She genuinely smiled at the two of them. They didn't care where she ended up to as long as they were together

She couldn't suppress a laugh now "Well i guess that's part of the mom jobs"

Okay, she was sat up against the wall, this was alright... Okay... breathe. He watched as the boy... what was his name..? Did she know..? She couldn't bring it to mind... they'd probably never met. Gooooood this was so embarrassing... She watched him open her trunk, hopefully he'd find it pretty quickly, she usually kept painkillers close to hand; they were always useful.

Ah, "Y-yes." Aurora took the bottle and peered at it carefully; always necessary to check. She somehow managed to flick the stopper out and drank the potion. Oh... she closed her eyes as a cold, liquid sensation flooded through her head, cooling the pain and soothing it until it was almost entirely gone. She sighed, "Th-thank you..." Her shoulders relaxed as her breathing became steady again.

She somehow managed to haul herself up to a seat and sit down. "I'm Aurora by the way," She rubbed her forehead. "Um, sorry about this... what's your name?" Fainting? Seriously? SHE fainted? She was pretty astonished to be honest. Aurora Stewart-Quinn was NOT faint hearted...

Oh.

It was that... thing. She made a mental note not to inhale dangerous things again.

What else was there to do? Already Ash's parents had found that now that the waving was over with, they had no reason to remain and had left. And it turned out that he was better at staring contests than he'd thought he was. Or perhaps it was just because birds weren't very good at them. Either way, he'd won, and found himself denied a rematch.
There had to be something else to do. What did kids normally do here? He scootched over and peeked out again, only to find less empty compartments than before. So that answered that question. They all had friends to talk to on the way. Well, it wasn't his fault that he didn't have any yet, was it?
Reading. That's what he would do, then. Picking out a random book, he settled back on his seat and began some early studying.

"Kay. So getting into a certain house can run in your family?" Temperance asks, she happens to still have one hand gently grasping her necklace and she smiles a little as she realizes that the trains are similar to the trains back home yet they're different at the same time. Temperance then quietly sighs as she thinks about how much she misses her home.

"Soo... what classes are you guys most looking forward to taking this year?" She asked with genuine curiousity.

"I so agree." She felt so relieved that Jayden called her a friend. Finally, she's got friend that are wizards. She's got friends at Hogwarts. She's so happy.

"Well, I pity her, " then laughed as soon as she hears Alex laughed too.
She sighed and thought to herself, I really found real friends here.

Oh no! She thought to herself. "So you mean, we're choosing! they don't give us?" she was really shocked to hear this. How is she going to choose if she doesn't know anything about magic or wizards. She's panicking now.

"Everything really.. but the ones i'm really looking forward to are Transfigurations, Defence against dark arts and Charms" she answered enthusiastically "what about you Erin have you heard about Hogwarts classes before?"

"Now don't worry too much we're not having optional classes in a couple of years" she said smiling

Kennedy nodded and sat across from her. Thank goodness he got the right bottle. "No problem," he said, still watching her for if she toppled over anytime. "I'm Kennedy," he answered.

"Are you alright?" he asked when he finally gained his voice.

He wondered why she had fainted. What if there was a crazy loose wizard zapping people on the train? Oh gosh, he wasn't ready for that.

"I'm really looking forward to Transfigurations, Charms, and Potions." Jayden said with a smile.

"Oh goodness! Well, whenever I needed help, would you mind giving me a hand?" she said as if she'd really known them two forever then chuckled.

Well, she's really not embarasses in front of them now, They've talked a lot and shared their thoughts and ideas. She just hopes, this year won't be too harsh for her...and to her friends.

"It can be. I think the Sorting Hat uses past generations to also determine what house you're in. My parents we're in Slytherin and a long time ago they told me that practically our whole family has been in Slytherin." Chelsea said. It felt weird to talk about her parents. She really never did anymore because of what happened when she was 9 years old.

She began to think of that night 2 years ago. A few aurors showed up at her house she didn't know why or who they were. When they got into the house they immediately went after her parents. Then they took her to her aunt and uncles house. The next day she found out she wouldn't see them again.

She felt a few tears starting to fall. She stopped her self from crying before it became too noticeable.

"Yeah.. don't worry bout it! No optional classes for a while." Jayden said kindly.

Uh-Oh

Marie knew that look. She'd had that look many times herself. That was a look of depression if she ever saw one... and yes, she had seen that look several time before... on herself.

Sitting across from Mia she pulled her legs up under her and looked at her friend for a minute. "Why don't you want to go back to school? And who's forcing you to go?"

Did Marie have any idea what it was like to be forced to go to school when she didn't want to? Oh yeah she did. Memories of her summer before fourth year played over in her head. "Yeah, I do know what it's like and to be honest, I'm glad I was forced to go back." She wanted to be home schooled but her parents and Lawson made her go back. Of course now she was glad they made her do it, she just wouldn't admit it to them. "Why don't you want to go back? It's out last year. We may never see our friends again after this year."

Their last year.

Hearing herself say that out loud made it even more real for Marie. This was the last time she was going to ride this train to school for the start of term. She wasn't ready for this. She wasn't ready to have to say good-bye to all her friends.

Oh Merlin. Why did she have to grow up?

"yesss! i can't wait really" she said in excitement

"Of course i'll help if you need it but i'm sure we are all going to be just fine" she said confidently

"Nice to meet you..." she said, smiling a little. "Sorry about the bottle thing.. I know there are like... a million of them in my trunk. They're not all medicine by the way, I like potions..." she added.

"Yeah, I think so. I just, a little potion malfunction." she said. That was the easiest and least suspicious way of putting it.

"So, what house are you in?" she asked, wishing she had a drink... maybe she'd get some pumpkin juice when the food lady came round.

These girls! She can't believe it. Jayden believes in her. "Thanks a lot!" she said. Her confidence is just boosted up. Suddenly a loud roaring of her came out from her stomach. Oh no! She's hungry. She realized she'd not eaten before boarding the train. They looked at each other then laughed.

"Okay. That's interesting, what does it do if you're a muggleborn?" Temperance asks as she glances as Chelsea. "Is everything okay? I thought I saw some tears fall, I mean you don't have to answer if you don't want too." she says rather nervously, talking to people about there feelings is something Temperance has never been good at.

Marilyn boarded the train...looking for no one in particular. It'd been a long summer, but one of her lightest to date. Carter and his family had been wonderful and they'd treated her great. It was sad to leave them, yes...but at the same time, grateful. Because of them, she could face her last year...almost carefree...

Almost.

Walking down the corridor, she spotted some guy loaded down with bags...

"Where's Evie?" Not wasting time, she pulled her own bag up, spying an empty compartment. Opening the door, she threw it in. "Would you like to put some of those bags down?"

"I think we can safely asume you are hungry?!" Alex said in between laughes "There's a food trolley you know in case you want to buy anything"

Mia gave her friend a 'look'. Who else would be forcing her to go back to school? "Nik of course. He says I'll regret it." Pfft...hadn't she told him on many occasions that life was too short for regrets. Deep down she knew he was right but right now she felt like being a brat about it. She'd never asked for much.

Okay this wasn't going the way Mia wanted it to. She hadn't expected Marie to know about being forced into coming back to school. This was supposed to be her turn to pout, throw tantrums and just be angsty. She had never been angsty before, she was entitled to be NOW!!

Waving her hand in Marie's direction, totally dismissing what her friend had just said. Well that was all good that Marie was glad that she came back didn't mean Mia had to feel the same. "Why don't I want to go back?" She had thought the answer rather obvious. "Well let's see. This will be yet another year I will not get to see Nik. I totally suck at magic." Which was not exactly true. "I intend on taking on a muggle profession so it's kinda redundant to return and learn something I'll probably never really use and...and..." She couldn't think of anymore excuses because Marie had just brought up the whole friends thing.

"Of course we'll still see our friends." she scoffed as though that was just a ridiculous thought. When in fact she had no idea whether that was true. Especially considering her and Nik intended to travel once she had graduated. Mia bit on her lip and slumped back into the seat. "I really hate it when other people are right."

"Yes! The food trolley!" Jayden said in between giggles.

she giggled "any favourite candy?" said asking her friends

"Well, I've leave you two in a minute and find the trolley," she said and walked out of the room leaving her cat behind.

Finally...finally, Tiffany could take a ride on the Hogwarts Express. It's so close to her dream of studying at Hogwarts that she couldn't believe all those things that she had been through. She was extremely nervous because being a first year student, she was not familiar with all the things and people here. She didn't have any friends. She walked through the corridor and tried to find an empty compartment for her to get settled down but there wasn't any. There were people chit-chatting in all of the compartments. She didn't know what to do. She headed to one of the compartments. She stepped in and asked with a big smile on her face,trying to be cheerful as she always was, "Hi! May I sit with all of you?" She smiled and waited for a response.
