"Yeah…I was worried I wouldn't find a place though I got here so late and I don't know anyone or anything so I was hoping someone wouldn't mind or that I could find a free compartment but it's so hard when the train moves…and I'm babbling aren't I. I do that when I'm nervous or excited but you probably don't really care so I'm shutting up now." she said quickly taking only a few breaths inbetween blushing lightly as she looked up at the older girl
Lysandra chuckled again. Her bad mood was slowly slipping away and she was happy for it. Yeah, you're kinda babbling, but I don't mindshe laughed And if you don't have a place to sit on the way, you can share with me if you want, I don't mind the company she offered. She could use some company right about now.

Accidentally dropping his girlfriend's luggage on the floor, a result of the momentary panic, the lion boy quickly looked around for a suitable place to hide the chocolate frog.
Where? Where? Where?
Haaaaaa....where?
As there seemed to be no good enough place to hide it without causing the girl to ask questions about what he was trying to do, Josh decided to do the first that occured to him once his dark brown eyes did land back on the kitty. He was just sleeping there so that was going to be no problem, right? So, quickly picking up Lock, he put the chocolate frog on the seat and placed the cat back on it. Hah! Now the chocolate was completely out of sight and the Gryffindor held that sigh in, when he felt the girl leaning against him. ''My love!'' he exclaimed a little bit exeggeratedly which was an obvious give away that there was something out of the ordinary. And realising that, by the tone he had used, he knew it was too late to change it yet at least he could shut up to avoid causing any suspicions to be raised. Yeaaa...so shut up!
There were many sweets on his lap now, though. ''Wow! I did not know you had a certain love for Licorice Wands and...those toad things.''
Yes, he just could not shut up.
...
She didn't even have to see the chocolate to know someone was eating it. She could SMELL it in here. It had that weird...sweet...smell in the air that could only indicate the fact that there was chocolate somewhere. Yea, she was good at sniffing out the evil stuff.
Well at least Josh wasn't eating it. D'awww, and there was LOCK! Goodness, how much had Josh been feeding him? His belly looked like it grew twice it's size. "I noticed." she mumbled, reaching over to gently pet the cute kitten. Hopefully he wouldn't miss his brother and sister too much. "Most of them can't keep seated in their compartment either." And invade the corridors making it hard to walk through. Fail.
Glancing up at Josh, she didn't know whether to smirk or scoff, completely oblivious to the weird attitude he had at the moment, but she ended up with a slightly confused expression on her face instead. "I don't. I thought you liked licorice wands." And she just grabbed other random stuff afterward.
"Really that's great if you're sure you don't mind." she said with the largest smile that was almost too big for her face.
Fee stood there in the door frame and chuckled a little at Nikolas. They definitely had their nicknames now.Hehe."Weeeell i am better on brooms than other girls",she winked,"just because i am girly i dont have to be bad."The Slytherin would try out for the Quidditch team again this term.It was going to be sooo much fun.
Ohh waiit, was he kidding her?For a second the fourth yea was a little bit shocked about his answer before she started laughing and shaking he head.Ohh so much for being obnoxious Nikolas.Tseeee."Heeeyy",the girl stuck out her tongue and playfully hit her friend on the arm.Pulling her uber heavy trunk into the compartment the blonde sighed when she finally settled down and literally plopped onto one of the seats."Soo tell me how has your summer been?",Fee wiggled her eyebrows,"except for our glorious encounter of course." Hehe.
So, the girl believed she was better on a broom? Hmmm, we shall see that when we arrive at Hogwarts. "You broke the girly stereotype" he replied , indeed she did "But...we shall see who is better on a broom" he started "What about a quick game in the pitch, huh?" he challenged her. Was she ready to cry like a girl now? She better be, because she was going down.
Nikolas could see the shock expression all over her face. Hehe. Definitely for a second she had believed him, he was enjoying to tease her. "Whaat?" he said while laughing. He then saw a big, heavy trunk, maybe heavier than all of his together being pulled by her. The boy stood up and tried to help her but she already got it "Now besides being a not screaming girl, you are a very strong woman" he said and sat down beside her.
He looked back at her and said "Well, I just did what every girl and boy in this train did...buy school stuff" he started and yes, it was pretty boring "Oh yes, glorious encounter because you met me" he winked and what else did he do? "And just hanging around with friends, nothing interesting" he shrugged "What about you?"
"Really that's great if you're sure you don't mind." she said with the largest smile that was almost too big for her face.
Well, come on Lysandra motioned Violet to follow her into the empty compartment I don't mind having company to talk to. She took her seat at the window and folded her hands together. So is this your first year going to Hogwarts? Lysandra asked, trying to start up a conversation.
Faina looked around for any of her friends. She was bored out of her mind. Jordan was sleeping, Mickey and Jerrod were of doing other things and Ronnie was with other second years. Faina sighed and continued to look.
"I know! It was a birthday present from one of my friends." she flicked through the pages. "I'm... not sure if I should be allowed it at school though." she added, shrugging. "It's not exactly curriculum. Look." She pointed to the title of a chapter. 'For Enemies.' "Though I guess if I'm not actually using it..."Yet...
Aurora nodded, "Yeah, it's really rare now, and a tiny bit dangerous." Yup, a tiny bit... "But you can still buy it in some places. It's almost never used any more..." She looked up at him. "Are you not a big potions fan?" she asked, tucking a long, red curl behind her ear.
She watched Kennedy's reaction... "Hey, come on, Slytherin's amazing! Don't look so... condescending" Was that the right word? "about it. Our common room's under the lake - you can see the Squid through the window sometimes, just swimming around." she grinned. He'd nodded and... smirked? A lot of people did that when she said she was in Slytherin. Oh well, she guessed he wouldn't be anyway. He was too nice...
The book was suddenly creepy, especially the 'For Enemies' part, but he didn't show it. He was going to have to remember to stay on Aurora's good side...just in case.
So blue-moonstone was dangerous? Another thing he had to stay away from. Did everything in the wizarding world involve danger? Jeesh. "Um, I've never actually done a potion," he said, pushing his glasses back. He's never even used a cauldron before! Oh boy, he was going to be SO behind in school.
"Oh no, I don't have anything against it," he said, shaking his head. "Living under a lake is actually cool, but I just don't know if I belong there." He didn't want to belong there.
Faina looked up, glad to see Caelius was alive. "Her name is ChooChoo," Faina blushed, feeling slightly stupid about the name. "I got her when I was young," She explained, "Owls live almost as long as humans, you know."
Cael smiled genuinely as ChooChoo settled regally atop his shoulder. Petting her with one finger, Cael smirked when Jupiter started trying to one up the poor owl. Tucking the ferret within his cloak, Cael wondered, "Can owls truly live so long, Miss Malfoy? It must be nice to have a familiar that your family has known their whole life..." Cael trailed off hopefully.

"I grew out of collecting like a few years ago" Chelsea looked to see what she had gotten: George Weasley. "We go to Diagon Alley also theres this huge garden behind the manor and I go there to relax. I also play the piano. When we go to my aunt and uncles friend's houses I hang out with some of my friends but they all go to Durmstrang or Beauxbatons.
"Piano!" sage looked up surprised,I play a bit of the piano myself, of course I'm probally not that good. I started when I was little but over the years I've kinda stopped playing.
Her father was a piano player when he was a young boy in the muggle world and encouraged Sage to play it, too bad she was much more interested in Quidditch!

Rafe knew Marilyn had gotten on the train, she had to have. There was no reason she shouldn't be. Though after Rafe knew she was completely safe now and had nothing to fear, he was tempted to still have her followed, but stopped. She deserved privacy and for the first time in her life she didn't have to worry about her father's shadow and she didn't even know it. Not yet.
He almost got in a bit of a panic as he went further and further to the back of the train, and then finally about half way through he caught her scent and sped past the crowds til he came to her compartment. He actually was almost running so fast at first he passed her. But then he slowly turned around and got a peak at her. She was smiling, laughing and looking gorgeous as usual. He sighed.
He saw that she was with Evelyn and Josh and thought it might be rude for him to interrupt, but he was just so excited to see her that he rushed through the door and...
FELL! He fell right in the middle of the floor. "OW!" he bumped his nose. It wasn't bleeding or anything, but it certainly hurt. He slowly turned over, still lying on the ground... "Um...hi guys!" Rafe chuckled as he rubbed his nose. "I hope I'm not interrupting." He grinned ear to ear. It was so nice to be in familiar company. "Nothing like a stumble to start out our last and final year huh?"

Cael smirked at the adorable name... Caeli, he didn't think anyone had ever called him that before. It was nice to have a nickname, regardless of the circumstances.
"Of courese, Fai..." Cael grinned. "I'm sorry, I thought you had implied that you and your family had known your owl for quite some time. Just how long have you owned ChooChoo?"

"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Fixating her gaze on his so he could see how serious she was. "It's not your first time to walk into a new place, no. But it'll be your first time to walk in with a friend." Smiling at him in a sweet yet sad way, "And I really hope it's your last new school."
JB had let out a happy cute bark for attention, Louisa assumed, and she had to continue tickling his back as he wiggled his tail some more, "I'm not doing it out of sympathy, by the way." Louisa added in a lecture kind of tone. She wanted him to get this idea out of his head, if he was still clinging to it; the idea that she was just sticking around because he was alone and all. "I'm doing it because we're friends, we get along, and you're really great." A smile lightened her tone at the end.
"That's great, then." She nodded her head. "Mine's at the compartment with Joao. He has some company so I came to sit with you." See? She was a true friend. Louisa missed how Adam might feel by this little piece of information but she had said the words already and no taking back. "I did. Vashti was the first I bumped into on my way here." She gestured to the window with her thump, "I..er.. think I would've met others if I had looked into the faces properly," she added lamely after that dropping her head slightly to look at JB. The main reason of her rush over here without searching for more friends was that Dallin and his girlfriend might be one of the 'familiar faces' and Louisa was not ready to confront them. Not yet.
Adam looked at Louisa, reading the seriousness in her tone. He understood that she was doing it because she wanted to, but at the same time Adam couldn't really help how he felt. Perhaps a part of him was just used to doing this whole thing on his own, and the idea of doing it with someone else was just...foreign. He gave her a little smile as she said it was his first time walking in with a friend. "I hope so too," Adam added at the end, more to himself than Louisa.
JB let out a bark, and looked at Adam...he was definitely thirsty. Reaching up into the carriage compartment Adam pulled down his black back pack, pulling out the bowl he had bought with Louisa in Diagon Alley and a bottle of water. He set the bowl down on the seat, scooting over so there was room, and poured some of the water into it. He watched as JB somewhat climbed out of Louisa's arms and started drinking. He looked at Louisa as she commented that he was great and gave her another little smile. "Um...thanks...you're great too." Adam meant it from one friend to another, and he hoped that Louisa noticed that was the way he meant it. After all that switch was still firmly in place.
Adam gave a little nod of the head...of course her things were with Joao, but that was nice that she had come to see him. Adam shot a look out the window again, understanding what she meant. "Yeah...I know what you mean. I'm sure some of the other people I've met are out there, but it's just too overwhelming to go out and try and find people."

"How terribly clever of you. Why if I didn't know any better I'd peg you for a Ravenclaw, but you must be a Slytherin, am I right, Fai?" Cael laughed heartily, of course Fai was a Slytherin, he hadn't known a Malfoy to be anything else.

Faina smiled at the compliment, flattered that such an attractive boy would call her clever. "Indeed I am. A Slytherin, I mean. I wouldn't say I was the sharpest knife in the drawer." Faina giggled at the muggle saying, it was just too funny!
Aaron walked into the back of the train. He took a seat in the back if the train. He rummaged through his book bag making sure he had everything. Wand, holster, uniform, and his book. He sat down excited for his first year at hogwarts.
"Yup they all have a button which activates the invisibility charm when flying over the muggle world" Chelsea said. "I listen to a lot of pop music and some classical. Theres a muggle band I like called Cobra Starship but as far as bands go I don't really listen to them"
"That's neat that all you have to do is push a button to make the car invisible." Temperance says. "I listen mostly to rock, some classical too. I've heard some of their songs, they're good. Some of my favorite bands come from Chicago, the city is actually quite well known for producing some very good bands. Does the wizarding world have bands? Do you play any instruments?"

Cael only hoped they could continue to remain friends despite their different houses. It would be a shame to lose a friend as lovely as she.
"Fai, I'm ever so curious... what classes are you most excited to take this term? I want to start my time at Hogwarts off in the proper direction and am loathe to admit that I am unsure as to which classes would benefit me the most this semester."

Marilyn had pulled a magazine out of her bag, flipping through the pages. She wasn't much for Witch Weekly...but they were corresponding with her about her mother. Being the daughter of a fashion designer did have perks.
She might even get to do a cover.
Seconds later, the door was yanked open and someone literally fell into the compartment. Her head snapped up and met the eyes of Rafe Lyacon...
Uh oh...
"Um...Hello, Rafe..."

"Fai, I'm ever so curious... what classes are you most excited to take this term? I want to start my time at Hogwarts off in the proper direction and am loathe to admit that I am unsure as to which classes would benefit me the most this semester.'
"Well," Faina paused for a moment, "I am pretty excited for charms. And Defense Against the Dark Arts. And the flying lessons, I love to fly!" Faina started to zone out before remembering she was with someone. "Maybe we might have some classes together!"
Violet started to feel a little nervous as more and more girls entered their compartment; she was so used to being alone that being around so many people made her uncomfortable, though also strangely excited. She supposed she would have to get used to it at school. To cover her nervousness, she pulled out her journal (on which she had written "DO NOT PRY!" on the first page) and started writing down her first impressions of the Hogwarts experience. Now and then someone said something that caught her attention.
Violet looked up. She was very familiar with that sort of pure-blood family--her mother's family was just like that. "My mother's family is like that--they haven't spoken to my mother since before I was born, because she ran off and married a Muggle." She didn't add that they were also related to the Black family, because she didn't really feel like talking about them right now.
Then the other girls started talking about Quidditch for along time and she tuned them out and wrote in her journal; sports bored her (and no, not just because I'm no good at them! she argued with herself).
"Being the only child is lousy!" Violet suddenly said. She realized she had said it rather loudly, flushed slightly, and turned back to her journal. "I mean," she went on, grown-ups either ignore you, or they're fussing all over you, they just don't remember what it's like to be a kid."
That got Violet's interest. She liked people who were interested in things, who had something they loved to do and worked at. She looked over at the other girl's sketchbook appraisingly. "You're very good," she said after a while.
((OOC: I'm sick in bed all day, so Violet may be pretty quiet on the ride to Hogwarts))
"Thank you" Temperance says looking at Violet "Do you draw?"

There was a lot that he couldn't understand when it was about girls so he decided to just let it go. Then as she spoke, Josh listened carefully wondering if he could find clues about it then yet well...there was something different instead. And it was that he never thought Evelyn had a sweet tooth. But Marilyn lived in the same dormitory with her, and she was a girl like her, so maybe she knew better than he did.
''I think they should sell some other stuff than sweets on the train though.'' then the boy said...randomly. But at least it was kind of related to the previous topic. ''You know, sweets aren't the greatest to fill one's belly. They are not so...filling.''
After making sure that the kitten, Lock, was on a safe part of the seat, Josh sat down still, determinedly, carrying Evelyn's stuff. And as the Slytherin girl told him a bit about her summer, the Gryffindor petted the kitten a bit. Gently of course, he did not want to unintentionally hurt the baby cat. ''With Carter huh? Sounds like you really enjoyed it. Have you seen him around by the way? I have his owl...'' he indicated one of the cages with a simple move of his head ''...here. Still alive.''
Then the boy's smile turned into a grin when he saw the chocolate frogs, especially the one that was coming towards him!!!! Immediately stopping to pet the cat, Josh moved forward slightly and caught the chocolate frog with his now free hand. ''Geez. Thanks.''
Then he heard the voice, that he loved to hear and listen to all the time, all in a sudden yet this time it kind of worked to him a warning alarm since now he had to hide the chocolate!! Eeeeeh!!
Marilyn nodded, eating her chocolate frog. "I'd much rather have sushi...but them selling such a thing on this train would never happen. So, in the meantime, I'm stuck with sweets...I can't wait for the Welcome Feast..." The elves in the kitchens had always went all out for start of term. Marilyn had missed eating that way...In a time before being on the run, she'd enjoyed many meals like that...
Not so much anymore, though.
Josh had Carter's owl? Oh yea, he had mentioned that to her...
"I feel like I haven't seen Apollo in ages...As for Carter, well...No, I haven't. He had some things he needed to take care of..." Biting at her lip, she recalled the scene over the summer. Anya, his adopted sister, had found his Quidditch captain badge. That had been a disaster. The little girl had been so hurt and confused...Marilyn, who had enjoyed the summer spent with a fun and carefree young lady, felt awkward after that. She was a witch herself, after all...The reaction hadn't been the best.
Hopefully, it would work itself out...
"It's no problem, man. I have a private stash..."
Remembering Evelyn's unnatural dislike for chocolate, however, it was amusing to watch Josh hustle to hide the offending treat. Surely Evie wouldn't have said anything to the fact of him enjoying chocolate...She probably wouldn't have kissed him after he's eaten it...but still...
Snerking at the two, she glancing out into the corridor outside their compartment. So many small children...Had there been that many when she'd started...Not likely...
More importantly, however, she was looking for Carter.
Hopefully everything was okay...

"Most of them can't keep seated in their compartment either." Glancing up at Josh, she didn't know whether to smirk or scoff, completely oblivious to the weird attitude he had at the moment, but she ended up with a slightly confused expression on her face instead. "I don't. I thought you liked licorice wands." And she just grabbed other random stuff afterward.
''Sushi?'' Well...of course Josh had heard of the word before and he knew it was a Japanese meal or something but he had never tasted it and even did not know how it looked. As a result, the one word question escaped his mouth before he could stop it. Eh there was no turning back that. Yeah. Not knowing what sushi was might not be a reason to be a horrible person in Marilyn's book, right? So, he just went on ''I thought it was made of raw fish or something like that.'' And riiiiiight he could not imagine raw fish being sold in Hogwarts Express.
And Apollo...heh...right. That was the name of the owl. Carter's owl. With the name mentioned Josh stared at the owl cages and nodded in silence to Marilyn's words. So, Carter was not around yet, eh? ''Eh...anyway. I'll be able to find him anyway, sooner or later, since we share a dorm.'' And the owl could stay with him until then. It was causing no problem to him after all, except that it had disappointed him a bit by not helping with softening his own owl's wild attitude. Hotty was still behaving like her master's, which would be Josh, body parts were yummy flesh to her.
And maybe giving out a chocolate frog was no problem and loss for Marilyn but now it could be that to Josh, that was, if Evelyn ever happened to see him with it and trying to hide it was another risk as he thought it would be all worse if she caught him trying to hide chocolate around. She also might think he did all the time...which was not true.
Well...at least he seemed to be safe now for the chocolate frog was out of anyone's sight, the kitten lying on it without complaining about anything. Good kitty. Good, good kitty.
But then...the boy's eyes widened when Evelyn reached for the kitty. What if.......??!! What if she wanted to pick him up???!! What if Lock would move and reveal the chocolate when the girl stroked him??!! Eeeeeeeeeh!! None of those did create nice scenes in the boy's mind so just like a Gryffindor he immediately acted catching his girlfriend's arm before she could touch the cat as if the creature she was about to pet was an Acromantula.
And then he stared into her hazel eyes. That was an awkward moment. Now, obviously, he needed to explain the reason for the act if he did not want her to get all suspicious or something. ''Well...hun. He is sleeping. He could not really find an opportunity to sleep during all the way to the station.'' Were the kitten's eyes even closed? Ha? Can't check now.
Yup. Let's focus on the Licorice Wands discussion instead. Good idea, that was. So, all he needed to do was to draw her attention to something else and the topic of licorice wands and sweets might be helpful to him with that. ''Yes. I do like them...no less than Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans. But... on second thought, Bertie Bott's might beat them since i like how one can have no idea what flavour they can taste. All risky business. Exciting, is not it?''
Being content with his attempt so far, Josh winked at his she-snake adding a little grin. And while doing so, he was quite unaware that Lock was now totally awake and walking towards him on the seat.
