It was a moment of pure happiness, before the smoother of books and the division of houses there was a moment of equality that hopefully wouldn't change even if they were put into different houses. "Thanks... ahhh... again." more laughter followed. "That'd be great, i mean i would love to have a go. Oh god look at me! I'm a mess." She had been so overjoyed with laughter and well everything that she had shed small tears. Arianna picked up the sewing and began to follow the exact movements as she had seen Gabby do. "Look at me a pro." Raising her shoulders up high and sticking her chest out, before breaking into more laughter as all she had done was one stitch.
Gaby grinned as the two girls separated. See, Arianna was totally smiling. Hugs made everything better. Fact. 'Don't mention it,' she said, still grinning. As Arianna began to laugh, Gaby did too, and soon the two girls were practically crying. But not, obviously, 'cause she wasn't that crazy. Not yet. She giggled as she passed the robe over to her friend, careful not to stab either of them with the needle. That would be just her luck. She watched intently as Arianna made her first stitch, and she was pleasantly surprised - it was pretty much perfect. 'I thought you said you sucked?' she said jokily. 'Soon enough we'll have you making your own clothes too!' she teased.
'So, Arianna, where are you from?' Gaby asked curiously, when the laughter had subsided. She was nosy like that... she liked to know all about other people. Her mother said it was annoying, her father said it was endearing - whatever that meant. Sometimes she had absolutely no idea what her father was saying.

So far, he just wasn't doing very well here at all.
"I have no idea what house I'll be in. Is it important to you?" he asked. He'd had the feeling that it was important to a lot of people, but after all the drilling into his head about how he just had to be a Slytherin like most of his family was, he was almost hoping to be anything else. It didn't matter what.
Ah, someone after Gaby's own heart. She wasn't too fussed about her house, either. Which was weird - she'd met so many people who were all 'oh, I'll die if I'm not in Gryffindor'. She didn't see what all the fuss was about, to be honest. All of the houses seemed equally as awesome. 'Well, I wouldn't mind being a Ravenclaw, but my family all want me to be a Slytherin,' Gaby said, shrugging. 'To be honest, though, I'm not all that bothered about which house I'm in. They're all great,'
Soooo... awkward pause. This whole making friends thing was harder than Gaby had originally thought it would be, and she had no idea what to say next. Great. I must look like a complete moron, she thought to herself.

Mia apologises for her prolonged absence. She had exams to study for... but then realised SS was more fun.
Fiona got on the train and found an empty compartment at the back of the train. She waited for her friends, who were still saying their goodbyes. She was so excited to finally be going to Hogwarts!
Chelsea gave her a Cauldron Cake "Yeah there like chocolate cake with a golden filling its really good"
"Thanks! It sure looks like a cauldron, which is probably how it got it's name." Temperance says as she looks as the sweet. She then slowly unwraps it and takes a bite "Yummm, that's good." she says "I like anything that has chocolate in it or that is made with chocolate. Does Hogsmeade have a sweets store?"

"Yep its called Honeydukes they sell every wizarding candy. Just a tip if anyone tries to give you an Acid Pop don't take it. They look like muggle lollipops and there used for pranks. Also unless you want to be ill don't eat anything from a box that says Weasleys Wizard Wheezes Skiving Snackbox. She hadn't laughed like this since... last year at Hogwarts. For real. Only the frogs didn't seem to mind the shield, one of the had hopped on Adam's shoulder and directly sank on Louisa's head. Quickly she smacked both hands on her head forgetting all about the chocolate and her head was now a cutie chocolate cake. She was about to groan but the laugh prevented any bad feelings, another frog had jumped on the window and was making its way toward Adam but she saw it. With an ungraceful move, Louisa straightened up on her knees and launched herself at the hopping chocolate and succeeded to grab it and shoving it into her mouth as it was forced to stay close and chew on the candy.
Realizing that she was actually over Adam's shoulder, resting herself on him because of that lousy jerk of her body, she slumped back onto the seat, "Sowy," she mumbled still munching on the chocolate. Aaaah. It was a bit quieter suddenly, maybe Adam and JB had caught the rest?
Adam looked down at Louisa, who was in a fit of laughter from the cheap attack the frog on his cheek had made. He smiled at her, ripping the frog off and shoving it into his mouth. There wasn't really much else for them to do other than eat it, right? Adam balanced himself upright so that he was standing in front of Louisa, blocking her from any more assaults. Unfortunately, Adam missed one, the frog landing right on Louisa's head.
He was about to try and help her get it off when Louisa grabbed hold of it with her hands, smearing on her head. Well...it looked like both of them were going to need to shower when they got to Hogwarts. Adam turned to look at JB who had grabbed a hold of four of the frogs, their little chocolate legs sticking out of his mouth at various angles. This sight elicited even more laughter from Adam. He was laughing when all the sudden he felt a ton of weight on his shoulder. Turning his head to look Adam saw that Louisa was leaning pretty much her whole body on his shoulder. He had no idea what was happening until he heard the sound of her hand against the window.
Adam helped Louisa as she eased herself back into the seat. "It's okay," Adam said with a little chuckle. He could feel the huge smear of chocolate on his seat, and looking down at his clothes he saw the remains of one or two frogs that had been smashed against his clothes. "Well...I think we may have gotten them all!"

Whoopsies. At least she was already wearing the rest of her uniform; skirt, white shirt, black combat boots. Yup, combat boots. It might sound weird to other people, but they were her favourite shoes and there was no way she was going to wear some stupid shiny pumps like everyone else.
Pulling her robes on over the top, she frowned a little. Her aunt had insisted on buying them a little too big, and the sleeves were too long for her. She wondered if she could sew them up or something... she liked to sew. She even made her own clothes occasionally. Pulling them back off again, she sat down and took her sewing kit from her bag. Time to fix some sleeves.
As she walked back to the back of the train, Maddy saw a framilliar looking girl sitting in a compartment sewing her sleeves. Maddy stopped and leaned against the door "Hey, you look really framilliar have we met before?"
Arianna still wasn't pleased with Ash, but still she was to be a good sport and suck it up. She took a deep breath and said, "No i don't. You see my parents marriage was looked down on by both my mother parents and my fathers parents. My father comes from a line of pure blood Slytherins, while my mother comes from a half blood family and she is in griffindor as is most of her family. Apparently there were big blows with both sides, so my parents were given two choices either to stay away, or to seperate as it was against their parents will especialy on my dads pure line. Well my parents decided to stay away and moved in to muggle suburbia. I had never heard of Hogwarts until aout a year a go when my parents sat me down and told me the whole story, start to finish. So year, sorry if i went on a bit. Its quite a big deal to me. Sorry" She hoped she had gone and bored the two listeners to death. She looked at both of them and smiled.
Ashley listened, sitting back in the seat and trying to seem interested. It wasn't that it was a boring story, it was just that nothing exciting was happening in it. It wasn't a very surprising story, either. He didn't have anything to say about it, choosing only to comment on the whole of it.
"So you do know about your family," he pointed out, because that was a great deal of information that he hadn't expected from someone who said they didn't know about their family. That was almost a biography, even.
"Wait, what's a muggle suburbia?" Okay, that part was interesting, just because he was trying to picture it, and really couldn't come up with a thing.

"Why does it matter to your family which you're in?" Ashley asked, just because it had come to mind. He was feeling a little better about this whole conversation thing, actually. At least, he thought that was a good question, anyway. Wasn't it? Maybe it wasn't, though. He thought some more, to find something else to talk about. "Do you have any brothers or sisters? Were they Slytherins?"

Getting up on her feet and glancing down at her previously-white clothes, she chuckled. "If mom saw this, I wouldn't make it to six ft tall." She looked up at Adam. Getting her wand from under her shirt --yeah, she didn't really act lady-like at all-- Louisa muttered, "Scourgify." And the stains on her clothes were gone except her hair. Looking at Adam she did the spell again to remove the chocolate staining his shirt. "You're going to wear your robes now, though. Right? Mine is at Joao's compartment. I think I'll hang around here for a few before hurrying over to wear them." She sat on the other seat that didn't have dead frogs squished on.
"You're going to love the feast, by the way. And I'll be watching you getting sorted for sure." Since it was only minutes before they arrived at Hogwarts and Louisa was really curious as to where Adam would be sorted, "I wish you're a Ravenclaw. We're going to have so much fun at the common room!" Her voice tone was pleading a bit. Another true reason was that she didn't have to watchout for any Dallin alerts then. Joao wasn't likely to end up in her house so Adam was her only chance.

Adam smiled at Louisa. "Well it was an honest mistake, so hopefully she'd understand that." Taking out the same towel that he had used to wipe up the water off the seat, Adam took a hold of JB's little mouth and wiped off the excess chocolate. "The first bad thing you've done," Adam said in a mock chiding voice. "Maybe I will need to keep an eye on you this year."
Adam stood still while Louisa cleaned off his clothes with her wand. "Thanks," Adam said, pulling out his own wand. He looked at the seat that Louisa had abandoned, not that he could blame her since it was completely covered in huge, brown stain spots. With one decisive flick of his wand the seat was completely clear of all the stains. He turned to smile at Louisa before returning the wand to his pocket.
"Yeah, I better get into my robes," Adam said, reaching into his bag and pulling them out. Adam removed his hoodie, revealing the plain gray t-shirt he had been wearing underneath, before pulling on his robes over top of it. Now that it had the right length sleeves it was much more comfortable. Adam tucked his hoodie into his back pack before seating down on the newly clean seat. Almost instantly JB jumped up next to him.
"It would be nice if I got into Ravenclaw," Adam said with a smile, detecting a note of pleading in Louisa's voice. "But even if I don't I doubt that will impact the amount that we hang out." Adam kind of figured that she was nervous about the Dallin situation...he was in Ravenclaw, wasn't he?

"Neat. They must have been very good at pranking people and even at making pranks to have done that when they did." Temperance says "Those snack boxes could be useful for getting out of a class you don't want to go to but I suppose you could probably get in trouble for doing so." she says.
The tree may not be that bad but Olivia would still not be getting anywhere near it. She didn't want to get a permanent injury or DIE or something equally as bad.
"Not when it comes to magical stuff." she replied. "I'm good at Maths, Science, English, History, Art, R.E, Geography. You know... normal subjects."
She'd seen the titles of her books when she'd got them from Diagon Alley. It was stuff like Transfigurations, Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts. That last one especially worried her.
"I wonder what house I'll be in." Olivia wondered, half to herself. "How do they decide what house you're in? Is it all sorted before we get there or do we have to pick straws or our house out of a hat or something? She laughed for the first time that day, she was finally starting to relax.
" Good, you help me with Arithromancy and Astronomy and I will help you with the magic classes" Willaim told Olivia. " I am sure you will be good at Muggle Studies" Willaim smiled." Yes, we never know our house until right before the big feast" William said to Olivia. "Well, there is a har, a wizards hat, then it spins around and around, then it finally settles down, it knows if you are very smart and very logical- RavenClaw, Very friendly-HufflePuff, Cunning and possibly devious, but also very smart-Slytherin and finally, brave , lots of friends, not like HufflePuff, but close and loyalty-Gryffindor" Willaim explained to Olivia.

Louisa chuckled and gave him a playful and gently nudge, "We're just as bad." On the other hand she did wish her mother cared about this- well, she did if she knew. 'If' being the keyword. Louisa's mother never asked about her school or what had happened during the term, not even when she wasn't in France. Louisa didn't know that being so free from your parents bugged sometimes. Marina was taking care of lectures, though, so the disadvantage of parents followed her even when she was away from them.
Looking at him as he changed, Louisa raised her eyebrows in slight surprise, "They're even better than before." When he was fully dressed in his uniform, Louisa grinned at him, "You're now officially a Hogwarts student." JB gave a woof at this making her chuckle. This dog looked like he truly understood every word of them.
"Yes. I hope so," she replied concerning the sorting. Leaning her back against the seat, the girl relaxed a bit, "I just don't know how am I supposed to see..him and her again. "Oh! A keeper! Are youany good? Sorry! That's kind of a stupid question to ask! Do you have any favorite teams you support? Sage asked, rambling slightly.
"I love the Kenmare Kestrels!! They are fabulous!! Darren O'Hare, Keeper in 1947-60, invented the Hawkshead Attacking Formation!! That's one of the best Quidditch attacking formations ever!" Katie said grinning widly.

To be honest, I kinda liked Potions and Herbology out of every other class she said. When Violet mentioned people saying that you had to fight a troll to be sorted, Lysandra let out a laugh. Fighting a troll, huh? Well, I think if we had to fight a troll, a lot of us wouldn't be here, but just to make you feel better, yes it is a hat she answered. "No I think theres a place called Zonko's in Hogsmeade and its a joke shop." Chelsea looked around the train its been hours since a prefect told everyone they were close. Chelsea was begining to wonder how long this train ride was. "Looks like were here! Finally! I'll see you at the opening feast Temperance!"

Adam gave Louisa a smile at her playful nudge. That was a good point...He noticed that Louisa had been watching him as he changed, and he tried not to show his embarrassment when she did. It was just put his robes on over his t-shirt, but still...something about the whole thing made him fidget slightly. He gave Louisa another smile as she told him he looked like an official Hogwarts student.
"Fake it until you make it, right?" Adam said, letting out a little sigh. He could tell that they were getting closer to Hogwarts, but he was trying to keep himself calm. The calmer he was, the better off he would be. He looked down at JB, giving the dog a little pat of appreciation. "Thanks...I appreciate the support."
Adam could sense the change in Louisa's tone of voice before he looked at her. He had been right...Dallin and Ellie were a concern for him. Adam had already suggested chatting, and that had gone horribly, so he certainly was not going to offer any more advice on a plan of action for her. "Well...maybe since it's been a little bit of time since you last spoke to him, maybe things will have cooled down."
