"That's a very beautiful wand. I like the colors of the wood and the handle." Temperance says."Cool. Wow! I made a jet of fire with the first wand I tried and the second wand, which turned out to be my wand, created a very, very interesting and funny result." she says, laughing as she remembers what happened.

Cael stiffened with a small frown as Faina wrapped her arms around him. Again. Were all Malfoys this touchy? This had to have been the second or third time now, not to mention that kiss from earlier... Urgh, he could feel his face redden slightly as he played it back in his mind.

"Do you, by any chance, have a hugging-people-thing?" Cael sighed, reluctantly returning her embrace. He wasn't much of a physical contact person. After his parents had died, he'd flatly refused any sort of comfort from his guardians; it felt too much like dishonoring his parents' memory.

"Who else have you been terrorizing, or should I call it man-handling?" he asked with a roguish grin. "We must be nearly there, I imagine. I've already changed into my robes, so I'm hoping it won't be much longer."

Er, were they still hugging? Dear Merlin...

"I only had to try one wand. When I picked it up I knew it would be my wand. What happened with your wand?" she asked. She was curious to know it seemed like a funny story since she saw Temperance laughing.

"I'm gonna hug you every time I see you, just so you get use to my 'man-handling.' You see, my parents didn't really show much affection towards me. There was the usual bedtime kiss but that stopped about a year ago. So since I didn't get enough affection and love, I decided other people should get what I never had." Faina shrugged. Truth was, Faina had never told anyone about her parents lack of love towards her. It felt good to let someone know. She slowly released Caelius from her grasp.

Simon smilled at Kurumi. "It is beautiful." He smiled. "I love walking around when I am alone." He then realised she might want to go one day. "Next summer you should come and visit that way you can see for myself." He was hoping she would accept his offer.

"You should play Exploding snap, you need to have some fun sometimes." Simon wanted to spend sometime with Kurumi and so he was going to beg her to play a game with him. "That's boring I'm sure they will know."

Arianna pulled her watch out from her bag, looking at the time.
Nearly there! Maybe i should stick my head out. She thought.
Arianna did as she thought, sticking her head out but thought it were best to change into her robes first.
After she was fully dressed and everything was packed away she stuck her head out again. She saw someone walking towards this part of the train, Arianna smiled at the stranger before feeling foolish and immeaditaly hurrying back into her compartment.
I am so silly She thought.

It take's her a few minutes to stop laughing but when she does, "Lucky, I noticed whan I was waiting in line that that didn't seem to happen very often." Temperance says. "Well I waved the wand and had gotten embarressed when nothing seemed to have happened." she says with a smile. "I looked down at my feet, and that was when I saw that something had happened. I saw a bunch of mini guitars, with arms and legs, running around playing themselves." Temperance says as she starts laughing again. After a few more minutes of laughter, "I thought it was cool because I play the guitar and I love music, so it just seemed to fit me! I still don't know exactly where they came from or anything like that, but I do wonder." she says.

Maria sighed and made her way to the last compartment. She flopped into the seat and put her head against the window, her eyes searching the wood around the window for something. She found it quickly and her fingertip rubbed the small, barely noticeable mark in the wood. AWC. Just that.

What Maria wouldn't give to have Ad there again.

"I see..." Cael replied lamely, sifting one hand through his hair to give himself time to think of an appropriate response. So they were the same then.

"I can't say I've never had love," Cael started hesitantly, "Merlin knows Amelia and Marcus have tried to drown me with it over the years, but when that didn't work they started trying to buy my affection. I hardly remember my parents, but I think... they would have hugged me the same way you do," he smiled somewhat sadly.

Bending at the waist he kissed her lightly atop the head. "If you want my affection, you may hug me as much as you'd like," Cael promised.

Mikey made his way down the train looking for an empty compartment. Yeah, he was only after one in particular. The same one he was always in. He finally reached it and saw Maria sat down. He smiled slightly. Not exactly that excited to be away from his family again but it meant an entire year with Maria, right? That was most definitely a good thing. He walked through the door and sat down opposite Maria. "Hey" he said.

Arianna was sitting watching the scenery that was out past her reach. She longed for the time when they would finally reach hogwarts.

Chelsea starts laughing with Temperance "Nice. Thats great everything about your wand is like personalized. That would be so awesome too bad you don't know how you did that because you could have live music where ever you go!"

Chelsea finally got her self together after laughing "I wonder when we're going to get there it was awhile ago when prefects told us to put on our robes. Are you looking forward to the weekend hogsmeade trips? I am."

Maria turned quickly, her newly cut hair falling a little in her face. "Hey" she said, turning back to Ad's initials craved in the wood. "You know how Ad got better, right?" she asked.

Rose laughed, looked from side to side, then whispered; 'Tergeo!' she looked on, feeling proud as the vomit siphoned itself off. She thought about using it on her face, but it would just be replaced with new blood...

Faina blushed as he kissed the top of her head. "I'll hold you to that," Faina meant it to sound joking, but she realized, she actually meant it. She did want his affection. She guessed he had been devoid of physical contact for quite some time. And that's when she decided that she would make up for the years he lost.

Mikey smiled properly. She looked so pretty with her hair the way it was. But then the conversation turned to Ad. "Yeah" he replied.

Robes. She needed to change into her robes... Gaby rummaged around in her trunk - which was ridiculously heavy, in case you wanted to know - and grabbed them from the very bottom, underneath all her other stuff. That was good planning... not. Whoopsies. At least she was already wearing the rest of her uniform; skirt, white shirt, black combat boots. Yup, combat boots. It might sound weird to other people, but they were her favourite shoes and there was no way she was going to wear some stupid shiny pumps like everyone else.

Pulling her robes on over the top, she frowned a little. Her aunt had insisted on buying them a little too big, and the sleeves were too long for her. She wondered if she could sew them up or something... she liked to sew. She even made her own clothes occasionally. Pulling them back off again, she sat down and took her sewing kit from her bag. Time to fix some sleeves.

"Yeah, it is neat, I especially like the music note engraving. I wish I did know how I did that, because it would be cool to live music every where I go!" Temperance says with a smile "Hopefully we're going to get there soon. Yeah the Hogsmeade trips sound fun, I can't wait check out the different stores." she says "Are they going to be every weekend?"

Maria's finger fell away from the carving. "She fell ill again...not as bad as last time but still" she said.

Arianna was getting bored sitting here by herself so she decided to go for a little wonder. She was looking in on all the compartments when she noticed one girl who had appeared to be sewing, what she did not know. Curious, she knocked on the door and came and sat opposite her. "Hello. What is it you are doing? If you don't mind me asking." Arianna Said with a big smile on her face.

"Knock knock," Mickey said knocking on the side of the compartment door. "Miss me while I got lost on this fabulous train Fai, dahling?" She asked hiding the awkward feeling she was inturupting something.

Cael smirked and rolled his eyes at Faina's joking tone, flicking her lightly on the shoulder in retaliation. "Mm-hmm, You do that," he replied facetiously. Never let it be said he didn't enjoy their banter; he was a Ravenclaw, after all.

"So, have you heard anything interesting lately? Because if you haven't, I just so happened to read the most thrilling article in the Daily Prophet I received earlier. Look at this," he handed her the paper he'd pulled from his robes, pointing out the article in question: 'Headmaster Headache at Hogwarts'.

"Seems we'll be taught by some rather unqualified individuals this term. I'm absolutely riddled with anticipation," he quipped sardonically.

Mikey's jaw hit the floor. W-w-w-what? "You're joking, right?" he replied not wanting to believe it.

Since his conversation seemed to have died, Ashley had decided to go for a walk, peering out into the corridor for a moment to assess the situation out there. Honestly, the idea of becoming crowded by a lot of people worried him, though. Maybe he would find something else to do. He did still have that book.
Before he went to retrieve it, however, he'd decided to go ahead and change into his robes, having gotten a second/third/fourth/whateverhand snippet of a mention that people were beginning to do that now when he was peeking out of his compartment.
Locating the clothing, he ducked back into his seat, sort of wondering if it would be alright to change there. It wasn't as though he had to get naked or anything, having thought ahead enough that he didn't have much clothing to exchange, but some people got uncomfortable about changing shoes around other people. He didn't care, though, and so he just quickly swapped the clothing he needed to, putting away what he had been wearing before finding his book and sitting back down. As he opened up the book, he couldn't help but smile a little. One more step closer, that was. Soon he'd be at school.

Maria shook her head sadly. "I wish I was" she said softly.
