"I'm not sure really. Seeker sounds cool but I don't exactly have the best eyesight, having good eyesight would seem to be important for that position. I suppose Chaser would be what I would try out for or maybe Beater." Temperance says. "Thanks! I'll be sure to remember that. So are you from London?"
"I plan to try out for Seeker! but if I don't make seeker hopefully I'll get Chaser I practice occasionally. My aunt and uncle also have taken me to a few World Cups those were great". Chelsea loved quidditch ever since she went to a World Cup for the first time. "No problem!"
"Yes I'm from London my aunt and uncle own a manor in Wiltshire. What about you?"

"Cool. What are World Cups? I'm assuming they have something to do with Quidditch?" Temperance asks.
"Neat. We just moved to London last month. I'm from America, Illinois to be specific and Chicago to be even more specific. I miss Chicago alot but wearing my necklace, that I'm currently holding in my hand, helps with the home-sickness." She says with a small smile, as she looks down at her necklace.

Adam had headed to the back of the train in hopes that maybe he could get away from all the chaos that was going on in the front. JB was walking along next to Adam, looking just as worn out as he felt to be around so many people. Maybe Hogwarts was going to be even more overwhelming than he had originally thought.
Running into a mass of people Adam quickly slid into the first open compartment he saw, shutting the door before flopping down on the seat. He looked at JB who had hopped up on the chair. The puppy laid its head down on his lap and Adam let out a sigh. "I know buddy, I know," Adam whispered under his breath.
Louisa had left her luggage at the compartment she shared with Joao and left him with a friend or two to look for Adam in all this chaotic, crowded place. The girl found it lively and held the hyper atmosphere of going back to school but a new student might be a bit restless, especially a quiet one. Peering into each compartment's window, she passed three ones before recognizing the puppy first and then the boy holding him.
With a jolt of the door, she squeaked, "Adam! JB!" she closed the door behind her and plopped herself on the same seat taking JB in her hands, "I've been looking for you, guys." Her eyes were on Adam's face as she held JB like a toddler in her hands, "How're you doing? Or should I ask how're you coping with all this?" she tilted her head toward the window signaling the voices outside.
Chelsea laughed "Yeah thats the hardest part I try to practice a lot so I get better at finding it".
"No I don't I'm an only child. What about you?" Chelsea sometimes wished she had a sister but most of the time she didn't mind being an only child not that she was a spoiled brat or anything she just liked her space if she needed it.
"Well I wish I was an only child! Like I said, I've got an older brother, but I've also got a younger sister and brother," Sage told Chelsea. Although she did wish she was an oly child, she would miss her siblings too much, no matter how annoying they get at times...

"Yes; it has something to do with Quidditch. The Quidditch World Cup is something that happens every 4 years Quidditch teams from every country around the world compete to win the world cup basically to see which team is the best. It's very exciting to go to its a huge event" Chelsea explained.
"Thats awesome how are you liking London? I've never been to America. By the way whats the muggle world like?" Chelsea was curious to find out about the muggle world.
Olivia looked up at the girl who had just knocked on the compartment door. She smiled nervously and nodded her head towards the empty seats opposite.
"Of course you can sit here. I don't mind."
It would nice to have someone to talk to, she supposed, she only hoped she didn't send the other girl running which she had been known to do in the past. Unintentionally. People didn't seem to like her much.
"Hi. I'm Olivia." she answered. "And this is..." she turned to the girl who had entered the compartment before turning red. "I'm sorry. I don't know your name."
The first thing she should have done was introduce herself and find out peoples names but she'd forgotten. That was basic social skills. Little kids knew that!
With three other people now in the compartment it was almost certain that this would not be a quiet trip to school and so she placed the book down, deciding that she'd just have to learn about the school when she got there.
" Nice to meet you" Willaim told Olivia. Those other boys and girls would tell Willaim their names later. " What have you heard about HogWarts?" William asked Olivia.

So be it, Josh could take that one at the end of the corridor just like the one he had found during the previous train ride.
So, the Gryffindor was about to make his way towards there, the compartment at the end of the corridor, when a familiar voice made him stop. Hmmm? Making sure the kitten was still safely clinging on his shoulder, Josh turned around only to face Marilyn Force the Blonde Snake. ''Hi, Maril...'' huh? Evie? He supposed that was Evelyn...well...since she specifically asked it to him and the boy thought he remembered her calling his girlfriend Evie before. ''She said she would go and get some sweets and stuff.'' And he was kinda glad that she did for, knowing himself, he was quick to get hungry. Then she watched the Slytherin girl approach one of the compartments...aha! There was another empty one...which was like right under his nose. Smiling a bit Josh watched the girl throwing her bag into the compartment ''Yea.'' the owls in their cages had started to annoy him long ago after all so yes, he would like put some of the things he carried down. Following Marilyn he put his own luggage down as well as the two owl cages before carefully taking the baby cat from his shoulder to put him on a seat. It would be more comfortable for the kitty there.
Yet about Evelyn's luggage...he still had not dropped it off his hand as he was not sure if the girl would appreciate it. She told him to carry it so he was going to do that. ''So, Marilyn, you look nice. Have had a nice summer?''
SPOILER!!: Marilyn wooooot

Taking a seat, Josh remained holding a few bags of luggage. This was odd to her...but she didn't want to offend him. Maybe this was something Gryffindors did...
"Thank you. I was with Carter all summer..." She smirked, then, crossing her legs. "It's been nice. His family, while muggle, are really wonderful." Looking around, she didn't see anyone and pulled her bag out, fishing for something. Pulling out several chocolate frogs, Marilyn tossed one to Josh. "It's good to be prepared. I bet the line for the trolley is ridiculous."
Making her way through the entiiiiiire train, since she hadn't found Josh as of yet, Evelyn was becoming a tad more irritated after each passing second considering how many people she had bumped into, the Slytherin finally stopped where she was and HUFFED. Ugh! Just...get all the anger and irritation out in one breath.
For the love of Merlin, why was there so many young kids on the train!?
At least she was having a better time keeping the 'hex them to move' thoughts out of her mind. She was just a bit on edge at the moment. Nothing good could come from being around and sweets and look...look what happened. She went to go buy some, and found out Miss Cookie Face was Prefec-
"Josh!" Thank Merlin, there he was. With Marilyn. Slumping down on the seat next to him, she gave a dramatic sigh and leaned her head against his shoulder as she dumped the sweets on his lap. Mmph. This was a horrible, horrible horrible...train ride.

"Yep. Drawing is one of things I love." Temperance says to Sage, with a small smile. "I've only ever had art classes in school but I worked hard and practiced often, which helped me quite a bit. "Nothing really." Olivia replied, feeling quite embarrassed. "I only found out Hogwarts existed last week on my birthday and I haven't had a chance to read through my books as I only got them yesterday. No one in my family is magical."
It was embarrassing to know that everyone knew so much about the school and all magical things and she knew nothing. It was very unusual for her to know so little about a subject and for everyone else to know so much. She'd been top of her class at her Primary school and now she had no idea whether any of that would be relevant.

"Boring how?" Sage asked, she had never lived through a day without bordom, of couse there were the days when she had nothing to do, but her siblings would figure something out,"Where do you like anyways?"

JB had lied on her lap, his head touched Adam's thigh as his tail danced happily behind him. Louisa was tickling his back as she spoke with his owner, "I figured you'd find a quieter place to stay in. I never managed to find an empty compartment before. You're lucky." Smiling up at him, Louisa noticed his face mirroring his discomfort and she reached out a hand to pat his shoulder, "Hey, it's all right, really. It's just that the train is a bit small for all of the students, I guess. Once we're at the castle, you can be more comfortable. I'm not going to leave you."
Louisa dropped her hand and thought of that for a minute. Okay, she was making the same promises to everyone at the same time, apparently. How was she supposed to be with Adam and Joao at the same time? They both were new and needed company at the first day of school. Maybe she should introduce them and get it over with-- even if the situation might be a biiit awkward at first. Adam and herself agreed on leaving that matter behind their back and stay only friends. For the time being.
Looking back up at him, she spoke, "So, tell me, did you get your robes and everything packed?" Just a try to casual conversation so she didn't add more pressure on him.

If he had forgotten something he clearly wasn't meant to have it at Hogwarts with him. "I'm sure you've been running into a lot of your friends?" Adam asked, imagining it was hard to not run into at least one person you knew given how crowded the train was.

"Oh, I do hope I enjoy being at Hogwarts. I don't want to be miserable for seven years!" she paused for a moment. "You think so? Oh I don't know. Surely everyone must already be so good at magic if they've been around it their whole lives."
It would be awful if she couldn't do a single thing and everyone else could. Her new wand felt completely foreign in her hand.
"No, I haven't read about it. What is it?" Olivia was interesting in finding out any information she could. "I started reading a book when I sat down but didn't get very far. The founders are Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin, right?"
"I don't mind." Temperance says, while glancing up from her drawing to look at Violet "Any of you first years?" she asks while drawing. Temperance then notices she made a mistake in her dawing of the train and pauses to see how she can correct it without starting over.

Violet started to feel a little nervous as more and more girls entered their compartment; she was so used to being alone that being around so many people made her uncomfortable, though also strangely excited. She supposed she would have to get used to it at school. To cover her nervousness, she pulled out her journal (on which she had written "DO NOT PRY!" on the first page) and started writing down her first impressions of the Hogwarts experience. Now and then someone said something that caught her attention.

Violet looked up. She was very familiar with that sort of pure-blood family--her mother's family was just like that. "My mother's family is like that--they haven't spoken to my mother since before I was born, because she ran off and married a Muggle." She didn't add that they were also related to the Black family, because she didn't really feel like talking about them right now.
Then the other girls started talking about Quidditch for along time and she tuned them out and wrote in her journal; sports bored her (and no, not just because I'm no good at them! she argued with herself).

"Being the only child is lousy!" Violet suddenly said. She realized she had said it rather loudly, flushed slightly, and turned back to her journal. "I mean," she went on, grown-ups either ignore you, or they're fussing all over you, they just don't remember what it's like to be a kid."

That got Violet's interest. She liked people who were interested in things, who had something they loved to do and worked at. She looked over at the other girl's sketchbook appraisingly. "You're very good," she said after a while.
((OOC: I'm sick in bed all day, so Violet may be pretty quiet on the ride to Hogwarts))
"Yep." Temperance says "Where do non muggle-born kids go to school before Hogwarts?" she asks.
Well, some go to muggle schools, but most don't because we'd stand out to much, especially if you end up doing accidental magic," Sage explained,"For those who don't, they are usually home schooled by a family member or a home tutor."
Sage herself was home schooled by her father, who was muggleborn himself. Her father wanted her to go to a muggle school, but her mom was afraid something would happen they couldn't explain.

Adam gave Louisa a little smile, appreciating her kind words and reassurances. "Thanks Louisa," Adam said, looking down at JB who looked like he had died and gone to heaven. He had to admit having the dog companion was definitely making this whole thing go a lot smoother for him. Adam looked up at Louisa as she rested her hand on his shoulder, promising that she wouldn't leave him.
"Thanks, but don't feel like you have to," Adam said with a little shrug of the shoulders. After all he was quite used to starting off alone at new schools, even if they weren't this big. "Unfortunately this is not the first time I've done this, and I've got JB," he said, the dog licking his hand as the words came out. He gave the dog a smile.

If he had forgotten something he clearly wasn't meant to have it at Hogwarts with him. "I'm sure you've been running into a lot of your friends?" Adam asked, imagining it was hard to not run into at least one person you knew given how crowded the train was.
Louisa suppressed herself from rolling her eyes at his answer. Seriously, someone should show him that when he was being taken care of it wasn't out of sympathy or forced-- even if his parents proved it to be that way. "No. I don't have to do that but I am." Fixating her gaze on his so he could see how serious she was. "It's not your first time to walk into a new place, no. But it'll be your first time to walk in with a friend." Smiling at him in a sweet yet sad way, "And I really hope it's your last new school."
JB had let out a happy cute bark for attention, Louisa assumed, and she had to continue tickling his back as he wiggled his tail some more, "I'm not doing it out of sympathy, by the way." Louisa added in a lecture kind of tone. She wanted him to get this idea out of his head, if he was still clinging to it; the idea that she was just sticking around because he was alone and all. "I'm doing it because we're friends, we get along, and you're really great." A smile lightened her tone at the end.
"That's great, then." She nodded her head. "Mine's at the compartment with Joao. He has some company so I came to sit with you." See? She was a true friend. Louisa missed how Adam might feel by this little piece of information but she had said the words already and no taking back. "I did. Vashti was the first I bumped into on my way here." She gestured to the window with her thump, "I..er.. think I would've met others if I had looked into the faces properly," she added lamely after that dropping her head slightly to look at JB. The main reason of her rush over here without searching for more friends was that Dallin and his girlfriend might be one of the 'familiar faces' and Louisa was not ready to confront them. Not yet.
Sage turned to look at Violet, who had been very quiet through the train ride "Why so quiet Vi? Sage asked quietly...
"That's cool. I've never seen a flying car or even knew they could fly." Temperance says. "The main thing I miss already is the Sears Tower. The Sears Tower is one of the most recognizable symbols of Chicago in the world." she holds up her necklace. I will also miss the classic Chicago style hot dog plus one of the biggest music festival's takes place in Chicago every summer. Sadly me and my parents couldn't go this year, I'm hoping we might be able to go next summer though." she says.
"Chicago sounds cool. I'll have to go there someday." Chelsea said. She was interested in finding about the muggle world and places outside of London. "Theres not many flying cars because brooms, floo powder, and apparition are the main transportation. But there are a few flying cars which can be made invisible when flying over the muggle world"

Sage was just to curious for her own good...
"No I don't mind but yes I have been there I went to Twilfit and Tattings Upscale Robes to get a few dress robes and school robes." Chelsea said. She didn't think it was too judgmental. After all she only went there for school robes because she couldn't find anything she liked in Madame Malkins.
