Gideon headed to arithmacy after looking at his watch and noticing it was almost time for the first class of the term. Sure it wasn't one of his better subjects but it was still interesting so the fourth year decided to continue taking it after his introduction the previous year. He entered the classroom, his bookbag over his shoulder and his gaze passing around the room to take in the surroundings.

"Good day Professor Hadley," Gideon greeted with a polite nod before heading to one of the front desks and taking a seat. The boy setting his bag at his feet and pulling his textbook, quill and parchment out to be ready.

Even after that little mishap down by the waterfall, Evelyn was still rather excited to be heading to one of her favorite classes. This had shifty written all over it. The subject was ninety percent logic and rarely used magic at all, so why was it very specific that they needed to bring their wands? INTERESTING.

Walking into the classroom, she noticed the breeze, yet hadn't noticed that the windows weren't open yet. "Good day, Professor Hadley." Grin. See now THIS was a good day. Not like the other day, but today was good. At least Evelyn liked to think it was.

That was not one of Nora's best days. There wasn't a real reason for her to feel grumpy, but she was only super tired, and especially after searching all around the dorm room for Elijah, who decided to crawl into her trunk.

Entering the Arithmancy classroom, the girl managed to smile at the woman that was standing there. "Hello, professor." With that, she made her way to the closest desk and propped her head in her palms, elbows on desk. She'll only have to hope that she won't fall asleep.

Jesifur walked into the room. "Good day, Professor." she said. Then took a seat and waited for the rest of the students to arrive.

Jenny walked into the door, seeing the professor sit back on her desk. Arithmancy was one of the more interesting classes...even though Jenny much preferred Charms or Transfiguration. "Hello, Professor Hadley." Jenny greeted her with a short nod as she went off searching for a seat. That was when she noticed all of the desks were in pairs.

Oh wait...pairs?! Who else was she supposed to sit with? Quickly sitting down on a desk nearby, she looked around, wondering if anyone else was bothered by this. And what was with the breeze if the windows were closed?

And why was Jenny even bothered by these things in the first place? Panic just came to her for no reason...

Aurora walked in and nodded at the professor, Good Morning, Prof. Hadley. she said as she took a seat.

Arithmancy had been a lesson that Daichi would never know that he would like it. He always thought that numbers just weren't his thing after seeing that ...number book or something from his muggle friend. But after last year classes he knew that he liked the subject.

He entered the classroom as he hoisted his hello kitty school bag over his shoulder and shivered a bit from the cold. Daichi stepped towards the front of the classroom to greet the professor first. " Hello, Professor Hadley" he said with a smile after debating wether or not to disturb her reading but he knew that it would be more rude to ignore her." Had a good summer, Professor?" he asked as his expression changed in to curiousity.

Bowing a bit, Daichi turned around and sat down at the front of the class. After the Charms class where he had learned that he couldn't read the board from the back or the middle of the classroom. So the front was the only option left. Not that he minded though.

Ashley had no idea what to expect from Arithmancy. He hadn't even thought about it enough to wonder if it would be boring or not. Just sort of wondering what kind of class this one was going to be, he went on in, giving the professor a small smile and nod as he passed by.
"Hello, professor," he said, before moving on to find a seat and get ready for class.

Another day, another lesson.

At least this was a class that Mina did pretty well in. Numbers wouldn't case her any more emotional distress to her psyche, unlike potions. Numbers she could do and she actually did enjoy what she learned in this lesson. Plus, she was rather excited about adding more to her journal.

Strolling into the room, she looked toward the front and smiled. Another familiar face. New faces were great and everything, but a familiar face did a lot for her nerves at the moment. "Good day, Professor Hadley." she voiced making her way to the second row desks.

Seeing they were in pairs, she set her things down and took a seat. Working in pairs seemed to be in her future and she just hoped that certain people couldn't sit with her. Awkwardness wasn't needed in this class.

Pulling out her notebook and quill, she set them atop her desk and waited for the lesson to begin.

Wist Ebony entered the room and wondered where the breeze was comign from. She didn't wonder long, however, and wuickly found a seat and said "Hello Professor."

Hugo walked in the class. "Hello, professor," he said. He wasn't really good at Arithmancy.

Alyssa walked into class and looked around. As she walked pass the Professor, she smiled and said "Hello, Professor Hadley". She then picked a desk and sat down behind it and waited for class to start.

Time to turn on my brain, Ness thought to herself as she walked into the Arithmancy classroom. She knew she'd have to think hard during Arithmancy as it dealt with numbers which wasn't one of her specialties. "Good morning Professor Hadley" said Ness trying to sound enthusiastic.

She noticed the desks were in pairs which she didn't mind just as long as she didn't have to sit next to anyone annoying. She took a seat by an empty desk and waited for the class to start by taking out her things.

"Hello, Professor," Cael smiled amicably as he chose one of the empty paired desks. He was so excited for arithmancy; numbers were always one of his strong suits. Pulling out his spotted eagle feather quill, he laid it and a few sheets of parchment in front of him. Hopefully Jayden could be his partner for this class.

Arithmancy was one of the subjects that Carter didn't always feel completely inadequate at. Why? Because it was practically muggle math -- something he'd been doing for years.

"Hello Professor." he said walking in to the classroom.

Wow... the breeze felt good. Perhaps he should sit next to a window. He looked around and realized none of the windows were open.

So he decided on a seat in the middle of the room. He then glanced at the empty seat next to him. They must be doing a partners assignment today...

Caroline was pretty excited about this Arithmancy lesson. Why? She didn't know really. Maybe to her Arithmancy was more of a sit back relax type class for her. She walked into the classroom. Her school bag over her shoulder.

"Hello, Professor Hadley." She pipped up. Before finding a seat. And taking out the things that she would need for class, notebook and quill. She looked up and waited for class to start.

"Good Morning Professor!" Jayden called out cheerfully as she went to sit down next to Cael.

"Thanks for saving me a seat." She smiled, numbers were not really her thing, but maybe with Cael as a partner and tutor she would actually learn something..

Time for Arithmancy! Vashti would be excited for this class on any normal day, but today she looking forward to it even more because they apparently needed their wands for the class. She always carried her wand of course, but actually using it in Arithmancy? Talk about interesting. And she was always ready for an interesting lesson.

"Hello, Professor Hadley," she said with a cheerful grin as she entered the classroom. Hmm, the desks were paired up? And was that a breeze she felt, a breeze that was clearly not coming from outside, considering the windows were closed? This lesson got more and more interesting by the minute.

Vashti quickly took a seat at a pair of empty desks and started pulling out her textbook, notebook, and other things that she would need for when the lesson began.

Amethyst giggled to herself as she walked into the classroom. Arithmancy was going to so much fun! She loved the subject. Numbers were her thing. Cool Bean, Man. She smiled as she spotted Professor Hadley.

She sat at the front of the class, nearest the teachers neck. She set her bag onto the floor and got out some parchment along with her favorite quill. It wasn't anything fancy, just a plain quill she'd been using since day one.

She had hoped the Professor liked Apples and Sugar Cookies. She'd brought them for her. No, she wasn't being a kiss up, just showing Badgerly love to the teacher of her favorite subject. "Good Morning, Professor Hadley! I hope you are having a wonderful morning." She smiled, setting the bag of fresh sugar cookies along with a apple onto the desk.

Kimalia entered into the classroom, enjoying the fresh breeze that came in, "Good day, Professor." She smiled kindly before making her way to her seat. The class was going to be challenging again for her, but the more practice the better, right?

Chelsea walked into the classroom "Good day professor" she said as she went to take her seat.

She wondered how she would do in this class because Arithmancy didn't really seem like her type of class. But just like all the other classes she decided to take it.

Presley walked in and chose a seat at random. This was her worst subject. She was terrible at it, and had only scored an E last term. Hopefully whoever claimed the seat next to hers was good at Arithmancy, or there would be no O for Presley this term.

Ahhh, arithmancy! Nate was extremely curious about this subject, and was ready for almost anything. He saw a second year Ravenclaw sitting alone, and recognized her as the girl he had tried to talk to on the train. "Mind if I sit here?" he asked, gesturing to the empty seat.

FINALLY!

Kurumi couldn't have gotten to the classroom any faster unless she had Apparated - which she was too young to be able to do. Not to mention it was impossible to do so in Hogwarts. Kurumi semi burst into the classroom with a huge smile on her face and immediately made her way to the front to take her usual seat.

She froze for just a moment, wondering if he was going to be in class. Kurumi felt even more awkward around him now, even after their conversation, and she still wasn't entirely convinced that he wanted to be around her, nor was she sure she did. Suddenly, Arithmancy just got a little less appealing.

Until she looked at Professor Hadley and the smile returned to her face. "Good day, Professor Hadley," she beamed, bowing just a bit and then taking her books and parchment out of her bag. The breeze in the room pushed her papers to the side and Kurumi fell onto her desk to prevent them from going anywhere. "Part of the lesson, professor?" she asked, taking a peek up at the woman. Kurumi settled for placing her textbook on top of the parchments, preventing them from going anywhere.
