Caroline looked around at the goup again, before her eyes darted to a voice that spoke first, Marliyn's. Her blue eyes scanned her cousin, as she asked if she wanted to sit down. Thinking about how much more arkward it could get. She shrugged slightly. "Okay, sure." But she wasn't sure if she was sure.
And then the boy that she didn't know introduced himself. With a small smile as he offered a butterbeeer "I'm Caroline Scott. Nice to meet you." As she took the seat that he offered to her.
"Everyone's summer good?" She addressed the group so if someone wanted to respon they could. This was definitely more awkard then the two weeks in Africa with a guy the confessed his feelings to her and her not knowing what to think about it. Yep that was even worse the that.
Rafe couldn't help, but noticed the looks that took place between Marilyn and Caroline. There was a lot of tension, but why? Rafe just shrugged it off. Maybe he'd get the opportunity to ask Marilyn later. They did smell similar...hmm...she probably had Malfoy blood in her. It was the only explanation. "Summer?" Rafe smiled. "It was probably the best summer of my life!" That was a bit of an understatement. "Did some travelling...a castle in Romania, Paris, Dublin, Glasgow..." Deep sigh. "I'd like to think it was a job well done. And I like to think I met someone who is like a brother to me now. Great chap, we'll be staying in touch." Rafe raised his eyebrows and then looked at the sister of the man he just talked about.

*cough*"I, um, had an amazing summer." Marilyn bit her lip, thinking about Nahoon Beach and those ridiculous sea shells she and Anya had found. Carter had not been any help...just laughed at them. "I was in very good company." The smirk came before she could stop it.
"Oh wow! Was that Marilyn Elizabeth Force coming to my defense? I'm shocked!" Rafe was being very theatrical and wasn't at all serious. But, it felt nice just to hear her angelic voice. He gave her a little bow before listening to her summer.
"Good company? Are you talking about Carter? He told me he was going to invite you to spend the summer with his family and have some muggle quality time!" And that was definitely going to get a reaction from Marilyn. Of course he knew she spent the summer with Carter, it was his idea after all, for her protection. Rafe even had her followed for most of it, again for her protection, so he knew almost every detail. Larentia, Randall and Kurt had been very discrete to his knowledge. He took another sip of butterbeer. He didn't understand why she was beating around the bush when it came to explaining her summer. Though technically he was doing the same, but he wanted to share the details more privately with Marilyn alone.

"Given that you are being raised by people who are the opposite of your parents means you probably never will end of like them because of the positive influence that your aunt and uncle provide. I can't even imagine what it must have been like for you before you went to live with your aunt and uncle but I'm glad you did." she says "I take it blood purity is a pretty big deal?" she asks.
Chelsea knew Temperance was a good friend. "Their main priority is to search for dark wizards. Yeah Azkaban is a high security prison guarded by dementors."
"I feel lucky to be raised by my aunt and uncle. I conceder them my parents they also think of me as their daughter since they never had kids. My parents were not good people at all. Like I said if they were to see me now I'd be a disappointment and a blood traitor in their eyes. It's not like they physically treated me badly they just never took much interest in me unless I was doing something they thought was acceptable. It's not very common anymore but there are still some pure bloods who think their the superiors. Back during the second wizarding war it was a huge deal though."

Surprised suddenly Surya noticed that someone has woken up. He began "Sorry if we woke you up. I did not notice i was speaking so loud!"

"Okay, that sounds similar to the police in the muggle world. They do more than catch criminals, they patrol dangerous area's, solve crime's, ect. The dementors don't sound like a good thing." Temperance says. "That's nice that they consider you their daughter. I'm sorry that your parent's were never interested in spending with you unless you were doing something they wanted, they should have spent time with you regardless." she says. "Okay, well there are some people like that in America too, even though they aren't as common as they once were. Oh I read a bit about that in the history book, didn't get very far in though. I like history too, certain topics more than others." Temperance says.

"I was speaking matter-of-factly about the Carter thing and if you're upset about my little performance about what you said, then I'd really like to know where your sense of humor ran off to, so I can quickly go and find it." Sheesh. Rafe was being as normal as possible. What was up with her? "Is there something you want to talk to me about? Cause we can step outside if you'd like?"
