She giggled lightly. "Now I'm even more excited I really really want to get to classes…especially charms and I can't wait to see where the sorting hat places me. It is a hat right cause I heard some people earlier talking about fighting a troll." the small girl said looking nervous again.
To be honest, I kinda liked Potions and Herbology out of every other class she said. When Violet mentioned people saying that you had to fight a troll to be sorted, Lysandra let out a laugh. Fighting a troll, huh? Well, I think if we had to fight a troll, a lot of us wouldn't be here, but just to make you feel better, yes it is a hat she answered. Which house are you hoping to be sorted in? Lysandra couldn't help but ask.
Maria shook her head sadly. "I wish I was" she said softly.
Mikey sighed and lent forward putting his head in his hands. Justin wasn't gonna take this well.

"Yeah, it is neat, I especially like the music note engraving. I wish I did know how I did that, because it would be cool to live music every where I go!" Temperance says with a smile "Hopefully we're going to get there soon. Yeah the Hogsmeade trips sound fun, I can't wait check out the different stores." she says "Are they going to be every weekend?"
"I'm not sure they might be every other weekend but I hope there every weekend. Yeah I can't wait to visit all the stores either. I heard they have a music shop, a clothing shop, a salon, a joke shop, and a lot of other stores. Thats also where the Shrieking Shack is too I think" she said. She probably wont be visiting the shrieking shack though.

'I'm sewing,' she said to the other girl with a smile. She wondered how she'd not known that. Surely everyone knew what sewing was, even if they'd never actually done it? But still. 'The sleeves on my new robes were a bit long, so I thought I'd take them up a little bit,' she added in explanation. 'And of course I don't mind! I'm Gaby, by the way. Gaby Parker. What's your name?'

Before he went to retrieve it, however, he'd decided to go ahead and change into his robes, having gotten a second/third/fourth/whateverhand snippet of a mention that people were beginning to do that now when he was peeking out of his compartment.
Locating the clothing, he ducked back into his seat, sort of wondering if it would be alright to change there. It wasn't as though he had to get naked or anything, having thought ahead enough that he didn't have much clothing to exchange, but some people got uncomfortable about changing shoes around other people. He didn't care, though, and so he just quickly swapped the clothing he needed to, putting away what he had been wearing before finding his book and sitting back down. As he opened up the book, he couldn't help but smile a little. One more step closer, that was. Soon he'd be at school.
Gaby glanced out through the compartment door and saw a boy, who looked about the same age as her, sitting by himself. Well, that wasn't right! No one should have to sit by themselves on the way to their first day at Hogwarts. It would be boring - there was no one to be excited with! She smiled at the girl and stood up, pushing the door back. 'I'll be back in just a sec,' she told her, and slipped out, walking across into the boy's compartment.
'Hi,' she said brightly, waving. 'I was just wondering - cause you look sort of lonely - if you'd like to come and sit with me and my friend in our compartment?' she asked, hoping that she didn't seem weird. She was just nice! Well, and maybe a bit weird too, but no one needed to know that.

"Knock knock," Mickey said knocking on the side of the compartment door. "Miss me while I got lost on this fabulous train Fai, dahling?" She asked hiding the awkward feeling she was inturupting something.
"Oh Mickey you so fine, you so fine you blow my mind, hey Mickey!" Faina grinned. "Mick, this is Caelius. Caelius, this is Mickey."

"So, have you heard anything interesting lately? Because if you haven't, I just so happened to read the most thrilling article in the Daily Prophet I received earlier. Look at this," he handed her the paper he'd pulled from his robes, pointing out the article in question: 'Headmaster Headache at Hogwarts'.
"Seems we'll be taught by some rather unqualified individuals this term. I'm absolutely riddled with anticipation," he quipped sardonically.
Faina grinned, "I read this earlier today. And i kind of doubt they will really be that unqualified. Probably the Daily Prophet had nothing to write about so they made up some trash to please the readers." Faina then remembered they were in the presence of company, "Oh! Caeli! This is my friend Mickey!"

"I'm Arianna, Arianna Upward." She replied. "You are doing a good job. Is sewing something you enjoy doing?" Arianna asked. Without much pause Arianna continued she didn't know what to say, so she just began to ramble uncontrollably. All she thought was someone stop me. "I've attempted but utterly failed, my mother though is very good. Always been a bit envious of her skills. It seems you were gifted." Arianna smiled. All she wanted was a friend.
"Oh Mickey you so fine, you so fine you blow my mind, hey Mickey!" Faina grinned. "Mick, this is Caelius. Caelius, this is Mickey."

"Nice to meet y'all," Mickey saluting the boy. "It doesn't really matter if they're qualified or not, it really all comes down to the student. I looked up some history a little while ago and it said that when Harry Potter went to school at hogwarts they refused to teach DADA so the kids took it upon themselves to learn." She sprawled hereself across the seat and used her bag as a pillow.

"My uncle told me that the Shrieking Shack is like the most haunted house in London. Not even the Hogwarts ghosts will go there he told me." she said.

Ashley didn't mind too much sitting alone. He did many, many things alone. Besides, he figured he was bound to make a friend or two at school at least. That didn't mean that he wasn't bored, though. The book was somewhat interesting, and it was probably good to get some early studying in, but he wouldn't mind trying to have a conversation with someone.
Trying being the operative word there. Conversation wasn't one of his strong points. Still, didn't seem bothered at all when the girl showed up suddenly, just giving her a questioning look until she was done speaking.
"Ah, sure, that sounds fine," he said, getting up and putting his book away. Still... "I look lonely? Really?" That didn't sound good. He didn't want to sit around looking desperate or anything. That was just embarrassing.
"My uncle told me that the Shrieking Shack is like the most haunted house in London. Not even the Hogwarts ghosts will go there he told me." she said.
"Wow! I wonder what happened to make it that haunted." Temperance says "I've always found ghosts and haunted buildings to be interesting. I guess it's because Chicago has a lot of haunted buildings and ghosts." she says
Adam looked at Louisa, reading the seriousness in her tone. He understood that she was doing it because she wanted to, but at the same time Adam couldn't really help how he felt. Perhaps a part of him was just used to doing this whole thing on his own, and the idea of doing it with someone else was just...foreign. He gave her a little smile as she said it was his first time walking in with a friend. "I hope so too," Adam added at the end, more to himself than Louisa.
JB let out a bark, and looked at Adam...he was definitely thirsty. Reaching up into the carriage compartment Adam pulled down his black back pack, pulling out the bowl he had bought with Louisa in Diagon Alley and a bottle of water. He set the bowl down on the seat, scooting over so there was room, and poured some of the water into it. He watched as JB somewhat climbed out of Louisa's arms and started drinking. He looked at Louisa as she commented that he was great and gave her another little smile. "Um...thanks...you're great too." Adam meant it from one friend to another, and he hoped that Louisa noticed that was the way he meant it. After all that switch was still firmly in place.
Adam gave a little nod of the head...of course her things were with Joao, but that was nice that she had come to see him. Adam shot a look out the window again, understanding what she meant. "Yeah...I know what you mean. I'm sure some of the other people I've met are out there, but it's just too overwhelming to go out and try and find people."
Louisa watched JB drinking and she smiled instinctively. It was really cute to see a puppy making a mess just by a silly small act. "He's thirsty. Did you have any trouble keeping him?[/b]" She looked up at Adam. He hadn't told her whether he lived in a rent apartment on his own or with a friend. An apparating dog was definitely a challenge if you lived with a muggle. Louisa would've kept the dog had she not been in the Leaky Cauldron, but again Adam might be quite cool with the dog around.
"Have you? Did you meet anyone from your year?" They could plan to study together, that person might benefit Adam more than Louisa could've. "Or anyone at all?" Her eyebrows furrowed slightly, she didn't remember Adam telling her whether he met anyone going to Hogwarts or not. he did know Joao's name since she told him about him but did he meet any other students?

Arianna watched as Gaby went to greet a boy in the compartment across from theirs. Arianna picked up only slightly on what was being spoken. Although one thing in particular sutck out of all the words Gaby had spoken. 'me and my friend'. This made Arianna blush, she was so excited to be considered of anything a friend.
Maria sniffled. "Y-y-y-you don't know that" she said, her voice shaking.
Mikey put an arm around Maria. "Yes I do, she's a fighter" he replied.

Adam reached into his bag at the sight of the spilled water and pulled out a little towel. And of course the towel had 007 written across it. Perhaps Adam had taken the theme too far, but it just seemed appropriate all things considered. "Luckily my parents were out when I brought him home," Adam said while wiping up the puppy's mess. "I built him a little bed in my closet, which has a little window that over looks our backyard. I stay in my room with him out most of the time, but when my parents are home and they need me I put him in there." Adam was glad the closet was big and had a window, because he could open the window and let fresh air in for the dog. "He usually sleeps in my bed with me though," Adam said, giving the dog a pleasant little smile. JB really was his little companion.
"I did actually," Adam said with a little nod of the head, while shoving the towel back into his backpack. JB seemed to be finished so Adam took the bowl and put it back into the bag as well. "I met a girl named Ellie Stone whose also in Ravenclaw, and a girl named Amy Samson whose in Hufflepuff if I am remembering correctly." Honestly the two of them had spent more time talking about candy than anything, but he had enjoyed her company nevertheless. Adam had also met both Ellie and Dallin at platform waiting to get onto the train, but Adam figured that wasn't really worth bringing up. After all Adam was sure Louisa was still trying to figure that whole situation out, so it was best to just let that tid bit be until he figured out where Louisa and Dallin stood. "I also met another boy named Paulie...he's really nice."

"I'm curious too maybe I'll look it up at the library at Hogwarts. It is kind of interesting especially since the Hogwarts ghosts won't even go there...and their ghosts" she said.
"Yeah it would be neat to know why they don't go there. Maybe whatever happened is keeping the ghosts of Hogwarts from going there." Temperance says.

"maybe...it's interesting I wonder if they will teach us about it in any classes". Chelsea was wondering how much longer till they got to Hogwarts she was starving. She reached in her bag and pulled out two Cauldron Cakes. "Do you want a Cauldron Cake?" She asked Temperance. OOC: Ok
Olivia heard her stomach give a loud rumble and decided that it was about time for her to go in search of some food. She left the people in her compartment and walked out into the corridor to find the food trolley, it wouldn't take long and then she she'd be back on her seat.
