Oh, well I guess I was just wondering," Sage said shrugging her shoulders. She looked out the window and saw the mountains whiz by. The excitment was beginning to be to much for Sage to handle,"Do you know how we'll be sorted?"

"I'm a Half-Blood, my dad was Muggleborn and my mum was Pureblood," Sage said,"So, I'm guessing you haven't heard of Quidditch by any chanse! I would liek to be sorteded in Gryffindor, but my second choice is Ravenclaw!"

"oh well" Joaquin sighed with a very sleepy look.

Hello there! My name's Sage, are you a first year?" Sage asked the boy who had just sat down.

"Yeah," Aaron replied to the girl. " My name's Aaron."

"Yep we are sorted by the Sorting Hat. It knows what your thinking and it can tell what your traits are and your traits determine what house you'll be placed in" she explained. Her aunt had told her all about sorting at Hogwarts "and after the sorting ceremony theres a huge feast"




Chelsea noticed a boy talking to her "There are different spells types and a charm is one of them. And yeah I can show you one." Chelsea pulled out her wand and took out a book "wingardium leviosa" and with a flick of her wand her book began hovering in the air she moved it around the compartment and sat it back down on her lap.

"Spain? Wow," Kurumi mused as she leaned back against the wall of the corridor. "I bet is beautiful there."

Kurumi frowned a little as Simon spoke. He was an instant celebrity back where he was from. That was everything she had dreamed of being. When she was younger, pre-Hogwarts time, she was a nobody. No one would even look her way unless it was to scowl at her or take careful aim with a mudball. "You should do something positive with all that limelight. There are people who wish they could have as much influence as you have you know." Simon was letting it all go to waste.

"Exploding snap?" she repeated raising an eyebrow. "I think I will pass...if anything I really should be making sure that first years are getting into their robes."

Joaquin watched with amazement and asked "Could you teach mr that?" He asked. "Oh! , I almost forgot. My name is Joaquin , and you are?" asked Joaquin

Sage's eyes widenend it shock...

"He looks into you mind!" Sage gasped, subconsciously covering her head with her hands. She didn't want the hat finding out some of her secrets! What if it told her mum about that time she gave Lance an Acid Pop and blamed it Iris! Just then Sage's stomach growled in hunger. Sage let out a small chuckle, "But, I guess a big feast wouldn't hurt anyone!"

"Hello Aaron! I'm a first year too! Do you live in the Wizarding World, or are you Muggleborn?" Sage asked curiously.

- Most of my mom's OWL's were also Outstanding. But she failed Ancient Runes, she says it was awful, she hated it. - Luna said shrugging - I don't understand the interest in Ancient Runes either. I prefer Charms and Transfiguration! What about you?

"All they do is place the hat on your head and it can yes read your mind and sometimes i've heard it also takes your opinion on what house you want to determine what house you will be in" chelsea said. "That feast does sound good right now" she hadn't ate anything since she left her house to go to the platform and this was a very long train ride.





"Nice to meet you Joaquin I'm Chelsea Charm" she introduced herself. "I'm not much of a teacher but I could try take your wand and do a light simple swish to the left and flick and very clearly say 'Wingardium Leviosa' and if you don't get it right away just keep practicing it may take a few tries" she said

Well, my mum was a Ravenclaw, my dad was a Slytherin, and I want to be a Ravenclaw too, you know follow in my mums foot steps... but I'm more a Hufflepuff, I'm not to great at anything, but I try hard. What house to you wish to be sorted into?

Ivan decided after sometime that noone was going to be with him in his compartment so he changed into his robes after seeing so many others in theirs. At last he was tying his Gryffindor tie and put on the rest of his robes. After that he put his muggle clothes in his bag then opened a book and read some more.

Ronnie smiled back. "I'm great, thanks! And you?" Ronnie asked. "Oh, here have a seat!" she said. "There's plenty of room. Oh and this is my younger sister, Plumeria!" she said pointing to her, who was sitting across from her. "She's going into her first year!"

"Well, I'm sure you're great at something, even if you are put in Hufflepuff!" sage insisted,"I hope to be a Gryffindor! Like my mum and older brother, but he says I'm not brave enough. I'll show him! But if I'm not then I'd rather be a Ravenclaw, my dad was one too you know!"

"That sounds much nicer," said Sage as she slumped into her seat. She had been worried there for a second,"I hope they serve good food! That Chocolate Frog isn't agreeing with me right now, but that could just be nerves!"

"I hope you get Gryfindor! Do you want to be on the Quiditch team? I do! My dad on and said if I make the team he'd buy me a Firebolt!" Katie said eagerly.

"I know I'm starving I wonder how much longer till we get there" Chelsea took her PygmyPuff out of its cage and put it on her shoulder and looked out the window.

They were off. Finally. Literally, Amy had had to drag her dad away from his buisness chat, had found another fitty, bumped into Everett again and had been screamed at by Sammy. In a nice way of course. And she had met Nessie. And saved her skin from her olds, though she was trapped by other people and they'd got seperated. And now her stuff was loaded up into luggage part of the train, her trunk, the bottom one, and the heaviest one, loaded up with all her books for her OWLs, plus endless revision notes that she'd started over the summer. She was determined to do well this year, she had to get good OWLs for her NEWTs and ultimatley Uni.

But that was AGGGEEES away.

And Amy was on her own. Lugging her travel bag into one of the only empty compartments, her bright red jumper stood out from most of the dark "muggle" clothes that a lot of students were wearing. The fringing on her bag russled against her leg as she flopped down, and as she dragged a hand through her wild mane of hair, she tossed her bag onto the seat, pulling out her Ipod with her.

She plugged in the headphones with a silent prayer

'Hey, Jordan!' Rose beamed at him. She had dstopped vomiting now, and was looking at Ronnie with pride. 'Served!' Rose beamed as she saw Ronnie covered in vomit. Teach HER to give Rose a puking pastel!

"Okay. So only slightly simliar to muggle police, their job is also dangerous but they do other things besides going after criminals. Oh wow, they sound like they're horrible creatures, is there any way to defend against them?" Temperance asks "Okay. Yeah I read history books that are more about a countries myth's and legend's than the actual history of the countries. Sometimes the actual history can be interesting but it's usually very violent and tragic for the most part." she says.

"I think we are getting near Hogwarts, it looks like the other students have their robes on." Temperance says as she then starts to look through her trunk to find her robes. When she does, she put's them on and she tries to remember to what her dad told her about tying a tie, after a few tries she finally get it's tied.

"Rose!" Ariella exclaimed, noticing her good friend from last year hanging out on the train. "How are you?" She tucked her notebook into her robe.

Ronnie smiled. She was still covered in vomit. "Like my new robes?" she asked.

"It's my dream to make the Quidditch Team! I want to be a Beater if I ever do and a very fast broom, like one of the new ones at the Quidditch Shop in Diagon Alley!" Sage said excitedly, after all Quidditch was her favorite subject to talk about!

"Oh, you've got a PygmyPuff!" Sage asked when Chelsea set it down on her shoulder,"My mum wouldn't let me. It was either a PygmyPuff or an owl, so I went with an owl!"

Sage motioned down to the cage with her Black Owl in it...

'Ariella! OMGODRIC! I haven't seen you in AGES!' Rose grinned, as she got ready to hug her friend then remembered about the blood. 'I would hug you if I weren't afraid of covering you in blood!¬' Rose smiled meekly
'At least your face doesn't look like a pizza!' Rose rolled her eyes as she felt the blood on her face. It had stopped bleeding now, thank God.

She giggled lightly. "Now I'm even more excited I really really want to get to classes…especially charms and I can't wait to see where the sorting hat places me. It is a hat right cause I heard some people earlier talking about fighting a troll." the small girl said looking nervous again.

"There is a spell you can use to defend your self I think its called a Patronus charm. I read 'Hogwarts; a History' a few months ago and the Second Wizarding War seemed very violent and tragic all for a stupid reason too." she said.

"I hope I wonder how much longer till we get there I can't wait to get sorted and enjoy the feast" Chelsea took her trunk from its overhead compartment. She opened it and looked for her robes once she found them she put them on and began tying her tie to her sweater.




"Yeah her name is Luna" she held her purple pygmypuff. "I was going to get a snowy owl but I just couldn't resist the pygmypuffs their so adorable. Whats your owls name?"

"Cool, wonder what year we will have to be before they start to teach that spell." Temperance says "I think I'll start reading that soon, it sure seems like it is a very interesting book. Most wars are for stupid reasons in my opinion." she says

"I can't wait to get sorted either! Hopefully there will be lots of food at the feast, oh and lots of dessert too. Dessert is my favorite." Temperance says with a giggle.
