said anything about being right. Instead she just gave her a hug.

Launna noticed that the boy had a holster for his wand and was instantly jealous. She'd wanted one but... she just hadn't had enough galleons for it. Mind you, that was her own fault for way overspending at Quality Quidditch Supplies. But then, she could deal with keeping her wand in her pocket if it meant she got a firebolt, right?

When the boy spoke to her, she saw from his expression that he, like everyone else she'd met in the wizarding world, was wondering why she hadn't gone to Hogwarts before now.

'I went to a muggle school before now,' she said in reply to his question. 'It was rubbish.' She may as well be truthful. 'It wasn't that I couldn't do magic or anything... it was because my mum didn't want me to. I eventually convinced her to send me here. It was awful, having to learn about boring muggle subjects like Maths and P.E. when I knew that I could be doing something like Arithmancy or Quidditch.'

She suddenly realised that she'd probably said too much and shut up straight away. What does this guy care? she thought to herself. It was just that she was so angry about missing out on three years at Hogwarts that she felt as though she deserved a bit of a rant.
