Back of the Train There's plenty of seating at the back of the train. Grab a compartment with your friends. The train is about to depart. |
Woohooo! Off to Hogwarts! YEEEAH! Kana calmly and quickly made her way to the back of the train, moving out of the way on oncoming people. Getting a compartment was madness. Luckily, she was one of the first people to board the train. She wore dark skinny jeans and her trademark black hoodie. On her feet were black tennis shoes; The only thing that wasn't dark about this girlw as her skin and her hair, which had been dyed a bright neon-red and stuck out in a bit of a poof around her neck. In one hand, she had a small cage; The rest of her luggage had been stowed away safely. In the case was a pigeon instead of what would normally be an owl. Kannalynne easily found an empty compartment and settled herself inside, setting the cage on the seat next to her. Sighing, she reached a hand into the front pocket of her hoodie and pulled out a black and white ferret, that quickly began jumping back and forth over Kana's lap, then hid back in her pocket. Putting one earbud of her charmed muggle MP3 player in an ear, Kana waited. Just waited. |
Alex entered the compartment trying to hide her enthusiasm to look more mature. She looked through the window... her parents weren't there. It was obvious after all he was never the kind father and her mother would do whatever he asked her to... so she suposed he had asked her not to come. She spaced out wondering if maybe she had came too early and what else should she expect in the near future... |

Jesifur stirred a bit and saw a small girl collapsed across from her, she wonder when the girl had come in, she had dozed off for a moment. |
Cael huffed in annoyance as he pushed his way past children milling about in the corridor. Really, the train was about to leave. Couldn't they find their seats and be done with it? Squeezing past a rather tall boy Cael managed to wrench open the door to an empty compartment and fell gracefully onto one of the benches. "Finally..." he groaned rubbing his shoulder tiredly before smoothing his hands over his dove grey robes. It wouldn't do to wrinkle them before he'd had a chance to change into his Hogwarts robes. Reaching for the clasp near his throat, Cael gently undid it with deft fingers allowing Jupiter to stick his nose out with a curious huff. "Here then," he coaxed the ebony ferret from around his shoulders allowing it to settle regally atop his lap with a small roll of his eyes. The creature really was a bit much sometimes, he conceded mentally as he stroked its ebony fur mindlessly. Heaven forbid the first child who tried to touch Jupiter, Cael had a feeling they'd need an older year to reattach their fingers before they arrived. Settling into the plush velvet of the bench Cael eyed the door languorously, waiting to see if anyone else would join him. He hoped the candy lady would be by soon... |
James walks the hallway of the train when he comes upon a compartment with two girls sleeping. One of the girls stirred when he opened the door and rolled over so he could see her face. Who should it be but Jesifur, the girl he met at Ollivander's (and again at Madam Malkins). He entered and sat down anxious to continue getting to know this fellow first year. When she turns to look at him he introduces himself again to her. "Hi There. Do you remember me from Ollivander's?" |

"So, hi Alex. Are you a pure witch?" she asked to end the silence at the compartment. She's a shy girl but she talks a lot sometimes. It just takes quite of getting into. |

This was where things got exciting again. Ash had left his father and mother on the platform and made his way to a compartment. Perhaps he'd been in a bit too much of a hurry, as he was still able to find an empty one in a good position to be able to see his parents still standing by. He'd expected that they'd be filling up too fast to be able to get a good spot, but it seemed that people were taking their time with things. Well, that worked for him. He slid into the seat, then leaned toward the window to wave at the two of them, getting fairly subdued waves back, only for a moment, as neither wanted to make a scene or anything. He'd never really spent much time away from home, even if his parents were often busy and he found himself alone a lot of the time. It was different being alone at home and being alone so very far from everything familiar. But he was calm, sliding away from the window to try and peer out into the corridor to observe what he could without being too obvious about it. Finding nothing too exciting happening out there, he decided to move the things he'd brought with him into a less obtrusive space, in case anyone else came to join him. He didn't want to take up all of the room, after all. Once that was done, he found himself again with nothing to do, so he just sat back, eyeing the dark-coloured owl he'd had to bring, starting a weird staring contest. |

She looked at her again and she felt like Alex is waiting for an answer to her question, then she spoke "I'm a Muggle." |
Where an I going to sit? Her excitement droped from a 10 to a 2 when it finally hit her that she was friendless, for now. Maybe she should have gone to the muggle school after all, she had friends there. Snap out of itMaddy instructed herself, and she walked down the train until she came to an empty compartment, she took a seat and made herself compfortable. |
Briley walked into the back of train, nervous and shy, not sure where to sit... |
Ronnie went to the back of the train. She was so pumped to go to Hogwarts again! She had a feeling this year would be better than the last. She found an empty compartment and walked in, and sat down. "You can come on out, Scabbers!" she said. He climbed out of her pocket and curled up in her lap and fell asleep. She couldn't wait for the cart to come by, she was starving. She wondered if Rose would come and sit with her. Or Faina, and one of her best mates Jordan. She made sure to save them all a seat. |

"Oh! Excuse me!" She apologized when she noticed the girls. One of them seemed to be asleep, so she turned to the other. "Are you saving this compartment for anyone? If not, would you mind if I took a seat here? If you are, then I apologize!" Adanna winced. She realized she had spoken a bit quicker than she should've. Plus, with her slight Swedish accent (which she had picked up from her mother), she might not've been understandable. Still, she hoped the girl at least understood a bit. |

She noticed the girl had a cute cat beside her "is the kitten yours? is so cute" she added smiling |
Temperance looks around for a compartment and then finds one that is empty so she goes in, sits down by the window and pulls out her sketchbook to start drawing. She looks around to see what she can draw and remembers what the train looked like when she first saw it "I suppose I could draw the train, might take a while to get it perfect but it will be better in the long run." she says to herself "Too bad I can't listen to my cd player, I always found it helps me concentrate on my drawing when I have music playing." |

Boon pretended to be asleep for a few minutes more, and realized this socialization business was going to have to start somewhere. They were, after all, on their way to a school. Boon looked over at the boy and decided not to say anything. He looked like he didn't need an invitation if he had something to say. She turned her head to the girl with reddish-brown hair. This girl was slight, like her, which is well known as no real measure of a person's strength. This gave Boon a weak smile. She sat up, and said "Hai." She jumped a little bit when she saw the OTHER tiny girl sitting right next to her. This one had strawberry-blonde curls and was that... a Swedish accent? "Oh, excuse me. Hello. Wow, I'm sure I'm not fully awake right now. Forgive me. Say, do you think they serve coffee on this train"? |

Jayden entered the compartment and saw that it was already occupied.. "Ah well, looks like it's time to make friends." She thought to herself. "Oh. Hello there, My name is Jayden..." she introduced herself cheerfully, flashing a big grin. |
Someone come and revive her! Aurora dragged her trunk onto the train, balancing Sage's cage, her flute and her violin on top, and found an empty compartment. SO MANY FIRST YEARS!!! O___o Aurora rolled her eyes as she entered the compartment and stowed her trunk in the overhead storage bit. She flicked open the clasps and retrieved a large, ominous looking book, a small green phial and a tiny wooden box. She sat on a seat and opened the book, burying her head in it and holding the phial and the box close. Hmm... Would she have enough for this..? She glanced at a page of the book and undid the little clasp on the front of the box, carefully lifting the lid and peering inside. Yes, that should be just enough; she could always get some more sent to her by Vikenti... She closed the box again, making sure there was no way the clasp could come undone accidentally; she'd have to put a charm on that when they got to Hogwarts. She held the small phial to the light, anyone watching would have thought she was rather odd but she was checking the consistency of the liquid inside. "Hmm, that should have fermented properly in a week or so..." she mumbled to herself, squinting at the tiny writing in the book. She unstoppered the phial and brought it to her nose... Wow... that smells... fantastic... she thought, stoppering the phial again. Yes.. that would definitely be ready... She stood up and put the three items back into her bag, she was glad she'd checked them out before leaving, if she hadn't she might have discovered a problem halfway to Scotland and there'd have been no way to immediately get a solution. Anyway... that was done now... she felt a little drowsy still... maybe the potion had fermented already... She locked her trunk and dropped the key into her pocket. Hmm... there really is something I need to be.... oh... maybe I should sit down... I... that did smell nice... mmm... oh that could be dangerous I guess... I... oh... And just like that, Aurora Stewart-Quinn fainted. |

She poked her head inside the doorway and said, "Hello, my name is Violet, Violet P. Blackthorne. Do you mind if I sit in here?" |
